THE CAR IS STUCK IN PARK, HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME AND IT'S VERY COMMON. THEY SAID IT IS THE SHIFT INTERLOCK SWITCH, SOMEHOW NOT COVERED ON THE RECALL. $90 TO TOW AND THEY SAY IT WILL BE SEVERAL HUNDRED TO FIX THE TINY PLASTIC PART. VERY UNSAFE.

THE CONTACT HAD TO USE A SCREWDRIVER TO SHIFT THE GEAR FROM PARK TO NEUTRAL IN ORDER TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION GEAR SHIFT LEVER INTERLOCK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN CHRYSLER'S CSC-K39 (POWER TRAIN) RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,262.
I HIT A POLE THAT CRUSHED IN THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE CAR INCLUDING PART OF THE HOOD. DID OVER $4500 OF DAMAGES. EVEN THE FRAME HORNS HAD TO BE REPLACE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT WORKED. IF IT WASN'T FOR THE SEAT BELTS, I WOULD HAVE WENT THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD.
CHRYSLER 300 LTD RWD 2006 STALLS WHEN CAR SLOWS DOWN. HAVE PERFORMED REGULAR MAINTENANCE AND HAD IGNITION SWITCH REPLACED AT DEALERSHIP - CAR ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AFTER IT STALLS, BUT WHEN CAR IS RE-STARTED, (WHICH IT DOES) ENGINE LIGHT IS NO LONGER ON - VERY DANGEROUS TO HAVE NO WARNING, JUST DIES - CAR RUNS GREAT WHEN RUNNING, BUT QUITS SUDDENLY WHEN SPEED IS REDUCED - DO NOT WANT TO OWN CAR ANYMORE.

THERE IS ACTUALLY A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM (CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION K39 TRANSMISSION SHIFTER INTERLOCK LEVER) THAT INCLUDES MY MODEL AND YEAR, BUT NOT MY SPECIFIC VEHICLE. THE VIN NUMBERS OF VEHICLES THAT QUALIFY FOR FREE REPLACEMENT ARE APPARENTLY TOO SELECTIVE, JUDGING BY THE NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS ONLINE OF LIKE VEHICLES THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM. WHY LIMIT THE RECALL TO SPECIFIC VIN NUMBERS, WHEN EVEN CHRYSLER HAS IDENTIFIED THAT THERE IS A RANGE OF VEHICLES THAT COULD, AND ACTUALLY ARE INCURRING THE PROBLEM, BUT ARE NOT BEING COVERED?

MY CHRYSLER 300C HAS BEEN STALLING EVERYTIME I DRIVE IT. IVE TAKEN IT TO TWO CHRYSLER DEALERSHIPS. ONE OF THEM CHARGED ME MORE THEN $300 FOR NOTHING BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T EVEN FIND THE PROBLEM BUT ENDED UP CHARGING ME FOR THE TIME. THE SECOND DEALERSHIP CHANGED MY FUEL TANK THAT CHRYSLER GAVE A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON. IT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THE CAR IS STILL STALLING AT EVERY STOP I MAKE. I THINK THE PROBLEM ISN'T WITH THE FUEL TANK BECAUSE IT DID NOT FIX THE STALLING ISSUE. I THINK THAT ITS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE WIRING OR COMPUTER. I ALSO THINK THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD FIX THIS ISSUE ASAP. THEY SAID IT WAS THE GAS TANK BUT ITS CLEARLY NOT. WHY SHOULD I BE PAYING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR A FAULTY PROBLEM THAT ISNT MY FAULT. I TAKE CARE OF MY CAR AND ITS ONLY GOT 140,000KM ON IT. CHRYSLER TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD COST THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO FIND THE PROBLEM. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO. I THINK THAT CHRYSLER SAID IT WAS THE FUEL TANK BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE A CHEAPER WAY TO HANDLE WITH THIS ISSUE OTHER THEN SPENDING HOURS TO FIND THE PROBLEM. CHRYSLER SHOULD BE FIXING THIS PROBLEM NOT ME. THE CAR HAS DIED ON ME WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN IN THE MIDDLE OF A INTERSECTION. THAT IS NOT SAFE AND IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME MORE THEN 20 TIMES. I ALSO FEEL LIKE IM DAMAGING MY CAR EVERYTIME I HAVE TO TURN IT BACK ON. IT ALSO GUZZLES THE GAS MORE JUST BY TURNING IT BACK ON EVERYTIME. PLEASE GET CHRYSLER TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. IF THE CAR STILL HAS THE STALLING ISSUE AFTER GETTING THE GAS TANK CHANGED THEN ATLEAST GET CHRYSLER TO FIND THE PROBLEM AT NO COST TO ME.

FORTUNATELY, I SAFELY GUIDED THE CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO AVOID A COLLISION. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED 2 SENSORS (CODE:P0038)- $501.98. ONE WEEK LATER, THE CAR CONTINUED TO CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING.
