AIR BAG SERVICE LIGHT IS ON AND THEY WONT DEPLOY IF IN WRECK IT CAME ON ONE DAY AND TOOK IT IN AND SAID 3000 TO FIX CHRYSLER SAID HAD TO MANY MILES FOR THEM TO FIX IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN FOR ME AND MY FAMILY
AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON FOR NO REASON.. VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN IN ACCIDENT TO CAUSE THIS..
WHEN ACCELERATING CAR SHUDDERS/ WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED AT SPEEDS OF 20+ CAR SHAKES. TRANSMISSION RACES ITSELF GOING UP AND DOWN HILL HAVING TROUBLE SWITCHING GEARS IN AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. TROUBLE SHIFTING GEARS. CAR HAS SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING /SWITCHED TO NEUTRAL BY ITSELF.
AS I AM COMING TO A STOP CAR WILL SHUTS OFF.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF ENGINE POWER WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE AND ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED AS A THROTTLE BODY FAILURE. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST BECAUSE THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 44,952. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
MY CAR CUTS OFF EVERY TIME I PULL UP TO A LIGHT, IT TELLS YOU TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND RESTART YOUR CAR
WHEN I'M DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IT LOSES POWER N STALLS N THEN TAKES OFF N DOES IT AGAIN LATER DOWN THE ROAD OR AT TAKE OFF PLAT A STOP SIGN DOES THE SAME THING
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE THE DASHBOARD/INSTRUMENT CLUSTER KEEPS ON FLASHING IN AND OUT, STAYING OFF FOR AT LEASE 5 SECONDS AT A TIME. AT NIGHT THE HEADLIGHTS ALSO FLICKER ON AND OFF. THE CAR ALSO TENDS TO PICK UP SPEED WHILE BRAKING. LETS TALK ABOUT THE BRAKES, THE BRAKES ABSOLUTELY SUCK, THEY DON'T HOLD PROPERLY AT ALL. WHILE COMING TO A STOP I OFTEN HAVE TO SINK MY FOOT INTO THE PEDDLE AND GIVE MYSELF EXTRA FEET TO STOP.
THIS IS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM. THE CAR RPM'S GO UP , BUT THE CAR IS NOT ACCELERATING IN THE MANNER IN WHICH IT SHOULD WHEN TRAVELING 35 MILES OWE HOUR. WHEN THIS HAPPENED TODAY THE NUMBER 2 WAS DISPLAYED NEAR THE D (DRIVE) ICON ON THE DASH. THE CAR ALSO MAKES A LOUD THUMPING NOISE( COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE CAR) ON OCCASION WHEN GOING ABOUT 35 MILES PER HOUR. I HAVE 28K MILES ON THE VEHICLE AND AN EXTENDED 7 YEAR WARRANTY. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP-STEVENS CREEK CHRYSLER . THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT RECREATE THE PROBLEM AND CHARGED ME $200. THIS ISSUE HAS HAPPENED 4 TIMES BEFORE I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND ONE TIME AFTER IT WAS IN THE DEALERSHIP LAST WEEK. THE VEHICLE WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP ON MAY 24, 2018.
I WAS TOLD BY WHEELWORKS THAT MY TIRES WERE CUPPING BECAUSE THE FRONT STRUTS AND BACK SHOCKS WERE BAD. THERE IS A VISIBLE LEAK IN THE LEFT FRONT STRUT AND THE LEFT BACK SHOCK. THE VEHICLE HAS 28,,700 MILES. THE FRONT TIRE WAS MAKING A NOISE AFTER THE TIRES WERE ROTATED AT THE DEALERSHIP DURING AN OIL CHANGE
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHILE IDLING AT A STOP SIGN, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND 'SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF AND RESTART' WAS DISPLAYED. WHEN RESTARTING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT HEARD ABNORMAL NOISES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN UNKNOWN LOCAL DEALER WHERE A DIAGNOSTIC TESTING WAS COMPLETED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 74,710.
