WHILE DRIVING, THERE WAS A SNAP AND A LOSS OF POWER BRAKES. ACCORDING TO THE REPAIR REPORT FROM DODGE, BRAKE FLUID FROM THE MASTER CYLINDER LEAKED INTO THE POWER BOOSTER CAUSING LOSS OF POWER BRAKES. THIS CAR IS A LITTLE OVER A YEAR OLD AND JUST OUT OF THE WARRENTY AT 37,000 MILES AND SINCE WE BOUGHT IT WITH 20,000 MILES ON IT, DODGE WOULD NOT HELP WITH THE REPAIR COST. THE 2013 AND 2014 DODGE DARTS WERE RECALLED FOR OLI LEAKING INTO THE POWER BOOSTER, BUT THIS APPEARS TO BE A FAILED MASTER CYLINDER. I'VE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH MASTER CYLINDERS OVER THE YEARS AND ALWAYS GOT MORE THAN A YEAR OUT OF A BRAND NEW MASTER CYLINDER. MAYBE I GOT THE ONLY FLUKE DODGE DART MASTER CYLINDER PROBLEM, OR MAYBE DODGE HAS BEEN PUTTING SUB-STANDARD BRAKE PARTS ON THESE CARS FOR YEARS. I SAVED THE OLD PARTS JUST IN CASE. I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE WORTH LOOKING INTO. WE NARROWLY AVOIDED A REAR-END ACCIDENT, AND SO DID THE DODGE SERVICE GUY WHEN WE BROUGHT IT IN. I APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT ON THIS. THANK YOU
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10-15 MPH, THE BRAKES FAILED TO ENGAGE WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE COLLIDED WITH THE REAR OF A TRUCK. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5,645.
NOV 2016, LOSS OF POWER WHILE DRIVING, WENT INTO NEUTRAL, WOULD START A FEW MINUTES LATER, BUT LOSS OF POWER AGAIN. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP & THEY REPLACED THE ENGINE. FEB 2017 KEY STOPPED WORKING, CHANGED BATTERY STILL DIDN'T WORK, CHANGED IT AGAIN & IT WORKED. APRIL 6, 2017 LOSS OF POWER COMPLETED DIED, I COULD NOT JUMP IT, COULD NOT LOCK MY DOORS, COULD NOT DO ANYTHING. PICKED UP CAR FROM DEALERSHIP ON APRIL 10, THEY SAID THAT THEY CHANGED THE BATTERY. WHILE STILL THERE PICKING UP MY CAR, MY BLINKER LIGHTS BLEW OUT, NOTIFICATION ON THE SCREEN SAYS RIGHT & LEFT BLINKER LIGHT OUT. THEY SWITCHED OUT THE BULBS. GOT IT HOME & NOTIFICATION SAID LOW BEAM LIGHTS OUT. THE NEXT MORNING HAD NO LIGHTS. TAKING TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN TOMORROW. I AM FORCING THEM TO LOOK AT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM I AM CLOSE TO MY 36000 MILE WARRANTY.
THE "PARKING LIGHT OUT" WARNING KEEPS COMING ON. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP THREE DIFFERENT TIMES AND EACH TIME WAS TOLD IT WAS FIXED. THE "FIX" LASTED FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND THEN THE WARNING MESSAGE WOULD RETURN. THE WARNING SHOWED UP AGAIN TODAY AFTER ABOUT A MONTH OF BEING OFF. ALSO, ALL THE TIRES HAVE EXTREME PRESSURE LOSS. IT WILL GO FROM 42 PSI DOWN TO 10 PSI OVER NIGHT WITH OUT ANY NOTICEABLE DAMAGE. AFTER INSPECTION THERE WAS NO APPARENT HOLES OR DAMAGES TO ANY PART OF THE TIRE. THE DEALERSHIP HAS REPLACES THE TIRES MULTIPLE TIMES AND THE PROBLEM CONTINUES. PARTIAL PRESSURE LOSS, BETWEEN 4 AND 10 PSI OCCURS DURING NORMAL DRIVING RANGE. HOWEVER, A SIGNIFICANT LOSS, BETWEEN 20 TO 30+ PSI, IS WELL THE VEHICLE IS IN PARKED STATE OVER A PERIOD OF REST USUALLY AROUND 6 TO 8 HOURS. MULTIPLE OF EVENTS NOTED BETWEEN APR 2015 AND NOV 2016.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 21,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
THE CAR SHUTS OFF WHILE I AM DRIVING-SHUTS OFF AT STOP SIGN, TRAFFIC LIGHT, OR IF I AM TURNING IN.

