VEHICLE OCCASIONALLY STALLS WHEN MAKING A LEFT TURN. A POPPING SOUND OCCURS WHEN TURNING TO THE LEFT, THE SOUND SEEMS TO BE COMING FROM THE LEFT TIRE HUB. ALSO THERE IS A CLICKING SOUND WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GEARS. *TR PLEASE SEND ME ANY INFORMATION REGARDING RECALLS FOR THESE PROBLEMS,AS I AM A SINGLE MOTHER WHO TRANSPORTS SMALL CHILDREN DAILY IN THIS VEHICLE, WITH LIMITED RESOURCES.
FRONT SUB-FRAME FOUND SIGNIFICANTLY RUSTED, COMPLETE PERFORATION ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FOR ALMOST 6 INCHES, SEVERAL HOLES ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. VEHICLE WILL NOT PASS PA STATE SAFETY INSPECTION. CHRYSLER SAYS NOTHING THEY CAN DO BECAUSE OF MILEAGE, DEALER SAYS IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT AS IT IS A FACTORY DEFECT. LEFT WITH AN UNSAFE, ILLEGAL VEHICLE AFTER ONLY 2 CAR PAYMENTS. *TR
I HAVE PREVIOUSLY REPORTED A PROBLEM WITH THE 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA STALLING WHEN TURNING. THE PROBLEM HAS PROGRESSIVELY WORSENED. THIS MONTH ALONE, (DECEMBER 2011) THE CAR HAS STALLED 5 TIMES. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THE CAR FOR FEAR THAT I WILL CRASH WHEN IT STALLS. THERE ARE SO MANY CHRYSLER PACIFICA OWNERS THAT ARE REPORTING THE SAME PROBLEM. ALONG WITH THE STALLING ISSUE, THE GAS PEDAL STICKS AND NEEDS TO BE PUSHED RATHER HARD. A THIRD PROBLEM I HAVE ENCOUNTERED THIS YEAR IS THE HEADLAMPS "BURNING OUT". I HAVE REPLACED THE FRONT LEFT HEADLAMP THREE THIS YEAR. I AM FAMILIAR WITH THE HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEADLAMPS. I AM GREATLY DISTRESSED BY THESE PROBLEMS, ESPECIALLY THE STALLING. I HAVE CHILDREN THAT I DRIVE AROUND IN THIS CAR. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT CHRYSLER'S FAILURE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. *TR
WHEN I INITIALLY PURCHASED MY VEHICLE, 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA, FROM GENESIS AUTO SALES LOCATED AT 1005 SPRINGDALE RD IN AUSTIN, TX. 78721 THERE WAS NOISE BY THE FRONT LEFT TIRE. AFTER BRINGING THIS TO THE COMPANIES ATTENTION THEY AGREED TO FIX IT. THE KEPT THE VEHICLE ABOUT A WEEK. THE DAY I PICKED IT UP MY FATHER LOOKED IT OVER AND FOUND DUCT TAPE ON THE PART, CV JOINT. I TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK AND ALSO MENTIONED THE HORN ALSO WENT OUT. THE COMPANY AGREED TO FIX THIS AGAIN AS WELL AS PERFORM MY INSPECTION AS THE STICKER HAD EXPIRED. THE CAR WAS KEPT ANOTHER 2 WEEKS. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PICKED UP FOR A SECOND TIME THE CAR BEGAN OVERHEATING. AT THIS TIME MY FATHER AND MECHANIC LOOKED IT OVER AND FOUND A BUSTED HOSE, BUT THEY NOTED THAT THE CV JOINT WAS DUCT TAPED AGAIN THIS TIME COVERED IN GREASE. HE ALSO NOTED MISSING LUG NUTS ON ALL TIRES. I BROUGHT THIS UP TO THE COMPANY AGAIN WHO REFUSED TO LISTEN. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH DMV, BBB, OAG, FTC AND DPS. DPS SENT OUT AN INVESTIGATOR WHO TOOK PICS AS WELL AND ALSO NOTED THAT THE TINT ON THE VEHICLE WAS ILLEGAL AND THAT NOT ONLY WERE LUG NUTS MISSING BUT THE LUG BOLTS WERE BROKEN OFF. ALL THIS AS WELL AS THE MOTOR MOUNT HAVE SINCE BEEN REPLACED. THE BOLTS HOLDING THE CV JOINT AND MOTOR MOUNT WERE ALSO FOUND NOT TO BE THE PROPER SIZE. ON 12/24/11 AS I WAS DRIVING MY SEAT BELT BECAME UNBOLTED FROM THE VEHICLE. I WAS ABLE TO PLACE IT BACK IN WHERE IT CAME FROM BUT IT IS NOT SECURE. THE COMPANY REFUSES TO HELP WITH THESE PROBLEMS AND I WILL BE PURSUING LEGAL ACTION AS ALL PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE HAVE BEEN SAFETY HAZARDS AND I AM NOW UNABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE FOR FEAR MYSELF OR MY FAMILY WILL BE INJURED AS IM NOT SURE ALL PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN FIXED AS DIFFERENT NOISES STILL OCCUR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE WOULD VIOLENTLY VIBRATE UPON SHIFTING INTO DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS WERE FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS AWAITING ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 59,800.
