THE CAR SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE STREET NO WARNING
MY BREAKING IS IN EFFECTIVE. THE RIDE OF THE CAR IS NOT SMOOTH. WHEN TAKING IT TO GET IT SERVICED THEY TOLD ME MY MAKE AND MODEL IS ON RECALL FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM I AM HAVING BUT MY VIN NUMBER DID NOT SHOW UP. I HAVE NOT GOTTEN IT REPAIRED AS IT IS EXPENSIVE AND CHRYSLER SHOULD HONOR THIS PROBLEM. I BELIEVE MY VIN NUMBER SHOULD FALL IN THE RECALL GUIDELINES.
VEHICLE LOOSES POWER WHILE DRIVING; BOTH ON THE INTERSTATE AND COUNTRY ROADS. TURNS ITSELF OFF. TRANSMISSION FREEZES BETWEEN 4TH AND 6TH GEARS. AND WON'T SHIFT, CAUSING LOSS OF POWER.
WHILE DRIVING THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WENT OUT. SPEEDOMETER AND ALL ELECTRONICS AND DISPLAYS WENT OUT. I HAD TO PULL OVER ON THE HIGHWAY AND TURN OFF THE CAR AND BACK ON AND THE DISPLAY WENT BACK ON. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THEY SAID THE CODES THAT CAME UP ARE INCONCLUSIVE. THIS IS THE 4TH TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AND IT SEEMS TO ONLY HAPPEN DURING WARM OR HOT WEATHER. THIS IS VERY CONCERNING WHILE DRIVING. SEARCHING VARIOUS FORMS, IT SEEMS THIS IS AN ISSUE OTHER CHRYSLER DRIVERS HAVE EXPERIENCED.
HI I WAS DRIVING MY KIDS TO SCHOOL DOING 55 MPH ALL OF A SUDDEN CAR ENGINE TURNS OFF AND I HAVE POWER STEERING STAYS ON.COASTED INTO THE DITCH THANK GOD AND CAR KEEPS TELLING ME TO PUT CAR IN PARK TO START.I PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND HIT BUTTON AND IT STARTS RIGHT UP LIKE NOTHING WAS WRONG.WE GET BACK ON THE ROAD ABOUT HALF A MILE AND IT SHUTS OFF AGAIN.SO IN A SPAND OF 15 MIN CAR SHUT DOWN 7 TIMES ALL THE SAME THING ENGINE SHUTS OFF.DAM THING ALMOST KILLED ME AND MY KIDS SO MAD THAT SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS AND NOBODY SEEMS TO KNOW WHY.WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT CAN AND SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT THIS ISSUE.CAR STUCK IN MY DRIVEWAY BECAUSE I AM AFRAID I MIGHT KILL SOME INNOCENT PERSON ON THE ROAD OR WALKING BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE WITH CAR SHUTTING DOWN AT SUCH HIGH SPEEDS THANK YOU
WE WERE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND THERE WERE NO CARS OR ANYTHING AROUND TO CAUSE WHAT HAPPENED. WE HEARD A LOUD BANG OR EXPLOSION LIKE A GUN GOING OFF AND IT HURT MY EARS AND MADE THEM RING. IT LIKE STUNNED US ALMOST LIKE WHEN YOU WRECK A CAR FEELING. I CHECKED MYSELF FOR BLOOD AND ASKED THE OTHERS IN MY CAR WERE THEY OK.WE PULLED OVER TO CHECK AND MY SUNROOF HAD EXPLODED. WHAT'S LEFT UP THERE WAS PUSH OUTWARD LIKE THE CAR HAD PRESSURE IN IT AND THAT'S HOW IT RELEASED IT. I NEED THE COMPANY TO FIX IT BUT THEY WON'T .WE CALLED THE HEADQUARTERS AS SOON AS WE GOT TO THE HOUSE AND TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AS THE REQUESTED THE VERY NEXT DAY AND THEY WILL NOT FIX IT AND ITS THEIR FAULT FOR USING WHATEVER GLASS THEY USED OR MAYBE THE BODY OF THE CAR TWIST TO MUCH. ITS THEIR BUILD AND O THEIR FAULT. I DIDN'T MAKE THIS CAR OR DO ANYTHING TO IT. *DT*JB
This car is shutting off and losing power while driving putting me as well as other motorists in danger due to this occurring without warning and under any rate and direction of motion. I have loss power causing my emergency brakes to initiate causing the car to immediately stop. I was crossing an intersection when the car shut off. Yesterday, I was entering an entrance ramp onto the freeway and my car loss power, and the only time I was happy to have the police behind me because they blocked traffic so I would not get hit while trying to restart my car. The first time this occurred was April 2019 when my car lost power while I was driving on a high rise bridge during a storm causing the car to hydroplane back and forth against the railing. I was able to restart it and turn the hazard lights on so I would not get hit. But this accident injured me causing me to undergo months of medical treatment. Even after telling the insurance company about the power loss during the accident and even after the car was repaired from the accident then returned to me, it still was losing power. They took my car back and told me after inspecting it again, it was the battery and they replaced it. This was never taken serious when I was injured and could have died that day and many other days since. They did not check to see if it could have been a recall issue. Now I am experiencing this problem multiple times a week, and unless this is done by the manufacturer, it will not be corrected, putting us all in danger or leaving me without transportation because I have no faith I will be safe to continue to drive this car that I still have a year and a half of payments left. This is my families only transportation.