MY SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT KEPT COMING ON SO I TOOK IT TO CHRYSLER WHERE I WAS TOLD A WIRE HAD HAD PROBABLY BECOME DISCONNECTED. THEY SAID ALL I HAD TO DO WAS MAKE SURE THE ENDS WERE CONNECTED. IT STOPPED FOR A WHILE. THEN A COUPLE MONTHS LATER THE SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT KEPT COMING ON AGAIN. I FIGURED IT WAS THE PLUG AND DIDN'T PAY MUCH ATTENTION SINCE I WAS TOLD NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT. UNTIL MY AIRBAGS EXPLODED IN MY FACE ONE DAY AS I WAS LEAVING WORK. I SLOWED DOWN AND WAS HIT IN THE FACE, CHEST AND LEGS BY THE AIRBAGS. I THEN HIT THE BACK OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE FRONT AIRBAGS WENT OFF ON BOTH SIDES OF THE CAR, THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR AIRBAG WENT OFF AS DID THE BACK DRIVERS SIDE AIRBAG..I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME. FROM EVERYTHING I HAVE READ THE OTHER AIRBAGS SHOULDN'T HAVE DEPLOYED. THE COPS DIDN'T SEEM TO BELIEVE THE AIRBAGS WENT OFF ON THEIR OWN BUT I WASN'T GIVEN A TICKET. I KNOW THEY WENT OFF BEFORE THE WRECK. I THINK THIS SHOULD BE LOOKED AT. *DT*JB
AT APPROXIMATELY 1002 HOURS THE DRIVER PULLED OFF OF THE RAMP FROM HWY 41 TURNING RIGHT ONTO HWY 60 WEST. WHILE ON THE RAMP OF HWY 41 THE VEHICLE APPEARED TO BE EXERTING BLACK SMOKE FROM WHAT APPEARED TO BE UNDER THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE. DRIVER PULLED OVER IMMEDIATELY AFTER SEEING BLACK SMOKE. DRIVER THEN TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE AND EXITED. DRIVER THEN CALLED MSG URBAN (RRB NCOIC) TO INFORM HER THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SMOKING. AFTER EXITING AND WALKING AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE AT APPROXIMATELY 1005 HOURS DRIVER OBSERVED THE VEHICLE START ON FIRE AND PROCEEDED TO CALL 911. AT APPROXIMATELY 1008 HOURS A SLINGER POLICE OFFICER ARRIVED AT THE SCENE, ALONG WITH A WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF AND THE SLINGER FIRE DEPARTMENT. DRIVER WAS TRAVELING AT A SPEED OF 8 OR BELOW DUE TO PULLING OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED IN DAYLIGHT, WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE SUNNY AND FAIR.
MY CAR HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT. IT US UP TO DATE ON MAINTENANCE,AS OF YESTERDAY IT TOOK A WHILE TO TURN ON IN THE MORNING. AROUND 4:54PM ON 5/22/18 THE CAR DID NOT WANT TO START. 5/23/18 AT 8:00AM IT TURNED ON BUT TOOK A WHILE AGAIG. SO I TURNED IT OFF AND TURNED IT BACK ON BUT THIS TIME THE ENGINE LIGHT,PARKING LIGHT, AND GEAR DIDNT WANT TO SWITCH SHIFT.
MY VEHICLE CONSTANTLY TURNS OFF AND ABRUPTLY STOP WHILE DRIVING, WHILE COMING TO A STOP AND/OR WHILE UP IN SPEED. WHEN IT TURNS OFF STATED SELECT DESIRED GEAR, ALL LIGHTS COME ON. TRANSMISSION, ENIGINE, RED Z, BATTERY LIGHT, AND WON'T START IMMEDIATELY. AIRBAG LIGHT HAS BEEN ON SINCE I PURCHASED CAR. WON'T GO AWAY. CAR BEEPS WHEN TURNING.