BROUGHT THE CAR IN FOR OIL CHANGE AND MECHANIC NOTICED THE RUST THRU THE FRAME. WE CONTACTED A LOCAL DEALER AND THEY WOULD NOT COVER THE DEFECT. I DID HEAR THAT CHRYSLER KNOWS OF THE ISSUE AND HAS EXTENDED VEHICLE WARRANTIES TO 150,000 MILES AND REPAIRED THE FRAME DAMAGE. HOW DO I GET THIS REPAIRED? THIS SHOULD BE RECALLED FOR SAFETY ISSUE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE HEADLIGHTS FAILED WITHOUT ANY WARNING. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BECAME STUCK AND SHE WOULD HAVE TO PRESS HARD ON THE BRAKES TO GET THEM TO RELEASE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 81,000.
A LETTER WAS SENT TO SOME 2004-2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA OWNERS THAT THE FRONT ENGINE CRADLE AND SUSPENSION MOUNT FRAME WARRANTY WAS BEING EXTENDED TO 15 YEARS OR 150,000 MILES TO OWNERS IN STATES THAT USE ROAD SALT BECAUSE OFF CORROSION PROBLEMS. THEY GO ON TO CARELESSLY EXPLAIN THAT IF YOUR ARE NOT EXPERIENCING VIBRATION AND SHAKING YOU NEED TO DO NOTHING-- BY THE TIME ITS THAT BAD ITS ALMOST TO LATE! MINE WAS NOT SHAKING BUT I HAD MY PACIFICA INSPECTED ANY WAY AND FOUND RUST HOLES IN FRONT FRAME, ONE WAS THE SIZE OF MY FIST AND ON THE OTHER SIDE MAY BE THREE OR FOUR FINGERS WIDE. I STOPPED DRIVING THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY AND CALLED THE PHONE # LISTED ON THE NOTIFICATION LETTER TWICE, BOTH TIMES THEY DENIED A PROBLEM BECAUSE IT WAS NOT LISTED AS A RECALL ON THEIR WEB SITE AND BESIDES MY VEHICLE DID NOT FALL INTO THE VIN BLOCK ?? THERE ARE CASES LISTED ON THE INTERNET WHERE STATE DMV INSPECTION STATIONS HAVE FAILED THESE VEHICLES BECAUSE THEY WERE UNSAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE OF FRAME CORROSION. I AM HAVING THE ENGINE CRADLE REPLACED AT MY EXPENSE. HOW CAN A MANUFACTURER HAVE SUCH A FLIPPANT ATTITUDE ABOUT A KNOWN SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE? DOES THIS FALL UNDER A HIDDEN WARRANTY OR RECALL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION BEGAN TO HESITATE AND DURING ACCELERATION THERE WAS EXCESSIVE PULSATION. IN ADDITION, THE ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THERE WAS ALSO A RAPID DECREASE IN THE RPMS. THE CONTACT MANEUVERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THE ENGINE SUDDENLY STALLED AND THEN RESTARTED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON AT LEAST FIFTEEN OCCASIONS. THERE WAS A RECALL RELATED TO THE FAILURE ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 06V432000 (POWER TRAIN: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: CONTROL MODULE; TCM, PCM); HOWEVER THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO STATED THAT THE PCM WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER HAVING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE, HE WAS ADVISED BY A MECHANIC THAT THE ENGINE CRADLE WAS CORRODED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A SMALL SHARD OF PLASTIC FRACTURED IN THE GEAR SHIFTER AND THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE SHIFTED OUT OF PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE PARTS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS AND CRASHED INTO A BRICK WALL OF AN APARTMENT COMPLEX. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED BUMPS TO HIS HEAD AND WAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE TO THE HOSPITAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTO SHOP. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 103,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. WHENEVER THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE, SHE WOULD NOTICE THAT EXTRA PRESSURE HAD TO BE PLACED ON THE PEDAL IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CURRENT AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION AIR LOCK LEVER WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIRS TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 120,000.

