I WAS ON CHAT WITH A REP FROM MANUFACTURER,: CHRYSLER, THIS IS NO RECALL-SEE BELOW:2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY RECALL - #10V008000 RECALL FOR AIR BAGS : FRONTAL : SENSOR/CONTROL MODULE CHRYSLER IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2005-2006 DODGE CARAVAN, GRAND CARAVAN AND CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY VEHICLES ORIGINALLY SOLD IN OR CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN THE STATES OF CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, IOWA, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, KANSAS, KENTUCKY, MASSACHUSETTS, MAINE, MARYLAND, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, NORTH DAKOTA, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, SOUTH DAKOTA, TENNESSEE, UTAH, VERMONT, VIRGINIA, WEST VIRGINIA, WISCONSIN, ALASKA AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. THE FRONT CRASH SENSORS MAY CRACK UNDER CERTAIN ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND ALLOW WATER TO ENTER INTO THE SENSOR. THIS CAN CAUSE THE SENSOR TO BECOME INOPERATIVE AND ILLUMINATE THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT. THESE SENSORS WERE ADDED TO ENHANCE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE AIRBAG SYSTEM IN CERTAIN FRONTAL CRASHES.
POWER LOCKS DONT WORK. TRIED RESETTING IOD FUSE AND UNPLUGGING BATTERY. LOCKS WORKS A FEW TIMES THEN STOPS WORKING. THIS IS A SAFETY AND SECURITY FEATURE. I HAVE READ SO MANY COMPLAINTS ON THIS ISSUE. PASSENGER SEAT BELT DOES NOT SET WHEN PUT ON. IF IN AN ACCIDENT PASSENGERS SE AS T BELT WILL NOT RESTRAIN. WE JUST BOUGHT THIS VAN AND THE TWO PREVIOUS OWNERS SAID LOCKS HASN'T WORKED CORRECTLY SINCE 2005.
VAN WAS SITTING STILL AND WENT TO START. LOUD NOISE AND VIBRATION CAME FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT. POPPED HOOD AND FOUND ALTERNATOR BROKE LOOSE FROM MOUNTINGS. ALTERNATOR MOUNTING ON THE TIMING CHAIN COVER BROKE OFF. TOOK TO SHOP TO GET REPAIR EVALUATED. CHRYSLER HAS SINCE MODIFIED THE TIMING CHAIN COVER FROM ORIGINAL DESIGN. THIS MODIFICATION REQUIRES NEW TIMING SPROCKETS AND CHAINS. POSSIBLE DESIGN FLAW IN ORIGINAL DESIGN? REPAIR IS ALMOST AS MUCH AS THE VEHICLE CURRENT VALUE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS BOUGHT, THE KEY FOB FAILED TO LOCK THE DOORS AUTOMATICALLY. IN ADDITION, THE POWER DOOR SWITCH FAILED TO LOCK THE DOORS. THE FAILURE OCCURRED CONSTANTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE KEY FOB WAS WORKING CORRECTLY AND THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 117,000.
SOMETIMES WHEN I TURN THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH ON, THE HEADLIGHTS DO NOT COME ON. I HAVE NOTICED IT HAPPENS STATIONARY AND IN MOTION.
I HAD A FLAT ON MY MINI VAN. WHILE TRYING TO LOWER THE SPARE TIRE I FOUND IT STUCK IN PLACE. THE SAFETY CATCH WILL NOT RELEASE AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCESS THE SPARE WITHOUT COMPROMISING YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY BY CRAWLING UNDER THE VAN. IF THIS HAD BEEN MY WIFE AND HAD I NOT BEEN AT HOME WHEN I FOUND THE FLAT THIS COULD HAVE TURNED INTO A LIFE THREATINING ORDEAL. WHY ISN'T ANYONE ADDRESS IN THIS WELL KNOWN ISSUE.
POWER STEERING PUMP WENT BAD.
