TIRES ALWAYS LOW. I HAVE REPLACED ALL MY TIRES AND SOME MORE THEN ONCE. I TRIED AVOIDING DRAIN BECAUSE COVER WAS MISSING AND HIT A BUMP CAR BOUNCED OUT OF CONTROL AND HIT UNCOVERED DRAIN ANYWAY. HAD TO FILE INSURANCE CLAIM HAD ALMOST $3,000 IN DAMAGES. I HATE MY CAR.
THE RIGHT LOWER CONTROL ARM HAS BROKEN OFF FOR THE SECOND TIME AS I WAS DRIVING STRAIGHT
AFTER NUMEROUS TIMES THE CAR HAS STALLED IN TRAFFIC, DODGE PLACED VEHICLE ON AN OIL CONSUMPTION STUDY, THE CAR FAILED THE STUDY AND A NEW ENGINE WAS PLACED IN THE CAR. THE CAR WENT BACK TO THE DEALER THE NEXT DAY DUE TO METAL TO METAL GRINDING IN STEERING AT THE SLIGHTEST HINT OF A TURN OR CURVE
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, A BEEPING NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE BATTERY WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE IN TRAFFIC. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AFTER THE THIRD ATTEMPT. THE FAILURE RECURRED EACH TIME THE OIL LIFE REACHED BETWEEN 30% OR 40%. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TWICE TO THE DEALER (DAVE DENNIS, LOCATED IN BEAVER CREEK, OH) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE OIL WAS TWO QUARTS LOW. THE VEHICLE WAS BEING TESTED FOR OIL CONSUMPTION THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000. UPDATED 08/03/17*LJ *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE DOME LIGHT, CRUISE CONTROL, AND INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILED TO OPERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE CRUISE CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS REPLACED ON TWO PREVIOUS OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 14,000. UPDATED 06/14/16*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTS DID NOT WORK
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE REQUIRED AN OIL CONSUMPTION TEST. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE FOR THE OIL CONSUMPTION TEST, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO OVERHEAT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE COOLING FAN FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,000.
EMERGENCY BRAKES DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. CAN STILL DIVE IT WHEN EMERGENCY BRAKES ARE APPLIED AS IF THEY'RE NOT EVEN ON..
WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES, I NOTICED THE TACH WAS APPROACHING REDLINE AND DISCOVERED THE CAR HAD GONE INTO NEUTRAL BUT SHIFT LEVER WAS IN DRIVE. I PULL ONTO THE SHOULDER AND AFTER STOPPING, PLACED SHIFT LEVER INTO PARK. REVVED THE ENGINE A COUPLE OF TIMES AND TRANSMISSION WENT INTO GEAR WITH NO OTHER PROBLEMS. THIS HAS OCCURRED ONLY ONCE. I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THIS VEHICLE IS BEING RECALLED BY CHRYSLER FOR A SIMILAR ISSUE. I HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED BY CHRYSLER AS OF YET.
I WAS INVOLVED IN A MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION ON A CITY STREET, AND WAS INJURED ON MY BY THE VEHICLE AIR BAGS WHEN DEPLOYED.
