TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER FAILED TO SHIFT OUT OF PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR FURTHER INSPECTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,356.
ENGINE FAILURE. NO WARNING LIGHTS. ENGINE FELT LIKE IT WAS RUNNING ON LESS THE 8 CYLINDERS. I PULLED INTO THE FIRST GAS STATION TO SHUT THE CAR OFF AND CHECK ALL FLUID LEVELS (ALL FINE). STARTED THE MOTOR, WOULD NOT IDLE AND DIED. TURNED THE KEY AGAIN AND HEARD THE MOTOR COMPLETELY CLUNK AROUND OUT OF SYNC. THAT WAS THE END OF MY 2006 300C
DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG RECALL. HAVE TO WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR AN APPOINTMENT ON A YEAR OLD RECALL THAT I JUST GOT THE LETTER AND SAYS WILL HAVE MY CAR FOR 4 HOURS ON A 5 MINUTE JOB THAT ONLY HAS 2 10MM BOLTS HOLDING THE AIRBAG IN PLACE AND 2 WIRING HARNESSES. ONLY DO WORK MONDAY - FRIDAY SO WE THE CUSTOMERS HAVE TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK TO TO GET THEIR SCREW UPS FIXED.
WHEN WILL THE DEALERS HAVE THE REPLACEMENT AIR BAG, I TOOK MY CAR IN BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PASSENGER REPLACEMENT
THE ENGINE JUST STALL OUT WITH NO WARNING WHILE DRIVING, IT MOSTLY DO IT AFTER FILLING THE GAS TANK TO THE HALF FULL MARK, ONCE IT GET CLOSE TO THE RED MARK , THE ENGINE RUN NORMAL. AND WHEN ITS AT A COMPLETE STOP THE ENGINE ALSO STALL OUT.
WE CALLED OUR LOCAL CRYSLER DEALER AND THEY TOLD US WE WOULD BE PUT ON A LIST, AND WHEN THE PARTS ARRIVED, WE WOULD BE CONTACTED..WE WAITED FOR FOUR MONTHS, NEVER HEARD FROM THEM, CONTACTED THEM AGAIN, SAID WILL BE PUT ON LIST AGAIN..WAITED FOR THREE MONTHS, NEVER JEARD FROM THEM..CALLED AGAIN AND WAS TOLD WILL BE PUT ON LIST AGAIN.. ...UPDATED 04/11/17 *BF UPDATED 08/08/2017*JS

ENGINE STALLS AFTER FUEL FILL UP.
VEHICLE WOULD NOT GO OUT OF PARK. VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN OUR DRIVEWAY. WE WERE ABLE TO OVERRIDE THE RETURN SPRING WITH A SCREWDRIVER TO GET THE VEHICLE OUT OF PARK AND TO THE GARAGE AND IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION GEAR SHIFT LEVER INTERLOCK RETURN SPRING. THE IS A CHRYSLER K39 RECALL ON 2005 TO 2007 CHRYLSER 300 BUT WAS TOLD BY CHRYSLER ITS VIN SPECIFIC AND OUR VIN DOESNT PERTAIN TO THE RECALL. I PUT IN A COMPLAINT WITH CHRYLSER AND CLAIM NUMBER IS 29857913. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HOW I CAN GET OUR VEHICLE ADDED TO THE LIST OF COVERED CARS THAT HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS WAS A COSTLY REPAIR AND SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE K39 RECALL.
SHUT OFF AT ANYTIME, LIKE DRIVING SLOW AND EVERYTIME I HIT THE CORNER OF MY BLOCK SAME SPOT ALWAYS SHUT OFF .ONCE IN THE FREEWAY WAS SCARRY ALSO MOTOR WOULD SHAKE,ONE DAY DRIVE GOOD NEXT WOULD BE BAD,TOOK IT TO MANY PLACES NO ONE CAN PIN POINT PROBLEM, SPENT LOTS OF MONEY IN PARTS AND NEVER GOT PROBLEM FIXED UNTIL MOTER GAVE OUT WITH CYLINDER DAMAGE AT 90000 MILES .ALWAYS KEEP IT MAINTENANCE GOOD DISAPOINTED WOULD NOT BUY CHRYSLER ANYMORE BEFORE THIS HAD A NEW YORKER THAT COUGHT ON FIRE ELECTRICAL ISSUE

