TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO SHIFT THE GEAR SHIFTER OUT OF PARK, THE GEAR WOULD NOT RELEASE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED BUT DENIED ASSISTANCE WITH THE REPAIR. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 87,000.
MY 2007 CHRSLER 300C WAS DRIVEN YESTERDAY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. IT WAS PARKED IN OUR CARPORT AND NOW THE TRANSIMISSION FLOOR SHIFTER IS STUCK IN PARK. THIS IS THE SAME PROBLEM AS DESCRIBED CHRYSLERS SATIFICATION NOTIFICATION K39, THE TRANSMISSION GEAR SHIFT LEVER INTERLOCK RETURN SPRING HOOK. I FIND THAT MY VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED SINCE MY VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED IN APRIL 2007 AND THE RECALL ONLY COVERS VEHICLES BUILT BETWEEN JUNE TO SEP 2007.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO MOVE THE GEAR SHIFTER OUT OF PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 108,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED IT TOOK APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR TO OPEN THE SEAT BELT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 66,090.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE PARK LOCK OUT MECHANISM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000. THE CURRENT WAS 35,500.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER PLACING HIS VEHICLE INTO PARK, HE NOTICED THAT IT WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF THAT POSITION. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO FUNCTION NORMALLY AFTER HE TOOK THE CONSOLE APART. HE DROVE TO THE DEALER AND AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE THEY ADVISED HIM THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO IT BEING FRACTURED. THE GEAR SHIFT WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 25,900.
MY 2007 CHRYSLER 300 IS STUCK IN PARK , I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THIS SOMETHING THAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRENTY , BUT IS DOES HAPPEN ALOT. THE PROBLEM IS VERY TO BE INTERNAL TO THE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY. THERE IS A PINK PLASTIC ARM WHERE THE IGNITION INTERLOCK CABLE ATTACHES IN THE SHIFTER. THIS ARM IS SPRING LOADED AND CAN EVENTUALLY BREAK. WHEN IT DOES THEN YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO MOVE THE SHIFTER FROM PARK BECAUSE THE SHIFTER DOESN'T KNOW THE KEY IS TURNED ON. THE DEALERSHIP WANT TO CHARGE TO KEEP REPLACING IT WHICH MIND YOU IS NOT COVER UNDER WARRENTY. I HAVE TALKED TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM ALSO. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT LATERAL STRUT ARMS NEEDED REPLACING. IN ADDITION, THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIE ROD ALSO NEEDED REPLACING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIE ROD WAS REPLACED APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR PRIOR TO THE MOST RECENT FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 56,000.

A LOCAL MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION GEAR SHIFT INTERLOCK WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE IS 62,000. UPDATED 10/19/11 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED A RECALL WAS ISSUED FOR THE EXACT PROBLEM SHE EXPERIENCED. HOWEVER, HER VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. UPDATED 11/04/11
GEAR SHIFT LOCKED IN PARK. COULD NOT MOVE IT OUT OF PARK EVEN AFTER USING THE RESET BUTTON. HAD TO CALL A TOW TRUCK. TOW TRUCK COULD NOT TOW DUE TO THE DRIVEWAY AND POSITION OF CAR. MECHANIC HAD TO MAKE HOUSE CALL. WILL RETURN TOMORROW WITH A SPECIAL JACK TO TRY TO GET THE CAR INTO A POSITION WHERE IT CAN BE TOWED TO THE SHOP. EXPECT THIS TO BE EXPENSIVE REPAIR. *TR
I OWN A 2007 CHRYSLER 300 C. FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS THE CAR JUST SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT SPEED I AM DOING. IT JUST SHUTS DOWN. IT TAKES ME PULLING OFF THE ROAD IF I CAN, SHUT IT OFF AND RESTART IT. RECENTLY I TOOK IT TO CHRYSLER FOR I THINK THE THIRD TIME AND THEY REPLACED THE ECU. IT WORKED FOR ABOUT THREE MONTHS AND YESTERDAY I WAS DRIVING IN INTERSTATE DRIVING WHEN IT SHUT DOWN DOING 70 MILES HOUR. BARELY AVOIDING A SEMI FROM RUNNING INTO THE BACK OF ME. IT HAPPENED TWICE WITH IN A 500 MILE DRIVE. VERY DANGEROUS. ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO IT HAPPENED ON A SIDE STREET AND I PULLED OVER AND IT STARTED UP FINE. WROTE IT OFF AND WENT ON. THIS IS VERY BAD. I AM GOING BACK TO THE DEALER TOMORROW AND FIND OUT WHAT CAN BE DONE. NO WARNING WHEN THIS HAPPENS AND IT SEEMS CHRYSLER HAS NO ANSWER BUT TO REPLACE THE COMPUTER. *TR
STARTED CAR PULLED AWAY FROM PARKING SPOT AND CAR STALLED. ALSO HAPPEN S AFTER STOPPED AT A LIGHT AND MAKING A TURN AND AGAIN CAR STALLS WHILE IN TRAFFIC. *TR
ENGINE STALLS WHILE VEHICLE IS TRAVELING. AT THE SAME TIME THIS OCCURS, THE DASH LIGHTS AND GAUGES WILL GO HAYWIRE, FLICKERING, FLASHING AND THE GAUGES SWING WILDLY. THE HEADLIGHTS MAY ALSO GO OFF IF THEY ARE ON.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS DISCONNECTED AND WOULD NEED A NEW ASSEMBLY. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 41,200. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED AFTER PARKING HIS VEHICLE HE WAS UNABLE TO SHIFT INTO ANY OTHER GEAR. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SHIFT OUT OF THE PARK POSITION AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED HIM THAT THE GEAR SHIFT ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS OVER ROAD HUMPS, A LOUD NOISE WAS HEARD IN THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY ADVISED HER THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.
