OUR 2010 CHRYSLER T&C STATED TO HAVE ENGINE STALL PROBLEMS SINCE TWO YEARS AGO. BASICALLY THE ENGINE JUST STOPPED WHEN DRIVING (THE RPM DROPS TO 0). THE DRIVER WILL FEEL THE STEERING WHEEL GETS HEAVY AND THE TRACTION WARNING LIGHT COMES ON. WE DID THE CHRYSLER R03 SAFETY RECALL REPAIR (I..E REPLACE THE WIN MODULE) BUT IT DOES NOT HELP AT ALL. ESPECIALLY PRONE TO STALL IN THE FIRST 20 MINUTES OF DRIVING WHEN TEMPS WAS LOW, AND ESPECIALLY WHEN HUMID. WE HAVE HAD IT CHECKED BY MULTIPLE MECHANIC SHOPS BUT NO CLUE WAS FOUND. MULTIPLE PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED (CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR, CAMSHAFT SENSOR, AND EGR VALVE) BUT NOTHING WORKED. NOW FOR EVERY DRIVING WE EXPECT AT LEAST 2-3 ENGINE STALLS ON THE ROAD. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS!! I SEE LOTS OF SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ONLINE AND CHRYSLER SHOULD DEFINITELY SOLVE THIS!

SINCE THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN WORKED ON FOR A BAD INTAKE GASKET. EVERY TIME I CROSS ANY RAIL ROAD CROSSINGS MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATES AND THE CAR FEELS AS IT WILL STALL. I AM SCARED FOR MY FAMILY OF GETTING STUCK, AT LEAST IF ANYTHING DOES HAPPEN, I WILL HAVE MADE THIS REPORT FOR OTHERS.

PROBLEMS WITH THE WIRING AND FUSES THAT MOVE THE FRONT DRIVERS AND PASSENGER SEAT. THE WIRES ARE HOT AND THE FUSE BLOWS CONSTANTLY. RESULTING IN THE SEATS BEING STATIONARY AND NOT WORKING. I'VE HAD SEVERAL MECHANICS LOOK AT THIS AND HAVE REPLACED THE FUSES ABOUT 30 TIMES. THE ONLY THING I HAVE NOT DONE YET IS HAVE THE SEATS COMPLETELY REWIRED TO GET THE POWER SEATS WORKING. THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE SINCE MY HUSBAND PURCHASED THIS VAN ABOUT 5 YRS AGO. I CANNOT DRIVE OUR VAN BECAUSE THE SEATS ARE STUCK. I'VE TALKED TO OTHER TOWN AND COUNTRY OWNERS THAT ARE HAVING SIMILAR ISSUES.

WHILE DRIVING AT APPROX. 30 MPH, THE ENGINE TURNED OFF. LOST STEERING AND POWER BRAKES. HAD TO PUT TRANSMISSION IN NEUTRAL, RESTART ENGINE AND PUT BACK INTO DRIVE. BELIEVE KEY FOB MOVED TO ACC. I AM REMOVING ALL OTHER KEYS AND KEY RING FROM FOB. I WILL BE CONTACTING CHRYSLER DEALER AGAIN ABOUT WIN MODULE RECALL. HAVE BEEN WAITING TWO MONTHS NOW FOR PARTS TO ARRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

CAR CAN BE DRIVEN OFF WITH THE REAR HATCH OPEN, WITH NO WARNING. THIS LED TO AN ANIMAL CARRIER FALLING OUT ON THE ROADWAY, WITH A DANGER TO NOT ONLY THE ANIMAL, BUT ALSO TO THE TRAFFIC BEHIND. I HAVE OBSERVED OTHER VANS IN PARKING LOTS BEING DRIVEN OFF WITH THE HATCH OPEN AND ITEMS FALLING OUT OF THE BACK AS THEY DROVE OFF. MY LEXUS RX300 WILL DING IF A HATCH IS NOT SECURE, BUT EVEN THIS IS NOT SAFE ENOUGH. I THINK A LOUD WARNING SHOULD BE GIVEN IF THE HATCH IS NOT SECURE AND CAR IS PLACED IN DRIVE.

