WHILE FILLING THE REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRE WITH AIR, THE ALUMINUM VALVE STEM SNAPPED OFF CAUSING THE TIRE TO COMPLETELY DEFLATE. REPLACED ALUMINUM STEM WITH RUBBER STEM AS A TEMPORARY FIX WHILE SEARCHING FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS TO THE TPMS SENSOR. APPROXIMATELY TWO DAYS LATER, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO UNSCREW THE VALVE CAP FROM THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE, THE ALUMINUM VALVE STEM BROKE OFF IN MY HAND CAUSING THE TIRE TO COMPLETELY DEFLATE. I FOUND AFTER MARKET REPLACEMENT ALUMINUM VALVE STEMS THAT FIT THE OEM TPMS SENSORS AND HAD THEM ALL REPLACED. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THESE FAIL. ALUMINUM VALVE STEMS ON TPMS ARE CLEARLY A SAFETY ISSUE AND WARRANT A RECALL. TPMS STEMS ON ALL NEWER VEHICLES ARE NOW RUBBER.

IN ADDITION, THE RPMS INCREASED, THE ENGINE REVVED, AND THE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V373000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PART NEEDED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE DASH LIGHTS ALL LIT UP. AND THE POWER SHUT OFF. CAR STALLED. ONCE RESTARTED, THE RADIO HAS FAILED TO WORK.
I WAS DRIVING AND GOT HIT ON PASSAGE SIDE THE VAN WAS TOTALED THE FRONT AIR BIGS WENT OFF HOWEVER THE SIDE ONES NEVER DID.

NOTICE LOUD CLUNKING NOISE SHIFT FROM PARK TO DRIVE, OR PARK TO REVERSE. NOT EVERY TIME, BUT OFTEN ENOUGH. ALSO SHIFT TO/FROM TO HER GEARS IS NOTICEABLE AND GIVES THE FEEL OF HESITATION. THIS IS MOST OFTEN NOTICED AROUND 37 MPH OR 30 MPH. WENT IS COLD THE CAR ACT UP . IT IS HAVING TROUBLES ALSO GETTING HOT THE ENGINE AND I HAVE THE CAR FOR 5 MONTH AND I HAD TO FILL THE COOLANT TWICE. I BROUGHT THE CAR 5 TIME TO THE PLACE WHERE I BOUGHT THE CAR 4 TIMES TO REPORT THE PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION THEY SEND ME TO ONE OF THE CHRYSLER DEALER FOR SERVICE AND DID NOT SHOW NOTHING ON THE DIAGNOSIS. I AM FRUSTRATED BECAUSE I RESEARCH ONLINE IAND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM. ASLO THE SUSPENSION FEELS VERY WEAK.

WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH EXITING THE HIGHWAY, THE VEHICLE STARTED SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE OVER 50 MPH AND SLOWED DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY. THE ENTIRE FRONT DRIVER SIDE WHEEL FAILED. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THE BODY FRAME, WHEEL ASSEMBLY, WHEEL HUB, AND WHEEL BEARING WERE ALL DAMAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. RECEIVED WRITTEN NOTIFICATION OF WIRELESS IGNITION NODE MODULE RECALL (R03/NHTSA 14V-373) IN JUNE 2015. I CALLED FREEDOM CHRYSLER/TOYOTA OF HARRISBURG, PA ON 7/1/15 TO SCHEDULE THE RECALL SERVICE. THE PART NEEDED TO BE ORDERED. I HAVE CALLED AGAIN ON 9/18/15, 3/26/16 AND 10/10/16. THE PART IS STILL NOT AVAILABLE FROM CHRYSLER. THE DEALER EXPLAINS THEY ARE "AT CHRYSLER'S MERCY." WHY IS THIS "IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL" TAKING OVER 16 MONTHS TO RESOLVE?

