TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE AVENGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE CLEANED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE AFTER IT HAD BEEN SITTING FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OR IN COLD WEATHER, THE VEHICLE WOULD BECOME RESISTANT TO ACCELERATION ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A MECHANIC WHO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 116,000.
IT WILL CONSTANTLY OVER HEAT, EVEN WITH FULL ANTI-FREEZE IN IT. IT WILL GET TO THE H IN LESS THEN 1 MIN. THE TRANSMISSION LIGHT WILL THEN COME ON FOLLOWED BY THE LIGHTING BOLD IN THE PARENTHESES. ALL OF A SUDDEN IT STARTED HAVING A VERY LOUD NOISE (LIKE A DIESEL TRUCK) AND WOULDN'T LET ME GO OVER 25 MILES WITHOUT IT GETTING LOUDER. THEN I WENT TO TURN LEFT TO PULL OVER AND ALL THE LIGHTS CAME ON, WENT OFF THE HEAT WENT FROM H TO C AND CAR STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND CAR DIED.. I WOULDN'T NOT TURN OVER TILL 30 MINS LATER.. STARTED HAVING THE LOUD DIESEL NOISE AND TO 3-4 WEEKS LATER (TODAY).. STILL OVER HEATS TODAY AND STILL LEAKS ANTI-FREEZE (DRAINS THE WHOLE THING IN 30 MINS). I HEARD THERE WAS A RE-CALL FOR THE 08 AVENGER IN 2012.. I GOT MY CAR DEC 2012 AND THE DEALERSHIP STILL SOLD IT.. WHEN I FOUND OUT THERE USED TO BE A RE-CALL I TRIED TO CALL DEALERSHIP TO FIND OUT THEY WENT OUT OF BUSINESS THE NEXT WEEK AFTER I BOUGHT IT. SUCKS CAUSE IM STUCK WITH A BROKEN CAR AND $11K STILL TO PAY. *TR
WHILE DRIVING, MY ETC LIGHT CAME ON. IT STAYED ON. NO ISSUE WITH DRIVING. I JUST HAD $900 WORTH OF WORK ON THIS CAR DUE TO A FAULTY COMPUTER. I NOW AM FINDING THE ETC LIGHT IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE CARS AND NO SOLUTION. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THE THERMOSTAT TEMPERATURE WOULD RISE, INDICATING THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OVER HEATING. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE HEATER COILS OR HOSES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND THEY ADVISED THAT THE COMPONENTS WERE NO LONGER MANUFACTURED DUE TO THEM BEING DEFECTIVE. AS A RESULT, THE ENTIRE RE-MANUFACTURED CHAMBER THAT CONTAINS THE HOSES AND COILS NEEDED TO BE USE FOR THE REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 123,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START AND THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING LIGHT ADVISED OF A DEFECT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE TO THE CONTACT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 66,000.
I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE PROBLEMS WITH MY THROTTLE BODY AND LOSING POWER IN MY CAR. ALL MY ATTEMPTS TO FIX IT HAVE FAILED. NOW MY CAR WILL ONLY GET UP TO ABOUT TEN MPH. WITH THE LIGHTING BOLT FLASHING ON MY DASH BOARD. I HAVE TALKED TO MECHANICS AT A DODGE DEALERSHIP AND THE SAY THEY HAVEN'T HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM AND THAT IS A FLAT OUT LIE. THEY JUST KEEP TRYING TO FIX THIS AND THAT AND IT DOES NOT WORK. THIS PART NEEDS TO BE RECALLED BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED AND DODGE TRYING TO COVER UP WHAT HUNDREDS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT IS NOT FAIR TO US AS CONSUMERS SPENDING HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS OUT OF POCKET AND THERE IS ONLY TEMPORARY FIXES. *TR
AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD HEADED ONTO THE INTERSTATE MY CAR LOST SPEED AND WENT FROM 50MPH TO 40MPH AND THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY LIGHT CAME ON. GAS PEDAL WAS TO THE FLOOR AND COULDN'T GO OVER 40MPH. FELT LIKE THE CAR WAS GOING TO DIE IF I WAS TO LET OFF THE GAS THEN IT WOULD ALL OF A SUDDEN SPEED UP ON ITS OWN TO 50. WHEN I HAD TO SLOW DOWN FOR A RED LIGHT WHICH THANKFULLY I DIDN'T NEED TO STOP I COULDN'T GET THE MPH OVER 30 ONCE I STARTED GOING AGAIN. WHEN PUMPING GAS INTO MY 2008 DODGE AVENGER I GET OVERSPILL OF GAS COMING OUT OF TANK. I HEAR THE CLICK AND RELEASE OF GAS PUMP AND IMMEDIATELY GAS SPURTS OUT ONTO CAR AND ME. I LOOKED UP ON INTERNET AND IT APPEARS TO BE HAPPENING TO ALOT OF DODGE AVENGERS. IS THERE A RECALL? *TR
DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON. THE CAR WILL NOT ACCELERATE, AND AFTER TAKING FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR THE LIGHT GOES OFF. *TR
I HAVE HAD A REOCCURING PROBLEM WITH THE THROTTLE LIGHT COMING ON AFTER EXPERIENCING CHUGGING AND DECELERATION WITH MY CAR. IT WAS ONLY AT LOW SPEEDS BUT HAS NOW GONE ON WHEN I AM ON THE FREEWAY. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE COME CLOSE TO LOSING POWER AT HIGH SPEEDS BUT I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE LIGHT TRAFFIC AND A CLEAR SHOULDER. MY RPMS HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLY HIGH DURING THIS TIME AND HAVE TO START THE CAR AGAIN. THIS FIXES IT TEMPORARILY AND STARTS AGAIN A FEW MINUTES LATER. I HAVE SEEN THIS ISSUE ON OTHER VEHICLES AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED. I AM A POLICE OFFICER AND I HAVE DEFENSIVELY DRIVING TRAINING BUT THEY DON'T TRAIN YOU ON WHEN A PART ON YOUR CAR THAT SHOULD BE RECALLED FAILS WHILE TRAVELING 65 ON THE FREEWAY. HOW MANY COMPLAINTS DO THEY NEED TO FIX THIS PROBLEM? YOU WILL RECALL A STUPID TIRE SENSOR BUT NOT THE THROTTLE BODY THAT CAN CAUSE DEATH? FIX THE PROBLEM PLEASE. I DON'T WANT TO DIE OR INJURED BECAUSE NO ONE IS LISTENING ABOUT AN OBVIOUS PROBLEM. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MECHANIC STATED THE THROTTLE WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE WITH THE VEHICLE BUT WAS WORRIED ABOUT EXPERIENCING A FAILURE IN THE FUTURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 127,000.
HAD TO REPLACE THE CYLINDER 2 IGNITION COIL AND INTAKE MANIFOLD. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRE PRESSURE VALVE STEM FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE TIRES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE, MY CAR SUDDENLY DROPPED TO 20MPH AND I HAD TO PULL OFF THE ROAD. I DIDN'T HAVE ANYWHERE TO PULL OVER SO I PUT MY FLASHERS ON AND DROVE AS FAR RIGHT AS I COULD UNTIL I HAD ROOM TO PULL OFF THE ROAD. IT WAS A VERY BUSY PART OF THE INTERSTATE AND I COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN RAN OVER. I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY REPLACED AND ELECTRIC THROTTLE. THIS IS AN ISSUE DODGE CHRYSLER HAS BEEN AWARE OF FOR MANY YEARS. IT SHOULD BE RECALLED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE AVENGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO DECELERATE UNEXPECTEDLY. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE GREATER THAN 2000 RPMS. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000.