I HAVE A 2007 CHRYSLER 300 AND I LOVE IT UNTIL NOW!!! ON FRIDAY 5/6/11 I WAS PULLING OUT OF MY DRIVE WAY WHEN I PUT THE CAR ON "PARK" TO CLOSE MY GATE I GOT BACK IT AND IT WAS STUCK ON "PARK" EVEN WITH TRYING THE "PINK RELEASE BUTTON". FROM WHAT I RESEARCHED IT IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM IN THIS TYPE OF CAR. THERE REALLY SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE. IT IS RIDICULOUS THAT THE MANUFACTURE WON'T COVER THIS PROBLEM WITH NO CHARGE TO THE COSTUMERS. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN CHRYSLER AND WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! *TR
WE ARE A USED CAR DEALERSHIP AND WE HAVE SOLD A NUMBER OF CHRYSLERS. RECENTLY WE HAVE BEEN HAVING COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME PROBLEM; THE SHIFTER GETS STUCK IN PARK AND RENDERS THE VEHICLE INOPERABLE. ONE OF THE VEHICLES THAT HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM IS VIN# [XXX] (2007 CHRYSLER 300). THE ENTIRE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED. I HAVE A 2007 CHRYSLER 300 AND IT IS RIGHT UNDER 60,000 MILES. IT IS STUCK IN PARK AND WONT RELEASE EVEN WITH THE PINK SWITCH . I DID SOME RESEARCH ON LINE WITH THIS PROBLEM.. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE SUNROOF SHATTERED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PLASTIC WITHIN THE SUNROOF MECHANISM WOULD PERIODICALLY BREAK, CAUSING THE SUNROOF TO SHATTER. THE SUNROOF WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 91,000.
MY PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT HAS GOTTEN STUCK NUMEROUS TIMES AND MY PASSENGERS INCLUDING MYSELF HAVE HAD TO CLIMB OUT. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ABOUT 2 -3 YRS NOW. I HAVE BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALERSHIPS ATTENTION AS WELL AS THE WARRANTY PERSONNEL. MY CAR IS COVERED BUMPER TO BUMPER BUT THEY TELL ME THIS IS NOT COVERED. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS WELL AS WORRISOME DUE TO I'M AFRAID TO LET PEOPLE RIDE WITH ME. I LITERALLY HAVE HAD TO CLIMB BACKWARDS WITH THE SEAT ALL THE WAY SUPINE AND CLIMB OUT BACK TO GET OUT. I'M NOT SURE IF THERE IS ANY RECOURSE I CAN TAKE FOR THIS ISSUE. THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH MY BRAKES SEVERAL TIMES WHICH ALWAYS SEEM TO HAVE SOUND PROBLEMS AND ISSUES AND EVERYTIME I BRING UP THE SEATBELT ISSUE BUT GET NO WHERE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT CONTROL MODULE WOULD ALSO NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE FRONT CONTROL MODULE WAS REPLACED TO NO AVAIL. THE DEALER THEN REPROGRAMMED AND REPLACED THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,819 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 53,537. UPDATED 07/20/11*LJ UPDATED 08/01/11*LJ THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH, CONTROL MODULE AND POWER MODULE WERE REPLACED. UPDATED 02/01/12
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300C. WHILE THE VEHICLE PARKED, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO SHIFT FROM PARK TO DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE GEAR SHIFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 48,000.