'TAKATA RECALL' AFTER THE 2 INITIAL RECALLS, PARK BRAKE CAME ON WHILE DRIVING AND TRANSMISSION WON'T SHIFT OUT OF NEUTRAL. SAME ISSUE AS PREVIOUSLY RECALLED BUT STILL NOT THE FIX!!!!
TAKATA RECALL WHEN I DRIVE MY CAR (ESPECIALLY ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN ACCELERATING) IT SEEMS TO NOT WANT TO SHIFT INTO GEAR. IT MAKES A WEIRD SOUND LIKE IT'S TRYING BUT IT DOESN'T SHIFT UNTIL I HIT ABOUT 62 MPH. ONE TIME I WAS DRIVING AND STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT AND WHEN I TRIED ACCELERATING MY GEAR WENT ALL THE WAY INTO THE RED AND I HAD TO PULL OVER SHUT MY CAR OFF AND COMPLETELY RESTART IT. ALSO SOMETIMES WHEN I BRAKE, IT SEEMS LIKE IT ACCELERATES FIRST AND THEN SLOWS DOWN. I'VE TRIED HAVING SOMEONE LOOK AT IT BUT IT JUST SO HAPPENS IT DIDN'T DO IT WHEN SOMEONE TEST DROVE IT. IT DOES IT 9/10 TIMES FOR ME THOUGH. I RECEIVED A LETTER ABOUT A RECALL BUT I CAN'T FIND IT WHICH IS THE ONLY REASON I HAD LOOKED INTO THIS SITUATION MORE. IT SEEMED LIKE MANY CARS OF MY MAKE MODEL AND YEAR WERE DOING EXACTLY WHAT I HAD BEEN TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO THE BODY SHOP HOWEVER WHEN I PUT MY VIN IN TO CHECK, IT SAID MY CAR HAD ZERO OPEN RECALLS. I STILL WANTED TO MAKE A REPORT JUST IN CASE IT HAD BEEN MISSED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL WITHOUT WARNING AND THEN STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AFTER APPROXIMATELY FIVE ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V529000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
LAST YEAR HAD THE CAR IN DO TO THE TRANSMISSION THE SHOP REPROGRAMMED THE COMPUTER. LAST WEEK WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WAS GOING 55 AND SEEMED LIKE IT QUIT MOVING THEN THE MOTOR RPMS KEPT GOING UP. FINALLY WE PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND STOPPED IT. RESTARTED IT AND IT SOUNDED VERY ROUGH AT FIRST THEN SETTLED DOWN. WAS ABLE TO DRIVE HOME 5 MINUTES AWAY. NEXT DAY COULDN'T START THE CAR. TOWED IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THE MOTOR IS SHOT. THERE WAS A RECALL ON IT FOR SOMETHING THAT I NEVER WAS INFORMED ABOUT.
I PURCHASED THIS 2015 200 CHRYSLER JANUARY 1, 2016 FROM ZEIGLER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF DOWNERS. ADDRESS 2311 OGDEN AVE, DOWNERS GROVE ,IL . LEADING UP TO THE ENGINE GOING OUT THE CAR WOULD JUST RANDOMLY CUT OFF WHILE IN MOTION AND ALSO MAKING TURNS. I TOOK IT BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP AND THEY STATED THAT THE ENGINE WENT OUT. ON JUNE 14,2016 THAT'S WHEN I GOT AN ENGINE REPLACED. I ASK IF IT WAS NEW OR USED AND THEY ASSURED ME THAT IT WAS A NEW ENGINE. HOWEVER KEEPING UP WITH OIL CHANGES, MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC AND WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED A TUNE UP DONE. SO I GOT MY SPARK PLUGS CHANGED. AFTER THAT THE CAR WOULD JUST CUT OFF WHILE IN MOTION AND ALSO TURNING. I TRIED DRIVING THE CAR TO WORK WHILE TURNING IT ON WHENEVER IT CUTS OFF. THE BRAKES GOT SO TIGHT ON ME THAT I HAD TO USE BOTH FEET TO STOP THE VEHICLE. I GOT THE CAR TOWED TO A CAR SHOP AND THEY STATED THAT THIS CAR HAD TO BE LOOKED AT BY A DEALERSHIP.SO I GOT THE CAR TOWED TO THE NEAREST CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP AND THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS 4 THINGS WRONG WITH THIS CAR. THEN CALLED ME BACK AND STATED THAT THIS CAR NEEDED AN ENGINE. THIS CAR IS UNDER A HUNDRED THOUSAND MILES AND WITH THIS PROBLEM OCCURRING AGAIN FOR THE SECOND TIME. LOOKING FOR HELP AND ANSWERS.