THE POWER STEERING STOPS WORKING WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN. THE BATTERY LIGHT WILL ILLUMINATE AND WARNING CHIME IS HEARD WHEN THIS HAPPENS. VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN THE WHEEL WHILE IN MOTION, AT ANY SPEED. HAS HAPPENED WHILE PULLING OUT OF DRIVEWAY, TURNING INTO A BANK PARKING LOT AND ANOTHER TIME WHILE AT AN INTERSECTION. TOOK THE VAN INTO A REPAIR SHOP, MECHANIC SAID BELT WAS IN GOOD SHAPE AND TENSION ON BELT WAS FINE, DIDN'T NEED REPLACING. HE HAD NO OTHER EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THIS WOULD OCCUR. HAS HAPPENED TO US ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS NOW. AFRAID TO DRIVE VAN WHEN IT IS WET OUTSIDE.
AIR BAG"ON" LIGHT STAYS ON ALL THE TIME WHEN STARTED UP,RUNNING
2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY, 96,000 MILES, LOSES POWER AND STEERING LOCKS WHEN DRIVEN THROUGH ANY WETNESS. THE VAN IS UNCONTROLLABLE AND SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS. NO ONE CAN SAY FOR CERTAIN WHAT IS CAUSING IT THEREFOR THERE IS NO RELIABLE REPAIRS. IT COULD JUST BE LIGHT RAIN AND NO PUDDLES BUT EXPOSURE TO WETNESS SEEMS TO BE THE COMMON DENOMINATOR. IT HAS OCCURRED TURNING LEAVING OUR DRIVEWAY, I LANDED ON MY NEIGHBORS LAWN AND IT HAS OCCURRED AT 50 MPH AND CAUSED ME TO DRIFT INTO ON COMING TRAFFIC. THE BATTERY LIGHT COMES ONE AND THE RADIO SHUTS OFF WHEN IT HAPPENS. I'M TERRIFIED TO DRIVE IT. CHRYSLER SAID THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS BUT THE DISCUSSIONS OUT ON THE INTERNET TELL A VERY DIFFERENT STORY. IF WE COULD HAVE A CLEAR RECOMMENDATION ON HOW TO FIX THIS IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I HOPE MY FAMILY DOES NOT DIE IN THIS VAN, OR GOODNESS FORBID WE HURT SOMEONE ELSE. WE HAVE FEW OPTIONS FINANCIALLY AND NO CERTAINTY TO WHAT IS CAUSING THIS. WE CANNOT REPLACE EVERYTHING UNDER THE HOOD AND HOPE THIS GOES AWAY, ONLY TO FIND OUT WHEN WE ARE DRIVING SOMEWHERE WE CANNOT GET THE VAN OUT OF THE PATH OF ON COMING TRAFFIC. PLEASE HELP.
WHILE DRIVING ON RURAL ROAD AT NIGHT, SHORTLY AFTER TURNING RIGHT AND DISABLING WINDSHEILD WIPERS: THE HEADLIGHTS AND ENTIRE INSTRUMENTAL PANEL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF WORKING WITHOUT WARNING. PULLING BACK ON THE BLINKER LEVER AND HOLDING IT BACK ACTIVATED THE BRIGHTS AND THOSE WORKED. AFTER TOGGLING HEADLIGHT SWITCH OFF AND BACK ON, INSTRUMENT PANEL AND HEADLIGHTS REACTIVATED. THIS FAILURE MODE DOESN'T EXACTLY MATCH EA11010, WHICH CLAIMS THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL REMAINS IN OPERATION WHILE ONLY THE HEADLIGHTS FAIL. HOWEVER I AM UNCLEAR ON WHETHER MY VAN'S PROBLEM COULD STILL BE AT LEAST PARTLY CAUSED BY THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH, SO I WILL REPLACE IT AT MY OWN COST. MY CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP TELLS ME THEY WILL ONLY REPLACE THE SWITCH UNDER WARRANTY IF THEY CAN REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM, AND OTHERWISE THEY WILL CHARGE A $150 DIAGNOSTIC FEE... MORE THAN THE COST OF THE SWITCH! I'M NOT FALLING FOR THAT TRICK! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE DECISION TO NOT RESOLVE EA11010 WITH A RECALL. HEADLIGHTS FAILING WITHOUT WARNING AT ANY TIME IS A REAL SAFETY ISSUE, AND IT IS TOO INTERMITTENT TO DIAGNOSE ON DEMAND. THUS A RECALL IS THE ONLY APPROPRIATE RESPONSE TO ENSURE SAFETY. INSTEAD, IN ORDER TO PROACTIVELY PROTECT MY FAMILY, I AM FORCED TO SPEND MY OWN MONEY FOR REPLACEMENT. I THOUGHT THE NHTSA WAS HERE TO HELP?