NO WARNING. CAR ALL OF A SUDDEN DIED WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE STREET WITH 2 CHILDREN IN BACKSEAT. ALMOST REARENDED BY AN SUV. CAR WOULD NOT RESTART FOR ABOUT 1-2 MINUTES. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED OR REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 5,000.

WENT TO GET INTO MY CAR TO DRIVE HOME AFTER WORK AND I COULD NOT GET IT TO SHIFT OUT OF PARK. MY HUSBAND CAME AND TOOK MY CENTER CONSOLE APART AROUND THE SHIFTER AND HE FOUND THE LITTLE PINK PART INSIDE HAD BROKE. WHY WOULD THEY USE A PINK PLASTIC PART FOR SUCH AN IMPORTANT PART???? A FEW DAYS AGO MY 2007 CHRYSLER 300 WAS STUCK IN PARK IN THE MIDDLE OF A SHOPPING CENTER LOT ON A HOT AZ DAY. THE TOW TRUCK SAID THAT THIS IS THE PROBLEM HE GETS CALLS FOR MOST WITH CHRYSLERS. HE SAID THAT HE CARRIES A SPECIAL TOOL TO GET THEM OUT OF PARK. HE SAID IT IS A LITTLE PLASTIC PINK PIECE THAT BREAKS. AT THE DEALERSHIP THEY NEW EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. WHEN RESEARCHING IT ON THE INTERNET I TYPED IN GOOGLE CHRYSLER 300 AND THE FIRST THING THAT POPPED UP WAS "CHRYSLER 300 STUCK IN PARK" IN THE SEARCH ENGINE. THE CASHIER STATED IT HAPPENS FAR TO MUCH AND SHE WISHED CHRYSLER WOULD DO A RECALL. IT WAS THREE HUNDRED AND SOME ODD DOLLARS TO REPAIR SINCE THE CAR WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. THEY PUT IN A NEW GEAR SHIFTER WITH THE PINK PLASTIC PIECE. THEY CAN'T JUST REPLACE THE PINK PLASTIC PIECE. THEY TOLD ME THIS COULD HAPPEN AGAIN AND IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY FOR 12 MONTHS. IM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS AND I WILL PERSUADE EVERYONE I KNOW TO SAY AWAY FROM THE CHRYSLER 300 WHEN IT COMES TO BUYING A NEW CAR! *TR

I HAVE A CHRYSLER 300 2007. I WAS PREPARING TO LEAVE MY HOUSE. I TURNED MY CAR ON, PRESSED ON MY BRAKES AND BEGAN TO SHIFT THE GEAR OUT OF PARK TO DRIVE AND IT WOULDN'T BUDGE. WHENEVER THE CAR (2007 CHRYSLER 300 TOURING) IS PUT INTO "PARK" WITHOUT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ENGAGED TO HOLD THE CAR IN PLACE, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO DISENGAGE THE TRANSMISSION FROM PARK TO ANY OTHER GEAR SELECTION WHEN RESTARTING THE CAR AND ATTEMPTING TO MOVE IT. WHILE I KNOW IT IS GOOD DRIVING PRACTICE TO USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WHEN PARKED, IT IS A MUST IN THIS VEHICLE OR THE TRANSMISSION GEAR SELECTOR WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT TO MOVE. THE PROBLEM HAS EXISTED SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NEW. I HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED A REPAIR, BUT RELIGIOUSLY APPLY THE PARKING BRAKE ONLY AFTER SHIFTING INTO NEUTRAL, TAKING MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL UNTIL THE CAR SETTLES, THEN PUTTING IT INTO "PARK." *TR
ALL OF THE CHROME COVERED WHEEL LUGS ON MY 2007 CHRYSLER 300 HAVE BEEN MUSHROOMED BY THE IMPACT WRENCH WHILE THE TIRES WERE BEING ROTATED; MY LUG WRENCH NO LONGER FITS ANY WHEEL LUGS. I CAN NOT CHANGE THE TIRES IF I GET A FLAT TIRE. ALL THE TIRE ROTATIONS ARE UNDER THE CHRYSLER SERVICE CONTRACT. *TR
MY 2007 CHRYSLER 300 BASE MODEL HAS A DEFECT WHERE I GET STUCK IN PARK AND CANNOT GET OUT OF THIS POSITION ON MY SHIFT PANEL. I CONTACTED MY DEALERSHIP AND THEY EXPLAINED TO ME THAT ITS A SMALL CHEAP PLASTIC PART THAT BROKEN OFF AND DISENGAGED MY SHIFT CONTROLS. NOW I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE AND WILL NEVER BUY ANY DODGE MAKE EVER BECAUSE OF THIS. I WOULD LIKE THERE TO BE A RECALL ON ALL THESE KINDS OF MAKES SO I WOULD BE STUCK WITH A $200 PROBLEM THAT CAN JUST DECIDE TO COME OUT OF NOWHERE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, THE VEHICLE SHIFT LEVER WOULD NOT RELEASE FROM THE PARK POSITION. THE CONTACT RESEARCHED AND FOUND THAT THERE WAS A SMALL PART THAT WAS POSSIBLY FRACTURED AND CAUSING THE FAILURE. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE ENTIRE MECHANISM WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE PART WAS NOT SOLD SEPARATELY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 30,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT IT WAS A PLASTIC LATCH PEN THAT BROKE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE ENTIRE GEAR SHIFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IN ORDER TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 52000.
