WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE STALLS AND SHUTS OFF, NO LIGHTS ON DASH. 5 DAYS LATER SAME STALL ISSUE NOW ENGINE LIGHT AND ELECTRICAL LIGHT ARE COMING ON TOO.
"COLD START" MY CAR HAD A RECALL FOR A DEVICE THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. "SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING" I WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS REPLACED AND THIS WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM. "COLD START" THIS IS HAPPENING AGAIN IN THE MORNINGS, THE CAR STARTS FINE: I'LL SIT AND LET IT WARM FOR ABOUT 5 MINS. WHEN I DRIVE OUT THE CARPORT PARKING MAKE A LEFT, THEN MAKING A RIGHT THE CAR SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING. THIS HAS HAPPENED 2 TIME'S LAST MONTH. SAME ISSUE THIS MONTH, BUT IT HAS HAPPENED 10 TIMES THIS MONTH. I WARM THE CAR AND THEN PROCEED TO DRIVE, SHUTS OFF COMPLETELY , BEFORE IT WOULD START RIGHT UP, NOW IT'S HAVING A DELAYED STARTING ISSUE AS IF IT DOESN'T WANT TO START. SAME ROUTINE AS TO WARMING UP MY CAR, I MADE A RIGHT ONTO THE STREET AND WHEN SLOWING DOWN BECAUSE THERE WAS A DIP, CAR SHUT OFF, 3 ATTEMPTS TO START IT UP. THE CAR SHUT OFF AGAIN AT THE STOP SIGH BEFORE HEADING INTO A MAJOR INTERSECTION OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC. IT IS NOW TAKING AT MOST 3 TIMES TO ATTEMPT BEFORE THE CAR STARTS AND NOW THE NEEDLES IN THE CAR ON THE DASH BOARD ROLL OVER FROM THE 0 AND BACK. IT ALSO HAS A DELAY WHEN TRYING TO EXHILARATE. THIS IS HAPPENED TO MY ON THE STREETS WHILE IN MOTION, MAKING TURNS, DRIVING STRAIGHT. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND THE RECALL SPECIFIED THAT THE CAR COULD SHUT OFF WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY.
TAKATA RECALL I HAVE HAD MY CHRYSLER 2015 200 FOR 3 YEARS AND SINCE I'VE HAD MY CAR IT HAS ALWAYS HAD AN ISSUE WITH ACCELERATING ON ITS ON. IT ACCELERATES WHEN YOU TAP THE BREAKS AND IT WILL ACCELERATE ON ITS ON TAKING IT OFF CRUISE CONTROL AS WELL. SO LAST WEEK MY CAR WAS BEING DRIVEN ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE CAR WAS PUT ON CRUISE CONTROL GOING ABOUT 60-65 MPH THEN ONCE THE BRAKE WAS TAPPED TO SLOW DOWN THE CAR BEGAN TO LOCK UP AND ACCELERATE UP TO 90 MPH. THEN AFTER THE CAR PICKED UP SPEED THE WHOLE CAR LOCKED UP STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT TURN OR ANYTHING AND THE CAR ENDED UP HITTING A WALL. THE STATE OF WHAT CAUSE THE ISSUE IS UNKNOWN, HOWEVER I THINK THIS ISSUE SHOULD BE TAKEN FURTHER FOR AN INVESTIGATION.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING AT UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND "SERVICE AIR BAG" WAS DISPLAYED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,000.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION DOES NOT ALWAYS SHIFT UPON STARTING OUT
NOTE THIS DID NOT ALL HAPPEN IN THE SAME DAY YOU ARE SEPARATE OCCURRENCES. FIRST ISSUE CAR SHIFT ITSELF IN THE PARK WHEN I WAS AT A RED LIGHT ON A CITY STREET WOULD NOT SHIFT BACK INTO. SECOND AIRBAG LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON TELLING ME TO SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM COMES ON AND OFF. 3RD I LOSE ALL POWER TO ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. I WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT ON THE HIGHWAY I LOST ALL POWER TO MY HEADLIGHTS INTERIOR LIGHTS RADIO EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL.