BACKSEAT OF THOSE NOT WORK. I HAVE A LOT OF ELECTRICAL ISSUES. THE TRUNK OPENS EVERY TIME IT'S COLD OR RAINING BY ITSELF. WHEN I START THE CAR THE CAR JUST FLICKERS SOMETIMES IN THE ODOMETERS BOUNCE UP AND DOWN. MY CAR IS TELLING ME THAT MY PARK LIGHT IS OUT AND IT'S NOT. THESE ARE ISSUES I BROUGHT DIRECTLY TO THE DODGE LOT DEALER WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT THE CAR
MY 2015 DODGE DART WAS THE VICTIM OF A HIGH SPEED COLLISION...UNFORTUNATELY AS EXTENSIVE AS THE IMPACT WAS NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED IN MY VEHICLE AS I SPUN UNCONTROLLABLY AND BANG MY HEAD ON THE STEERING WHEEL AND SIDE OF THE CAR. I PURCHASED THIS CAR BECAUSE I WAS IMPRESSED BY ALL OF THE SAFETY FEATURES AND THE ONE FEATURE THAT COULD SAVE MY LIFE WAS DEFECTIVE.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY WITH CRUISE CONTROL SET I HIT A BUMP AND THE CRUISE CONTROL SHUT COMPLETELY OFF WASN'T EVEN TURNED ON ANYMORE
JUST BOUGHT THE 2015 DODGE DART ON 9/2/15 . I HAVE 71 MILES ON IT RIGHT NOW. WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND I COULD BARELY TURN THE WHEEL. TOOK A LOT OF EFFORT TO TURN THE WHEEL. I DID NOT LOSS ENGINE POWER AT ALL. I HAD A STEERING WHEEL LIGHT ON WITH AN EXCLAIMATION MARK. I PULLED OVER AND TURNED THE CAR OFF. I TURNED THE CAR BACK ON AND IT WAS FINE. STARTED DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND 5 MINS LATER IT DID IT AGAIN AND I COULD NOT STEER
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE "SERVICE TRANSMISSION" WARNING MESSAGE DISPLAYED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO CHANGED THE TRANSMISSION SENSOR, WHICH CAUSED THE TRANSMISSION TO FAIL. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED, BUT THE ABS SENSOR ILLUMINATED. AFTER REPLACING THE ABS SENSOR, THE REPLACEMENT TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 400. UPDATED 02/05/16*LJ *CN
I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2015 DODGE DART AND 64 DAYS AFTER PURCHASING THE LOWER CONTROL ARM BROKE OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY CAUSING THE WHEEL TO GET LODGED INTO THE FENDER AND JAM THE DOOR. CHRYSLER REFUSES TO COVER THE REPAIRS NOR WILL THEY ALLOW THE MANUFACTURES WARRANTY TO COVER THE REPAIRS. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A CAR FOR 5 MONTHS DURING THIS TIME I HAVE LOST MY JOB HAD TO RELOCATE MY FAMILY TO A SMALLER HOME AND NOW HAVE A CREDIT SCORE OF 394 WHEN 6 MONTHS AGO IT WAS A 720. CHRYSLER NEEDS TO BE STOPPED BECAUSE THEY ARE CARELESS INDIVIDUALS WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF ITS CONSUMERS. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME A CONTROL ARM HAS BROKEN AND IT WILL NOT BE THE LAST TIME IF SOMETHING ISN'T DONE ABOUT IT THE NEXT PERSON MAY NOT LIVE TO TELL THEIR STORY AND THAT IS VERY SAD TO EVEN IMAGINE.
DRIVING AT APPROX. 20 MPH, GETTING READY TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN INTO A PARKING LOT, BATTERY LIGHT ILLUMINATED, INSTRUMENT PANEL WENT BLACK, TOTAL LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER AND STEERING. COASTED INTO A PARKING SPACE AND RETURNED TO CAR IN ABOUT 20 MINUTES. CAR STARTED AND ACTED NORMAL. NEXT INCIDENT WAS ABOUT 35 MILES LATER DRIVING ABOUT 35 MPH IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA. SAME SENARIO, BATTERY LIGHT ILLUMINATED BLACK PANEL AND LOSS OF STEERING. TOOK 10 MINUTES FOR CAR TO REGAIN POWER AND START. THIRD EPISODE AT ABOUT 45 MPH, BATTERY LIGHT FLASHED, I SHOVED SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL, PANEL REMAINED LIT, BUT NO RPM SO ENGINE HAD QUIT. I PUSHED START BUTTON, ENGINE RESTARTED AND I PUT SHIFT LEVER INTO DRIVE. TOOK TO DEALER BUT NO CODES. THIS CAR IS DANGEROUS BUT ISSUE CANNOT BE DUPLICATED AT THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE IT IS INTERMITTENT. I AM TRYING TO GET CHRYSLER TO REPURCHASE THIS DEATH TRAP.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE WERE MINOR NECK AND BACK INJURIES SUSTAINED AND MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS REQUIRED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,500.