I FINALLY RECEIVED THE SECOND NOTICE FOR THE SAFETY RECALL OF MY VEHICLE REQUESTING ME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO REPLACE THE WIN MODULE AND FOBIK'S ALMOST A YEAR AFTER I RECEIVED THE FIRST NOTICE. THE MAINTENANCE CLERK HELD ME ON THE PHONE TO VERIFY THEY HAD THE PARTS IN STOCK, WHICH AT THE TIME THEY HAD 2 AVAILABLE. I MADE THE APPOINTMENT FOR 3 WEEKS AFTER I SPOKE TO THEM TO COINCIDE WITH MY VACATION TIME. I RECEIVED A CALL THE DAY BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT TO CONFIRM. I GET TO CUETER CHRYSLER THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT, JUNE 24TH, 2015, AND THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS AVAILABLE FOR MY CAR. THE PARTS ARE ORDERED, BUT NO ETA AVAILABLE. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? THIS IS A BIG INCONVENIENCE. SHOULD THEY HAVE HELD THE PARTS AVAILABLE FOR MY APPOINTMENT? ARE THE CLERKS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT PARTS SPECIFIC TO EACH VEHICLE? HOW CAN THIS BE AVOIDED?

RECALL L25 WAS RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE DATE AND MILEAGE LISTED ABOVE. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND I WAS TOLD THE PARTS WERE ON BACK ORDER. THIS WAS NEVER REPAIRED. I THEN RECEIVED RECALL R03. I CONTACTED THE SAME DEALER ON 6/17/15 AND WAS TOLD R03 SUPERSEDED L25 AND PARTS WOULD BE ORDERED AND SHOULD BE RECEIVED IN A LITTLE OVER 2 WEEKS. I RECONTACTED THE DEALER ON 07/20/15 AND WAS TOLD PARTS WERE STILL ON ORDER. I RECONTACTED THE DEALER ON 09/28/15 AND WAS TOLD PARTS WERE STILL ON ORDER. I THEN CONTACTED THE FCA GROUP RECALL ASSISTANCE CENTER AND SPOKE TO [XXX]. SHE STATED PARTS WERE AVAILABLE FOR THE R03 RECALL AND WOULD CONTACT THE DEALER. SHE STATED SHE SPOKE TO THE DEALER AND THEY DID HAVE PARTS ON ORDER AND I WAS NEAR THE "TOP OF THE LIST." THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. THE STATEMENT IN THE LETTER I RECEIVED THAT "...WE ARE SINCERELY CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR SAFETY." APPEARS UNTRUE. I HAVE A 09 CHRYSLER T&C THAT HAS HAD MULTIPLE BRAKES, ROTORS, CALIPERS AND BEARINGS ISSUES. IN FEBRUARY 2015 I HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR BRAKES, CALIPERS, PADS AND ROTORS DUE TO THEM LOCKING UP. I INVESTIGATE THE ISSUE AND FOUND OUT THAT THERE WERE SERVICE BULLETINS THAT STATED THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THEM AND TO REPLACE THEM. CHRYSLER DID THEY RIGHT THING AND REIMBURSED ME FOR THE COST TO REPLACE ALL OF THAT. I NOW FIND MYSELF IN THE SAME SITUATION WITH THE FRONT ONES, SO I DID SOME INVESTIGATION AGAIN AND FOUND A SERVICE BULLETIN ABOUT THE FRON ONES AND TO REPLACE THEM. I CALLED CHRYSLER TO LET THEM KNOW AND THEY TOLD ME TO GET IT TO A CERTIFED DEALERSHIP TO DIAGNOSIS AND THAT THEY COULD POSSIBLE HELP WITH COST ASSISTANCE BUT SINCE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY (X35) EXPIRED IN APRIL 2015, THEY CAN'T GUARANTEE THAT THEY WILL HELP. BACKING OUT OF OUR DRIVEWAY, THE ENGINE UNEXPECTEDLY SHUT OFF. FOUND OUT THIS IS RELATED TO THE R03/L25 RECALLS. WIFE NOW REFUSES TO DRIVE THE VAN. IT WAS REPORTED, BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN BY CHRYSLER TO DATE. IT IS PART OF THE RECALL SO WE HAVE BEEN ON THE WAITING LIST SINCE JUNE. STILL WAITING TO BE SEEN BY THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. I WISH THE TOWN AND COUNTRY IS PART OF THE CHRYSLER BUY BACK PROGRAM. I DON'T WANT TO OWN A VEHICLE FROM A COMPANY THAT DOESN'T RESPOND APPROPRIATELY TO THEIR RECALL (ESPECIALLY FOR OWNERS WHO EXPERIENCED THE SYMPTOM OF THE RECALL). THEY PROBABLY RATHER PAY THE BIG FINE TO THE GOVERNMENT AND RESULTANT INSURANCE CLAIMS. PLEASE HELP!