I PURCHASED MY 200 IN 2017, THE ABS INDICATOR LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF, THERE ACTUALLY A RECALL BUT, MY VIN DOESN'T SHOW IT. MY EMERGENCY PARK HAS IGNITES ON ITS WHILE STATIONARY AT A STOP SIGN AND WHILE IN TRAFFIC AT A RED LIGHT, THANKFULLY THERE WASN'T ANY SEMI-TRUCKS BEHIND ME BECAUSE, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A FATALITY. THE CAR HAS LOST POWER WHILE IN MOTION AT LEAST 3 TIMES. JUST RECENTLY MY CAR BECOME STUCK IN NEUTRAL AND THE CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. I CALLED CHRYSLER, THEY STATED THAT IT WAS A POWERTRAIN ISSUE AND IT WOULD BE COVERED WITH MY WARRANTY, SO THEY PAID FOR THE TOW TO THE DEALERSHIP, THE DEALERSHIP HAD THE CAR FOR A DAY, THEY COUNTERCLAIMED WHAT CHRYSLER STATED, THEY CLAIMED THAT IT WAS BECAUSE, THE BATTERY WAS JUST REPLACED SO THE COMPUTER NEEDED TO BE RE-SET BUT, THIS HAPPENED ON 2/12/2019 AND MY BATTERY WAS REPLACED ON 9/2018. THERE WAS A RECALL IN 8/2015 FOR THIS EXACT SAME ISSUE. I TALKED TO THE GUYS AT MY REGULAR SERVICE STATION AND AS SOON AS I TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPEN THEY KNEW THAT I WAS LIED TO BY THE LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP.
WENT TO START THE VEHICLE AND IT ACTED LIKE IT DIDN'T WANT TO START BUT DID. THERE WERE MULTIPLE WARNINGS THAT POPPED UP ON THE DASH AND IN THE MESSAGES. THE CAR HAD A LOSS OF POWER AND WOULDN'T GO INTO ANY GEAR. AFTER LETTING IT IDLE FOR 15 MINUTES IT DID FINALLY GO INTO GEAR.
ON SATURDAY 29/9/2019 I WAS GETTING READY TO GO TO WORK FROM FREMONT, CA TO SAN JOSE, CA AND MY CAR WOULDN'T START. I HAD TO PRESS THE PUSH START SEVERAL TIMES TO GET IT TO START,. ONCE IT DID START WHEN I TURNED ON THE DEFROSTER IT STARTED SHAKING AND TURNED OFF. I HAD TO LET IT IDLE MORE THAN 15 MINUTES BEFORE IT WARMED UP. I MADE IT AROUND THE BLOCK ABOUT A QUARTER MILE BEFORE I CAME TO A STOP SIGN AND THE CAR SHUT OFF. I MANAGED TO TURN IT BACK ON AND PULL OVER. IT CONTINUED TO STALL UNTIL I GOT BACK HOME. SINCE THEN IT'S BEEN SHAKING WHEN ON IDLE AND IT JERKS BETWEEN GEARS. WHILE ON THE 880 FREEWAY THE CAR WILL DECELERATE DURING PEAK TRAFFIC HOURS CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO PULL OVER TO THE SLOW LANES TO AVOID GETTING REAR ENDED. I'M TAKING TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR DIAGNOSTICS.
THE CAR HAS SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING. I BOUGHT THE CAR USED LAST YEAR IN MARCH 2018. IT HAD ISSUES W/JERKING BETWEEN GEARS AND "HOPPING", BUT SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, JUST SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING 75 MPH ON A HIGHWAY (TWICE IN 15 MINS). DEALERSHIP ATTEMPTED TO FIX. BUT, ITS BACK TO SAME PROBLEM. IT SHUT OFF TUESDAY WHILE OUT OF TOWN AT A HOTEL WHILE PULLING OUT ONTO A 5 LANE ROAD. SUPPOSEDLY FIXED, AND THEN SHUT OFF ON INTERSTATE 695 AROUND BALTIMORE LAST NIGHT WHILE TWO LANES OF TRAFFIC OVER. SHUTTING OFF WITH -0- WARNING WHILE TRAVELING ON BUSY INTERSTATES IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND POSSIBLE LIFE THREATENING. PER RESEARCH, THIS SEEMS TO BE A MAJOR ISSUE FOR THIS CAR, NOT SURE WHY NHTSA HAS NOT RECALLED IT YET.