DODGE DART GT 2015 SUDDENLY SHUTS OFF. NO WARNING LIGHTS ONLY A DINGING NOISE. ONLY 4200 MILES ON CAR THE FIRST TIME. SHUT OFF 8 DIFFERENT TIMES SENSE THEN. TOOK IT TO DEALER WAS TOLD OUT OF OIL. CAR WOULD SHUT OFF TURNING OR STOPPING FAST. GOT OIL CHANGE FROM DEALER. LESS THAN 4000 MILES LATER SAME THING, CAR SHUT OFF AND RADIO STILL ON AND DASH LIGHTS WORKING ONE DING NOISE. TURNED ONTO BUSY ROAD AND DART SHUT OFF, WAS SCARY FOR A FEW MINUTES FAST TRAFFIC COMING FROM BEHIND, HAD TO GET OFF ROAD QUICK. OIL NOT LEAKING IN DRIVEWAY. TECH AT DEALER SAID HE SAW THIS PROBLEM BEFORE AND TOLD ME TO WATCH MY ENGINE. CAR HAS NEVER MAID TO A 5000 MILE OIL CHANGE WITHOUT SHUTTING OFF. ONE TIME SHUT OFF AFTER ONLY 2540 MILES SENSE LAST OIL CHANGE. DEALER FOUND NO SIGNS OF LEAKS OR SIGNS OF OIL BURNING UP. THE 7TH OIL CHANGE THEY REPROGRAMMED THE OIL SENSOR. LOSING ALL MY FREE OIL CHANGES TO QUICKLY. NOW I'M 750 MILES FROM DUE OIL CHANGE AND SHUT OFF AGAIN. I CHECKED OIL STICK - BONE DRY. PUT 2 QUARTS OIL ( O2 20W) IN , THAT GOT ME TO THE BOTTOM OF LOW MARK ON STICK. CAR RUNNING OK TO GET TO DEALER AGAIN.ALSO CHECKED OIL GAGE IN CAR, SAID:43% OIL LIFE REMAINING. THAT WAS A LIE. OIL IS ALWAYS VERY LOW AND ENGINE HOT BUT NOT OVERHEATING. OIL SHOULD BE DIRTY AND MAYBE A LITTLE LOW BUT NOT VERY VERY LOW. I WANT TO MAKE THE CAR LAST 150 TO 200 THOUSAND MILES WITH GOOD CARE. WORRIED ENGINE WILL NOT EVEN GET CLOSE. GOT EXTENDED WARRANTY. CAR ENGINE GONNA BLOW UP BEFORE IT'S TIME AND BLAME ME. CAR SHUTTING OFF WITH NO WARNING AND NO OIL, CANT GET TO 5000 MILE OIL CHANGE. HAD A 2013 DART, LOVED IT, TRADED IN FOR 2015 WITH BETTER WARRANTY. MISS OLD DART.
DRIVING TO WORK ON INTERSTATE 696 DRIVING THROUGH ROYAL OAK WEST BOUND, THE ENGINE JUST SHUTS OFF, AND SHOWS ON THE DASH ENGINE TROUBLE AND ELECTRIC SYMBOL AS WELL, LUCKY I WAS IN THE LEFT LANE AND WAS ABLE TO GET OVER, BUT IT HAS BEEN DOING THIS SINCE I GOT THE CAR , DEALER STATES THEY FIXED IT 3 TIMES STILL DOING THE SAME THING. I HAVE ALL THE PAPERS WORK SINCE IT STARTED AT 5000 MILES.
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END COLLISION. SPEED BEFORE IMPACT WAS 40-45 MPH. THE APPROXIMATE SPEED AT IMPACT WAS 30-35 MPH. A CAR TURNED IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WITH VERY LITTLE TIME TO REACT. THE FRONT AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY THOUGH THE FRONT END WAS DAMAGED AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVEABLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL UNKNOWN DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS LOW ON OIL, ALTHOUGH THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS ROUTINELY TAKEN TO IN FOR OIL CHANGES. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 500.
MY KNEE HIT THE IGNITION KEY WHILE DRIVING TO DALLAS AND THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN. I WAS ABLE TO PULL THE CAR OVER, FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED AND RESUMED MY TRIP.

THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO ANOTHER DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DRIVER SIDE LOWER CONTROL ARM FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 10,000.
I WAS DRIVING TO WORK AND MY STEERING AXEL ON THE RIGHT HAND FRONT TIRE BROKE IN HALF. I THOUGHT THAT I HIT A POT HOLE BUT THERE WAS NO POT HOLE. I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY DID NOT WANT TO FIX IT. I CALLED THE CHRYSLER COMPANY AND THEY STATED THERE WASN'T ANY RECALLS. I FIND IT A LITTLE WIRED THAT THERE WAS I DIDN'T GET A FLAT TIRE THE AXEL JUST BROKE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE'S GEAR SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL INDEPENDENTLY AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. AN ERROR MESSAGE APPEARED, INDICATING TO SHIFT THE VEHICLE INTO REVERSE AND THEN INTO DRIVE. THE CONTACT CONTINUED TO DRIVE AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AS IT STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHILE DRIVING OUT OF STATE, THE GEAR SHIFTER FAILED TO SHIFT OUT OF GEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN UNKNOWN DEALER IN LAS VEGAS, NV WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS NOT SHIFTING CORRECTLY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V293000 (POWER TRAIN), BUT THE PART NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 117,000.