THE DEALER FLASHED THE SOFTWARE FOR THE PCM, REPLACED A MODULE, AND REPROGRAMMED THE MODULE. AFTER THE DEALER'S REPAIR, THE CONDITION CONTINUED WITH THE VEHICLE STALLING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,693.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. PRIOR TO THE FAILURE, THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESPOND WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE DEALER STATED THAT, DUE TO A LOW BATTERY, THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE INDEPENDENTLY. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED, BUT THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE FAILURE COULD RECUR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I RECENTLY NOTICED THAT BOTH FRONT TIRES FROM MY DODGE DART 2015 HAVE A HUGE BULGE, I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND SAID THAT WE HAVE TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER OF THE TIRE WHICH I WILL DO AFTER I POST THIS COMPLAIN. PEOPLE AT THE DEALER AND AT SEARS (DAYS AFTER I WENT FOR A NAIL IN ONE TIRE FROM BEHIND) SAID THE SAME TO CONTACT MANUFACTURER AND THAT IT SHOULD HAVE WARRANTY. IT IS WEIRD SINCE I NEVER EVER OVER INFLATED THE TIRES, THEY ARE ALWAYS AT THE RECOMMENDED AIR PRESSURE AND NEVER HIT SOME HUGE POT HOLE OR SOMETHING LIKE IT.
VEHICLE IS BURNING OIL WAY TO FAST. I GET MY OIL CHANGES FREQUENTLY AND HAVE TO KEEP A BIG BOTTLE IN THE CAR AS EXTRA. THE VEHICLE CAN BE DRIVING AND JUST COMPLETELY SHUT OFF IN MOTION. WHEN I ADD MORE OIL THAT CAR CUTS BACK ON. I DON'T HAVE ANY OIL SPOTS WHEN I PARK MY VEHICLE SO I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE THE OIL IS GOING. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ARE ON. I TAKE IT TO THE SHOP AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS. THIS IS AN ISSUE I HAD SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. I'M COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED WITH HOW DANGEROUS THIS CAR IS. THIS PROBLEM IS STILL CURRENT TIL THIS DAY 6/6/2018.
BRAKE LINES POPPED LEAKING FLUID ON GROUND AND THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR HAS BEEN ON FOR A LONG TIME AND I KEEP GETTING TOLD THAT I JUST NEED TO DRIVE IT

WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE SIDEWALL HAD BULGED OUT. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER. THE TIRE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE TIRE AND VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,540.
NO OIL LIGHT ON, NO ENGINE LIGHT, AND IT STALLED. THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH OIL CONSUMPTION WITH THE 2.4 ENGINE. MY CAR DIED AFTER BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND STARTING A TURN. Y CAR STALLED OUT TWICE IN THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTIONS VERY DANGEROUS. BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON, MUSIC CONTINUED, BUT ENGINGE JUST DIED. THE STEERING WHEEL FROZE (NO MORE POWER STEERING), AND I COULDN'T PRESS MY BRAKE DOWN, IT JUST SAT THERE IN THE ROAD. I CHECKED THE LEVEL OF MY OIL AND IT DOESN'T EVEN COVER THE CURVED PART OF THE DIPSTICK, THAT'S HOW LOW IT IS.THE CAR STALLED OUT AGAIN, A FEW MONTHS AFTER THE OIL CHANGE. THE CAR IS NOT INDICATING WHEN IT NEEDS OIL, AND IS SHUTTING ITSELF OFF SO IT DOESN'T OVER HEAT WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS 70MPH+ AND IN THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTIONS WHILE TURNING.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN WAS FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24,900.
THE CAR IS STUCK IN NEUTRAL AND NOT SWITCHING GEARS FOR DRIVE. UNABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR. PRESSING GAS PEDAL AND CAR DOES NOT MOVE IN DRIVE.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 81,000.
