AFTER EACH FUEL FILL UP, THE CAR'S ENGINE DIES.

THE VEHICLE WENT INTO LIMP MODE SEVERAL TIMES AND THERE WAS A DRASTIC REDUCTION IN POWER AND SPEED. ALSO, THE VEHICLE STALLED NUMEROUS TIMES WITHOUT WARNING. BROOKS CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (3200 COLLEGE AVE, JACKSON, AL 36545, (251) 246-7224) WAS NOTIFIED, BUT THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO SAFELY DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I FILL MY CAR UP AT GAS STATION AND WHILE DRIVING MY CAR WILL COMPLETELY CUT OFF OUT OF NOWHERE

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TUTTLE-CLICK'S TUSTIN CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (40 AUTO CENTER DR, TUSTIN, CA 92782, (714) 730-4600) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ROCKER PANEL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 161,000.
AFTER FILLING FUEL TANK IN A GAS STATION AND STARTING WARM ENGINE THE ENGINE DIED AFTER TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET WHILE MAKING A TURN. VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. ENGINE RE-STARTED BUT CONTINUED TO DIE ON AND OFF FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES. HAVE NOT DRIVEN CAR SINCE.
I CAN NOT MOVE THE SHIFT HANDLE OUT OF PARK. WHY IS MY CAR NOT COVERED BY CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION K39. I AM NOT SATISFIED!!!!!!!! IT IS NOW IN THE GARAGE, AND I CAN NOT USE IT. THIS HAPPEN WHEN I TRIED TO GO ON AN ERRAND.
ON MULITPLE OCCASIONS OVER THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF THAT I'VE OWNED THE CAR IT HAS STALLED IN TRAFFIC AFTER FILLING UP AT THE GAS STATION, THE MOST RECENT OCCASION BEING 2/11/17. ON EVERY OCCASION I HAVE FILLED THE TANK (FILLING ONLY UNTIL THE PUMP CLICKS OFF), LEFT THE GAS STATION PARKING LOT AND MADE IT NO MORE THAN 1/4 MILE BEFORE THE CAR STALLS - TYPICALLY IT WILL LURCH FORWARD 1-2 TIMES VERY HARD, THEN STALL - I TURN THE KEY OFF, THEN BACK ON AND THE CAR WILL START WITHOUT INCIDENT, HOWEVER, THE LURCHING AND STALLING WILL HAPPEN 1-2 MORE TIMES BEFORE THE CAR DRIVES WITHOUT ANY INCIDENT (UNTIL THE NEXT FILL UP). ONLY ONE TIME HAS THE CAR STALLED WHILE IN A STOPPED POSITION (AT A STOP LIGHT), IN ALL OTHER INSTANCES THE CAR WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET (BETWEEN 10-45MPH) WHEN THE STALLING HAS OCCURED - ON EVERY OCCASION IT HAS STALLED MORE THAN 1 TIME (THE MOST BEING 3).
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE TRUNK WAS OPENED BUT FAILED TO STAY OPEN. THE TRUNK INADVERTENTLY CLOSED, HITTING THE CONTACT ON THE BACK. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER THE FAILURE OCCURRED AGAIN FOR A SECOND TIME AND STRUCK SOMEONE ON THE HEAD. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. EVERY TIME I FILL UP MY GAS TANK MY 2006 CHRYSLER 300C ENDS UP TURNING OFF AT ANY STOP, RED LIGHT, OR WHEN I AM SLOWING DOWN. I ALWAYS END UP STOPPING TRAFFIC BECAUSE OF IT. THE VEHICLE ENDS UP TURNING BACK ON AFTER A FEW TIMES OF TRYING TO TURN IT ON. I HAVE HAD PEOPLE MAKE SCENES AT MY WINDOW DUE TO THIS. I HAVE READ ONLINE BLOGS OF CHRYSLER OWNERS THAT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THEY GO TO THE DEALER AND REPLACE THE FUEL TANK. I HAVE CALLED AUTO PARTS STORES AND THE FUEL TANK IS PRETTY PRICEY. THERE ARE MANY MORE COMPLAINTS ON 300CFORUMS.COM