AS I WAS DRIVING HOME ON THE HIGHWAY THE CHECK TRANSMISSION LIGHT CAME ON, I TURNED INTO A GAS STATION AND ATTEMPTED TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND WAS UNABLE TOO. A NOTIFICATION POPPED UP STATING THE CAR WAS NOT IN PARK AND TO APPLY PARKING BRAKE TO PREVENT CAR FROM ROLLING. I THEN PUT THE CAR BACK IN D BUT WAS UNABLE TO MOVE, I THEN PLACED THE CAR IN R BUT ALSO WAS NOT ABLE TO MOVE. AFTER ATTEMPTING TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK AGAIN WITH NO SUCCESS, I TRIED TO TURN THE CAR OFF, THIS ALSO WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE CAR WOULD ONLY GO TO ACC, I WAS FORCED TO LEAVE THE CAR IN THIS MODE UNTIL IT CUT OFF ON ITS OWN. I RETURNED TO THE CAR THE NEXT DAY AND WAS ABLE TO START IT, UPON STARTING THE CAR WAS IN P AND ALLOWED ME TO GO D AND MOVE THE VEHICLE. WITHIN 10 FEET OF DRIVING ON THE STREET, THE CHECK TRANSMISSION LIGHT REAPPEARED, I THEN PULLED INTO A PARKING SPACE ON THE STREET AND TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENED IN THIS CAR AT LEAST 7 TIMES AND I HAVE BEEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM AT LEAST 5 TIMES. EVERY TIME IT WAS EITHER A SIMPLE FIX OR THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I AM NOW OUT OF MY WARRANTY AND MAY BE FORCED TO PAY FOR A TRANSMISSION TO BE FIXED. I AM RISKING THE LIFE OF MY 4 YEAR OLD CHILD EVERY DAY I USE THIS CAR. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS EXACT ISSUE BUT SOMEHOW MY CAR WAS NOT INCLUDED.
I HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH THIS CAR SINCE DAY 1 AND NOBODY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. FIRST IT ACT LIKE IT WANTS TO CUT OFF WHILE I'M DRIVING, THEN IT WENT TO ACTING LIKE IT DIDN'T WANT TO START AND NOW MY CAR HAS BEEN SITTING UP FOR MONTHS AND WILL NOT START AT ALL. IT'S READING AIRBAG SYSTEMS AND WARMING ENGINE WAIT TO START. WHEN I WAIT IT STILL WON'T START. I'M STILL PAYING AMERICAN CAR CENTER MY MONEY FOR SOMETHING I CAN'T EVEN DRIVE AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME SOMEONE WILL GET BACK WITH ME AND NEVER DO.
