THE VENT CONTROLS FAILED TO GENERATE WARM AIR WHEN THE HEATING FUNCTION WAS USED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC STATED THAT THE HEATER CORE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED BY A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE NOT AVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHRYSLER 200. UPON STARTING AND DRIVING THE VEHICLE FOR A WHILE, THE HEATER VENTILATION WOULD CIRCULATE HOT AIR ON THE DRIVER SIDE AND COLD AIR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. DUE TO THE FAILURE, THE DEFOGGER ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE WAS NOT OPERATIONAL AND PREVENTED THE CONTACT FROM SEEING OUT THE WINDSHIELD. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC OR DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO DECELERATE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED AFTER THE HEATER BLOWER FAILED TO BLOW HEAT OUT OF THE PASSENGER SIDE VENTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES. THE LOCAL DEALER (JIM RIEHL'S FRIENDLY CHRYSLER JEEP IN STERLING HEIGHTS, MI) WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000.
THE HEAT BLOWS OUT HOT AIR ON DRIVER'S SIDE BUT ONLY BLOWS OUT COLD AIR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WHICH WILL NOT DEFROST THE WINDSHIELD AND MAKES IT VERY HARD TO SEE WHICH IS A SAFETY HAZARD.
THE CAR ACCUMULATES DEBRIS BELOW THE WINDSHIELD UNDER THE PLASTIC TRAY WHICH CLOGS UP A DRAIN TUBE WHICH THEN MAKES THE WATER FLOOD BACK THROUGH THE HEATER CORE INTO THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR . WETTING THE FLOOR SOAKING THE CARPET AND CAUSING RUST AND BLACK MOLD. I HAD IT FIXED ONCE, BUT AFTER INVESTIGATION INTO THE CHRYSLER CARS THAT THIS IS AN ON GOING PROBLEM WITH ALL THEIR VEHICLES FOR YRS NOW. THIS NEEDS TO BE RECALLED AND THIS DESIGN FLAW FIXED. EITHER THEY NEED TO HAVE FREE MAINTENANCE OF THIS OR THEY NEED TO HAVE A SEPARATE TUBE FOR RAIN DRAINAGE AND A DIFFERENT TUBE FOR AC HEAT DRAINAGE.. IT HAS CAUSE DEPRECIATION OF MY OVER ALL RESALE VALUE OF THIS CAR PLUS CAUSED CARPET PADDING DAMAGE RUST AND POSSIBLY MOLD IN MY CAR.. CHRYSLER KEEPS LAYING BACK ON THE OWNERS SAYING MAINTENANCE PROBLEM .. AND CHARGING OVER 500 TO FIX IT. IT'S NOT LIKE AN OWNER CAN EASILY CLEAN THIS AREA IT INVOLVES TAKE APART THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ETC
BOTH THE DASH AND PASSENGER WINDOW DEFROSTERS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR BLOWS COLD AIR. THIS IS NOT JUST A COMFORT ISSUE. THE RESTRICTED VISIBILITY IS VERY DANGEROUS. I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS ONLINE AND THE COST TO FIX IS RIDICULOUS. THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL FROM CHRYSLER.
MY STEPDAUGHTER'S CAR (2012 CHRYSLER 200), APPARENTLY HAS A BAD TIPM. TOOK IT TO CHECKER WHO DIAGNOSED THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT WHICH HAD COME ON AND TOLD US IT WAS MOST LIKELY THE TIPM. WE THEN TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER (EARNHARDT, CHRYSLER, JEEP, DODGE, RAM IN GILBERT, AZ) FOR AN N38 RECALL ISSUE (ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINT/AIR BAG) THEY TOLD US THEY WOULD RESET THE TIPM MODULE AND WE WERE HOPING TO HAVE THE ISSUE RESOLVED. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT BEFORE WE TOOK IT FOR THE RECALL ISSUE, THE CAR HAD SEEMED TO BE WORKING FINE AND MYSTERIOUSLY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAD TURNED OFF. WELL, LO AND BEHOLD AFTER THEY REPROGRAMMED THE TIPM AND DID THE AIR BAG RECALL WE PICKED UP THE CAR AND MY WIFE IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAD REAPPEARED AND THE CAR WAS ONCE AGAIN DRIVING LIKE [XXX]! I CAME HOME AND STARTED DOING RESEARCH AND FOUND THIS WEBPAGE THAT TOLD ME TO FILE COMPLAINTS, HOWEVER, I ALSO NOTICED THAT THERE WAS APPARENTLY A SOFTWARE PATCH THAT CHRYSLER CAME OUT WITH AS A RESULT OF THIS PROBLEM. I CALLED CHRYSLER @ 800-992-1997 THINKING I MIGHT GET SOMEONE WHO COULD GIVE ME MORE INFORMATION BUT OF COURSE THIS HAPLESS CHARACTER DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL I WAS TALKING ABOUT IN REFERENCE TO A "SOFTWARE PATCH" HE DID CALL THE DEALERSHIP WE WERE JUST AT FOR THE RECALL, BUT OF COURSE, GOT NOTHING BUT AN ANSWERING MACHINE. HE TOLD ME