TRI STATE CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (2017 S MAIN ST, MARYVILLE, MO 64468, (660) 582-3677) DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER TRAIN CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THEY HAD SEEN FIVE OTHER MODELS WITH THE SAME FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA ACTION NUMBER: PE13016 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE); HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS RELATED. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED NO SOLUTION AND INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE MAY BE SOLD. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. *BF .. I OWN 2006 CHRYSLER 300; I KEEP IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. YESTERDAY 1/27/2017 THE SMOKE WAS ROLLING FROM UNDER THE HOOD AS DRIVING; THE POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY WAS RUBBING AGAINST THE TRANSMISSION LINES. *TR
THE HOSE RUNNING FROM THE TRANSMISSION WAS TOO CLOSE TO THE BELT AND IT RUBBED IT UNTIL IT WORE A WHOLE AFFECTING A WHOLE SHUT DOWN OF THE CAR.

ENGINE STALLS WHILE DRIVING WITH OUT ANY WARNING .OUTVOF NO WHERE ENGINE CUTS OFF ON LOW SPEED AND HIGH SPEED ON THE FWY ITS PRETTY DANGERS MECHANICS CANT FIGURE IT OUT. WHATS THE PROBLEM. I DONT FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY CAR ANYMORE. FIRST TIME THAT THE CAR STALLED WAS 2 MONTHS AHO WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE FWY. THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN. WHEN I WAS CROSSING THE INTERSECTION AT A LOW SPEED SO CAR STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION!
THIS VEHICLE HAVE A SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS PROBLEM WHEN IS REFUELING WITH THE FUEL VAPOR RECOVERY SYSTEM. ALSO EXPELL FUEL FROM THE TANK. THE FUEL SYSTEM ALLOWED AN OVERFILL CONDITION AFTER REFUELING AND THE ENGINE STALL WHEN THE VEHICLE STOPPED OR TRAVELING AT SLOW SPEED.
I HAVE BEEN GETTING TAKATA INFLATOR RECALLS FOR A YEAR NOW, THE DEALER IN MY AREA - FUCCELLO'S DODGE, AMSTERDAM, NY, (518)843-4206, KEEPS TELLING ME THE PART IS NOT AVAILABLE.

VEHICLE JUST STOPPED RUNNING, ENGINE QUIT FOR NO REASON AT ALL. IN TRAFFIC, LOST POWER STEERING AND BRAKES WHEN MOTOR QUIT. PULLED OVER TO SIDE AND ENGINE STARTED FINE THEN QUIT AGAIN. AFTER THIRD OR FOURTH TIME IT STARTED AND RAN FINE THE REST OF THE WAY HOME.

TAKATA RECALL I REQUESTED REMEDY PARTS FROM FCA ONLINE ON 7/26/16. I RECEIVED REF #29780030. AS OF 12/2/16, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION THAT THE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. I CALLED LANDMARK DODGE JEEP IN CHAMBLEE, GA AND THEY SAID THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED A SINGLE REPLACEMENT PART FOR RECALL S43/NHTSA 16V-352. UPON APPLYING THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE SHOOK AND THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE WHEELS SEEMED UNSTABLE. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. JAMES CERANTI MOTORS INC (3064 US-82, GREENVILLE, MISSISSIPPI 38703, (662) 332-7231) REPLACED THE STRUTS AND THE BALL JOINTS IN AN ATTEMPT TO STABILIZE THE VEHICLE, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND STATED THAT THE SHAKING OF THE VEHICLE WAS A RESULT OF FAULTY INNER AND OUTER TIE RODS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 119,000.