TRANSMISSION STARTED ACTING UP, JERKING, STUCK IN 4TH GEAR AND ALSO IN 7TH GEAR WHILE DRIVING 55 MILES AN HOUR. NUMEROUS TIMES, ALSO CAUSED ME TO WRECK HIT A TRASH CAN BECAUSE IT WAS EITHER THAT IT BE RAN OVER BY A SEMI, I TOOK THE LESSER OF THE 2 EVILS, MY CAR HAS NEVER HAD A LEAK OF ANY SORTS, KEEP IT IN A GARAGE WHEN NOT DRIVING, HAD IT TOWED BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T GO INTO DRIVE OR REVERSE TO FUQUA MOTORS DUNKIRK INDIANA BECAUSE OF THE TRANSMISSION ISSUES, WHEN I GOT IT BACK IT SEEMED OK FOR ABOUT 7 DAYS, THEN I NOTICED IT JERKING AGAIN, TOOK IT BACK TO FUQUA THEY WORKED ON IT AGAIN, LASTED ABOUT A MONTH NOTICED IT JERKING AND GETTING STUCK IN 4TH AND 7TH GEAR AGAIN CAUSING ME TO ALMOST WRECK ON A HIGHWAY, TOOK IT BACK THEY SUPPOSEDLY FIXED IT, THEN AFTER HAVING IT HOME FOR A BIT I HAD A LIQUID ALL OVER MY GARAGE FLOOR FOUND OUT IT WAS TRANSMISSION FLUID SO I TOOK IT BACK AGAIN, THEY CLAIMED IT WAS FLUID OVERAGE FROM TRANSMISSION FLUID SO THEY HOSED IT DOWN SAID THEY DID THE WORK FOR FREE SUPPOSEDLY ALL THIS WORK FELL UNDER POWER TRAIN WARRANTY YET THEY WOULDN'T COVER THE COST OF MY RENTALS AND I OWN A BUSINESS THAT REQUIRES TRAVEL, SO I SPENT OVER A THOUSAND ON RENTALS. NOW TRANSMISSION IS JERKING AGAIN, FLUID ALL OVER MY GARAGE FLOOR AGAIN, ALMOST WRECKED ON MY WAY HOME DRIVING IT, NOW IT'S BEEN PARKED IN MY GARAGE UNDRIVABLE SO I HAVE ONCE AGAIN RENTED A VEHICLE, NEEDLESS TO SAY THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY HASN'T BEEN HONORED, HAS CAUSED ME TO WRECK AND I HAVE A CRACKED WINDSHIELD AND BIG DENT ON FRONT OF CAR, THIS IS MY BUSINESS CAR MY LIVELIHOOD, MY ONLY MEANS TO GET MY DAUGHTER TO THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IN INDIANAPOLIS, I'VE ALWAYS OWNED JEEPS, DODGES AND THIS WAS MY FIRST CHRYSLER, I'M SO DISAPPOINTED THAT MY POWER TRAIN WARRANTY WAS NEVER HONORED NOR WERE MY RENTALS PAID DURING WHICH TIMES THE DEALERSHIP HAD MY CAR, CAR IS DOING IT AGAIN WITH LEAKS OF FLUID.

THE CONTACT CALLED FERMAN CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM TAMPA (24314 FL-54, LUTZ, FL 33559, (813) 929-2400). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LOKEY SUBARU OF PORT RICHEY (11613 US-19, PORT RICHEY, FL 34668, (727) 862-9044), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS SIMILAR TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V470000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,897.
LOOKS LIKE WHEN I SPEED UP GEARS FEELS TO HEAVY LIKE GEARS NOT CHANGING WHEN IS SUPPOSED TO, FEEL LIKE DOESN'T RELEASE LAST GEAR
WHEN ENGINE IS COLD IT STALLS REPEATEDLY WHEN I SLOW DOWN, STOP, TURN A CORNER OR ACCELERATE. CAR IS FINE WHEN IT IS HOT BUT I CAN'T ALWAYS LET IT WARM UP FOR 10 MINUTES BEFORE DRIVING. THIS MORNING WAS THE WORST WHEN I PULLED OUT OF MY SUBDIVISION AND IT STALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC HAVING TO SLAM ON THEIR BRAKES TO AVOID HITTING ME. THIS IS GOING TO GET ME KILLED.
I STARTED TO FEEL THE JERK RANDOMLY WHILE THE CAR SWITCHED GEARS. IT HAPPENS SPORADICALLY BUT WHEN IT DOES, THE CAR FEELS LIKE IT RAN INTO A WALL AND JERKS HARD.
THE CAR SHUT COMPLETELY OFF WHILE IN AN INTERSECTION WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN. THE CAR SHUT OFF DURING A RIGHT TURN. THE CAR SHUT OFF WHILE BACKING OUT OF MY GARAGE. THE CAR JERKS AS IF A GHOST IS HITTING IT FROM BEHIND IN THE MIDDLE OF TAKE OFF FROM A COMPLETE STOP AT A LIGHT OR STOP SIGN. IT SHAKES EVERYONE UP IN FRONT AND BACK SEATS AND IT HAPPENS RANDOMLY AND SPONTANEOUSLY. THIS BEHAVIOR HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR TWO YEARS NOW AND IT WASN'T NOT PROVOKED BY AN ACCIDENT. THANK YOU.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG MAY DEPLOY AT ANY TIME AND THE POWER CONNECTOR NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART A FEW MINUTES LATER AND THE CONTACT DROVE TO WORK. PINE BELT CHEVROLET (1088 NJ-88, LAKEWOOD, NJ 08701, (732) 523-0826) STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL AND SCHEDULED A DIAGNOSTIC APPOINTMENT FOR APRIL 12, 2019. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 118,000.

