I RECEIVED TWO RECALL NOTICES AND I WENT TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES TO HAVE THE CAR SERVICED. EVERY TIME I RETURNED FOR MY APPOINTMENT I WAS ADVISED THAT THE PART IS NOT IN AND THEY WOULD CALL ME WHEN IT WAS AVAILABLE. BECAUSE THIS OCCURRENCE HAPPENED MORE THAN ONE TIME I FEEL THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO RESOLVE MY ISSUE. BECAUSE OF THE SAFETY HAZARD I WOULD LIKE TO GET THIS FIXED IMMEADIATELY.

I PURCHASED A CAR FROM JOHNNY AUTO SALES OFF FLORIN RD. I WAS TOLD THE CAR HAD NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, CLEAN CAR FAX. THE ONLY MAJOR THING WAS THE ENGINE HAD BEEN REPLACED. THE CHECK ENGINE LT AND THE TIRE INDICATOR LT WERE ON AND JOHNNY SAID HE WOULD MAKE SURE TO FIX THE ISSUE W/LIGHTS. I KEPT GETTING FLAT TIRES. I TOLD JOHNNY MY TIRES ARE BALD AND KEEP GOING FLAT. HE TOLD ME TO GO TO HIS TIRE GUY AND HE WOULD PAY FOR USED TIRES TO BE PUT ON. I DID JUST THAT. THEY REPLACED MY TIRES AND JOHNNY SIGNED FOR THEM. I CONTINUED GETTING FLAR TIRE SO I WENT BACK TO THE TIRE SHOP AND HAD MY TIRES CHECKED. THEY SAID NO PROBLEMS WITH THE TIRES. SO THEY CHECKED MY RIMS. CRACKED. MY RIM ON THE BACK PASSENGER SIDE WAS CRACKED. I CALLED JOHNNY AND HE SAYS WELL HOW DOES HE KNOW I DIDN'T DRIVE THE CAR HARD. SO I FIGURED I WAS NOT GOING TO GET ANYWHERE WITH HIM I WENT AND BOUGHT MY OWN TIRES AND RIMS SO I KNOW THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEMS AND HAVE A WARRANTY. NOW I NEEDED AN ALIGNMENT AND TO GET THEVERYTHING TIRE INDICATOR LIGHT OFF. SO I TOOK THE CAR TO PEP BOYS, FIRESTONE AND LES SCHWAB. ALL 3 PLACES REFUSED TO GIVE ME AN ALIGNMENT. REASON BEING... BENT SUBFRAME. I GOT A PRINTOUT OF HOW MY TIRES SHOULD BE AND WHAT THEY WERE AND THE RESULT IS... NOT SAFE. CLEARLY MY CAR HAS HAD SOME TYPE OF DAMAGE DUE TO AN ACCIDENT TO CAUSE A BENT SUBFRAME. THEN THE GUYS POINT OUT ALL THE BONDO ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. ALL THE WAY TO THE GLUE IN THE TRUNK. LIKE SOMEONE CUT THE TRUNK AND GLUED IT BACK ON. STILL NO HELP FROM JOHNNY. THE INTERIOR CARPET DOESN'T EVEN BELONG TO AN 08 CHARGER. IT CAME FROM A NEWER MODEL CHARGER. HE PIECED THIS CAR TOGETHER TO SATISFY HIS GREED WHILE PUTTING PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF IN DANGER. I HAVE CHILDREN THAT RIDE WITH ME. MY QUESTION TO JOHNNY IS... WOULD YOU BE OK WITH THIS SITUATION IF IT WAS YOU? AND UR CHILDREN RIDE IN THIS CAR? EXACTLY MY POINT...
THE FREQUENCY BUTTON IGNITION KEY IN MY VEHICLE IS STILL NOT FIXED A YEAR AFTER I WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM . I WAS TOLD THAT CHRYSLER HAS NOT PROVIDED THE NECESSARY PARTS TO FIX THE PROBLEM YET. BUT THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THE PART WILL BE IN. I CALLED THE NHTSA AND WAS TOLD THE SAME THING. SHE SAID SHE WILL TRY TO EXPADITE THE PROCESS BUT NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHEN THE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. ALL THE ELECTRICAL FROM THE CAR WENT OUT INCLUDING LIGHTS, RADIO, ODOMETER LIGHTS, HEADLIGHTS TURN OFF, ELECTRICAL WINDOWS WERE NOT WORKING. THEN MADE THE CAR GO AS FAR AS 100 FT. WHEN IT SHUT DOWN COMPLETLY. I GOT OFF THE CAR AND POPPED THE HOOD AND THE FUSE BOX WAS ON FIRE I CALLED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND THEY TOOK FIRE OUT FROM THE HOOD AND THE TRUNK AND DETERIMINED THAT THE THERE WAS A SHORTAGE IN THE BATTERY AND THERE WAS BATTERY ACID ALL IN BACK OF THE TRUNK.