My car poses a safety hazard to me and any others who ride in the car with me, due to the defective Takata airbags that were placed in my vehicle under the Takata airbag recall. Without my consent or knowledge, Dominion Chrysler of Bedford, VA replaced both front Takata airbags (driver and passenger side) with 2 more defective Takata airbags! How is this legal or safe!? I only found out about this dirty trick, by reading an article online, and then I called my dealership and they confirmed that they did indeed replace my defective Takata airbags with 2 more defective Takata airbags and that I would get safe, non-Takata airbags in the future, under the recall. When? They did not know. I had the first airbag replaced in 2016 and the second one replaced in 2017. When will I actually receive safe, non-Takata airbags under this recall? My vehicle is NOT SAFE TO DRIVE and yet Chrysler and The United States government purposely put defective and potentially fatal Takata airbags in my car, not once but twice? I don't have another vehicle to drive and I can't afford to discard this one and buy another potentially dangerous vehicle. I am nervous about driving this vehicle every time. So what am I supposed to do? What are millions of others supposed to do? Neither the FCA or NHTSA ever informed me that I would be getting a second set of defective Takata airbags under this recall. How many others are just as unaware as I was? It is now July 2022 and I need safe non-Takata airbags, like I was promised, under this nationwide recall, NOW. All unsafe Takata airbags need to be replaced today under this recall. How many more people need to be injured or die, due to these defective Takata airbags? No amount of money can compensate for loss of health or life. Please do what is right and what you promised the American People you would do! UPHOLD AND ENFORCE THE LAW AND GIVE US SAFE NON-TAKATA AIRBAG REPLACEMENTS!

2006 CHRYSLER 300C SRT8 6.1L STALLS. ONCE NORMAL IDLE TEMPERATURE REACHES 200 DEGREES, THE CAR STARTS TO REV UP AND DOWN AND EVENTUALLY TURNS OFF. NO CODES. REPLACED BOTH CAMSHAFT AND CRANKSHAFT SENSOR. THIS IS ANNOYING AND DANGEROUS BECAUSE SOMETIMES THE CAR ACCELERATES WHILE ON GEAR!! OR COMPLETELY DIES WHILE DRIVING. I HAD A MINOR (SMALL BUMP) ACCIDENT AT A GAS STATION. IDLE STARTED TO FLUCTUATE AND AT ONE POINT, THE CAR JUMPED A BIT, I HIT THE BRAKES BUT I CAME INTO MINOR CONTACT WITH THE CAR IN FROM OF US. HELPS US TO GET THIS RESOLVED.
EVERY TIME YOU FILL THE TANK THE CAR WILL STALL 3 OR 4 TIMES.

TODAY FOR THE 1ST TIME SINCE I'VE HAD MY CHRYSLER 300C HEMI 5.7 LITER V8 JUST RANDOMLY STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT. AFTER TAKING OUT THE KEY AND RESTARTING THE CAR BACK UP IT CONTINUED TO RUN, BUT AS SOON AS WE DROVE OFF AT A LOW SPEED YOU CAN HEAR THE ENGINE SHAKE AND STUMBLE A BIT AND WANTING TO STOP. I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED PROBLEMS BEFORE SINCE I GOT IT BACK IN 2014.
WHEN BY GAS LEVEL GETS TO 1/4 TANK OR BELOW AND I REFUEL, THE CAR STALLS FOR A WHILE AND SOMETIMES SHUTS OFF WHILE I'M DRIVING. THIS ALSO HAPPENS ANYTIME I FILL UP.