VEHICLE SMELLS LIKE GASOLINE AFTER EACH USE. FUEL IS VISIBLY LEAKING AT THE FUEL LINE CONNECTION TO THE FUEL TANK. THE VIN SEARCH COMES UP WITHOUT RESULTS BUT THE MAKE/MODEL SEARCH LISTS A FUEL LINE RECALL. WHAT GIVES?
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY. WHILE TRAVELING 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. AFTER TEN MINUTES, THE VEHICLE RESTARTED. WHEN THE FUEL TANK WAS HALF FULL, THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY RAN OUT OF FUEL. IN ADDITION, THE WARNING LIGHTS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL NO LONGER ILLUMINATED AND THE SEAT BELT SENSOR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 265,000.
AIRBAG SHOWED AS FAILED UPON STARTING MY MINIVAN. TOOK THE VAN TO MY DEALER AND WAS TOLD THE SENSORS WERE BAD AND I ORDERED NEW SENSORS. CONTACTED CHRYSLER AS PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 10V008000, NHTSA ACTION NUMBER: RQ09003. AND WAS TOLD MY CAR WASN'T ON RECALL, IF IT WAS ADDED THEY WOULD LET ME KNOW. INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTS FLICKER TO VARYING DEGREES ON AN INTERMITTENT BASIS. THIS ELECTRICAL PROBLEM SOMETIMES CAUSES THE ENGINE TO DIE WHILE CAR IS IN TRANSIT THEREBY CREATING A SAFETY ISSUE. IT ALSO IS A DANGER AND ANNOYANCE TO ONCOMING TRAFFIC AT NIGHT. SEVERAL ENTITIES HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM, INCLUDING ATTEMPTS BY MY LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER. NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. IT IS STILL ONGOING AS OF 2-16-16 AND BEGAN SHORTLY AFTER I PURCHASED THE CAR IN 2007.
THE HEADLIGHTS FAILED NUMEROUS TIMES AT NIGHT WHILE DRIVING IN BOCA RATON, FLORIDA ON FEBRUARY 12, 2016. SERVICE MANAGER AT MASSEY YARDLEY DENIED EXTENDED WARRANTY TO REPLACE THE FAULTY HEADLIGHT SWITCH. CASE MANAGER, LAURA DENIED EXTENDED WARRANTY TO REPLACE THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH.
2005 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM PROBLEMS. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE SENSOR AND VALVE CAP. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED CONSTANTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V008000 (AIR BAGS), BUT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 241,000.
POSSIBLE TAKATA RECALL. DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG MALFUNCTION - DID NOT DEPLOY. UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME AS TO THE SPECIFIC MECHANICAL PART OF THE AIRBAG SYSTEM THAT MALFUNCTIONED IN THIS ACCIDENT. ACCIDENT: DRIVER OF (VEHICLE NO.2) WAS DRIVING A 2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY ON HIGHWAY WHEN HE WAS HIT ON THE LEFT REAR SIDE/REAR END OF THE VEHICLE. THE POLICE REPORT STATES THAT VEHICLE NO. 1 WAS CHANGING LANES AND HIT VEHICLE NO. 2 CAUSING HIM TO LOSE CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE. AS A RESULT OF THE IMPACT FROM VEHICLE NO. 1, VEHICLE NO. 2 CRASHED INTO A MEDIAN WALL AND WAS TAKEN BY AMBULANCE TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL TO TREAT HIS INJURIES. SEE POLICE REPORT. UPON IMPACT, THE AIR BAG ON THE PASSENGER SIDE DEPLOYED BUT THE DRIVER SIDE DID NOT CAUSING GREAT INJURY TO THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE NO. 2. PLEASE SEE PHOTO OF THE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE WHERE IS SHOWS THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WAS DEPLOYED BUT NOT THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. ROAD CONDITIONS WERE DRY. THE UNSAFE CONDITION WAS THAT THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY UPON IMPACT THEREBY CAUSING THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE NO. 2 TO INCUR INJURIES THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED IF THE AIRBAG HAD DEPLOYED AS IT WAS EXPECTED TO. IT IS NOTED ON THE POLICE REPORT THAT THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY.