I AM A USED CAR DEALER. I PURCHASED VEHICLE FROM THE DEALERSHIP. IT WAS A TRADE IN. I SOLD THE VEHICLE . THE NEXT DAY THE CUSTOMER CALLED AND SAID THE WIPERS CAME ON WITHOUT BEING TURNED ON. LIGHTS WERE FLASHING IN THE DASH AND IT SHUT OFF SEVERAL TIMES WHEN THEY MADE A TURN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP. I PAID $983 FOR THE REPAIRS. VEHICLE WAS PICKED UP BY MY CUSTOMER. IT WAS NOT FIXED, SAME THINGS WERE HAPPENING. IT WAS TAKEN BACK TO SHOP, STILL AT DEALERSHIP SHOP. THE SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME IT CANNOT BE FIXED. I HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT THE CASE MANAGER, BUT SHE IS NOT AVAILABLE AND DOES NOT RETURN CALLS. MY CUSTOMER HAD CALLED ME AND TOLD ME SHE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND WANTED ME TO FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE CASE. THE CUSTOMER IS NOT PAYING ME ON THE VEHICLE AT ALL. I AM A BUY HERE PAY HERE DEALER. IT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE DUE TO ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE GOING ON AND OFF AND IT SHUTTING OFF.

MY FAMILY PURCHASED A 2010 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY IN NOVEMBER 2014. THE VEHICLE SEEMED TO DRIVE NORMALLY UNTIL SOMETIME AT THE BEGINNING OF 2015 (I CAN ALWAYS GET EXACT DATES OF SERVICE) WHEN IT BEGAN TO STALL WHILE DRIVING. THE STALLING TYPICALLY HAPPENS AT LOW SPEEDS ' LESS THAN 35 MPH. IT HAS STALLED ONCE IN A 40 MPH ZONE, BUT MORE OFTEN THAN NOT IT HAPPENS ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET WITH A SPEED LIMIT OF 25 MPH OR LESS. AS THE VEHICLE STALLS, THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT FLASHES AND THE POWER STEERING GOES OUT. THE CAR BECOMES UNMANAGEABLE, AND THE ONLY OPTION FOR THE DRIVER IS TO ATTEMPT TO PULL OVER, COME TO A COMPLETE STOP, PLACE THE VEHICLE IN PARK, AND RESTART. WE HAVE TAKEN THE CAR INTO THE DEALERSHIP A FEW TIMES AND ONCE TO AN AUTO REPAIR BUSINESS UNAFFILIATED WITH CHRYSLER. NONE OF THE TECHNICIANS WHO HAVE SEEN THE CAR CAN DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE. THEY HAVE TRIED TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM, BUT THE REPAIRS THAT WERE MADE WERE ONLY GUESSES AND DID NOT FIX THE VEHICLE. WE HAVE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT WITH CHARLIE'S ON AUGUST 1. THIS WAS THE EARLIEST 'ONE OF THEIR BEST TECHNICIANS' COULD SEE US. DURING THIS TIME WE HAVE ALSO CONTACTED THE CHRYSLER, THE MANUFACTURER, TO SEEK GUIDANCE. I PURCHASED MY 2010 TOWN AND COUNTRY USED IN SEPT.2013. SHORTLY AFTER, I STARTED EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE STARTING. IT WOULD TAKE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS BEFORE THE CAR WOULD START. IT IS ALWAYS RANDOM AND SPORADIC. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP BUT THEY SAID BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. IN ADDITION TO NOT STARTING, THE DOORS WOULD NOT WORK PROPERLY. THEY'D OPEN AND CLOSE ON THEIR OWN. THEY ALSO DON'T STOP IF SOMETHING IS IN THE WAY. RECENTLY, THE RADIO/FRONT VIDEO SCREEN STARTED SHUTTING OFF AND TURNING ON AS I WAS DRIVING. AND OCCASIONALLY, THE STEERING SEEMED TO GET TIGHT. THEN YESTERDAY, JUNE 2015, I WAS DRIVING TO WORK AND MY STEERING TOTALLY LOCKED UP. I COULD NOT STEER AT ALL. FORTUNATELY, I WAS ONLY 25 YARDS FROM A STOP SIGN. I WAS ABLE TO BRAKE BUT WAS UNABLE TO PUSH THE GAS PEDAL AGAIN, SO I STARTED COASTING BACK TOWARD THE CAR BEHIND ME. I QUICKLY PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK. I SHUT IT OFF AND TURNED IT BACK ON AND IT APPEARED TO BE FINE. I DROVE THE CAR STRAIGHT TO THE DEALER. THEY HAVE HAD IT FOR TWO DAYS AND AGAIN CANNOT DUPLICATE WHAT I EXPERIENCED, SO THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. I AM NOW SERIOUSLY CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY, THE SAFETY OF MY CHILDREN, AND THOSE DRIVING AROUND ME.