I SAW ON THAT WEBSITE THAT THE RECALL WAS ANNOUNCED ON 8-15-15. MINE COMPLETELY MALFUNCTIONING TWO WEEKS LATER TELLS ME THERE MAY BE MORE TO THIS THAN DODGE IS AWARE OF OR, JUST WILLING TO ADMIT. I UNDERSTAND THINGS BREAK, I UNDERSTAND AUTO REPAIRS ARE A PART OF LIFE. BUT I CANT STAND THE THOUGHT OF WHAT COULD OF HAPPENED IF IT HAD GONE OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN BELTWAY AROUND WASHINGTON D.C. DURING RUSH HOUR. ENGINE COOLING FAN BECAME SEPARATED FROM FAN HOUSING AND BECAME LODGED IN RADIATOR. THE FAN CONTINUED TURNING, CAUSING RADIATOR FAN BLADES TO BREAK OFF AND BOUNCE AROUND THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE RADIATOR DUMPED ALL COOLANT, AND THE ENGINE OVERHEATED WITHIN MOMENTS. DODGE HAS ISSUED A RECALL FOR A VERY SPECIFIC SALES CODE AND DATE RANGE OF VEHICLES, AND IS DENYING THE SAME RECALL TO OTHER OWNERS EXPERIENCING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. WE GOT THE FIRST RECALL FOR THE IGNITION SWITCH MONTHS AND MONTHS AGO WHICH ADVISED THAT THE DEALER WOULD CALL US WHEN THEY GOT THE PART. WE STARTED HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH AND CALLED THE DEALER TO ASK WHEN THEY WOULD BE GETTING THE PART TO FIX THE CAR. THEY HAD NO IDEA. WE CONTINUED TO HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT AT THE DEALER. AT THE SAME TIME WE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH YOU. THEY SAID YES, THERE WAS A PROBLEM AND ORDERED THE PART ON AUGUST 13, 2015. WHILE WAITING FOR THE PART, WE GOT ANOTHER SAFETY RECALL FOR THE WIRELESS IGNITION NODE MODULE WHICH SAID TO CONTACT THE DEALER RIGHT AWAY TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT AND HAVE THE DEALER HOLD THE PART OR ORDER THE PART BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT. AS I SAID, THEY ORDERED THE PART AUGUST 13, 2015, SIX WEEKS AGO. I CALLED AGAIN TODAY AND THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE THE PART. WITH THE IGNITION NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, THIS HAS BEEN EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND ALL WE GET WHEN WE CALL IS THAT IT IS NOT IN.

MY WIFE USED THE CAR FOR HER JOB CLEANING CONDO'S, SHE OWNS THE BUSINESS SO SHE DOES A LOT OF SHORT RUNS TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS, NOT HIGH SPEED OR EVEN HIGHWAYS. HE SENT US THE PICTURE, WE HAVE BEEN USING TUFFY'S FOR A WHILE AS OUR MAIN REPAIR SHOP FOR OUR OTHER VEHICLES AS WELL. YOU COULD SEE THE RIM OF PISTON 4 WAS 3/4 GONE.