THE FAILURE RECURRED ON AN INTERMITTENT BASIS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. WHILE CHECKING THE AIR PRESSURE ON A CUSTOMER'S CHRYSLER PACIFICA THE AIR VALVE ON THE TPMS SENSOR BECAME STUCK IN THE OPEN POSITION RESULTING IN THE LOSS OF ALL AIR PRESSURE. THE TPMS SENSOR AND VALVE HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS CLAIM IS BEING FILED ON BEHALF OF ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS AT OIL CHANGER, INC. *TR
I CURRENTLY HAVE A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA TOURING FWD THAT WAS PURCHASED IN 2007. SINCE THE TIME OF PURCHASE I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE MY DRIVER'S SIDE HEADLIGHT BULB 3 TIMES. I HAVE PLACED A CALL TO THE DEALER I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM AND ALSO CHRYSLER'S CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY TELL ME THAT MY VIN NUMBER DOES NOT APPEAR ON ANY RECALLS THAT THEY HAVE. I HOWEVER, DO NOT UNDERSTAND AND HAVE NEVER HAD A VEHICLE THAT HAS NEEDED A HEADLIGHT REPLACED THOSE MANY TIMES IN ONE YEAR. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE TIRES CONTINUED TO WEAR PREMATURELY AND WERE REPLACED THREE TIMES IN A VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THEY ADVISED HER THAT THE CRADLE HAD COMPLETELY RUSTED, WHICH CAUSED THE TIRES TO WEAR FAST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 102,000.
2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. CONSUMER STATES PROBLEMS WITH VEHICLE HEADLAMPS *TGW
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WOULD BECOME STUCK SPORADICALLY. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 43,000.
THE ENGINE CRADLE IS CORRODING AWAY, THERE IS A LARGE SPLIT IN ONE SIDE. CHRYSLER HAS ISSUED A SAFETY RECALL FOR THE SAME YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL CARS FOR THIS KNOWN DEFECT. HOWEVER EVEN THOUGH MY CAR HAS THE VERY SAME DEFECT ITS PARTICULAR VIN IS NOT INCLUDED. *TR
MY GAS PEDAL STICKS WHILE DRIVING THE CAR OR AFTER I STOP THE CAR AT A LIGHT OR SIGN. WHEN AT A COMPLETE STOP, I HAVE TO PUSH HARD ON THE PEDAL,WHICH MAKES THE CAR LURCH FORWARD. WHEN I AM DRIVING ON THE EXPRESSWAY, IT GETS STUCK AND I AM NOT ABLE TO ACCELERATE, WHICH CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. I SEE THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP, THE TECH KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT, SAID THAT IT WAS A THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY THAT GETS OLD AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED FOR 200 BUCKS. IF THIS IS HAPPENING ON THE MAJORITY OF THE PACIFICAS, WHY DO THE CONSUMERS NEED TO PAY TO HAVE IT REPLACED. THIS IS A STRICT LIABILITY NEGLIGENCE, NOT MY FAULT. *TR
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILURE. A SIMILAR COMPLAINT WAS FILED UNDER ODI ID 10362111. JUST AS IN OTHER COMPLAINTS, THERE WILL BE PERIODIC FLICKERING OF THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS (LIGHTS, RADIO, AC). MY ABS LIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHTS AND ALARM COME ON. THE ELECTRICAL ARCHING CAN BE HEARD THROUGH THE SPEAKERS A SERIES OF POPS. ON SOME OCCASIONS THE VEHICLE WILL NOT START RIGHT BACK UP ONCE IT HAS BEEN STOPPED. I ORIGINALLY NOTICED THE PROBLEM ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO BUT DISMISSED IT AS A SYMPTOM OF SOME OTHER ISSUE. IT WASN'T UNTIL THE PROBLEM PERSISTED THAT I REALIZED IT WAS UNRELATED TO THE OTHER PROBLEM WITH MY VEHICLE. *TR