LEAVING HOME TO GO TO WORK, STARTED CAR AND NOTICED LIGHTNING BOLT INDICATOR LIGHT ON. SHUT CAR OFF AND RESTARTED - LIGHT NOT THERE. PUT CAR IN GEAR AND NOTICED SHAKING AND LOW IDLING. ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE AND WAS ONLY ABLE TO REACH A SPEED OF 15 MPH. PULLED TO SIDE OF ROAD AND SHUT CAR OFF. RESTARTED - NO LIGHT BUT STILL NOT ACCELERATION PAST 15MPH AND CAR STILL IDLING SLOWLY AND SHAKING. PULLED BACK INTO DRIVEWAY AND LEFT IT THERE. WITH ALL THE OTHER SIMILAR COMPLAINTS SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE AVENGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE THROTTLE SENSOR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED WITH A SUDDEN REDUCTION IN ACCELERATION POWER. THE VEHICLE THEN INDEPENDENTLY DECELERATED TO 20 MPH. THE CONTACT MANEUVERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED THE THROTTLE HARNESS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. IT WILL GO OFF IF THE SEATS ARE MOVED FORWARD AND THEN BACK TO THE ORIGINAL POSITION. I WAS TOLD THAT 08 AVENGERS WERE RECALLED FOR AN AIRBAG SENSOR ISSUE, BUT THAT MINE HAD TO DO WITH A HIGH LEVEL OF RESISTANCE SEEN IN THE CIRCUIT AND WAS NOT THE SENSOR. DODGE HAS TAKEN SOME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ISSUE AS THEY AGREED TO PAY $500 OF THE TOTAL $1,100 REPAIR COST. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS ISSUE COULD CAUSE THE AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY WITHOUT WARNING AND MAY ALSO CAUSE THEM TO FAIL TO DEPLOY IN AN INCIDENT. MY BELIEF IS THAT THIS IS A DEFECT IN THE CIRCUITRY AND/OR AIRBAGS THEMSELVES AND OTHER OWNERS MAY NOT BE AWARE. DODGE IS FAILING TO PROVIDE A FULL INVESTIGATION ON THIS ISSUE AND IS ALSO FAILING TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS FAILURE. *TR

THE CONTACT SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE, AS IT THEN FUNCTIONED PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY STATED THAT THE MOTOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THE CENTRAL COMPUTER NEEDED TO BE REPROGRAMMED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH THE RPM GAUGE BEGAN TO FLUCTUATE RAPIDLY WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. SEVERAL MINUTES LATER THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL FUNCTION. THE FOLLOWING DAY THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED BY A MECHANIC. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 45,000. UPDATED 12/7/12 *CN THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO FIND ANY PROBLEMS. UPDATED 12/17/12
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN ENGAGING THE TURN SIGNALS WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD ENGAGE ERRONEOUSLY. SEVERAL DEALERS WERE NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE BUT NONE OFFERED ANY ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED BUT ALSO RENDERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 63,528. UPDATED 5/22/13 *CN THE CONSUMER STATED THE WIPERS WOULD GO OFF AND ON WITHOUT THE USE OF THE TURN SIGNAL, AS WELL. UPDATED 05/30/2013 *JS
SINCE WE FIRST PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH IT STALLING. AT FIRST WE THOUGHT IT WAS WHEN IT GOT WET BUT THEN IT HAPPENED ANY TIME. IT STALLED OUT SEVERAL TIMES WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGH WAY. WE HAVE HAD IT TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES THE PAST FEW YEARS. THEY HAVE REPLACED THE PVC VALVE AND THE MAP SENSOR STATING BOTH TIMES THIS WAS CAUSING IT TO STALL OUT EVEN THOUGH THE LIGHT INDICATES IT IS THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL. THE DEALER SAYS THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS THAT CAN EFFECT THE ETC AND IT IS A GUESSING GAME UNLESS THE LIGHT COMES ON WHEN THEY HAVE IT WHICH OF COURSE IT DIDNT. THE CAR IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AT THIS POINT. IT CONTINUES TO STALL AND THERE IS NO INDICATION AS TO WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN. WE COULD BE GOING 10 MILES AN HOUR OR 50 MILES AN HOUR. ON ONE OCCASION WHEN I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED, THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER SHOWED ME UNDER NEATH THAT IT HAD BEEN TOWED BEFORE BECAUSE SOMETHING WAS BENT. HE DIDNT WANT ME TO THINK HE DID IT. THEREFORE THERE WERE ISSUES WITH THIS CAR BEFORE I PURCHASED IT. I HAVE EMAILED DODGE ON THIS MATTER AS THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SAME ISSUE AND YET THERE ARE NO RECALLS FOR IT. I DONT WANT ANYONE TO BE KILLED IN THIS CAR SO WE ARE HOPING THE DEALER WILL TAKE IT BACK AS A TRADE. AFTER ALL THEY SOLD IT TO US IN THIS CONDITION. *JS