THE CONTACT CALLED THE DEALER BACK AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE BODY SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,243.
"TAKATA RECALL". MY AIRBAG LIGHT SENSOR ON THE DASH OF MY VEHICLE LIT UP ALONG WITH THE SEATBELT LIGHT WHILE I WAS DRIVING BY MYSELF WITH THE SEATBELT ON CORRECTLY AND NOTHING SITTING IN ANY OF THE PASSENGER SEATS. THE DASH DISPLAYS A MESSAGE OF "SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM". WHEN COMING TO A STOP, THE DASH DISPLAYS"DRIVER SEATBELT UNBUCKLED" WHILE MY SEATBELT IS BUCKLED. I HAVE CHECKED THE VEHICLE FOR RECALLS AND NONE ARE CURRENTLY LISTED WITH THE NHTSA OR THE DEALERSHIP UNDER MY PARTICULAR VIN. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED AT A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP/SERVICE CENTER AND WAS NOTIFIED THAT THE ORC ("OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER") WAS NON RESPONSIVE. THEY (CHRYSLER SERVICE CENTER EMPLOYEE) INFORMED ME THAT I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE SAFETY DEVICE THAT IS DEFECTIVE IN MY VEHICLE. WHILE SITTING IN PARK WITH THE VEHICLE MOTOR RUNNING IN A PARKING LOT THERE WERE THREE LOUD POPS IN MY VEHICLE AND A SMELLY SMOKY SUBSTANCE THROUGHOUT THE VEHICLE. I DID NOT SEE ANY AIR BAGS VISIBLY DEPLOY.
I WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH MY CAR I WOULD GET IN IT TO DRIVE IT AND IT WOULD JUST DIE ON ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND THAT IS VERY DANGEROUS IT GOT TO WHERE I DIDN'T DRIVE IT WELL THEN FINALLY ON A DAY OFF I HAD TO GET MY CHRYSLER 200 TOWED INTO THE NEAREST CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP WHICH IS THE DEALERSHIP LOCATED IN MT JULIET WELL I HAVE ALWAYS HAD MY OIL CHANGED ON TIME AND I HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTS THAT IT WAS CHANGED WELL WE GOT IT TOWED AND THE MECHANIC CHECKED MY OIL AND THERE WAS NO OIL WHAT SO EVER IN MY CAR SO I WOULD UP HAVING TO LEAVE MY CAR FOR THERE MANAGER TO SUPPOSEDLY CHANGE THE OIL AND DO AN OIL PRESSURE TEST WELL I HAD MY CAR PICKED UP BY MY GRANDMA AND THEY DIDN'T GIVER HER A RECEIPT BECAUSE THE MECHANIC TOLD US IT WOULD BE AN OPEN ACCOUNT UNTIL THEY FIGURED OUT IF IT WAS USING OIL WELL I DROVE IT 1 THOUSAND MILES AND TOOK IT BACK AND THE MANAGER WITH THE MECHANIC CHECKED MY OIL AND THEY SAID IT WAS FULL WELL THEN NEXT THOUSAND MILES WE TOOK IT BACK AND THEY DECIDED TO GIVE US ISSUES BECAUSE THE MECHANIC WE WHERE WORKING WITH HAD LEFT THE COMPANY AND WE HAVE A RECEIPT FROM BOTH TIMES AND IT STATES IN THE FIRST RECEIPT THAT THEY PUT IN THEIR SYSTEM THAT THE OIL CONSUMPTION TEST DID BEGIN ON THAT DATE WELL THE MANAGER TOLD US THAT THEY ONLY HAD RECORD OF US BEING THERE TWICE WHICH BOTH TIMES WAS TO CHECK THE OIL WELL THE MANAGER STATED THAT I WOULD HAVE TO BRING IT BACK AND GET AN OIL CHANGE AND START THE ENTIRE PROCESS OVER AGAIN AND MY CAR IS ONLY IN WARRANTY FOR A FEW MORE MONTHS MY CAR IS USING OIL AND THERE IS NO LEAKS THAT ARE HAPPENING I WANT THIS ISSUE FIXED OR YOU CAN BUY THIS CAR OUT I AM TIRED OF HAVING TO MISS WORK OR GOING THROUGH HECK TO TRY TO GET THIS RESOLVED. EITHER MYSELF OR MY WIFE HAVE BEEN DRIVING OUR 200 AND WHILE DRIVING IT STALLS OUTS. IT HAS HAPPENED A NUMBER OF TIMES FOR JUST OVER A MONTH NOW. YESTERDAY I WAS DRIVING IT AND IT MADE A BELL SOUND AND THEN I SAW SOMETHING FLASH ABOUT OIL BUT IT WENT OFF THE SCREEN PRETTY QUICK. I WAS SLOWING AROUND A CORNER. WHILE DRIVING MY 200 I LOST CONTROL OF MY STEERING. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT THE STEERING WARNING LIGHT AS WELL AS MY TRACTION LIGHT. I COULD NOT TURN MY WHEEL AT ALL.