THE CAR DIES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING. THE ENGINE STOPS, ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH GO OUT AND THERE IS NO POWER STEERING OR BRAKES. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES THE CAR WAS ABLE TO START AGAIN.
I HAVE 2 CRACKS IN MY WHEEL. I HAVE ALREADY HAD TO SEND 1 WHEEL OFF AT MY OWN EXPENSE TO BE REPAIRED. THIS CAR IS NEVER TAKEN OFF OF PAVEMENT. IT IS ONLY DROVE ON THE HIGHWAY AND CITY STREETS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS RATES OF SPEED, THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. AFTER EXPERIENCING THE FAILURE, THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD A DEFECTIVE CYLINDER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V529000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,367.
OFTEN WHILE DRIVING THE CAR DOWN A CITY STREET IT WILL STALL OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. THUS RESULTING TO TRYING SEVERAL TIMES TO GET IT RESTARTED. BEFORE IT WILL ACTUALLY RESTART WHEN THE IGNITION BUTTON IS PRESSED IT MAKES A WINNING NOISE. IGNITION BUTTON MUST BE PUSHED AGAIN TO STOP THE NOISE. THEN TRY RESTARTING AGAIN.
I HAVE HAD MY THE CAR COMPLETELY CUT OF SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT WARNING. RECENTLY AS I WAS BACKING OUT OF THE DRIVE WAY THE CAR TURNED OFF WHILE IN MOTION AND ALL LIGHTS WENT OUT. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES THE CAR WAS ABLE TO START AND I MOVED IT BACK INTO THE DRIVEWAY. IT IS LIKE IT LOST ALL POWER BECAUSE THE CLOCK WAS NO LONGER SET TO THE CORRECT TIME. THAT WAS ON MONDAY 1/28/2019. TODAY AS APPROACHING A STOP SIGN THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. WITHOUT WARNING AND NO LIGHTS ON THE DASH BOARD. I HAVE NOTICED THAT OTHER CARS WITHIN THE SAME YEAR HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR SIMILAR ISSUES BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY NOTIFICATION. I WOULD LIKE MY CAR LOOKED AT FREE OF CHARGE AS THIS IS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. IF I AM IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND THE CAR JUST DECIDES TO TURN OFF WHILE IN MOTION I CAN BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED. THIS IS ALSO NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE FILLED THIS FORM OUT..
WHEN DRIVING BETWEEN 30 AND 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHIFTS HARD BETWEEN GEARS. MOST RECENTLY ANOTHER PROBLEM OCCURRED L, WHILE PUSHING ON THE ACCELERATOR TO PASS OR ACCELERATE QUICKLY, THE TRANSMISSION DOES NOT ENGAGE, LEAVING THE VEHICLE UNABLE TO ACCELERATE. THE ENGINE WILL REV AND THE TACHOMETER WILL INCREASE BUT THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE. IF THE DRIVER WAS TRYING TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OF A VEHICLE COMING TWORDS THEM THEY WOULD BE HELPLESS AND THIS COULD CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO ALL DRIVERS. I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO AN APPROVED FCA MECHANIC, AND WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM, OR THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED A REPROGRAMMING. I HAVE HAD THIS SERVICE DONE NOW 7 TIMES AND NO GUARANTEE THAT IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN.

THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

IN ADDITION, THE TRANSMISSION ERRONEOUSLY SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL AND BACK INTO DRIVE, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO MOMENTARILY LOSE POWER. IN ADDITION, WHILE DRIVING, THE PARKING BRAKE ERRONEOUSLY ACTIVATED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO ABRUPTLY STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CHRIS NIKEL CHRYSLER (2920 N. ASPEN AVE, BROKEN ARROW, OK), BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.

THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT ENGINE OIL SPILLED INTO THE SPARK PLUG CHAMBER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CAR TOWN KIA USA (3120 LEXINGTON ROAD, NICHOLASVILLE, KY 40356, (859) 887-4737) WHERE THE FAILURE WAS CONFIRMED. THE THROTTLE BODY, OIL EXHAUST MANIFOLD, TWO ENGINE SENSORS, AND CATALYTIC CONVERTER WERE CLEANED AND REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DAN CUMMINS CHEVROLET BUICK (1020 MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BOULEVARD, PARIS, KY 40361, (859) 340-1649) WHERE ENGINE OIL WAS FOUND IN THE SPARK PLUG CHAMBER AGAIN. THE DEALER CLEANED THE SPARK PLUG CHAMBER AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE REQUIRED AN OIL CHANGE EVERY 3,000 MILES. THE DEALER FURTHER STATED THAT IF THE OIL CHANGE WAS NOT PERFORMED, THE ENGINE WOULD LOSE OIL AND THE OIL WOULD FLOOD INTO THE SPARK PLUG CHAMBER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 58391349. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,309. *BF CONSUMER STATED DEALER HAD US PERFORM 1,000 MILE OIL CONSUMPTION TEST BY SEALING DIP STICK/ OIL ACCESS POINTS AND WITH OUR CONCERN/ OBJECTION DUE TO HOW THE CAR QUIT ON THE HWY PREVIOUS, BUT WE WERE TO DRIVE FOR 1,000 MILES AND RETURN TO SEE RESULTS. AT 884 MILES WE RETURNED AND THE CAR WITH NO SIGN OF LEAKS USED OVER A QUART OF OIL. VALVE COVER-SPARK PLUG TUBE SEAL; BASKET:IGNITION COIL; GASKET; CYLINDER HEADCOVER UNDER 5/22/19 POWER TRAIN WARRANTY. CHYSLER MANUFACTURER STATED THEY WOULD COVER COST AND RENTAL CAR. THEY STATED THEY WOULD COVER CATALYSTIC COVERTER REPLACEMENT BECAUSE THE REPAIR WAS DONE BY AN UNCERIFIED MECHANIC WHERE WE BOUGHT THE CAR.*JB
TAKATA RECALL.. I WENT TO GALENA TWICE FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. EACH TIME THEY'VE TOLD ME THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. MY SERVICE PARK BRAKE COMES ON AND SO DOES THE SERVICE TRANSMISSION, IT COMES ON WHEN I START THE CAR AND DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO SHIFT GEARS. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I'VE HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS PROBLEM. I AM BORDERLINE WANTING TO GO FORTH WITH A LAWSUIT BECAUSE I FEAR MY LIFE IS IN DANGER WHEN I DRIVE THIS CAR. BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE. I BOUGHT A CHYSLER 200 LIMITED 2015 VEHICLE. I KEEP GETTING A LITE FOR THE PASSANGER SIDE AIRBAG. THE TRANSMISSION HAS ISSUES. THE CAR "KICKS" FREQUENTLY, ESPECIALLY IN BETWEEN GEARS. I CALLED CHYSLER ABOUT THE CHRYSLER 200 LIMITED 2016 RECALL BUT THEY SAID MY CAR DOES NOT QUALIFY - ??
