MUCH DIFFICULTY IN FILLING THE FUEL TANK, THE PUMP HANDLE WOULD CONTINUOUSLY SHUT OFF, AS THOUGH THE TANK WAS FULL, WE HAD TO REPEATEDLY OPERATE THE HANDLE OFF AND ON FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. THE FUEL GAUGE WOULD NEVER SHOW THE TANK AS FULL. IT WOULD ALSO, DURING NORMAL OPERATION, REACH HALF EMPTY, THEN PLUNGE TO EMPTY, SOMETIMES ILLUMINATING THE EMPTY LIGHT!! WE WERE TOLD BY OUR CHRYSLER SERVICE MANAGER, ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS, THAT OUR CAR WAS REPAIRED, IT WAS NOT REPAIRED !!!! $1500 ON A NEW FUEL TANK, AND HUNDREDS ON RENTAL CARS LATER, OUR CAR IS STILL NOT FIXED!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN SHE ADDED TWO AND A HALF GALLONS OF FUEL, THE FUEL GAUGE INDICATED THAT THE FUEL TANK WAS EMPTY AND THE LOW FUEL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED DAILY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
DRIVE AT ABOUT 60 MPH WHREN MY CAR JUST SHOUT DOWN . HAD NO STERTING OR BREAKS . LUCKY THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IT HAS HAPPED AND I KNEW TIO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND TURN THE KEY ,DROP IT IN DRAVE AND A AWY YOU GO . THE OTHER TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MANY TO COUNT I WAS SLOWING DOWN TO CORNER VERY SCARY WHEN YOU CANT STOP OR TURN YOUR WHEEL . NO WARNING LIGHTS OR SIGNS .
GEAR SHIFT LEVER STUCK IN PARK. HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO DEALER. THEY SAID MY VIN WASN'T ON THE RECALL LIST.
I HAD MY 2007 PACIFICA IN PARK POSITION WITH THE ENGINE ON. I PUT MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE TO REVERSE THE CAR OUT OF PARKING SPACE. THE GEAR SHIFT LEVER WOULD NOT RELEASE AND GO INTO REVERSE. I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO THE DEALER TO REPAIR. COST ME OVER $500 (PART #4880276-AB SHIFTER T21030407). BEING STUCK IN TRAFFIC IS VERY DANGEROUS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

ON A SEPARATE OCCASION, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
ENGINE RUSTS AND CRADLES LIKE IF IT'S GOING TO FALL OUT THE CAR. WHEN DRIVEN ENGINE SHAKES AND MOVES BACK AND FORTH MAKING A POUNDING SOUND. FEELS VERY UNSAFE.
WITHIN MINUTES OF PULLING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY MY 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA TOURING SIMPLY SHUT DOWN. UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS A SHOCK TO ME WHEN I LOST ACCELERATION AND POWER STEERING IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING AND IT TOOK ME A FEW SECONDS TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED. I PULLED OVER WITH SOME DIFFICULTY AND PUT THE CAR INTO PARK. I WAS ABLE TO RE-START THE VEHICLE AND RETURNED HOME. SINCE THAT DATE, MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE AS IT WAS OUR TEENAGER'S PRIMARY MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT. I SHUDDER TO THINK WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO HER AS SHE IS A NEW DRIVER AND MY OWN REACTION TO THE INCIDENT WAS INAPPROPRIATE. I SHOULD HAVE PUT THE CAR INTO NEUTRAL AND RE-STARTED IT, BUT THANK GOD I DID LIVE AND LEARN. SINCE THAT INCIDENT MY HUSBAND HAS EXPERIENCED THE SAME LOSS OF POWER ON THREE ADDITIONAL OCCASIONS. I AM IN CONSTANT FEAR THAT THE CAR WILL SHUT DOWN WHILE PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC. IT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED ONCE. THANKFULLY OTHER DRIVERS WERE AWARE AND WERE ABLE TO SLOW DOWN IN TIME FOR MY HUSBAND TO RE-COVER. AS I HAVE READ MANY OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS CONCERNING MY VEHICLE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE, I AM HOPEFUL THAT CHRYSLER WILL ADDRESS THE PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE ENDS UP INJURED OR DEAD.