I NOTIFIED THE DODGE RECALL CENTER A MONTH AGO ABOUT AN ISSUE WITH ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS AND ENGINE STALLS AS WELL AS PROBLEM CODES. THIS AFFECTED DRIVING AND PREVENTED REGISTRATION PER SMOG CHECK. I WAS MAKING A ALRIGHT TURN ON EL DORADO AND CLEVELAND STREET LAST THURSDAY, 3/21/2019 AND THE CAR LOCKED UP OR CUT OFF AND SLID INTO A GUARD RAIL AND CURB DAMAGING THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE BODY AND WAS UNFORGIVABLE. IT IS BEING INVESTIGATED NOW BUT THE FCA INVESTIGATOR INFORMED ME THAT HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE UNTIL I SIGNED AND RETURNED THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT. UPON CALLING A MONTH AGO I PERFORMED A VIN SEARCH AND REALIZED THAT THERE WERE A FEW ELECTRICAL RECALL INCIDENTS PERFORMED ON MY VEHICLE PREVIOUSLY WHICH WERE NEVER DISCLOSED WITH ME. AS A MATTER OF FACT THE DEALER EDITED THE DOCUMENTS TO SHOW A CLEAN HISTORY WHEN PRINTING MY PAPERWORK WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. I AM TOTALLY CONFUSED AS TO WHAT MY RIGHTS ARE AND HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING MY VEHICLE REPAIRED OR COMPENSATED. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANY FURTHER DOCUMENTATION.

SO FAR, THE CAR HAS BEEN ABLE TO RESTART AFTER PUTTING THE CAR IN PARK AND AFTER A COUPLE OF ATTEMPTS OF PUSHING THE START BUTTON ALONG WITH STEPPING ON THE BRAKES. IT USUALLY TAKES A COUPLE OF MINUTES. DURING THAT TIME, MY CAR IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET AND IN TRAFFIC. I HAVE HAD MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR DURING SOME OF THESE INCIDENTS. IT IS AN EXTREME SAFETY RISK.

AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON IN MID TO LATE 2018. CAR HAD ~65,000 AT THE TIME. HAD THE CAR DIAGNOSED AT THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT WAS A WIRING HARNESS AND CHARGED ME $300 TO FIX IT. MARCH 2019, THE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON. IT APPEARS ON THE DASH FOR NO APPARENT REASON AS I'M DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. AFTER THE INITIAL AUDIBLE AND VISUAL ALARM, THE VISUAL ALARM STAYS ON AND THE AUDIBLE ALARM REPEATS EVERY MINUTE. RETURNED THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP (AUTOPARK CHRYSLER JEEP IN CARY, NORTH CAROLINA) EXPECTING THAT THE REPAIR WOULD BE COVERED DUE TO THE RECENT REPAIR. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A DIFFERENT WIRING HARNESS AND IT WOULD BE ~$3300. WHEN I ASKED THE SERVICE MANAGER IF THE CAR WAS HAZARDOUS TO DRIVE, HE RESPONDED "ABSOLUTELY". I HAVE SINCE PARKED THE CAR AND IT HAS SAT IDLE SINCE.

WE HAVE TAKEN IT TO ADVANCE AUTO AND THE SCAN TOOL WILL NOT READ ANY CODES. THE RADIO, TOUCH SCREEN AND STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS WILL RANDOMLY STOP WORKING. I HAD AN ALERT POP UP SAYING THE ENGINE TEMP HOT AND SERVICE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL. THE CAR HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE. MY BASIC WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
WHILE DRIVING WITH CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED GOING DOWN A STEEPER GRADE ON I-81 THE VEHICLE ACCELERATES AND WILL NOT DOWN SHIFT. I HAVE TO STOMP THE BRAKE OR CANCEL CRUISE CONTROL TO GET THE VEHICLE TO SLOW DOWN. CRUISE CONTROL WOULD NOT DISENGAGE FROM STEERING COLUMN.
