I WAS DRIVING THE CAR FROM WORK I MADE A LEFT TURN ONTO THE STREET THAT LEADS ME TO MY HOUSE THE VEHICLE STOPPED I TRIED TO MAKE IT START BACK UP NOTHING HAPPENED. I CALLED THE TOW PLACE TO HAVE IT TOWED TO CHRYSLER THEY TOOK A LOOK AT IT THE NEXT DAY SAYING THE ENGINE HAS SEIZED IT NEEDS A NEW ENGINE.

THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A CONCRETE PILLAR. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. STARTED CAR THE NEXT DAY AFTER FUELING CAR THE NIGHT BEFORE AT GAS STATION ON THE CORNER FROM MY HOME IT STARTED RIDING REAL SLOW IT MAKING FUNNY NOISE WHEN IT STARTED RIDING BETTER,BUT GOT IN THE CAR THE NEXT DAY NO START CAR WAS TAKEN TO 2 MECHANIC SHOP 1ST ONE YOU NEED A ENGINE DID NOT BELIEVE IT 2ND SHOP BROKE IT DOWN NEED ENGINE FULL OF OIL CHANGED EVERY 3 MONTHS ONLY PROBLEM HAD WAS THAT PLASTIC RING ON WHEN CAR WOULD NOT GET OUT OF GEAR WHICH I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TOO NOW I HAVE NO CAR ONLY HAD FOR 4/ YEARS AND THIS HAS HAPPEN A LOT WOW WASTED MONEY AND I ALWAYS LET THIS CAR RUN BEFORE I MOVED BECAUSE YEARS AGO MY GRAND FATHER SAID CHRYSLER WERE COLD NATURE CARS WARM THEM UP I WAS NOT EVEN READY FOR MY TUNE-UP.

THIS IS A COMPLAINT REGARDING REPAIR OF CHRYSLER'S VEHICLES AFFECTED BY THE R25 DRIVER AIRBAG INFLATOR RECALL. I HAVE TRIED FOR SEVERAL WEEKS TO SCHEDULE MY VEHICLE FOR REPAIR. I HAVE CALLED MULTIPLE DEALERSHIPS IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA AND THE RESPONSE IS THE SAME. THERE IS A LONG WAITING LIST BECAUSE THE DEALERSHIPS ARE OUT OF REPAIR PARTS AND CHRYSLER HAS NOT SENT ADDITIONAL REPAIR PARTS. CHRYSLER HAD AGREED TO COMPLY WITH THE NATIONAL RECALL BUT HAS SUFFICIENTLY SUPPLIED THE DEALERSHIPS WITH THE PARTS NEEDED. THIS CAUSE AN NEGATIVE AFFECT ON MY ABILITY TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE. I NOW HAVE TO LIMIT MY USE BECAUSE I AM AFRAID THAT THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG MAY RUPTURE AND RELEASE METAL FRAGMENTS ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN ATLANTA WHICH IS HOT AND HIGH IN HUMIDITY.

I'D LIKE TO MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST CHRYSLER FOR COMPLETE ENGINE FAILURE, WITHOUT WARNING, OF MY 2006 CHRYSLER 300C AND RESPECTFULLY REQUEST AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE ISSUE. ON 7/17/15, I WENT INTO THE STORE WITH MY CHILD, RETURNED TO MY CAR AND IT WOULD NOT START. THE SYSTEM READ, "SYSTEM OK." SMOKE BLEW FROM THE TAILPIPE. FINALLY IT STARTED, BUT SHOOK VIOLENTLY. GRATEFUL I WAS NOT ON A HIGHWAY ALONE OR WHILE DRIVING. I COULD HAVE BEEN HIT HAD THIS OCCURRED IN TRAFFIC. IT HAS COST ME $560 (THREE TOWS TO REPAIR SHOP #1, CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP #2 AND FINALLY HOME AND A CHARGE FROM EACH REPAIR SHOP TO LOOK AT AND ASSESS THE DAMAGES (NOT TO MENTION THE COST OF THE RENTAL CARS). END RESULT, "PISTON #4 DAMAGED, MISSING LARGE PIECE OF PISTON TOP, NEED TO REPLACE ENGINE, ESTIMATED COST $8093." THE SERVICE TECH SAID HE'D NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. BASED ON NUMEROUS REPORTS OF COMPLETE ENGINE FAILURE FOUND ONLINE WHILE RESEARCHING THE COST OF REPLACEMENT ENGINES AT HTTP://WWW.CARCOMPLAINTS.COM/CHRYSLER/300C/2006/ENGINE/COMPLETE_ENGINE_FAILURE.SHTML, I NOW DON'T BELIEVE THAT AT ALL. CHRYSLER HAS PROVEN TO BE UNTRUSTWORTHY. THERE, THE 2006 CHRYSLER 300C HAS THE MOST OVERALL COMPLAINTS OF COMPLETE ENGINE FAILURE. SEE WORST MODEL YEAR GRAPHIC AT HTTP://WWW.CARCOMPLAINTS.COM/CHRYSLER/300C/, BASED ON NUMBER OF CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. IT SEEMS THE 2006 CHRYSLER 300C ENGINE ITSELF IS SIMPLY THE PROBLEM AND CHANCES ARE A NEW ENGINE TOO WOULD LIKELY FAIL. THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP SAID, 'WE'D JUST JUNK YOUR CAR' (A FULLY-LOADED 2006 I PAID $44K FOR BRAND NEW). NOW, WITH 94000 MILES ON IT, IT IS JUNK? THERE IS NO EXPLANATION FOR WHAT HAPPENED. SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG AT CHRYSLER. IN 2013, SOMETHING CAUSED COMPLETE BATTERY DRAIN. DRIVER DOOR BEGAN FALLING APART. AFTER FILLING UP, MY CAR STALLED IN TRAFFIC WHILE DRIVING AND IDLE. MAINTENANCE GETS DONE AT THE DEALERSHIP.