TOOK THE CAR TO LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER (BOURNIVAL CHRYSLER JEEP, YORK, ME) FOR ANNUAL INSPECTION. WAS TOLD CAR COULD NOT BE INSPECTED BECAUSE THE FRONT CROSS MEMBER HAD RUSTED THROUGH IN SPOTS.(CAR HAD BEEN INSPECTED AT THE SAME FACILITY A YEAR AGO AND NO PROBLEM WAS FOUND) THE PROBLEM WAS CONFIRMED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. CAR HAS 91,500 MILES. I HAVE READ OF CHRYSLER OFFERING A 10-YEAR, 100,000 WARRANTY ON THIS PROBLEM BUT NEITHER THE SERVICE MANAGER NOR NHTSA COULD CONFIRM. THERE ARE DOZENS OF INSTANCES OF THIS PROBLEM, BOTH IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA LISTED ON EDMUNDS (HTTP://TOWNHALL-TALK.EDMUNDS.COM/DIRECT/VIEW/.F0EC024/258). THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT SHOULD BE CLEARED UP BY CHRYSLER. *TR
I HAVE HAD MY CAR FROM 2011 TILL CURRENT AND REPLACED THE FRONT AXLES/TIE RODS AT LEAST 3 TO 4 TIMES A YEAR. LAST INCIDENT IT BROKE WHILE PULLING OUT OF DRIVE WAY AND I LOST CONTROL AND ROLLED DOWN A HILL INTO 4 LANES OF TRAFFIC NARROWLY MISSING THE GAS PUMPS AT THE STATION ACROSS THE 4 LANE THANK GOODNESS NO ONE HIT ME WITH MY YOUNG CHILD IN THE CAR. WHEN I FIRST HAD TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER TO GET THEM CHANGED 2 OTHER CARS IN THIS SMALL TOWN I LIVE IN WERE THERE ALSO HAVING THERE'S REPLACED. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL EVERY PERSON I TALK TO STATES THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT IS ARISING FROM A RUSTED CRADLE PROBLEM WHEN MANUFACTURING THE CAR. I WOULD LIKE MY CAR REPAIRED WHERE THIS WILL NO LONGER HAPPEN AND IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR ME TO FIX. I HAVE DECIDED TO LOOK FURTHER INTO THIS ISSUE AND MAYBE COME TOGETHER WITH OTHER WITH THIS ISSUE. THERE SHOULD OF BEEN A RECALL BY NOW. I HAD MY OIL CHANGED AND WAS TOLD THAT MY BOOT IS BUSTED AND THAT I NEEDED TO REPLACE THE DRIVERS SIDE YET AGAIN AND I DO NOT HAVE 119.00 TO PAY MY LOCAL DODGE FOR THIS YET AGAIN! *TR

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 110,849.

I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE IN 2011. WHEN I BROUGHT TO MY MECHANIC FOR AN OIL CHANGE HE TOLD ME MY SUBFRAME (ENGINE CRADLE) WAS SEVERELY RUSTED AND CORRODED AND THAT I PROBABLY WOULDN'T MAKE IT THROUGH THE WINTER...THE PART COST AROUND $1200. ALONE WITHOUT LABOR. I TRIED TO SAVE UP THE MONEY BUT WE JUST COULDN'T DO IT AND WITHIN THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS MY MECHANIC HAS INFORMED ME THAT MY CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE UNTIL IT IS FIXED. HE ALSO ADVISE TO CHECK FOR A RECALL AND TO CALL CHRYSLER AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY TO DO. THEY SAY THERE WAS A SERVICE BULLETIN FOR THAT MATTER OF THE DEFECTIVE PART BUT ONLY FOR THE MONTH OF FEB 04-MARCH 04 AND MINE WAS MADE IN JUNE 04 AND THAT MY CAR EVEN THOUGH IT HAS THE SAME ISSUE IS EXEMPT FROM THE REPLACEMENT PART. SO I AM PAYING FOR A CAR THAT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE OF A DEFECTIVE PART THAT CHRYSLER REFUSES TO HELP ME WITH. IT IS NOT FROM NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR THIS CAR ONLY HAD 62K MILES ON IT WHEN I HAD PURCHASED IT AND MY FIRST OIL CHANGE CAME AT 65K MILES WHEN THE PROBLEM WAS FIRST NOTICED. AFTER RESEARCHING THE INTERNET I FOUND MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS OF THE EXACT SAME THING. I CONTACTED THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND THEY TRIED THEIR BEST TO HELP BUT BECAUSE MY CAR WAS 7 YEARS OLD IT WAS OUT OF THE WARRANTY TECHNICALLY EVEN THOUGH I STILL HAVE ONLY ABOUT 80K MILES ON IT. I WAS TOLD TO MAKE A COMPLAINT ON HERE IN HOPES OF POSSIBLY JOINING OTHERS TO WHERE THERE MAY END UP HAVING A RECALL ON THIS PART SEEING MY CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE AT ALL. *TR