VEHICLE IS TRYING TO STALL OUT WHILE DRIVING AND IN SITTING POSITION.ALWAYS HAPPENS RIGHT AFTER I RE-FUEL. IT STARTS JERKING, SOMETIMES IT IS A SLIGHT JERK BUT TODAY IT JERKED VERY HARD THAT IT REALLY SCARED ME. ALSO WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE IT STRUGGLES TO START UP. IT WILL CONTINUE TO NOT DRIVE RIGHT FOR A LITTLE BIT OF TIME AND THEN IT GOES BACK TO DRIVING FINE UNTIL I RE-FUEL AGAIN. IT STARTED ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND HAS NEVER STOPPED SINCE THEN. I HAVE LOOKED UP RECALLS FOR THIS ISSUE AND IT SHOWS I DON'T HAVE ONE. THIS REALLY NEEDS TO BE CHECKED OUT AND BECOME A RECALL
CAR LOSING POWER AND STOPPING. MESSAGE INDICATOR SAID PUT IN PARK. THIS HAPPEN ON THE ROAD AS I WAS DRIVING. THEN THE MESSAGE INDICATOR SAID SERVICE TRANSMISSION. ONCE THE MESSAGE LEFTBTHE SCREEN. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON.
VEHCILE HAS SEVERAL ERROR LIGHTS THAT COME AND GO. I CANNOT GET CHRYSLER DEALERS IN BREVARD, FLORIDA TO DO WARRANTY WORK. EVERYONE IS IN DANGER AS THE CAR IS NO LONGER SAFE. I HAVE BEGGED FOR TOW INS, RENTALS AND WARRANTY DIAGNOSES. I HAVE BEGGED FOR CHRYSLER TO SEND A TRAINED REP FROM OUT OF TOWN TO INVESTIGATE. THIS HAS GONE ON FOR YEARS, NOW THE BELOW DEALERSHIPS OWNS BOTH THE DEALERS IN MY REGION AND REFUSE TO DO WORK TO DIAGNOE PER WARRANTY AT EITHER. I HAD A FREE OIL CHANGE PACKAGE FROM CHRYSLER FROM A PREVIOUS SERVICE RELATED COMPLAINT. THE DEALER SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT, I GAVE THEM ALL MY INFO. I ALSO ORDERED AN EXPENSIVE PART TO HAVE INSTALLED, WHICH IS NONRETURNABLE. I PAID FOR AND PICKED UP PART. CHECKED MY CAR IN. THEN ROSS AND CRAIG, ALSO ED O'DONNELL I WAS TOLD WERE ALL TEXTED BY ROSS AND UPON CHECKING IN VEHICLE WAS TOLD "SORRY WE WILL NOT SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE OR INSTALL YOUR PART. WHILE IN MOTION THE VEHICLE WILL SHUT DOWN - STEERING WHEEL LOCKS, BRAKES DONT BRAKE, NO SENSOR LIGHTS. VEHICLE STARTS AFTER 30+ MINS BUT NO MECHANIC CAN LOCATE THE PROBLEM DUE TO NO SENSOR LIGHTS. THIS IS A MAJOR HEALTH ISSUE WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLS IN HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS AND CAN'T BE MOVED. AT THIS TIME, IT HAS HAPPENED ON 3 OCCASSIONS WITHIN A TWO WEEK SPAN.
INCIDENT HA HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. WHILE GOING IN TRAFFIC AT LOWER SPEEDS 25 TO 45MPH THE TRANSMISSION WILL NOT SHIFT WHEN YOU TRY TO ACCEL TO A HIGHER SPEED. WE HAVE TO SLOW SPEED DOWN AND TRY AGAIN TO ACCELERATE, MOST TIMES THIS WORKS.

INTERMITTENT POWER FAILURES IN MOTION CITY STREET
MY CAR IS STALLING OUT AFTER TAKE OFF, AND HESSITATES TO GET STARTED AGAIN. ITS BEEN DOING IT SINCE 1-6-18 AND TODAY IS 1-8-18. IT HAS A NEW BATTERY THAT I PUT IN IT.
I PURCHAESD A 2015 CHRYSLER 200 WITH LOW MILES ON IT. I HAVE HAD IT FOR A COUPLE MONTHS AND IT HAS STARTED SHUTTING OFF WHILE I AM DRIVING (IN MOTION). THIS IS VERY CONCERNING AS I LIVE IN A STATE WHERE WE HAVE SNOWY ICY CONDITIONS. MOST IMPORTANTLY A BABY. IT HAS HAPPENED A COUPLE OF TIMES BUT LIKE I SAID I HAVE ONLY HAD IT A COUPLE MONTHS. A COUPLE TIMES TOO MANY.