HE LEFT A MESSAGE AND THEY WOULD CALL BACK MONDAY TO TALK ABOUT OUR CONCERNS. I'M NOT HOLDING MY BREATH WAITING FOR THE CALL. WHAT BOTHERS ME MOST, AND IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING IS THE FACT THAT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE CONTACTED CHRYSLER AND OTHER SOURCES AND HAVE GOTTEN NOWHERE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE REPAIR FEES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2012 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE THE CONTACT'S PARTNER WAS DRIVING 25 MPH, THE DRIVER CRASHED INTO A WALL TO PREVENT REAR ENDING ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE BACK AND NECK, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED FROM THE SCENE AND CONFIRMED DESTROYED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V668000 (SEAT BELTS, AIR BAGS), BUT THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN SERVICED. THE CAR HAD ONLY 35,000 MILES WHEN THE ISSUE STARTED. THE PASSENGER HEAT IS COLD, AND THE DEFROST WILL NOT WORK, WHILE THE DRIVER'S SIDE GETS WARM, AND WILL DEFROST A SMALL AMOUNT OF THE DRIVER SIDE WINDSHIELD, AND NOTHING ON THE SIDE WINDOWS. THIS ISSUE IS A HAZARD FOR VISIBILITY IN THE WINTER. I HAVE RESEARCHED THE MATTER TO FINDS THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH THE CHRYSLER 200 AND HAS A REPAIR BILL OF $1500 AS THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS A BLOCKAGE OR CLOG IN THE SYSTEM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2012 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE THE CONTACT'S GRANDDAUGHTER WAS DRIVING 10 MPH AND MAKING A LEFT TURN, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY AND THE DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT FAILED TO RESTRAIN THE DRIVER, WHICH CAUSED HER HEAD TO HIT THE STEERING WHEEL. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED BRUISING TO THE FOREHEAD, BUT MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NOT REQUIRED. THE FRONT SEAT PASSENGER WAS UNINJURED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO A LOCAL AUTO BODY SHOP WHERE IT WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V668000 (AIR BAGS, SEAT BELTS) SEVERAL MONTHS PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED AS THE RECALL NOTICE STATED THAT OWNERS WOULD RECEIVE A SECOND NOTICE WHEN REMEDY PARTS BECOME AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,566.
I HAVE TALKED TO SEVERAL PEOPLE WITH CHRYSLER 200 AND THE ALL HAVE FAULTY HEATER CORE
The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 200. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V668000 (Seat Belts, Air Bags) and 17V640000 (Seats, Air Bags) however, the parts to do the recall repairs were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

HEAT STOPPED WORKING ON PASSENGER SIDE. DEFROSTING IS MORE DIFFICULT BEING THAT THE AIR IS NOT WARM IN COLD TEMPERATURES. PRIOR TO THE HEAT NOT WORKING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE THE A/C STOPPED GETTING COLD TOO. (IT WAS GETTING COLD ONLY ON THE DRIVERS SIDE)
DEFROST DOES NOT WORK AND THIS IMPAIRS VISIBILITY. CANNOT DRIVE CAR WHEN WINDSHIELD FOGS. DEALER REPORTS THAT THE HEATER CORE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $2000. THIS IS WIDESPREAD AMONG THIS MODEL AND SIMILAR MODELS ACCORDING TO COMPUTER SEARCH.
COMPLAINT: PASSENGER SEAT BELT GETS STUCK WHEN BUCKLED. YOU HAVE TO PULL REALLY HARD TO RELEASE THE BUCKLE. IF I WERE TO GET IN A WRECK I COULD NOT GET A PASSENGER OUT OF MY PASSENGER SEAT BECAUSE ITS TOO HARD TO UNBUCKLE.THIS OCCURS WHEN CAR IS MOVING AND STATIONARY. HEATER PROBLEMS: MY PASSENGER SIDE HEAT IS NOT WORKING IT IS BLOWING COLD AIR AND WILL NOT DEFROST THE PASSENGER SIDE. ONLY THE DRIVER SIDE RIGHT VENT BLOWS WARM AIR. THIS ISSUE OCCURS WHEN CAR IS STATIONARY AND MOVING.

THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE FAILURE COULD BE DUE TO LOW FUEL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
WHEN I TURN ON THE FAN WHEN USING THE HEATER OR THE AIR CONDITIONER THERE IS A NOTICEABLE CLICKING SOUND COMING FROM THE DASH ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR. THE SOUND AT THIS TIME IS LASTING ABOUT 30 SECONDS OR SO THEN STOPS. THIS HAPPENS WHEN DRIVING OR STANDING STILL.