MY GAS SAYS EMPTY AFTER I FILL IT AND THAN 10 MIN INTO DRIVING ITS FULL MY CONTROLLS GO HAYWIRE I AM GOING 65MPH ALL OF A SUDDEN I AM GOING 5 MPH AND EVERYTHING TURNS OFF ON THE PANEL, MY ENGINE MAKE A LOUD NOISE AFTER DRIVING IT FOR A WHILE. MY BRAKES MAKE A PLONG SOUND EVERYTIME I STEP ON THEM TO PUT IN DRIVE OR REVERSE
WAS GOING THROUGH CAR WASH AND ATTENDANT NOTICED A BULGE IN THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE. TOOK IT TO DEALER AND WAS TOLD NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND THAT I MUST HAVE HIT A POTHOLE ( WHICH I DID NOT) THAT'S THE ONLY WAY IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED. I AM VERY CAREFUL BECAUSE OF THE WARNING GIVEN BY A SALESPERSON WHEN WE LEASED THE VEHICLE.
AS I WAS DRIVING, I SLOWED AND BRAKED FOR OTHER VEHICLES AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT. AS I STARTED TO RE-ACCELORATE, I REALIZED THE CAR HAD STALLED. WHEN I GOT THE CAR RE-STARTED, IT WAS RUNNING VERY ROUGH AND THE CHECK ENGINE, THE TRACTION CONTROL AND THE CRUISE CONTROL LIGHTS WERE ALL LIT AND/OR FLASHING. AFTER I GOT HOME, I DECIDED TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER. THIS TIME, THE CAR DROVE FAIRLY NORMALLY WITH ONLY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED IN ONLY 3600 MILES. (THE FIRST TIME WAS AT APPROX. 280 MILES AND THE SECOND TIME WAS AT ABOUT 500 MILES.) THE DEALER'S SERVICE WRITER IMPLIED SINCE THIS CAR HAS AN ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL, IT WAS MY DRIVING STYLE AT FAULT. I HAVE DRIVEN SEVERAL OTHER CARS WITH ELECTRONIC THROTTLES FOR SEVERAL YEARS (MY PREVIOUS CAR HAD 120,000 MILES ON IT) AND THIS IS THE ONLY TIME ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAS HAPPENED.
I WENT OUT TO MY CAR AND NOTICED A LARGE BULGE ON TOP OF DRIVER TIRE. TOOK TO DEALER SHIP [XXX] AND THEY SAID IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE CAR IS USING OIL AND WILL COMPLETELY DIE WHILE DRIVING. WHEN IT BECOMES EMPTY IF I COME TO A STOP IT WILL COMPLETELY DIE AND I LOSE ALL POWER STEERING AND THE CAR STRUGGLES TO TURN BACK ON. DODGE IS AWARE OF THIS ISSUE ON SO MANY DARTS AND NOTHING IS BEING FIXED. THIS ENGINE NEEDS TO BE RECALLED! TWICE BETWEEN OIL CHANGES THIS LAST TIME I HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY EMPTY. THIS HAS HAPPENED SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING THAT I HAD THE CAR.
WHILE DRIVING THE SPEEDOMETER STICKS STICKS AT TIMES THE ROUND ONE NOT THE DIGITAL ONE.