TAKATA RECALL I BOUGHT A DODGE DART 2015 UNDER THE FACTORY WARRANTY AND EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE DAY OF JULY 19, 2016. AFTER THE 3 DAYS THE CAR STOP WORKING WHEN I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET AT STOPLIGHT. I CALLED A TOW TO TAKE IT TO MY AUTOMARKET TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE DIAGNOSTIC WAS THE GAS BOMB PROBLEM WHICH ITS COVERED AS THE AUTOMARKET SAID. ONE WEEK LATER DODGE CRAYSLER RAM CALLED ME TO SAY THAT WHEN THEY OPENED THE GAS BOMB THE MECHANIC FOUND WATER INSIDE SO SOME PARTS WERE CONTAMINATED AND THE FACTORY WARRANTY DOESNT COVERED. THEY SAID THAT THOSE THINGS HAPPENED AND IS NOBODY FAULT BUT I HAVE TO PAY THEM FOR THE SERVICE A TOTAL OF 1140 DLLS WHICH I DON'T HAVE . MY DEALER WHO'S MAZDA EL CAJON DOESN'T WANT TO USE MY EXTENDED WARRANTY EITHER AND ALSO WANT ME TO PAY. I HOPE YOU CAN HELP WITH THE PURCHASE OF MY FIRST CAR THANK YOU
CAR WILL CUT OFF GOING DOWN ROAD AND WILL NOT CRANK BACK FOR AT LEAST 3 MIN. I HAVE ALMOST BEEN HIT BY OTHER TRAFFIC ON VARIOUS OCCASIONS. THIS STARTED BACK IN JULY 2016.DEALERSHIP SAYS IT'S A SAFETY TO KEEP CAR FROM BLOWING UP WHEN IT HAS LOW OIL. THE CAR BURNS EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF OIL. PROBLEM IS I HAVE OIL CHANGED ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE AND BETWEEN OIL CHANGES TO PREVENT CAR FROM CUTTING OFF IN MIDDLE OF THE ROAD I HAVE TO PUT ANY WHERE FROM 15 TO 25 QUARTS OF OIL IN. IT'S GETTING WORSE. IT'S NOT LEAKING ANYWHERE. ALSO SOMETIMES OUT OF NO WHERE WITH MY FOOT NOT ON ACCELERATOR IT SEEMS TO ACCELERATE ON IT'S ON. THE CAR ALSO HESITATES ON TAKEOFF OFTEN.
Every since July 12th, 2016 25,993 I’ve had this car checked for electrical problems at the dealership and they always say they can see the drain but they couldn’t help but the problem has been tracked down to the body control module #3 electrical that stays on drawing 1.5amps every second and surges and tons of other people have the same issue as me proof all over the internet also it leaks a ton of oil out of the pvc into the intake coating the map sensor making it idle rough
The electrical has a parasitic drain and it puts so much strain on the car that it will shut down on highways and in idle surging and it has no error codes popping up at all it originally started happening July 12th 2016 but a lot of these 2015 dodge darts are having these issues and having shut downs in the middle of intersections-highways and so on that this needs to be urgently recalled I desperately need help with this i take care of my disabled mother by myself and this has been a issue with this car for a while and well documented at the dealership with no help or recourse
The dodge dealership had me to come in to reprogram my cars pcm(under Recall) because it was burning a quart of oil in less than 300 miles and getting extremely hot but now the engine has less oil burn as much as before but has less horsepower(tested by plugin meter) and has a ton of blowby that it blows oil out of drain plug there is no error codes or anything but the extended warranty test for a new engine isnt covered because they reprogrammed the pcm and to get a new engine under their extended warranty i would have to lose the amount of oil that i was previously before they touched the PCM they waited to show me the extended warranty after they reprogrammed it a year prior withholding that i could been eligible for new engine without catastrophic damage this car also has bcm 3 that has severe parasitic drain making the car unsafe all the way around on all 2015 models

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
I BOUGHT MY CAR APRIL 2ND 2015 USE FROM MONTROSE KIA OF SHEFFIELD AND LOVE IT FOR THE FIRST 2 MONTH THEN I STARTED EXPERIENCING MY CAR JUST RANDOMLY STALLING ON MY WHILE I'M DRIVING AND THEN WON'T WANT TO START AGAIN IT.. SO I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM WITH MY CAR BECAUSE IT DIDN'T HAPPEN WHILE THEY TEST DROVE IT OF COURSE SO I LEFT THEN A A MONTH OR SO WENT BY AND IT DID IT AGAIN SO I CALLED THE DODGE HOTLINE PLUS TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER AND STILL COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR AND ONCE AGAIN IT HAPPENED TO ME TONIGHT 4 TIMES SO I CALLED THE DODGE HOTLINE ONCE AGAIN TOLD THEM WHAT'S GOING ON AND I TOLD THEM THAT I HAVE IT ON RECORDING AND I WAS GONNA START RECORDING IT EVERY TIME I DRIVE... I CAN'T AFFORD TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN AND THE LADY SAID THAT'S ALL I CAN DO IS TAKE IT TO THE NEAREST DODGE DEALER AND HAVE IT DIAGNOSED BUT THAT COST $250 THAT I CAN'T AFFORD.. I BOUGHT A 2015 FOR A REASON SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY CAR BRAKING DOWN AND YET IT'S BRAKING DOWN ON ME! THANKS DODGE!! THE CONTACT HAD TO APPLY THE EMERGENCY BRAKE IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE BOOSTER, MASTER CYLINDER, AND A VACUUM LINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. MY 18 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING IN MOTION WHEN STEERING WENT OUT CAUSING VEHICLE TO GO INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC ALMOST CAUSING ACCIDENT VEHICLE WAS ON ACME RD IN RITTMAN OHIO A COUNTRY ROAD MOVING FORWARD AT 50 MPG STEERING DID NOT RESPOND TO MY STEERING UNTIL I HAD TO SLAM ON BRAKES ALMOST HITTING INCOMING CAR. TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY 3 BULLETIN REPAIRS.