HEATER AND DEFROSTER FAIL ON PASSENGER SIDE OF VEHICLE. THIS CAUSES THE DRIVER TO NOT BE ABLE TO SEE. THE CAUSE OF THIS FAILURE IS DO TO FAULTY FLUID/DESIGN BY CHRYSLER. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUES.

THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT TOW COMPANY (718-828-1500) WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE ALTERNATOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE QUOTE PROVIDED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 101,580.
TO START OFF THE ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL WILL NOT STOP TURNING OFF AND ON EVEN AFTER REPLACING EVERYTHING . ALMOST ALL THE TIME WHEN IT RAINS THEY WILL KICK IN THE E BRAKE AND START GRINDING . NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I CHANGE THE BRAKES AND ROTORS AND MASTER CONTROL THEY NEVER STOP SQUEAKING . LASTLY ALMOST ALL THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS STARTED AFTER THE ALTERNATOR FAILED AND I HAD TO REPLACE IT . MY SPEEDOMETER JUST DIED ON ME TODAY AND I HAVE NO CLUE HOW THAT HAPPENED .
VEHICLE WAS RECALLED TEN MONTHS AGO (16V-668). PARTS ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE. LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP IS STATING PARTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL 2018. MAKE CHRYSLER FIX THIS SAFETY CONCERN!
RECALL WAS ISSUED IN SEPTEMBER 2016, FOR; "VEHICLES MAY EXPERIENCE LOSS OF AIR BAG AND SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER DEPLOYMENT CAPABILITY IN CERTAIN CRASH EVENTS DUE TO A SHORTING CONDITION RESULTING IN A NEGATIVE VOLTAGE TRANSIENT THAT TRAVELS TO THE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER VIA THE FRONT IMPACT SENSOR WIRES." IT IS NOW JULY 2017, WITHOUT AN ESTIMATED REPAIR TIME NOR WHEN OR HOW THE SITUATION COULD BE FIXED.
IT STARTED YESTERDAY MORNING JULY 5TH 2017, AS I WAS DRIVING 45MPH TO WORK MY CAR JUST SHUT OFF WITH NO WARNING.. IT HAPPENED TWICE.. TODAY JULY 6TH ON MY WAY HOME TAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN MY CAR SHUTS OFF AGAIN, NO WARNING.. TRIED STARTING IT WHICH IT STARTED BUT THEN NOTICE THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON AND MY OIL LIGHT CAME ON SAYING NEEDS OIL CHANGE.... I STILL HAVE OVER A THOUSAND MILES BEFORE MY NEXT OIL CHANGE IS DUE... LATER THAT DAY I CHECKED MY OIL WHICH WAS GOOD, DIDN'T NEED ANY.. I'M JUST CONFUSED ON WHAT'S GOING ON ESPECIALLY WHEN I JUST PAID $6500 TO PAY THE CAR OFF...

THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
WITHOUT ANY SYMPTOMS OR WARNING MY 2012 CHRYSLER 200 EXPERIENCED TOTAL TRANSMISSION FAILURE WHILE DRIVING IN HEAVY CITY TRAFFIC. WHILE TURNING LEFT AT AN INTERSECTION I LOST ALL GEARS. I WAS NEARLY REAR ENDED BY A CITY BUS. THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP THAT THE CAR WAS TOWED TO STATES THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH THE 200 V6.
RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE BUT NO PARTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR A FIX. BEEN WAITING ABOUT 6 MONTHS WITH NO ACTION. HOW DO I GET THE COMPANY MOVING ON PROVIDING CORRECTIVE ACTION?

MY AIRBAG LIGHT HAD COME UP. IT TURNED OF ONCE THEN CAME BACK ON. IT HAS NOT TURNED OFF SINCE THEN. IT STARTED ON 6/19/17. IT TURNED OF ONCE WHEN I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT. NOW IT'S ALWAYS ON.
I WAS DRIVING AROUND 40-50 MPH WHEN MY VEHICLE SHUT DOWN FOR NO REASON AND WITH NO WARNING. THE ONLY WARNING WAS AFTER IT SHUT DOWN AND THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I HAD TO SWERVE OUT OF TRAFFIC WITH NO POWER STEERING AND TURN THE IGNITION TO OFF. THAT I STARTED IT BACK UP AND IT DROVE FINE BUT WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STILL ON. I HAVE READ NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS AND ABOUT DEALERS DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT. SOME COMPLAINTS INVOLVING INJURIES AND CHILDREN. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS BECAUSE I AM NOW STUCK WITH A LEMON THAT IS NOT WORTH WHAT I OWE.