I PURCHASED MY 2015 DODGE DART ON JANUARY 19, 2015. THE VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS APPROXIMATELY 1800 MILES ON IT. THIS MORNING WHEN BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY I TURNED THE STEERING WHEEL TO BACK INTO THE ROAD. WHILE TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL I HEARD A RUBBING AND A SLIGHT CLANKING SOUND. TO GIVE A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON MY EXPERIENCE. ONE OF MY JOB FUNCTIONS IS DRIVING NEW VEHICLE'S TO LISTEN FOR UNIDENTIFIED INTERIOR NOISES. I ALSO INSPECT NEW VEHICLE'S FOR ANY TYPE OF EXTERIOR PAINT DEFECTS, BODY PANEL FIT AND ALIGNMENT, PAINT SEEDS, CHIPS, ETC...I BASICALLY INSPECT THE VEHICLE'S BEFORE THEY ARE SHIPPED TO THE DEALER. I WORK FOR A TOP AUTOMOTIVE MAKER. WITH THIS SAID, I UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN VEHICLES ARE NEW QUITE A FEW OF THEM MAKE SUSPENSION SOUNDS SIMILAR TO WHAT I DESCRIBED BECAUSE, THEY ARE STILL TIGHT, NOT BROKEN IN , ETC...THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT THE CASE WITH THIS DODGE DART. I HAD TO DRIVE AROUND TOWN FOR SEVERAL HOURS TODAY RUNNING ERRANDS. MAKING OF SHARP TURNS AT STOP SIGNS, INTO PARKING SPOTS, ETC...THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO MAKE THIS SOUND ALL DAY AS I MADE ANY SHARP, LOW SPEED TURNS. THIS VEHICLE HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY MADE THIS SOUND OR ANY SOUND SIMILAR, UNTIL TODAY. I BELIEVE THERE IS A DEFECT SOMEWHERE IN THE SUSPENSION OR STEERING COLUMN. I AM THE ONLY PERSON THAT HAS EVER DRIVEN THE CAR SINCE PURCHASED NEW. I HAVE NOT HIT ANY POT HOLES, OR HAD ANY OTHER INCIDENCES THAT COULD CAUSE THIS ISSUE. I HAVE NOT CONTACTED THE DEALER AS OF RIGHT NOW. I WILL CONTACT THEM FIRST THING TOMORROW TO HAVE THE VEHICLE CHECKED OUT BY THEIR MECHANICS. I KNOW THAT OTHER DART OWNERS HAVE AND STILL ARE EXPERIENCING THIS SAME ISSUE. I'VE READ OF SEVERAL MODEL YEARS 2013-14 WITH THE EXACT ISSUE AND A MAJORITY OF THEM HAVE GOTTEN THE RUNAROUND FROM THEIR DODGE DEALERSHIPS. I HOPE THIS ISSUE GETS INVESTIGATED FURTHER. *TR
I PURCHASED THE CAR THE LAST WEEK OF FEBRUARY. I BEGAN HAVING CAR PROBLEMS IN MID MARCH. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS SCHEDULED TO COME IN FOR SERVICE. WAS TOLD THE SOFTWARE NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. GOT CAR BACK AND IT STOPPED ON ME TWICE AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. IN MAY I WAS GIVEN A LOANER CAR AND WAS TOLD MY OIL CONSUMPTION WAS BAD. RECEIVED CAR BACK IN JUNE AND CAR WAS REPOSED FOR NONPAYMENT. I GOT CAR OUT AND IT STOPPED AGAIN. IN JULY THE DEALERSHIP THEN GAVE ANOTHER LOANER AND TOLD ME MY CAR WILL BE A CHRYSLER BUYBACK. FROM JULY TO SEPTEMBER NEVER HEARD ANYTHING FROM CHRYSLER TILL SEPT 24 ADVISING ME TO GO TO THE DEALERSHIP TO CHOOSE ANOTHER VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP DID NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT SO WE CONTACTED CHRYSLER TO GET A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. WAS TOLD TO CHOOSE A CAR AND THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE REGISTRATION AND THE PAPER WORK. DROVE THE 2015 JEEP RENEGADE FOR ALMOST A MONTH AND I CHECKED IN WITH THE DEALERSHIP ONCE A WEEK TO FIND OUT IF THE PAPERWORK WAS COMPLETE. FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER WAS TOLD BY DEALERSHIP TO BRING BACK THE JEEP AND MY 2015 DART WAS REPAIRED. I WAS TOLD TO REGISTER THE DODGE DART AND THEN I COULD GET THE JEEP BACK.