STALLS OUT WHILE DRIVING AFTER I FILL IT UP WITH GAS. IT HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES AND TWICE WHILE I WAS AT AN INTERSECTION ON THE TAKE OFF...IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE RIDING DOWN THE ROAD RIGHT AFTER I FILLED IT UP WITH GAS. I MAKE SURE THE CAP IS TIGHT AND I DO NOT OVERFILL TANK, WHEN GAS PUMPS STOPS, I DO NOT ADD ANYMORE. IT HAPPENS ONLY AFTER FILL UP AND AFTER IT SHUTS OFF, OR JERKS SEVERAL TIMES IT SEEMS TO RUN OK. IT IS VERY SCARY AND THERE IS NO WARNING WHEN IT HAPPENS.

MY 300 IS MY BABY. IN TOWN MILES, STORED DURING WINTERS, ACCIDENT, NONE! SHES MINT BUT HAVING SAID THAT, WHY THE HELL CAN U BE DRIVING DOWN A ROAD AND THE ENGINE BLOWS, NO WARNING, NO LIGHTS CAME ON. I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR ITS CHECK UPS, JUST 3 DAYS PRIOR, OIL CHANGES, ALL AN IM STRANDED, HAVING IT BE MY ONLY CAR, YEAH IT GETS TOWED. I HAVE 2 CHILDREN BATTLING LIFE ILLNESSES I NEED A CAR, I HAD A LICENSED MECHANIC CONFIRM THE ENGINES BLOWN, NOW A GARAGE ORNAMENT, SITTING ON BRAND NEW 22'S RIMS AN TIRES, 3000.00 THT I CANT USE BUT IM PAYING ON ALL B CUZ UR GUYS CHRYSLER 300 HAVE A MAJOR ENGINE DEFECT!. I HAD CLEANED OUT MY ACCT JUST TO BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE. GOING FROM WORK TO CANCER CENTER, TO KRONS CLINICS, HOSPITALS WEEKLY I HAD NO CHOICE. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE, THERE ARE WEBSITES ALOT OF CHRYSLER 300 ENGINES ARE BLOWING UP AT 100,000. MILES WE NEED TO BE PAID BACK, ENGINES REPLACED AND MUCH MORE BEING WE THE PEOPLE HAD FAITH THESE LUXURY CARS WOULD LAST LONGER AND CHRYSLER HAS LET US DOWN.

I RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM NHTSA THAT THE DRIVER AIRBAG INFLATOR HAD BEEN RECALLED. I CALLED THE DEALER WHERE I PURCHASED THE CAR AT RIVERSIDE MOSS BROS. THEY PUT ME ON SOME LIST CLAIMING THEY HAVE NO PARTS AND THAT AS THE PARTS COME IN THEY WORK OFF THEIR LIST AND I WILL GET A CALL. I HAVE CALLED THEM BACK WEEKLY SINCE WITH NO HELP. THEY CLAIM THEY ONLY GET TWO PARTS FOR THE RECALL REPAIR EACH WEEK. SO IF I'M LUCKY THEY MIGHT FIX IT IN THE NEXT TWO OR THREE YEARS. I CALLED AN ONLINE PARTS VENDOR AND THEY SAID I COULD GET THE PARTS BY UPS IN A WEEK OR LESS. SO THE DEALER IS PLAYING GAMES WITH PEOPLE. I WENT ONLINE AND WROTE THE OWNER MR. MOSS WHO PUTS ON A SHOW OF HOW IMPORTANT HIS CUSTOMERS ARE BUT HE OR A MINION NEVER REPLIED BY PHONE, LETTER OR EMAIL. THESE GUYS DON'T GET IT. NEXT CAR WILL BE FROM ANOTHER DEALER. JUST NEED HELP GETTING THE RECALL FIXED.
CAR GOES INTO LIMP MODE GETTING ON THE INTERSTATE. STALLS/SHUTS OFF AT STOP SIGN. RUNS FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES AND SHUTS COMPLETELY DOWN WHILE PARKED.

CAR CUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WOULD NOT START. CHANGED THE ALTERNATOR AND CHARGED THE BATTERY IT RAN FOR A DAY AND CUT OFF AGAIN.