I ORIGINALLY REPLACED THE MOTOR MOUNTS ON THIS VEHICLE IN AUGUST OF 2011. I AM HAVING TO REPLACE THEM FOR THE SECOND TIME NOW, JANUARY 2015 (MILEAGE 215,000). I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO REPLACE MOTOR MOUNTS MORE THAN ONE TIME IN THE LIFETIME OF THE VEHICLE. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE PROPERLY MAINTAINED BY THE SAME MECHANIC FOR SEVERAL YEARS. *TR
ABS LIGHT ON MY 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA KEEPS COMING ON AND GOING OFF. HAVE READ ON THE INTERNET THAT THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE PACIFICA'S. MY 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA'S BUILT IN JULY 2004 SUBFRAME (ENGINE CRADLE) IS RUSTING THROUGH A LOT. I HAVE READ NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND FEEL THAT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL ON THIS COMPONENT. I DON'T THINK THAT THIS PART SHOULD FAIL AFTER BEING ONLY A FEW YEARS OLD AND 65000 MILES AND BEING DRIVEN UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE HE NOTICED THAT THE SUB-FRAME HAD A FIST SIZE HOLE THAT HAS COMPLETELY COVERED WITH RUST. UPON DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS HE NOTICED THAT THE ENGINE WOULD SHAKE AS IF IT WERE GOING TO FALL OUT OF THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND ADVISED HIM THAT THEY WOULD NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 137,000.
2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA TOURING WITH 36,200 MILES HAS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT TIRES THAT HAVE AN AIR LOSE FROM THE FRONT TIRES OF OVER 5 POUNDS EACH WEEK OF AIR PRESSURE. CAUSE IS BELIEVED TO BE CORROSION OF THE WHEELS RESULTING FROM ELECTROLYSIS DUE TO CONTACT FROM THE CHROME WHEEL COVERS. THIS MUCH AIR LOSE COULD RESULT IN A DRIVING HAZARD IF TIRES ARE NOT CHECKED WEEKLY. IT WILL ALSO SHORTEN THE TIRE LIFE. *TR

SINCE I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE THE FRONT LOW BEAM LIGHTS HAVE WENT OUT NUMEROUS TIMES WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. I HAVE HAD THEM REPLACED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. EVEN THOUGH I CONTINUE TO REPLACE THE HEADLAMPS THEY KEEP GOING OUT AND MY BATTERY IS BEING DRAINED. AFTER 2 BATTERIES IN 3 YEARS I HAD THE ALTERNATOR CHECKED AND IT WAS IN GOOD CONDITION. I WAS TOLD TO LOOK UP A RECALL LIST WHERE I FOUND EXTERIOR LIGHTING 05V066000 AND I CALLED. I ALSO HAVE HAD A FUEL PUMP PROBLEM THAT SEEMS TO EXIST AND NO ONE CAN FIGURE OUT WAY. AFTER GETTING IT FIXED BY THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP TWICE MY VEHICLE WILL NOT PASS SMOG BECAUSE OF ANOTHER LEAK. I ALSO FOUND OUT THAT THERE ARE COMPLAINTS OF SOME SIMILAR ISSUES FUEL PUMP/POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE SOFTWARE 06V432000 AND I CALLED. PLEASE PUT THESE TO ISSUES ON THE RECALL LIST SO THAT AUTO OWNERS WILL BE SAFE ON THE ROAD AND CALIFORNIA'S AIR WILL NOT BE POLLUTED BY THE FUMES. *TR
MY 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA STARTED RUNNING TERRIBLE AT LOW SPEEDS. IT DOES NOT RUN SMOOTHLY, INSTEAD IT KIND OF CHUGS ALONG ALMOST LIKE IT IS MISSING OR LIKE I GOT A BAD TANK OF GAS. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THERE WAS NO SPECIFIC TIME FRAME WHEN THE PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,800.
