SIMILAR TO MANY OTHER PEOPLE'S ISSUES. I GET FUEL AND THEN WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WILL STALL. HAPPENS FOR A FEW DAYS AFTER I GET GAS NOT EVEN A COMPLETELY FULL TANK. IT BECOMES A VERY UNSAFE CONDITION BECAUSE I LOOSE POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES WHEN IT STALLS. WHY IS CHRYSLER NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS AS IT CLEARLY IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT THEY MUST BE AWARE OF. I WAS DRIVING IN THE FAST LANE ON THE INTERSTATE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR BEGAN TO SHUT DOWN. IT TOOK ALL MY MIGHT TO MOVE THE CAR FROM THE FAST LANE TO THE MEDIAN, WHICH WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE SLOW LANE. I COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN KILLED DUE TO THE SPEEDS OF THE CARS AROUND ME.THIS WAS THE MOST FRIGHTENING SITUATION I'VE EVER BEEN IN!! I AM NOT DUE FOR AN OIL CHANGE UNTIL NEXT MONTH. WHEN I START THE CAR ITS SOUNDS FINE AFTER A FEW MINUTES IT SOUNDS LIKE WATER RUNNING THOUGH THE DASH ON DRIVER SIDE, VEY COMPLICATED TO EXPLAIN. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT IT LAST ABOUT 2/3 MINUTES.

WAS DRIVING NORMALLY WHEN CAR HESITATED THEN STOPPED. CAR WOULD START AGAIN ABT 20 MIN LATER. DEALER CHECKED WITH COMPUTER FOUND NO PROB. TOOK CAR BACK. ABT 1 MONTH LATER REOCCURED. WAS TOWED TO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP THAT ALSO COULND'T FIND PROBLEM BUT CLEANED HEAVY CARBON FROM THROTTLE, TEST DRIVES INDICATED OK,ANOTHER MONTH SAME PROBLEEM, DEALER COULD ONLY FIND LOW BATTERY, CHGD IT AND WE DROVE AGAIN, OK FOR 1 MONTH AND 1 WEEK, CAR STALLED AGAIN. TOOK TO 3RD DEALER AND ARE AWAITING DIAGNOSIS.

THE CAR RIDES SMOOTH ON GOOD ROADS BUT ON ROUGH ROADS IT SOUNDS LIKE EVERYTHING IS FALLING OFF UNDERNEATH OF THE CAR. I HAVE HAD THE BUSHINGS REPLACED AND TIE RODS REPLACED. THE FRONT END SHOP AND MY MECHANIC HAVE BOTH TRIED TO FIND WHAT WAS MAKING ALL THE NOISE AND BANGING AND THEY CANNOT FIND ANYTHING THAT IS LOOSE WHEN IT IS ON THE LIFT. I LOVE THE CAR BUT THE NOISES ARE IRRITATING AND EMBARRASSING TO THOSE THAT RIDE WITH ME. COULD NOT GET THE APPROX. DATE TO WORK, IT BEEN GOING ON FOR SEVERAL YEARS HELP!! *TR
STALLING AFTER FILL UP AND UNDER ACCELERATION. CAR STALLS OUT AND ALL POWER SYSTEMS FAIL WITHIN MINUTES AFTER REFUELING TO A FULL TANK. CAR IS IN MOTION AT ANY SPEED AND HAS NEARLY CAUSED TWO REAR END CRASHES FROM CARS BEHIND IT WHEN IT SUDDENLY STOPS AND THE POWER STEERING AND BRAKES AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS SHUT OFF. THIS ALSO HAPPENS DURING ACCELERATION AT 1700 RPM AT ANY TIME. CAR IS ALWAYS IN MOTION. CAR CAN BE RESTARTED AGAIN WITHIN A FEW SECONDS TO 5 MINUTES LATER. PROBLEM STARTED AT 130,000 MILES. POSSIBLE ISSUE WITH THE GAS TANK, FUEL LINE, FILTER OR STUCK VALVE. MECHANICS SAY THERE IS NO FIX AND TO NOT FILL UP THE GAS TANK.
THIS HAS HAPPENED FOUR TIMES IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS. I REFUEL THE CAR. THE CAR STARTS FINE. LEAVING THE GAS STATION I SLOW DOWN BEFORE ENTERING TRAFFIC. THE ENGINE STALLS. I RESTART THE ENGINE FINE. I PULL OUT OF THE GAS STATION AND IF I MAKE A LEFT TURN, AND APPLY THE BRAKES AFTER ENTERING THE TURN, THE CAR STALLS. THE CAR ALWAYS RESTARTS FINE. HOWEVER, THE CAR WILL THEN STALL AT AN IDLE CONDITION, AS WHEN WAITING FOR A LIGHT TO TURN GREEN. AFTER A FEW RESTARTS, OR PROLONGED DRIVING, THE CONDITION GOES AWAY. HOWEVER, IT SCARES MY WIFE SILLY. I JUST READ THE NHTSA ACTION NUMBER PE13016 AND I AM TAKING THIS CAR TO LINWOOD CHRYSLER THIS TUESDAY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE. CHANGED BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR. TODAY 5/11/15, WHILE DRIVING I PUT A/C ON AND CAR SHUT OFF. GOT CAR HOME AND ANALYZED PROBLEM. WHILE ENGINE IS RUNNING CAR IDLES LOW THEN SHUTS OFF. HOWEVER WHEN A/C IS ON OR OFF CAR SHUTS OFF. ANY RECALLS? VERY FRUSTRATED!