SEEMS REAR DRIVE SHAFT IS BAD- THERE IS NO KNOWN RECALL I CAN FIND - BUT MY MECHANIC SAYS THE PARTS ARE UNAVAILABLE OR BACK ORDERED- SO IT MAKES ME WONDER IF NO PARTS ARE AVAILABLE ARE ALL THESE VEHICLES HAVING PROBLEMS! *TR
THIS LETTER IS TO FILE A COMPLAINT REGARDING CHRYSLER GROUP LLC FOR REPAIRS MADE TO A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICAS FRONT ENGINE CRADLE WITHIN A 10-YEAR OR 150,000 PERIOD SIMILAR TO THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERAGE OF A PREVIOUS RECALL TO CHRYSLER PACIFICA MODEL YEARS 2004-2005. I EXPERIENCED AN ENGINE CRADLE SAFETY CONCERN AND THIS MATTER WAS SIMILAR TO THAT INCLUDED IN THE CHRYSLER PACIFICA MODEL YEARS 2004-2005 RECALL. THE PERFORATION OF CORROSION ON THE ENGINE CRADLE WAS A SAFETY HAZARD AND AS A RESULT WOULD NOT PASS THE VIRGINIA SAFETY INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS, THUS REQUIRING REPAIR. THREE ATTEMPTS WERE MADE TO FIND A USED PART, BUT ALL PARTS RECEIVED HAD CORROSION IN THE SAME PLACE. THE REPAIR WAS MADE WITH CHRYSLER OEM PARTS. SINCE THIS SAFETY ISSUE WAS A SIMILAR THE PREVIOUS CHRYSLER RECALL, AND TO CORRECT A SAFETY HAZARD, I REQUEST REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE REPAIR.

CAR TURNS OFF WHILE RUNING AT SPEEDWAY. TWICE AT 4 MIN. THAT IS NOTHING NEW THIS HAPPENS EVERY DAY MOST TIMES AT THE FIRST 5/10 MIN. OF DRIVINGAT STREETS. BUT TODAY'S WAS AFTER 30 MIN . THERE IS WAY I WENT TO EXPRESS WAY. I ALREADY SPEND MONEY AND TO MUCH TIME AT MECHANICS THEY CANT FOUND WHATS WRONG. BUT AT INTERNER I FOUND THIS IS A COMMON ISSUES WHIT THIS TYPE OF CARS. *JS
THE REVERSE CLUTCH BURNT OUT. THE CAR WAS PARKED AND WOULDN'T GO IN REVERSE. THE CAR IS IN LIMP MODE. THE RPMS ARE RANGING HIGH BECAUSE IT CAN'T SHIFT PROPERLY. THE TRANSMISSION IS ABOUT TO GO OUT COMPLETELY. *TR
2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE STALLING WHILE DRIVING. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS AT THE DEALER FOR A MONTH, WITH NO REMEDY IN SIGHT. THE CLOCKSPRING WAS REPLACED. HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO STALLED. THE DEALER STATED THE CLOCKSPRING WAS REPLACED, BECAUSE THERE WAS A LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE STEERING WHEEL VEERED TO THE RIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES FOR THE FAILURE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE BUSHING, THE CRADLE, AND THE MOTOR MOUNTS; HOWEVER, THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 67,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD JERK. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE JERKING WOULD HAPPEN OFTEN WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BATTERY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, HOWEVER THE FAILURE RECURRED FOUR DAYS LATER ACCORDING TO THE CONTACT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE CROSS MEMBER HAD CORRODED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
POWER STEERING FAILS COMPLETELY FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS OR MORE. THIS OCCURS WHEN THE VEHICLE TRAVELS THROUGH ANY WATER ON THE ROAD THAT MAY SPLASH INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE STEERING BELT GETS WET AND WILL SLIP (MAKING A SCREECHING NOISE UNTIL IT SPINS OFF THE WATER AND DRIES). THE POWER ASSISTED STEERING WILL STOP COMPLETELY NOT ALLOWING THE DRIVER TO MANEUVER THE VEHICLE UNTIL THE POWER STEERING IS RESTORED. THIS PROBLEM WILL CAUSE THE DRIVER NOT TO BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF THE VEHICLE IN ANY DIRECTION TO COMPLETE A TURN OR AVOID A COLLISION! IT IS VERY DANGEROUS AND CAN OCCUR WITHOUT WARNING. WE ARE LOOKING INTO THE PROBLEM. IT MAYBE THAT A SPLASH GUARD WAS LEFT OFF AND NOT REPLACE DURING A PREVIOUS SERVICE. THIS HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED TO BE THE FIX. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR FURTHER INSPECTION AND DIAGNOSIS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000. THE TRACTION CONTROL AND ESP LIGHTS HAVE BEEN ON FOR MONTHS, DEALER STATES THAT THE PROBLEM IS THE CLOCKSPRING, BUT PART IS NOT AVAILABLE. SO CURRENTLY THE ESP AND TRACTION CONTROL, BOTH OF WHICH ARE SAFETY FEATURES ARE NOT FUNCTIONING AND I CAN NOT REPAIR CAUSE PART IS NOT READILY AVAILABLE, I FEEL THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL TO COVER THIS SAFETY CONCERN.
THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT MY CAR HAS STALLED OUT WHILE GOING UNDER 40 MPH, ALSO WHEN MAKING A TURN IT WILL STALL AND I HAVE NO BRAKES OR POWER STEERING! IT IS VERY SCARY. I ALMOST GOT HIT BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE!! I HAVE RESEARCHED IT AND FOUND THAT THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE CHRYSLER PACIFICA'S STALLING UNDER THE SAME CONDITIONS AS MINE. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL OR SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS MY FAMILY CAR AND I HAVE TWO DAUGHTERS UNDER THE AGE OF 3. I DO NOT WANT OR NEED A FATALITY WRECK TO OCCUR BEFORE THEY DO SOMETHING! I AM EXTREMELY SCARED TO DRIVE NOW AND IT IS OUR ONLY VEHICLE! *TR
I WAS SLOWING DOWN TO YIELD AT A ROTARY AND MY CAR SUDDENLY SHUT DOWN CAUSING THE BRAKES AND STEERING TO NOT WORK ALMOST CAUSING A MAJOR ACCIDENT. THE SAME THING OCCURRED SEVERAL MINUTES LATER. *TR
I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH WHEN MY POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING AND I NOTICED MY ENGINE HAD ALSO STOPPED. I STRUGGLED TO STEER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THIS HAS HAPPENED 2 MORE TIMES (FOR A TOTAL OF 3 TIMES). ALL WHEN I WAS DRIVING BETWEEN 30 - 40 MPH. THE FIRST INDICATION OF A PROBLEM IS WHEN I LOOSE POWER STEERING AND NOTICE THE ENGINE HAS CUT-OUT. *TR
ON SEPTEMBER 15TH I WAS TAKING MY SON TO SCHOOL WHEN ALL OF MY IDIOT LIGHTS CAME ON AND STAYED ON. ONCE I GOT BACK HOME AND TURNED THE CAR OFF I NOTICED THAT SOMETHING WAS STILL RUNNING. AFTER OPENING THE HOOD I REALIZED IT WAS MY ABS SYSTEM THAT WANT SHUTTING OFF. I WAS ABLE TO DISCONNECT THE SENSOR BUT HAVE BEEN TOO FEARFUL TO DRIVE IT SINCE THEN. MY FATHER RAN A CODE CHECKER AND NOTHING WAS SHOWING UP EXCEPT THE FUEL CAP (WHICH WAS REPLACED BUT STILL SHOWING THAT WARNING LIGHT). HE DROVE THE CAR AND NOTICED THAT THE SPEEDOMETER WASN'T WORKING. *TR
I HAVE A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA WITH A SAFETY PROBLEM. WARNING LIGHTS ON THE IP INDICATE A FAILURE, ILLUMINATING ?ESP/BAS? [ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM/BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM]. I HAVE HAD THREE DEALERS RUN THE DIAGNOSTIC CODES AND OTHER TESTS TELL ME THERE IS A ?CLOCKSPRING? FAILURE IN THE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR, WHICH NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. CHRYSLER WILL NOT PROVIDE REPAIR REPLACEMENT PARTS TO THE DEALER SO THIS SAFETY PROBLEM CAN BE CORRECTED. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PRODUCT FAILURE SINCE I COULD LOSE CONTROL OF THE CHRYSLER PACIFICA UNDER EXTREME BRAKING OR IN CASE OF A SKID ON A SLIPPERY ROAD SURFACE. SINCE CHRYSLER IS NOT WILLING TO CORRECT THIS SAFETY DEFECT, THEY MUST BE COMPELLED TO RECALL THE CHRYSLER PACIFICA FOR THE SAFETY OF THE DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS. *TR