DRIVING HOME FROM MY PARENTS HOUSE MAYBE A MILE AWAY FROM HOME AIR PRESSURE GAUGE LIGHT ILLUMINATED WE LIVE LESS THAN A MILE AWAY FROM LOCAL GAS STATION THAT HAS AIR PUMP. WE DROVE MY WIFE AND THREE KIDS TO THE GAS STATION TO GET AIR IN THE DEFLATED TIRED AS SOON AS THE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. AS WE APPROACHED THE GAS STATION LITERALLY 150 FT AWAY, THE CAR STARTS TO SHAKE AND RUMBLE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE LEFT TIRE. JUST HAD THE CAR AT THE DEALER LAST SATURDAY WITH NO MENTION OF ISSUES WITH THE TIRES. UPON INSPECTION THE SIDEWALL OF THE KUMHO KH25 TIRES WAS CRACKING. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION YOU CAN SEE NOTICEABLE WEAR ON THE SIDE WALLS OF THE OTHER TIRES. CAR STARTED TO RUMBLE FOR ANOTHER 20-30 FEET BEFORE WE WERE ABLE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND EVALUATE. THIS IS PRETTY UNACCEPTABLE TO ME KUHMO TIRES HAVE APPARENTLY HAD A PRETTY BAD REPUTATION HERE IN THE US WHY ARE MANUFACTURES STILL USING THIS COMPANY?!?! I'VE HAD MY CAR FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND I HAVE 9850 MILES ON MY VEHICLE. AROUND 1AM AFTER COMING BACK HOME FROM WORK GOING 60MPH, I HEARD A LOUD CLUNK IN MY STEERING WHEEL AND I DECIDED TO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO IT BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS THE ROAD. I TRIED TO SWITCH LANES, WHEN SUDDENLY I COULDN'T MOVE MY STEERING WHEEL AT ALL. LUCKILY THERE WAS NO ONE BEHIND ME SO I STARTED TO SLOW DOWN AS SOON AS I HIT ABOUT 13MPH MY STEERING WHEEL BECAME UNSTUCK AND I WAS ABLE TO MOVE AGAIN. THE NEXT DAY I TOOK IT TO HUNTER DODGE IN LANCASTER CA AND WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN THEY TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. ABOUT 3 DAYS LATER, I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 60MPH AGAIN AND MY CAR STARTED TO DRIFT INTO THE DIRT WHILE I WAS GOING BACK HOME. I TRIED RE-CENTERING MY CAR TO THE CENTER, BUT MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED ONCE MORE AND I STARTED GOING INTO THE DIRT. I SLAMMED ON MY BRAKES AND LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO STOP BEFORE I HIT A TREE. I TOOK IT BACK A 2ND TIME AND ASKED THEM TO LOOK AT IT AGAIN AND THEY HAD IT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND THEY STILL DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. LUCKILY THE TIMES IT HAS HAPPENED I WAS ALONE IN THE CAR. INAM.GLAD TO SAY THAT MY FAMILY AND MY SOON TO BE WIFE WASN'T IN THAT CAR. I CANNOT DRIVE MY CAR TO LA BECAUSE OF THE FEAR THAT MY STEERING WHEEL MAY LOCK UP ON ME WHILE ON THE FREEWAY. PLEASE HELP.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE CAR STARTED SHAKING WHEN I REACHED 65 MPH. WHEN I GOT TO 70 MPH, IT STOPPED I THOUGHT I WAS OKAY BUT I WASN'T. THE TIRE SEPARATED FROM THE AXLE AND THE LOWER CONTROL ARM FELL OFF CAUSING ME TO CRASH. I RAN INTO A GUARDRAIL AND IF IT WASN'T THERE, THE CAR WOULDN'T HAVE STOPPED AND I COULD POSSIBLY BE DEAD. UPON IMPACT, THE AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY EITHER. THIS IS LIFE THREATENING. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS VEHICLE!!! THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THE CONTROL ARM FELL OFF. IT FELL OFF 3 OTHER TIMES TO. I AM FED UP WITH CHRYSLER. THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS VEHICLE. IT IS A CASKET ON WHEELS. IT IS A DEATH TRAP AND THE NEXT TIME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS, THE PERSON MIGHT NOT LIVE TO TELL THE STORY. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE CONTACT RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AND RESUMED DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT CONFIGURED PROPERLY AND THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,398.