I LIVE IN ARIZONA AND WENT OUT TO MY CAR TO LEAVE WORK YESTERDAY. IT WAS 101 DEGREES OUTSIDE AND THE TEMPERATURE READING INSIDE THE CAR WAS 110. WHEN I TURNED THE CAR OVER TO LEAVE THERE WAS AN ALERT SAYING THAT THE AIR BAGS NEED TO BE SERVICED. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE. IT WENT OFF AS THE CAR WAS COOLING DOWN BUT THEN CAME BACK ON THEN OFF. THE TEMP WENT TO 101 AND HAS NOT COME ON AGAIN AS OF TODAY. I AM CONCERNED THAT IT CAN EITHER BE THE SENSOR GETTING HOT OR THE ACTUAL AIR BAGS. THE RISK COULD BE THAT THE AIR BAGS COULD DEPLOY WHEN I AM NOT DRIVING OR WHILE I AM DRIVING. OR NOT DEPLOY AT ALL IF I WAS EVER IN AN ACCIDENT.

THE CONTACT CALLED DUPAGE CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (433 E N AVE, GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL 60139, (630) 446-1400), BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 74,239.
THE SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM LIGHT RANDOMLY CAME ON. I TOOK IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP'S SHOP FOR DIAGNOSIS. THEY TELL ME THAT A SENSOR UNDER THE SEAT HAS SHORTED AND THAT IT WILL REQUIRE AN ENTIRE NEW WIRING HARNESS AND A NEW AIRBAG WHICH WILL COST OVER $2,000.
WHILE DRIVING MY CAR RANDOMLY SHUTS OFF. ITS TAKES A FEW TRIES BEFORE I CAN GET IT TO CRANK UP AGAIN. TERRIBLE CAR!!
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR RANDOMLY SHOTS OFF. THE OTHER DAY MY WIFE WAS DRIVING IT IN THE FREEWAY AND SHE ALMOST GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT. WE DID TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND WE LEAVE THE CAR THERE FOR ABOUT TWO DAYS AND THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING. AFTER THAT THE CAR WAS WORKING JUST FINE BUT TWO DAYS AGO IT HAPPEN AGAIN WHILE TAKING MY DAUGHTER TO DAY CARE. I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY RECALLS ON THE ENGINEN, TRANSSMISION OR SOMETHING. THE CAR STALLS WHEN PRESSING THE GAS. ONCE IT FINALLY CATCHES IT'S A HARD JERK IN THE CAR. HAVE TAKEN TO HAVE INSPECTED BUT SERVICE STATION SAYS IT'S FINE.