WHENEVER YOU PUT GAS IN THE TANK AND FILL IT UP THE CAR WE'RE ALL TURN OFF AS YOU ARE DRIVING GO A LITTLE BIT AND THEN TURN OFF AGAIN. IT DOES THIS EVERY TIME YOU PUT GAS IN THE CAR OR FILL IT UP.
ALL 4 HANDLER ARE ABLE TO COME PARTIALLY OFF THE CAR, I TAPED IT BACK WITH GORILLA CLEAR TAPE AS A BODY SHOP WANTS ME TO PAY $200 PER HANDLE. THIS ALL HAPPENED WITHIN ABOUT 4 MONTHS AND ABOUT A YEAR AGO.
CANNOT MOVE SHIFT FROM PARK POSITION
TAKATA RECALL , SECURITY SYSTEM SHUTS DOWN CAR I WAS AT THE GAS STATION AND THE SECURITY SYSTEM SHUT THE WHOLE CAR DOWN AS WELL AS THE AND A IGNITION REPAIR THE CAR BLOCKED THE REMOTE KEY FROM STARTING IT AND JUST WOULD NOT CLICK WHEN TURNING THE KEY WOULD NOT CRANK, LIGHTS STOP COMING ON THE ONLY THING IT WOULD DO IS CHIME WHEN THE DRIVER DOOR WAS OPEN AND THIS HAPPEN TO ME ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK ON THE HIGH WAY , BREAKS WHEN APPLYING THE EMERGENCY BREAK THE CAR STILL THIS HAPPENED WHEN I PARKED IN THE DRIVE WAY AND THE DRIVE WAY IS A LITTLE SLOPE MOVES
TAKATA RECALL. THE REPAIRS ARE TAKING TOO LONG. I DRIVE WITH MY 10-MONTH OLD IN THE CAR AND AM CONCERNED WITH THE LIFE THREATENING/SERIOUS INJURY POSSIBILITY IF INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE THE AIRBAG IS ENGAGED! I WOULD LIKE AN ALTERNATIVE RECOURSE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE MANUFACTURER, SUCH AS A LOANER CAR OR SOMETHING! MY FAMILY'S LIFE IS AT RISK EVERY TIME WE DRIVE THE CAR. GEAR SHIFT STALLED DURING RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC ON OCTOBER 14TH, 2016. CAR WAS TOWED TO DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR. CAR WAS LEAKING FUEL DECEMBER 14, 2016. CAR WAS TAKEN BACK TO DEALERSHIP AGAIN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM ON JANUARY 11TH WITH LEAKING FUEL. TANK IS DETERIORATING ACCORDING TO DEALERSHIP SERVICE ADVISOR MANAGER. CAR IS BEING REPAIRED. NOT SURE WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE BASE MODEL REGARDING THE 2006 CHRYSLER 300. I HAVE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY ON THIS CAR. THE "KINKS" SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED ON THE 2006 CHRYSLER 300 BASE MODELS WITH THE "GEAR SHIFT AND GAS LEAKS. CAN I GET A REFUND ON MY GEARSHIFT BEING STUCK IN TRAFFIC ON A BUSY CITY STREET. THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL ON THIS MODEL ON FUEL TANKS AND STALLING IN TRAFFIC.
TAMARA RECALL ENGINE HAS STOPPED SEVERAL TIMES WHILE I HAVE BEEN DRIVING IT AND SOME WHILE STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT. THE POWER STEERING STOPS AND BECOME DIFFICULT TO STEER AND I GET AFRAID UNTIL I CAN FIGHT IT AND STOP AND RESTART THE ENGINE. HAVE NOT TAKEN IT IN FOR REPAIR YET.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING 2 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. AFTER FILLING UP THE FUEL TANK, THE VEHICLE STALLED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 230,000.
MECHANIC SAID THE EXHAUST VALVE DROPPED IN THE CYLINDER AND CAUSED CATASTROPHIC FAILURE, NEEDS THE COMPLETE NEW ENGINE. I HAVE REPLACED THE OIL VIGOROUSLY EVERY 4500 MILE WITH SYNTHETIC OIL. THE CAR HAS 189000 MILES ON IT AND THERE ARE TONS OF REPORTS THAT SHOW THIS IS VERY COMMON AFTER 100K MILES.
TAKATA RECALL - I CURRENTLY HAVE TWO RECALLS ON MY CAR. ONE IS FOR THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG AND THE OTHER FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE. I AM ON A WAITING LIST AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR ONE OF THE PARTS BUT THE OTHER PART HAS NOT BECOME AVAILABLE YET. THE DEALERSHIP WAS NOT ABLE TO GIVE ME AN ETA ON THE PART THAT IS SUPPOSEDLY AVAILABLE - ONLY THAT I HAVE BEEN PUT ON A VERY LONG WAITING LIST. I WOULDN'T BE AS WORRIED ABOUT IT IF IT WEREN'T AS DANGEROUS A RECALL. I HAVE CHILDREN AND ONLY ONE VEHICLE. AM I SUPPOSED TO JUST DRIVE THE CAR AND HOPE FOR NO ACCIDENTS UNTIL THEY GET THE PARTS THEY NEED?
TAKATA RECALL I GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT 9/2/16. I REAR ENDED A CAR. MY AIRBAGS DEPLOYED BUT RUPTURED INSTANTLY THIS CAUSED ME TO HIT MY HEAD ON THE STEERING WHEEL CAUSING LOTS OF NECK AND BACK PAIN AND I ALSO CHIPPED MY FRONT TOOTH. MY DAUGHTER WAS GRAZED BY A SMALL FRAGMENT NOT CAUSING TOO MUCH HARM. IT WAS HORRIBLE. WE ALSO INHALED THE POWDER SUBSTANCE THAT WAS IN THE AIRBAGS SINCE THEN I HAVE A DRY COUGH ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT AND A LOT OF HEARTBURN.
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OF THIS CARS CONSTANTLY STAYED ON AFTER COUNTLESS ATTEMPS TO "FIX" THE PROBLEM FOR YEARS. FINALLY THE ENGINE JUST DIED. IT WAS SERVICED REPEATEDLY, WITH TUNE UPS, SPARK PLUG CHANGES, BUT THE ENGINE ALWAYS MISFIRED SHORLTY AFTER. THE CAR IS JUST 10 YEARS OLD. THERE SHOULD NEVER BE A PROBLEM LIKE THIS ON A HIGH QUALITY VEHICLE.

