THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP TO HAVE HER TIRES ROTATED AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE TIRES WERE MANUFACTURED ON DECEMBER 1, 2005. SHE TOOK THE TIRES BACK TO WHERE SHE PURCHASED THEM AND WANTED NEW REPLACEMENT TIRES. THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED HER THAT THEY WERE REQUIRED BY LAW TO SELL TIRES THAT WERE A YEAR OLD. THE TIRE SIZE AND DOT NUMBER WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 67,590 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,232.
THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL BEARING FAILED AT 57000 MILES, PART WAS DIFFICULT TO FIND, DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED, A RECALL SHOULD BE ORDERED! I HAVE ALREADY SPENT $200 FIXING THE PROBLEM. DT