I HAVE A FILE WITH A COMPLETE TIMELINE WITH THE INCIDENTS UPON REQUEST. I AM NOW BEGINNING TO REALLY LOOSE ANY FAITH IN THE CHRYSLER PRODUCT AND THE CORPORATE OFFICE. STILL UNDER POWER TRAIN WARRANTY. BUT THIS LAST RECALL HAS THROWN ME OVER THE EDGE OF CONSIDERING NEW COMPANY. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH LOCAL DEALERSHIP CHRYSLER FOR THE SAFETY RECALL THAT IS STILL OPEN. THEY COULDN'T GET ME IN FOR 3 WEEKS. I MAKE APPOINTMENT BC MY CAR KEEPS LOOSING OT POWER AND DIES OR ALMOST DIES/.MY CAR LOST ALL OF ITS POWER WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY AT A CONSTANT MOVING PACE WITH OTHER CARS. MY CAR LOOSES ALL POWER AND I CANT EVEN STEER THE STEERING WHEEL AND I WORK INTO THE MIDDLE LANE. WHERE FREIGHT LINER ALMOST HITS ME IN THE [XXX] END AND SWERVES TO MISS ME AND OVERCORRECTS AND WINDS UP ALMOST GOING OVER THE BRIDGE WITH A CONCRETE WALL SAVING HIM FROM ENDING UP ON THE LOWER FREEWAY. ONCE WE GOT THROUGH THE SHOCK OF WHAT JUST HAPPENED. I TRY TO GET CAR TO START. IT WONT EVEN KICK OVER AND I CANT GET IT OT IF NEUTRAL. I CALL CHRYSLER CORPORATE BC IF I COULD HAVE GOTTEN THE RECALL FIXED SOONER THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. THEY TOW TO CHRYSLER AND WE WAIT 2 MORE WEEKS WHILE THEY GET TO THE CAR. MEANWHILE I AM HAVING TO PAY EVERYDAY FOR A RENTAL CAR. WHICH WAS OVER $500 AND I AM A SINGLE DIVORCED PARENT OF 2 CHILDREN. 1 CHILD RECENTLY PASSED FROM A RARE DISEASE AT AGE 7 AND MY ONLY SON JUST STARTED COLLEGE IN CONWAY AND I AM SO PROUD AND WANT TO SUPPORT HIM IN THIS MOVE. AT THE END OF 2 WEEKS I GO TO PICK UP THE CAR AND I AM BILLED FOR 300 FOR A NEW BATTERY AND DIAGNOSTIC TEST. I ASK ABOUT THE SAFETY RECALL & WHY IS WAS NOT DONE WHEN THAT IS THE XAVCRT REASON WE MADE THE APPOINTMENT? THEY OVERLOOKED THAT AND NEEDED TO GO DO THAT. THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE COST ME MORE THAN $1000. WITH TIME I HAD TO LEAVE WORK AND ALL THEIR CALLS TO THE CHRYSLER . MY VEHICLE REAR ENDED A STOPPED PICK UP TRUCK AT APPROXIMATELY 35-40MPH. PRIOR TO AND DURING THE ACCIDENT, THE FORWARD COLLISION WARNING DIDN'T ACTIVATE IN TIME TO HELP STOP THE CAR AS WELL AS THE AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED THROUGHOUT THE ACCIDENT.
AIR BAG LIGHT TURNS ON RANDOMLY WHEN I DRIVE. MORE IF SOMEONE OR SOMETHING IS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. MY RADIO ALSO DOESN'T CONNECT TO USB FOR MY PHONE NOR CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH AT TIMES. WHEN I TURN THE CAR ON 1/10 TIMES THE SCREEN DOESN'T TURN ON.
SOMETIME WHEN PUTTING CAR IN PARK IT WILL TELL YOU IT IS NOT IN PARK AND WILL NOT LET YOU TURN CAR OFF UNTIL YOU SHIFT IT INTO ANOTHER GEAR AND THEN SHIFT BACK INTO PARK. RADIO SOMETIMES WILL NOT COME ON.