THE DEALER DID NOT GIVE A SPECIFIC DATE FOR WHEN THE PARTS WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND COULD NOT PROVIDE AN ESTIMATED DATE FOR WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD RECEIVE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
CAR HAD BEEN RUNNING FINE. ALL ROUTINE MAINTENANCE DONE REGULARLY. CAME HOME TUESDAY NIGHT. ATTEMPTED TO START CAR NEXT MORNING WOULD CRANK BUT NOT TURN OVER. CAR WAS TOWED TO SHOP AND MECHANIC ADVISED NO COMPRESSION ON #3 CYLINDER. ENGINE NEEDS TO BE REBUILT. I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET, GOING 25 MPH WHEN I HEARD A KNOCKING SOUND, I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING I HAD HIT BUT, IT WASN'T. I KEPT DRIVING FOR ABOUT 5 BLOCKS WHEN IT OCCURRED AGAIN. I PULLED INTO A SERVICE STATION AND THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS MY TIE RODS. I CONTACTED A MECHANIC AND HE TOLD ME THAT ITS WAS THE TIE RODS. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM IN ALL THE YEARS I HAVE HAD MY CAR, BUT THIS IS A FIRST. NOT SURE IF THIS IS UNDER A RECALL OR IF ANYONE ELSE IS EXPERIENCING THIS, BUT IT CAN BE FRIGHTENING. *TR

AFTER REFUELING, THE CAR STARTED AND THEN DIED. I RESTARTED AND THEN PULLED AWAY. IT DIED AGAIN AT THE TWO FOLLOWING STOPS. IT THEN DIED WHILE DRIVING DOWN A HILL AT 15 MPH. ALL OF THIS OCCURRED WITHIN 2 MILES OF REFUELING. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED FOLLOWING EACH EVENT. AFTER PARKING THE CAR FOR SEVERAL HOURS THE PROBLEM WAS GONE. A SIMILAR EPISODE HAPPENED THE NEXT TIME I REFUELED AS WELL. *TR
VEHICLE STALLS REPEATEDLY AFTER FILLING UP. IN REFERENCE TO PE13016, THE ACTION REFERS TO CARS FROM MODEL YEARS 2005 AND 2006. YET, THE FINAL INVESTIGATION RESULTS ONLY INCLUDE THE 2006 MODEL YEAR? 2005 CARS ARE ALSO AFFECTED. THIS IS WELL DOCUMENTED NOT ONLY IN COMPLAINTS LISTED HERE BUT ALL OVER IN INTERNET FORUMS. YOU KNOW THIS IS A PROBLEM, CHRYSLER KNOWS IT IS A PROBLEM THUS A RECALL OF THE MODEL YEAR 2006. DO THE RIGHT THING AND RECALL MODEL YEAR 2005 BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION AS WHEN THE VEHCLE DIES YOU LOSE YOUR POWER BRAKES, YOUR POWER STEERING, AND YOU ARE A SITTING DUCK. RECALL THE 2005'S AND FIX THIS LIFE THREATENING PROBLEM. *JS