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, AT NIGHT, WHICH HAD A SPEED LIMIT MARKED AT 25 MILES PER HOUR. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF POTHOLES THAT I NOTICED SO I DECREASED MY SPEED AND WAS GOING BETWEEN 15 AND 20 MILES PER HOUR TRYING TO AVOID ANY THAT I SAW. I ENDED UP HITTING ONE WHICH WAS UNAVOIDABLE, AND HARD TO SEE SINCE THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AT NIGHT; I WAS GOING APPROX. 20 MILES PER HOUR (5 UNDER THE RECOMMENDED SPEED). WHEN THE CAR HIT THE POTHOLE THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE POPPED, THE DEALERSHIP SAID THE SIDEWALL HAD BEEN BLOWN OUT. ABOUT A MONTH LATER THE SAME TIRE HAD A SIDEWALL BLOWOUT AGAIN AFTER HITTING A POTHOLE, ONCE AGAIN AT NIGHT TIME WHILE GOING 35 MILES PER HOUR ON A ROAD THAT WAS MARKED 35 MILES PER HOUR, THE RIM WAS ALSO DAMAGED IN THIS INCIDENT. ANOTHER INCIDENT RECENTLY HAPPENED EARLIER IN JUNE 2015 WHERE I WAS MERGING INTO TRAFFIC AND DRIVING APPROX. 35 MILES PER HOUR AND WHEN I TURNED MY HEAD BACK AROUND THE POTHOLE HAD ALREADY BEEN UNAVOIDABLE, THIS TIME IT WAS THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE. THIS RIM WAS ALSO DAMAGED DURING THE INCIDENT, AND A WEEK AFTER I RECEIVED MY CAR BACK FROM THE DEALERSHIP I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND THEN MY TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ON THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE HAD WENT OUT. I HAD NOT HIT ANY HOLES, I WAS JUST CASUALLY DRIVING DOWN A MAIN ROAD WHILE ON MY WAY TO WORK. THE CAR WAS PURCHASED IN LATE JANUARY 2015, AND I HAVE BEEN DRIVING DOWN THE SAME ROADS AS MY OLD CAR WHICH WAS A 2000 HONDA ACCORD AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY BLOWOUTS OR INCIDENTS WITH THE HONDA, YET THIS 2015 DODGE DART HAS A BLOWOUT WITH THE SLIGHTEST POTHOLE ENCOUNTER.

VEHICLE HAD A DEFECTIVE, BROKEN CLASP SPRING WHICH COULD HAVE ALLOWED THE AIR BAG TO DEPLOY AT ANY TIME WHILE DRIVING....CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO THE DRIVER, PASSENGERS AND ALL OTHERS IN THE PATH OF THE VEHICLE DRIVING CALIFORNIA HIGHWAYS. THE VEHICLE WAS DEFECTIVE FROM THE MOMENT IT WAS DRIVEN OFF OF THE CAR LOT. *TR
WHILE DRIVING IN THE MORNING IN A NEIGHBORHOOD SPEED LIMIT OF 30, I DECREASE SPEED TO COME TO A FULL STOP AND SUDDENLY THE VEHICLE SHUTS OFF ENGINE POWER AND POWER STEERING AT APPROXIMATELY 10MPH. VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO START UNTIL THE 3RD ATTEMPT. HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO DEALER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE UNTIL THE VEHICLE STALLED THE 2ND TIME. THEY UPDATED PCM/TCM, BUT STILL HAD STALLING ISSUES. THIS VEHICLE HAD STALLED OVER 5 TIMES AND THE DEALER WERE NOT ABLE TO PIN POINT THE ISSUE. MY VEHICLE IS NOW AT APPROXIMATELY 15,400 MILES. I FEEL LIKE I'M ON THE EDGE AND UNSAFE EVERY TIME I GET BEHIND THE WHEEL. ALSO HAD TROUBLE WITH THE AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHTS NOT TURNING ON AND AS WELL AS THE REAR PASSENGER WINDOWS NOT CLOSING.
HEN THE CAR WAS 10 DAYS OLD I GOT HIT ON THE DRIVER SIDE AND IT WAS BAD BUSTED MY FACE UP . THE AIRBAG NEVER DEPLOIED A TREE FAILON THE FRONT OF THE CAR AND THE AIRBAGS NERER DEPLOIRD. THEN I RAN IN A TREE TO KEEP FROM HITTING A TREE ANDAIRBAGS STILL DIDNT DEPLOY. CAN YOU TELL ME WHY THEY HAVENT DEPLOY . THE FIRST ACCEDENT WAS BAD TOOK THEM 3 OR FOR MONTHS TO FIX IT. WHY ISTHIS CAR STILL ON THE ROAD?