STARTED EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS LAST YEAR. CAR WOULD CUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING, CUT OFF WHILE IN A TURN AND I WAS ALMOST HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, DEALER STATED IT WAS PCM. HAD THE CONTROL MODULE FIXED ($1000 REPAIR) AND NOW RECENTLY WE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING AN ISSUE WHERE THE CAR WANTS TO CUT OFF AT ALL SPEEDS. TODAY, MY HUSBAND DROVE IT TO THE GAS STATION AND IT CUT OFF ON HIM AND THEN WOULDN'T START BACK UP. IT STARTED UP A FEW MIN AFTER SITTING BUT TRAFFIC WAS TOO BUSY SO WE WERE UNABLE TO DRIVE IT HOME. IT IS STILL PARKED AT THE GAS STATION AND WE ARE HOPING WELL BE ABLE TO GET IT HOME BEFORE HAVING TO CALL A TOW TRUCK. REPLACED SPARK PLUGS 1 1/2 WEEKS AGO BECAUSE WE ASSUMED IT WAS MISFIRING (WHEN IT WAS WANTING TO CUT OFF). WE'VE CHANGED THE CAMSHAFT (PRIOR TO HAVING THE PCM REPLACED) AND EGR VALVE AS WELL. THERE IS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BUT HAVE STILL ATTEMPTED TO GET CODES READ... NO CODES. THIS SEEMS TO BE AN ONGOING ISSUE THAT CHRYSLER NEEDS TO TAKE CARE OF. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR THAT CHRYSLER HAS HAD A HAND IN MAKING..... HOW MANY COMPLAINTS NEED TO TAKE PLACE BEFORE YOU REALIZE THAT THIS WILL KILL SOMEONE... BUT I GUESS YOU'D RATHER A LAWSUIT ON YOUR HANDS FOR A DEATH RATHER THEN FIXING ALL THESE CARS THE RIGHT WAY. #UNSATISFIEDBUYER TOOK A SHOT AT THIS BEAUTIFUL CAR AND AM SADLY DISAPPOINTED 2006 300C 5.7L HEMI. WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CAR IF YOU CAN'T EVEN DRIVE IT.