I HAVE HAD THIS CAR 3 MONTHS AND THE FOLLOWING THIS HAS HAPPEN NUMEROUS TIMES OVER 10 AND ALMOST COST ME MY LIFE ALONG WITH FAMILY MEMBERS. 1. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE THE ENGINE SHUTS OFF FOR NO REASON WITH NO WARNING LIGHTS. I MUST PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND PUT BRAKE ON TO RESTART CAR AND THE ENGINE JUST CONTINUE TO TURN OVER BEFORE IT CATCHES. THE VEHICLE HAS STALLED/SHUT -OFF ON ME GOING OVER A RAILROAD TRACK WITH ME AND MY GRANDKIDS IN THE CAR. I AM SO BLESSED NO TRAIN WAS COMING. 2. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WILL ALSO SHIFT UNEXPECTED TO NEUTRAL. 3. WHEN I GO TO ACCELERATE THE CAR WILL HESITATE AND JERK AND ACT LIKE IT MAY BE STUCK IN BETWEEN GEARS. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THE SALESPERSON DROVE THE CAR AND IT HAPPEN TO HIM AS HE WAS DRIVING AND CAME BACK AND SAID I CAN'T TELL YOU THE PROBLEM BUT YOU DO HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM IT SHUT OFF ON HIM AS HE WAS DRIVING IT ON A MAJOR ROAD. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO A SHOP LEFT IT OVER NIGHT AND THE MECHANIC STATES YOU HAVE MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR. IT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. ALL THIS PROBLEM WITH THE CAR HAS BEEN WHILE THE CAR WAS IN MOTION ON CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAY. ALL OF THIS STARTED JANUARY 4, 2019. THE 2015 CHRYSLER 200 IS A DEATH TRAP AND LEMON!

Chrysler/fiat has issued a TSB recommending the wiring harness inside seat to be replaced. This should be a safety recall not a TSB since it has to do with airbags. It's a safety hazard. This needs to be done before someone is seriously injured or dies.
I'VE HAD TO HAVE THE THERMOSTAT REPLACED TWICE WITHIN THE TIME I'VE OWNED THIS VEHICLE. ONCE UNDER WARRANTY AT LOW MILEAGE ONCE AT 58,600 MILES I'VE NEVER HAD ISSUES WITH REPLACING THE THERMOSTAT IN THIS SHORT FREQUENCY OF TIME. I'M HAVING TO PAY OVER $400 TO REPLACE A THERMOSTAT WHICH WAS ALREADY REPLACE BY CHRYSLER. AN INVESTIGATION INTO FAULTY CHRYSLER PARTS NEEDS TO BE OPENED AND A RECALL ISSUED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START AND THE "ENGINE STALLED" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 199,000.
THE CAR STALLS AND SHUTS OFF ANY TIME THE GAS TANK IS FILLED UP. THE TYPE OF GAS DOES NOT PREVENT THE SITUATION. THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID THE ISSUE IS TO NOT FILL THE TANK COMPLETELY. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN RIGHT AWAY 100% OF THE TIME. IT'S HAPPENED AFTER I'VE PULLED AWAY FROM THE GAS PUMP AND REENTERED THE HIGHWAY. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, I HAVE TO PLACE VEHICLE IN PARK AND RESTART IT. AGAIN THIS IS 100% OF THE TIME WHEN I FILL MY GAS TANK. TODAY, I WAS ALMOST HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHEN MY CAR STALLED. I"M VERY AFRAID. I'M USING TODAY'S DATE BUT THIS HAS BEEN A REOCCURRING PROBLEM.

I BOUGHT A CAR AT AN AUCTION THAT HAS TWO OUTSTANDING RECALLS. I WENT TO TWO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND BOTH WANTED ME TO PAY OUT OF POCKET.