MY CAR KEEPS SHIFTING INTO NEUTRAL CANT EXCEL THE GAS WHEN IT DOES THIS. AS I AM DRIVING ALONG PUT FOOT ON GAS AND DOESN'T DO ANYTHING THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN SHIFTS BACK INTO DRIVING. I HAVE A 2015 CHRYSLER 200 S I HAVE SEARCHED THE RECALL DATABASE AND IT SAYS ALL RECALLS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED. THE VEHICLE HAS HAD ISSUES SINCE I HAVE BOUGHT IT AND TO NO SATISFACTION HAS ANYTHING BEEN COMPLETED. LIGHTS ON MY DASHBOARD ARE FLASHING AND THE SCREEN IS FLASHING DIFFERENT SYSTEMS ARE MALFUNCTIONING. IT SITS IN MY DRIVEWAY I AM AFRAID TO MOVE IT ALTHOUGH NOW IT SAYS IT HAS A MISFIRE AND THE SERVICE AWD LIGHT IS ON. WHEN I DID DRIVE IT THE SERVICE TRANSMISSION LIGHT COMES ON AND THE CAR WILL NOT DRIVE PAST 1500 RPM.

RECALL # S55 NHTSA 16V529 MY CAR MIL LIGHT CAME ON LAST NIGHT 04/20/2018 WHILE ON THE FREEWAY DOING 70 MILES, STATING THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE SERVICED. ONCE I GOT OF THE FREEWAY TURNING RIGHT ON THE STREET THE CAR ACTED AS IF IT DIDN'T WANT TO GO, DRIVING AT A VERY SLOW SPEED AROUND 40 MILES. WHEN I CAME TO THE LIGHT TO STOP THE CAR SEEMED AS IF IT WAS GOING TO CUT OFF, IDLED LOW AND WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN FOR ME TO GO THE CAR WAS STILL A THE DRIVING SPEED OF NO MORE THAN 40 MILES. ONCE I GOT TO MY DESTINATION, I INFORMED MY FIANC OF THE ISSUE I WAS HAVING. WE WENT BACK OUTSIDE AFTER READING THE CARS MANUAL AROUND 10-15 MINUETS AFTER. HE STARTED THE CAR AND THE TRANSMISSION MESSAGE WAS GONE BUT THE MIL LIGHT WAS STILL ON. HE PLACED THE CAR IN DRIVE AND MOVED IT FORWARD AND THEN IN REVERSE TO BACK IT UP. THE LIGHT WAS STILL ON BUT HE TOLD ME THAT BASED ON THAT THE TRANSMISSION DIDN'T SEEM TO HAVE ANY ISSUES. THE NEXT MORNING ON 04/21/2018 , I TRIED TO AUTO START MY CAR, GOT IN THE CAR AND ON THE DASH READ DISABLED SO THE CAR DIDN'T AUTO START. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED THAT OTHER THAN WHEN THE CAR IS LOW ON FUEL YOU CAN'T AUTO START THE CAR AND MY CAR HAD A FULL TANK OF GAS WHEN I TRIED STARTING IT THIS MORNING. SO WHEN I STARTED THE CAR MANUALLY IT NO LONGER SHOWED THE MIL LIGHT AND WHILE DRIVING ON THE STREET AND FREEWAY BACK HOME IT SEEMED TO BE DRIVING AND SHIFTING FINE. I HAVE NOTICED THAT MY CAR ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING HAS A DELAYED TIME WHEN SHIFTING TO PICK UP SPEED AND THIS IS AFTER THE CAR HAS BEEN RUNNING FOR A WHILE AND I'VE BEEN DRIVING FOR SOME DISTANCE. THEN ONCE IT SHIFTS IT GIVES A JERK THEN IT PICKS UP SPEED.

WEVE TAKEN IT INTO THE SHOP MULTIPLE TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION. CONCERNED ABOUT DIVERS SAFETY! WE BOUGHT THIS CAR USED LAST YEAR (2018) AND HAVE STARTED HAVING TROUBLE ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER. PRETTY SURE THE PREVIOUS OWNERS TRADED IT IN FOR THIS REASON.

WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE RPM METER DISPLAYED INCORRECTLY, THE CRUISE CONTROL INDEPENDENTLY ENGAGED, THE DIGITAL COMPASS DISPLAYED THE INCORRECT DIRECTION OF TRAVEL, AND THE GPS FAILED TO OPERATE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND REPAIRS. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED BECAUSE THE CONTACT FELT HE WOULD NOT BE TREATED FAIRLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,000.
LIGHTNING BOLT LIGHT COMES ON AND CAR WON'T ACCELERATE MORE THAN 20 MILES PER HOUR WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY

WHEN THE VEHICLE STARTS TO SLIP JUST A LITTLE BIT WHILE GOING SLOWER SPEEDS THE PARKING BREAK AUTOMATICALLY ENGAGES. THIS HAS CAUSED MY VEHICLE TO GET STUCK IN THE SNOW AND MUD MULTIPLE TIMES, AS WHERE HAD IT NOT HAPPENED AND I COULD HAVE KEPT THE VEHICLE MOVING I WOULD NOT HAVE GOT STUCK. I'M WORRIED THE PARKING BREAK MAY TRY TO ENGAGE WHILE GOING FASTER SPEEDS AND STARTING TO HYDROPLANE/SLIDE/ETC. THIS CAN CAUSE HUGE LIFE THREATENING ACCIDENTS IF IT WERE TO HAPPEN. THE MOST RECENT TIME IS APRIL 17TH IN A LITTLE BIT OF MUD. BUT HAPPENED APPROCIMATELY 10 TIMES OVER THIS PAST WINTER ALONE. EVEN THOUGH THERE WASN'T A CRASH, I DID GET STUCK AND NEEDED HELP TO GET OUT.

TRANSMISSION HAS A HARSH SHIFT & SLIPS AT TIMES. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER 4 TIMES WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT. CHRYSLER'S CORPORATE WON'T ADDRESS THE COMPLAINT BECAUSE THERE'S NO TROUBLE CODES OR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I HAVE LESS THAN 3000 MILES BEFORE MY WARRANTY EXPIRES.

THE RADIO SCREEN FREEZES ALL THE TIME. THE RADIO GOES IN AND OUT ALL THE TIME. THIS PAST WINTER, I COULD NOT USE MY HEAT FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME BEFORE THE LIGHTS WOULD START FLASHING ABOUT THE THROTTLE, IT IS VERY SCARY WHEN DRIVING AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE DASH BOARD STARTS FLASHING.
I HAD JUST LEFT MY HOUSE AND WAS DRIVING 25 MPH WHEN MY CHRYSLER 200 CUT OFF. THE SCREEN READ, SHIFT TO PARK TO START. I SHIFTED INTO PARK AND TRIED TO RESTART THE CAR BUT IT DIDNT START. THEN I WAITED ABOUT 30 SECONDS AND TRIED TO START IT AGAIN AND IT STARTED. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I HAD THIS PROBLEM. EVERYTIME THE CAR SHUT OFF, IT WAS AFTER DRIVING ONLY A FEW MINUTES AT 25 MPH. I ALMOST GOT HIT BY ANOTHER CAR BOTH TIMES AND IT WAS PRETTY SCARY BECAUSE I OFTEN DRIVE WITH MY THREE YR OLD. THE CAR IS A LEMON AND CHRYSLER SHOULD GIVE EVERYBODY THEIR MONEY BACK OR MOST OF IT. CHRYSLER IS PLAYING WITH PEOPLES LIVES AND RECALLING IT DOESNT SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

TAKATA RECALL: MY CAR HAD A RECALL ON IT FOR THE TRANSAXLE WIRE HARNESS. I TOOK IT IN TO GET FIXED AND MY CAR HAS BEEN STALLING OUT. IT HAD LOSS OF MOTIVE POWER. IT SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE EVERY DAY AND THE RECALL WAS SUPPOSE TO FIX IT. IT HAS ALMOST CAUSED A FEW ACCIDENTS.