I WAS DRIVING MY 2012 CHRYSLER 200 AND IT STOPS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD SUDDENLY WITH OUT ANY WARNING. IT HAPPENED TO ME 8 TIMES IN A ROW NOW WITH IN WEEK. PURCHASED A USED CHRYSLER 200 IN FEBRUARY 2017 AT 87,XXX MI. IT IS NOW JUNE 2017 AND 3 TIMES IN THE LAST 3 DAYS MY CAR HAS SUDDENLY DIED. THE FIRST TIME I WAS SLOWING DOWN AND MADE A RIGHT TURN AND UPON ACCELERATING IT DIED, DASH LIGHTS ILLUMINATED, QUICKLY TRIED TO RESTART AND WAS UNSUCCESSFUL WITH JUST NOTHING HAPPENING WHEN TURNING KEY. TOOK KEY OUT OF IGNITION AND RETRIED AND STARTED RIGHT UP. NEXT DAY I WAS AGAIN SLOWING DOWN AND MAKING A RIGHT TURN AND BAM SAME THING SAME DETAILS. 3RD INCIDENT I WAS DRIVING STRAIGHT AND THE CAR STALLED THIS TIME I WAS DOING ABOUT 15 MPH AND THE STEERING LOCKED UP, QUICKLY TOOK KEY OUT AND RESTARTED. ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON AND DIAGNOSED AS CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR MALFUNCTION. REPLACED THE SENSOR AND HAVE ONLY DRIVEN FOR SHORT DISTANCE AS THE FIRST 2 TIMES THIS HAPPENED WERE TERRIFYING ENOUGH. AFTER HOURS OF ONLINE RESEARCH I'VE FOUND THIS IS COMMON AND JUST BEING NEGLECTED. CHRYSLER FIX THIS ISSUE BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY INJURED
THE CONVERTIBLE TOP MOTOR IS BROKEN AND THE TOP WILL NOT GO UP OR DOWN. LUCKILY IT IS BROKEN IN THE UP POSITION. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE PART REPLACED THROUGH CHRYSLER AND ALL THEY CAN TELL ME IS THAT THE PART HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AND NO AFTER MARKET PARTS ARE EVEN AVAILABLE. THIS CAR HAS A AIR BAG SIGN IN DASBOARD. 7-8 MONTHS AGO THERE WAS A AIR BAG RECALL FOR THIS CAR BUT THE AGENCY SAID IT WAS FOR DIFFERENT PART RECALL WHICH MEANS THIS CAR STILL HAS AN AIRBAG SIGN IN DASHBOARD. GEICO HAS BEEN TAKING THEIR SWEET TIME TO REIMBURSE ME FOR MY VEHICLE. THE ACTUAL ACCIDENT OCCURRED ON APRIL 25TH, 2017. THE POLICE REPORT IS INACCURATE. TODAY IS AUGUST 30TH, 2017 AND I'M STILL WAITING ON A CHECK. THE TOW YARD HAS APPARENTLY BECOME THE LIENHOLDER SO I'VE BEEN TOLD AND GEICO HAS TO PAY THEM OFF BEFORE THEY CAN PAY ME? HOWEVER, I WAS AWARE THE PASSENGER SEATBELTS WERE LOCKED BUT I WAS STILL ABLE TO WRAP THE DRIVER'S BELT AROUND ME. FURTHERMORE, I'VE HAD NUMEROUS HEADLIGHT ISSUES IN BOTH HEADLIGHTS AND THE AC EVENTUALLY STOPPED WORKING. THERE WAS ALSO A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON THAT COULD NOT BE TURNED OFF. I SPOKE WITH CHRYSLER AND THEY TOLD ME NOTHING CAN BE DONE AS FAR AS REIMBURSEMENT AT THIS POINT BECAUSE I HAVE NO POSSESSION OF THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER, THE TITLE IS STILL IN MY NAME AND THE POSSESSION ISSUE IS GEICO'S FAULT. I AM LOOKING FOR SOME TYPE OF JUSTICE IN THIS SITUATION IT COULD HAVE BEEN ME IN THE CRASH. THE VEHICLE STALLS OUT - POWER IS SHUT-OFF WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. THE VEHICLE BECOMES TDISABLE WHILE TRYING TO DRIVE. THIS OCCURS THREE TIMES THIS YEAR. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE VEHICLE OPERATING AGAIN IT TO PUT IN PARK AND RESTART THE CAR. THE STEERING WHILE LOCKS UP AS WELL. I HAVE TO TAKE THE HIGHWAY TO WORK EVERYDAY. MOST OF THE INSTANCES WHEN THIS HAPPENS I'M NOT DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. THE STALLING OF THE CAR OCCURS WHEN YOU DRIVE ABOUT 2-3 MILES. THE CAR BEARS LEFT AND STARTS TO STALLED OUT. IT LOST POWER. EVERY TIME THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED IT HAPPENS WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION.