WHEN THE WEATHER IS 55 DEGREES OR COLDER MY BACK DOOR ON MY MINIVAN WILL NOT STAY UP AND OPEN. AFTER IT GOES UP IT COMES BACK DOWN IMMEDIATELY. THIS VAN HAS A HANDICAPPED LIFT FOR A MOBILITY SCOOTER IN IT FOR INSIDE THE VAN. IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE BACK DOOR TO STAY UP AND OPEN TO USE THE CONTROLS TO BRING THE LIFT IN AND OUT OF THE MINIVAN. THE BACK DOOR STAYS UP AND OPEN IN WARMER WEATHER BUT IT IMMEDIATELY COMES BACK DOWN AND CLOSES IN COOLER WEATHER. I PURCHASED THE MINIVAN WITH THE LIFT AND SCOOTER FROM A PRIVATE OWNER 2 1/2 YEARS AGO. THEY USED THE MINIVAN AND LIFT IN ONLY WARMER WEATHER. HOW DO I GET THE BACK DOOR TO STAY UP AND OPEN SO I CAN USE THE LIFT FOR MY SCOOTER ALL YEAR AROUND? IS THERE A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM? THE MINIVAN WAS IN A STATIONARY POSITION ON FLAT ASPHALT PAVEMENT AND THE MINIVAN WAS TURNED OFF IN ALL INCIDENTS. UNFORTUNATELY AT THIS TIME I DO NOT HAVE A PHOTO OF THE BACKDOOR OR LIFT BUT I CAN TAKE PICTURES IF NEEDED.
I BEGAN HAVING THE EXACT SAME COMPLAINT AS THE 2004-5 DODGE VANS HAVE WITH REGARD TO STALLING ABOUT 1 MINUTE AFTER A FILL UP. IT HAS HAPPENED AT EVERY FILL UP SINCE DECEMBER 2015, AND SPORADICALLY BEFORE, BUT I DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE SOURCE OF THE STALLING. I CALLED CHRYSLER AND THEY TOLD ME MY VAN WAS MADE IN THE WINDSOR (AFFECTED PLANT) ON 6-10-2005 BUT THAT THE RECALL/REPAIR SHUT OFF IN APRIL, I BELIEVE. IT SEEMS TOO BIG A COINCIDENCE TO ME. THIS HAS BEEN DANGEROUS SINCE ON SOME TRIPS, I AM ON THE INTERSTATE GETTING GAS AND GET BACK ON WHEN THE STALL OCCURS. IS THERE ANY RECOURSE FOR ME? IT HAS BEEN OCCURING EVER SINCE DECEMBER, THAT IS WHEN IT STARTED, AT LEAST THAT IS WHEN IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING WITHOUT LETUP.
UNSTABLE DASH, WARNING LIGHTS, CUT OFF WHILE IDLING, TRACTION CONTROL CIRCUIT. AS DESCRIBED IN MANY POSTINGS FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS AS FAR BACK AS 1996. AS DESCRIBED IN THE POST. THESE PROBLEMS ARE WELL KNOWN TO CHRYSLER AND THEIR DEALERSHIPS BUT YOU RECEIVE NO HELP IN SOLVING THESE PROBLEMS WITHOUT SPENDING $$$$ AND STILL NO RELIEF. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE LIGHT ON THE DASH KEEPS COMING ON AND THEN GOING OFF. I HAVE HAD THIS REPLACED 4 TIMES AND EACH TIME NOT AT A VERY CHEAP PRICE. YET THERE STILL SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR. THIS COMES ON RIGHT AFTER START UP OF THE VEHICLE AND THEN GOES ON AND OFF AS YOU DRIVE.
WAS DRIVING THROUGH AN INTERSECTION (AFTER STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT) AND VEHICLE SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION WITH NO WARNING. ALSO, FOR MONTHS NOW, THE LIGHTS AND GAUGES IN DASHBOARD HAVE FLICKERED ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING... WE TOOK IT TO DEALER AND THEY RE-SET THE COMPUTER BUT IT DIDN'T RESOLVE THE LIGHT FLICKERING ISSUE. WE HAVE REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR AND ALSO HAD THE BATTERY CHECKED.