NO WARNING WAS GIVEN. I WAS LEAVING WORK ON AUGUST 3RD, THE CAR WOULDN'T MOVE OUT OF PARK. IT WAS STUCK IN "PARK". I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND HE SAID THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM IN CHRYSLER CARS. MY CAR IS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. 52,000 MILES...WE HAVE A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE CAR AND THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE COVERED. WHEN I CALLED CHRYSLER, THEY SAID THE "GEAR SHIFT" WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. HE PROCEEDS TO TELL ME IT WILL COST $150 TO TOW IT; $150 DIAGNOSTIC TEST TO DETERMINE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BEFORE THEY CAN SAY WHETHER OR NOT THE WARRANTY COVERS IT...AND IF IT DOESN'T, THEN I WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND THE PRICE TO FIX A .50 CENTS PLASTIC, WHICH IS $406.00!!! $706 TO FIX A "KNOWN PROBLEM" IN CHRYSLER CARS. THE "GEAR SHIFTS" IN THESE VEHICLES SHOULD BE REPLACED. THERE ARE MANY BLOGS ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THIS "COMMON PROBLEM". THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICS WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE SHORT RUNNER VALVE PERFORMANCE WOULD HAVE TO BE SERVICED. THE TECHNICIAN ALSO STATED THAT THE THROTTLE COULD POSSIBLY NEED REPLACING. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 06V341000 (POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION) BUT WAS ADVISED BY THE MANUFACTURER THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,000.
CAR WOULD NOT COME OUT OF PARK. LEFT THE CAR THERE OVERNIGHT. CALLED FLAT BED THE NEXT DAY TO HAVE IT TOWED TO DEALER. CALLED THE DEALER THE NEXT DAY AND THEY SAID THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER GOT IT OUT OF PARK AND IT DIDN'T DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM FOR THE DEALER. NOTHING FIXED JUST HAD TO PAY A TOW BILL. HAVE OWNED THE CAR FOR SIX AND HALF YEARS NOW AND IT'S ONLY DONE IT THAT ONE TIME. ODD. *TR

CALLED CHRYSLER TO TRY AND GET HELP AS THIS DEFECT IS NOT A OWNER CAUSED ISSUED ITS A DEFECTIVE PART. WAS TOLD 2 BUSINESS DAYS FOR CONTACT BACK. CALLED 2ND DAY TOLD MY # LISTED WAS INCORRECT "WHICH IT WAS NOT" THEY READ IT BACK TO ME. GAVE NEW # LEFT MULTIPLE VOICEMAILS ON CASE MGRS PHONE WITH BOTH #'S TO REACH. CALLED AGAIN TODAY WAS TOLD CASE CLOSED COULDN'T REACH ME BAD PHONE # LISTED. TOLD THEM THAT WAS INCORRECT THEY SAID SORRY HAD TO OPEN NEW CASE AND WAIT AGAIN FOR A NEW CASE MANAGER TO REVIEW. OBVIOUS RUN AROUND FOR A "KNOWN" ISSUE WITH THERE VEHICLES. TONS OF COMPLAINTS ON THE WEB ABOUT THIS VERY SURPRISED THEY HAVE NOT STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE TO RECALL. ALSO SURPRISED A CLASS ACTION HAS NOT BEEN BROUGHT AGAINST THEM AS OF YET.... HOPE YOU HAVE MANY COMPLAINTS JUST LIKE THIS ONE SO MAYBE YOU CAN HELP GET SOMETHING DONE. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THAT THE HE WOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR ANY REPAIRS. THE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 54,549.