SHORTLY AFTER I PURCHASED MY '08 DODGE AVENGER I STARTED HAVING TROUBLE W/THE ETC. IT FELT LIKE THE VEHICLE WAS JOLTING ON ACCELERATION OR IF I WAS AT A STEADY HIGH RATE OF SPEED (75-80 MPH). THE ETC INDICATOR CAME ON. I CONTACTED THE DEALER & INFORMED THEM OF THE ISSUE & MY CONCERN ABOUT THE RELIABILITY OF THE VEHICLE. IT WAS IN & OUT OF THE SHOP 3 TIMES IN THE 1ST MONTH OF PURCHASE FOR THE ETC. I WAS TOLD IT WAS A SPEED SENSOR YET MY ETC LIGHT WAS ON AFTER REPLACEMENT. AFTER HAVING ETC SENSOR CLEANED & ETC SOFTWARE FLASHED THE PROBLEM APPEARED TO GO AWAY. ALMOST 2 YEARS LATER THE PROBLEM IS BACK & WORSE. MY ETC INDICATOR CAME ON, VEHICLE STALLED WHILE IDLING, STARTED JOLTING WHILE ACCELERATING & WHILE MAINTAINING A STEADY SPEED. IT BEGAN REVVING AT A COMPLETE STOP W/FULL PRESSURE APPLIED TO THE BREAK (VEHICLE WOULD JUMP FORWARD; I FEARED IT WOULD RUN ITSELF INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE). WHILE SLOWING DOWN IT WOULD REV & ACCELERATE (CREATING THE POSSIBILITY OF HITTING ANOTHER VEHICLE) W/OUT PRESSURE ON THE GAS PEDAL. IT DIED WHILE DRIVING & WOULDN'T START RESTART. WHEN IT DID START THE ETC WAS ON & IT WOULDN'T GET PAST 1000RPM OR ABOVE 20MPH & HAD A VERY ROUGH IDLE. A TUNE-UP WAS DONE, ETC SENSOR CLEANED, AIR-INTAKE SYSTEM CLEANED, & LOAD TEST DONE TO SEE IF THE BATTERY WAS GOING BAD. THIS VEHICLE IS INCREDIBLE UNSAFE TO DRIVE, AFTER RESEARCHING IT APPEARS THAT I AM NOT THE FIRST PERSON W/THIS ISSUE. DODGE NEEDS TO RECALL THIS THROTTLE BODY, IT'S EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. THE REPAIRS ON THIS VEHICLE ARE EXTENSIVE & THE PROBLEM ISN'T FIXED. ADVISED REPLACING THROTTLE BODY IS THE NEXT STEP. TOLD IT WOULDN'T BE A GUARANTEED FIXED BECAUSE THE THROTTLE BODY FOR THIS MODEL APPEARS A FAULTY & I WOULD LIKELY BE DEALING W/THIS PROBLEM FOR THE LENGTH OF OWNERSHIP. RECORDED VEHICLE DURING SOME OF INCIDENTS SINCE I WAS TOLD 1ST TIME I WAS TOLD "UNABLE TO DUPLICATE, FLASHED SOFTWARE." *TR
FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS I'VE BEEN GETTING A LIGHTENING BOLT INDICATOR LIGHT COMING ON. THE CAR WILL STALL. NOW IT'S SO BAD THAT THIS MORNING IT WOULD NOT GO PAST 10 MPH. THE LIGHT GOES OFF BY THE TIME I CAN GET INTO THE SHOP. A FRIEND HAD THE SAME EXACT CAR WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEMS AND THE DEALERSHIP HAD TO REPLACE HER THROTTLE BODY 3 TIMES AND IT STILL WOULDN'T FIX IT. THIS CAR NEEDS A RECALL SINCE I CAN'T AFFORD TO FIX A $500 PROBLEM OVER AND OVER AND OVER. *TR
I WAS TRAVELING SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND THE DRIVER'S DOOR OPEN DURING TRAVEL. I WAS ONLY GOING ABOUT 30 MILES PER HOUR AND I HAD MY SEAT BELT ON WHEN THIS HAPPENED SO NO PHYSICAL HARM OR DAMAGE OCCURRED JUST VERY SHAKEN UP. I GOT OUT OF MY CAR TO CHECK THE DOOR AND NOTICED THAT THE LATCH WAS IN THE OPEN POSITION AND WOULD NOT LOCK OR LATCH ON. I WAS FORCED TO DRIVE HOME HOLDING THE DOOR TRYING TO KEEP IT CLOSED BY PLACING MY HAND THROUGH AN OPENED WINDOW WHILE I DROVE. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF THE PREVIOUS RECALL AND WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET. I ALSO CONTACTED CONTACT CHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403 AND WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR HAD ALREADY BEEN REPAIRED SO I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET TO HAVE IT REPAIRED AGAIN.. *TR

RECEIVED INDICATOR LIGHT THAT ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL FAILED, IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC MY CAR DROPPED SPEED TO 20 MILES AN HOUR, I WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED WITH TWO CHILDREN IN MY CAR.