BACKED OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY, HEADLIGHTS FLICKERED, WOULD NOT STAY ON, HIGH BEAM WORKED, LOW BEAMS CAME ON, WENT OFF SEVERAL TIMES, WOULD NOT STAY ON. THIS IS FOR THE DATE TODAY 9/16/15, THE DATE FIELD ABOVE DOESN'T ACCEPT NUMERALS.
MY 2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY HAS AN ISSUE: THE SASH AND ENGINE TOTALLY SHUTS DOWN. WHEN IT SHUTS DOWN, ALL THE LIGHTS, MILEAGE DISPLAY, DRIVE SELECTOR, AND RADIO RESETS TO IT DEFAULT. THE SPEEDOMETER AND TACH NEEDLES GO TO ZERO AND THE ENGINE SHUTS DOWN. WHEN THIS HAPPENS I HAVE TO GET THE CAR STOPPED SO THAT I CAN PUT INTO PARK IN ORDER TO RESTART THE ENGINE. AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE POWER COMES BACK UP AND THE NEEDS ON THE SPEEDOMETER AND TACK START RECYCLING. WHEN MECHANICS FROM FIRESTONE AND A LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER HERE ATTEMPTED TO FIND THE ISSUE, THERE WERE NO CODES TO TRACE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAILED TO FUNCTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V067000 (VISIBILITY). STALLING AFTER REFUELING BEGAN ON OUR VEHICLE ABOUT A MONTH AGO. TODAY, WITH MY SON IN THE VAN, IT STALLED ON THE HIGHWAY 610 GARRISIONVILLE, STAFFORD VA.. THE DANGER WAS THAT I WAS ON A TURN AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO TURN IT. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE, AND MY HOPE IS THAT CHRYSLER MAKES GOOD ON A DEFECTIVE PART. AFTER FILLING UP GAS TANK, VEHICLE STALLS AND JERKS. A LITTLE WHILE LATER, IT MAY SHUT DOWN ENTIRELY OR THE VEHICLE MAY STALL AGAIN WHILE PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR. VEHICLE HAS SHUT DOWN ON MAJOR ROAD AND STALLED BADLY ON MAIN HIGHWAY.
I JUST PICKED UP THE CAR AFTER GETTING RECALL R03 PERFORMED AT FOWLER DODGE IN OKLAHOMA CITY. I HAD NEVER HAD THE PROBLEM THAT WAS STATED IN THE RECALL BUT WAS ADVISED TO GET IT FIXED ANYWAY. ON MY WAY HOME FROM THE DEALERSHIP ON 07/27/15 AT APPROX. 1800 HRS. I HIT A BUMP AND THE KEY FOB WENT TO THE OFF POSITION LEAVING ME WITH OUT POWER STEERING , BRAKES, AND ENGINE. THAT IS WHAT THE RECALL WAS SUSPOSE TO FIX. THE ONE PROBLEM I HAD NEVER HAD WITH THE VEHICLE, NOW I AM HAVING IT AFTER THE RECALL.

VAN HAS STARTED STALLING OUT AFTER FILLING THE TANK. IT USUALLY STALLS SHORTLY AFTER LEAVING THAT STATION WHILE SPEEDING UP AFTER A TURN. SO FAR IT HASN'T COMPLETELY DIED BUT I HAVE TO REV THE ENGINE TO KEEP IT RUNNING. I HAVE FOUND SEVERAL COMPLAINS ON-LINE THAT SAY THE REPAIR IS TO COMPLETELY REPLACE THE FUEL TANK AND CANISTER THE SAME AS THE REPAIR FOR THE 300, THE MAGNUM AND THE CHARGER.

THIS IS DANGEROUS - CAR STALLED WHILE ON HIGHWAY AND DURING A TURN, LOCKING OUT THE STEERING SYSTEM AND PUTTING MY CAR INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THIS HAPPENED AFTER FILLING THE CAR UP WITH GAS - AS WITH OTHER CHRYSLER MODELS OF THIS YEAR, IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE VALVE IN THE GAS TANK. I EXPERIENCED SPUTTERING AFTER GAS FILL UPS TWO DAYS PRIOR, AND THIS FINAL FILL UP THE ENGINE COMPLETELY DIED. I HAD MY WHOLE FAMILY IN THE CAR. FORTUNATELY WE AVOIDED AN ACCIDENT, BUT IF WE HAD BEEN IN ONE AND SURVIVED I WOULD HAVE SUED.