WARNING LIGHTS ON THE IP INDICATE A FAILURE, ILLUMINATING "ESP/BAS" [ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM/BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM]. THREE DEALERS RAN THE DIAGNOSTIC CODES AND HAVE TOLD ME THERE IS A "CLOCKSPRING" FAILURE IN THE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR, WHICH NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PRODUCT FAILURE SINCE I COULD LOSE CONTROL OF THE CHRYSLER PACIFICA UNDER EXTREME BRAKING OR IN CASE OF A SKID ON A SLIPPERY ROAD SURFACE. CHRYSLER INITIALLY SAID THEY DO NOT HAVE THIS PART AVAILABLE. LATER, THEY CLAIMED I WOULD BE ABLE TO GET THE PART - IN JANUARY - THE FEBRUARY- NOW MARCH. STILL NO PART AVAILABLE. CHRYSLER MUST BE COMPELLED TO RECALL THE 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA FOR THE SAFETY OF THE DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS - AND FIX THIS DANGEROUS DEFECT. *TR
I PURCHASED A VEHICLE END OF MAY 2014. VEHICLE HAS SINCE STARTED CUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING WITH NO WARNING. I HAVE CALLED CHRYSLER AND WAS REFERRED TO ONE OF THERE DEALERS IN OAKVILLE CONNECTICUT. THEY HAD THE CAR FOR A WEEK AND WAS UNABLE TO FIND THE PROBLEM. I TOOK IT HOME AND THE NEXT DAY THE CAR SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING, I CALLED THE DEALER AGAIN AND WAS TOLD TO BRING IT BACK AND ITS BEEN THERE SINCE SEPTEMBER 2, 2014 AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT FOUND PROBLEM. ITS VERY FRUSTRATING THAT I HAVE PURCHASED A VEHICLE FOR SAFE DRIVING AND I FEAR FOR MY FAMILY AND MYSELF TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND GETTING HURT. *TR
VEHICLE COULDN'T PASS EMISSIONS, HAD TO TAKE IT SHOP FOR SMALL EVAP LEAK. THIS SERVICE COST ME $900 TO FIX AND DURING SERVICE FUEL PUMP MODULE NEEDED REPLACING DO TO HOW CAR WAS MADE TO FIX LEAKAGE. WE WERE DRIVING. I ASKED MY HUSBAND TO CLEAN THE WINDSHIELD. AS SOON AS HE PULLED THE WIPER STEM, THE HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT. THE CAR RESTARTED, BUT THE HEADLIGHTS WOULDN'T COME BACK ON. WE PULLED OVER AGAIN AND OPENED THE HOOD. THE CAR WOULD RESTART, BUT NOW THE DASH CLUSTER WAS OUT ALONG WITH THE HEADLIGHTS. WE TURNED THE ENGINE OFF AND WEIRDLY, THE HEADLIGHTS CAME ON. THEY WERE FLASHING ON AND OFF, OVER AND OVER. WITHIN THE NEXT TEN MINUTES THE CAR WOULD START BUT WOULDN'T SHIFT OUT OF PARK. FROM THERE THE ARMREST CONTROLS STOPPED FUNCTIONING, AND EVENTUALLY THE CAR JUST CHATTERED WHEN THE KEY WAS TURNED. THEN IT WOULDN'T EVEN DO THAT. IT COMPLETELY DIED. FOUR WEEKS AND $1600 LATER, WE HAVE A NEW TIPM L. THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WAS FRIED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER ENGAGING THE COAST BUTTON ON THE CRUISE CONTROL, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED TO 70 MPH IN SECONDS. THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKES AND WAS ABLE TO DEACTIVATE THE CRUISE CONTROL. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000.
I WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT. WHEN I PUT MY FOOT ON THE ACCELERATOR TO RESUME DRIVING, THE CAR BEGAN TO SHAKE AND THEN IT CUT OFF. I HAD TO PULL OVER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. IF A CAR HAD BEEN DRIVING BEHIND ME FAST, I COULD HAVE GOTTEN HIT IN THE BACK WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN TRAUMATIC OR EVEN FATAL. I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED. THE DEALERSHIP THAT IT WAS TAKEN TO DIAGNOSED THE MAJOR PROBLEM AS THE 2 FUEL PUMPS NEEDED REPLACING; IN ADDITION TO OTHER ITEMS. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 126,000 MILES. THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE PACIFICA (2006 AND 2008 MODELS AS WELL). CHRYSLER NEEDS TO ADMIT THAT THEIR FUEL PUMPS ARE FAULTY AND REPLACE THEM BEFORE A FATALITY HAPPENS AND, IN ADDITION TO REPLACING THE PUMPS, THEY ARE FACED WITH LAWSUITS. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLOCKSPRING (PART NUMBER 68281393AB) NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER FAILED TO PRODUCE THE REQUIRED PART TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT AND MECHANIC CONTACTED THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER NUMEROUS TIMES DURING THE 18 MONTHS TO PURCHASE THE PARTS, BUT WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 148,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED EACH TIME; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, CAR LOST POWER AND STEERING BECAME VERY DIFFICULT. AFTER REACHING A STOP I PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND WAS ABLE TO RESTART IT. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED ON 5 SEPARATE OCCASIONS, WITH CHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP SERVICE WAS NOT HELPFUL IN REMEDYING THIS PROBLEM. ADDITIONALLY, DESPITE RECALLS FOR THIS PROBLEM IN PREVIOUS YEARS, THERE IS NO APPARENT SOLUTION FOR THIS. THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED BOTH IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD AND ON SURFACE STREETS, WHICH MAKE THIS A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY HAZARD AS THERE IS MINIMAL (IF ANY) OPPORTUNITY TO GET THE VEHICLE TO A SAFE LOCATION TO RE-START. I HAVE HAD REGULAR SERVICE TO THE VEHICLE AND IT HAS BEEN USED PRIMARILY FOR WORK AND ERRANDS. HOWEVER, THE MOTOR MOUNTS HAVE HAD TO BE REPLACED 3 TIMES AND THIS LATEST ISSUE HAS COMPOUNDED THE PROBLEM. *TR

SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENED IN TWO MONTHS. DRIVING IN DRY, PLEASANT WEATHER CONDITIONS ON RESIDENTIAL ROAD LESS THAN 30 MPH. CAR STALLED--LOST POWER STEERING, BRAKES, ETC. OIL LIGHT DEFINITELY WAS ON. COASTED TO SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED CAR OFF THEN ON. CAR STARTED RIGHT BACK UP. OIL LIGHT WAS OFF NOW. TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC, WHO SAID NO COMPUTER CODE WAS GENERATED, ALTHOUGH THERE WAS AN ABS CODE (WHICH APPEARED TO BE TOTALLY UNRELATED). ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY APPEARED CLEAN, BUT TOOK IT APART AND CHECKED IT. THIS IS A DANGEROUS CONDITION SIMILAR TO OTHER STALLING PROBLEMS I HAVE READ ABOUT ON 2004-06 PACIFICAS, AND THAT HAD LED TO A RECALL ON OLDER MODELS. WHILE DRIVING THE ELECTRICAL PANELS ARE FLUSHING MULTIPLE TIME SOME KIND OF WARNING NOISE SOUND AND THEN THE DASH LIGHT STAYS ON WITH ALL THE LIGHTS STIES ON AND THE ENGINE RUNS MORALLY, WE HAVE TO PULL OVER AND TURN THE ENGINE OFF AND RESTART IT AND AFTER A FEW MILES THE SAME REPEATS AGAIN AND AGAIN, THE DEALER DOSE NOT KNOW ABOUT IT AND THEY WANTS TO CHANGE MULTIPLE PART TO FIGURE TO FIX THE ISSUE, WHICH IS COSTLY AND EXPENSIVE TOO, AND PLUS WE HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER VEHICLE FOR THE DAILY NEED THAT TAKE KIDS TO SCHOOL AND DAILY GROCERY SHOPPING. OUR 2007 PACIFICA CONTINUES TO HAVE PROBLEMS. ONE CHRYSLER DEALER STATED IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE AND GOOD TO GO. 2 DAYS LATER STUDS ON TIRE BROKE OFF. OTHER SIDE STUDS WERE LOOSE AND HAD TO BE TIGHTENED. WE TOOK VEHICLE TO ANOTHER CHRYSLER DEALER WHO INSPECTED VEHICLE AND HAD A LIST OF THINGS WRONG INCLUDING ,REAR AND FRONT MOTOR MOUNTS BEING BROKE. POWER STEERING FLUID LEAKING, TRANSMISSION LINES LEAKING, REAR BRAKE PADS AND FRONT ROTORS NEED REPLACING AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT RIGHT CAMBER OFF IN FRONT AND REAR ALIGNMENT OFF AND RIGHT TOE IS OFF. THE FIRST DEALER STATED THEY DID A FRONT AND REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND LESS THAN3 WEEKS LATER THE ALIGNMENT IS THAT FAR OFF. SOMETHING RADICALLY WRONG WITH THIS VEHICLE, AND/OR FIRST CHRYSLER DEALER. ALL OF THIS AFTER GOING THROUGH 3 PLUS SETS OF SHOCKS AND 2 TIE ROD ENDS AND NOW ANOTHER WHEEL ALIGNMENT! VERY UNSAFE, VEHICLE WITH STILL UNDIAGNOSED REASON FOR ALL THIS. CHRYSLER INSISTS THE VEHICLE CAN BE REPAIRED. WE DO NOT TRUST THAT STATEMENT ANY LONGER. IT IS OUR BELIEF THAT THIS CAR IS DEFECTIVE. WE BELIEVE SOMETHING IN THE SUSPENSION OR DESIGN IS CAUSING ALL OF THESE PARTS TO CONTINUE BREAKING, AND CONTINUOUS ALIGNMENT,TIRE, BRAKE PROBLEMS. NOW MOTOR MOUNTS AND POWER STEERING, AND TRANSMISSION LEAKS. WE DID NOT GET ANY VALUE FROM THIS CAR PURCHASE. CHRYSLER SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEFECTIVE CAR WE ARE STUCK WITH. WE COULD HAVE BEEN INJURED TWICE ALREADY BY TIRES ALMOST FALLING OF CAR. NOW WE NEED TO WORRY ABOUT FIRES FROM LEAKING LINES AND ALSO WORRY ABOUT BROKEN MOTOR MOUNTS. HELP US PLEASE! THE FUEL GAUGE IS NOT SHOWING CORRECTLY. IT READS THAT THE FUEL TANK IS HALF FULL THEN IT SUDDENLY DROPS TO EMPTY. THE MILES TO EMPTY GAUGE IS NOT CALCULATING CORRECTLY EITHER. YOU CAN NOT TELL HOW FAR YOU REALLY CAN GO BEFORE THE CAR WILL RUN OUT OF GAS. WHEN I ATTEMPT TO FILL THE FUEL TANK, IT WILL NOT LET THE FUEL FLOW INTO THE FUEL TANK. IT STOPS AS IF IT IS FULL, BUT IT IS NOT. *TR
ABOUT A WEEK PRIOR THE VEH WAS DRIVING VERY SLUGGISH AND WOULD NOT RESUME NORMAL UNTIL REACHING 50MPH, THEN THE NEXT WEEK WHILE DRIVING AT ABOUT 35MPH THE VEH BEGAN SHAKING VERY BAD FORCING ME TO DROP SPEED TO ABOUT 15MPH. TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC AND WAS TOLD I NEEDED A REAR DRIVE SHAFT AND ENGINE MOUNTS AND FROM WHAT I HEAR THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE VEHS.