MY CAR HAS 1550 MILES ON IT. IT WAS PARKED IN MY CAR PORT WITH SHIFT IN PARK. I STARTED THE CAR AS NORMAL. THE CAR WAS IDLING AT 750RPM THEN AFTER ABOUT ONE MINUTE THE ENGINE ROARED TO 5000RPM FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS AND THEN RETURNED TO NORMAL 750RPM. MY FOOT WAS NOT TOUCHING OR NEAR THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL DURING THIS TIME. HAD I BEEN BACKING OUT OF THE CAR PORT DURING THIS PERIOD THE RESULTS WOULD NO DOUBT HAVE BEEN SERIOUS. ALTHOUGH IT HAS NOT REPEATED IN THE THREE DAYS FOLLOWING THE INCIDENT, NEVERTHELESS IT WORRIES ME THAT IT MIGHT HAPPEN WHILE IN GEAR RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT.
I HAVE HAD ISSUES SINCE THE DAY I BOUGHT THE CAR. I HAVE 26,000 MILES AND AM ON MY THIRD SET OF TIRES. THE DEALER TELLS ME THAT THEY DO NOT FEEL ANYTHING IS WRONG YET THE TIRES KEEP WEARING OUT AND ONE RECENTLY HAD A BULGE, I COMPLAINED OF A WHIRLING SOUND AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE TIRES, I REPLACED THE TIRES AND IT IS STILL THERE. I KEEP TAKING THE CAR IN AND IT IS ONE EXCUSE AFTER ANOTHER. I REPORT THE ISSUES TO DODGE AND THEY TELL ME TO GO TO THE DEALER. A MECHANIC AT THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT THE CAR RUNS LIKE A TRACTOR TRAILER, IT IS IDLING AT 2,000 RPM IN PARK WHEN IT SHOULD BE 900 OR LESS AND IT SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS AN ISSUE IN THE REAR END AND ENGINE MOUNT ISSUES. I'M AFRAID THE CAR WILL FALL APART WHILE I'M DRIVING IT. I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP ME GET DODGE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE ISSUES ARE. THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME MY DRIVING HABITS ARE THE REASON I NEED TIRES EVERY 10,000 MILES. I HAVE A CAMARO THAT I DRIVE LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL AND GOT MY FIRST SET OF TIRES AT 50,000 MILES. 2015 DODGE DART REFUSED PA. STATE INSPECTION DUE TO FAULTY YOKOHAMA S34 225/4018 TIRE (BULGE ON SIDEWALL). CAR IS NEW WITH 2,100 MILES AND CAME WITH SAID TIRES ON IT. INFORMED TIRES HAVE WEAK SIDEWALLS, BUT STILL DEFECT HAD TO BE LISTED AS ROAD HAZARD, NO MARKS OR DAMAGE TO WHEEL OR TIRE AND WASN'T BROKEN DOWN FOR EXAMINATION. WE HAVE TO PAY $200.00 FOR NEW TIRE. CONTACTED YOKOHAMA WAS TOLD WHAT EVER DEALER SAYS IS LAW, THEY DO NOT CONFIRM DEFECTS, NOR DO THEY CARE ABOUT DOING SUCH.

WHENEVER I PRESS THE HORN THERE IS A DELAY OF ABOUT ONE SECOND FROM WHEN I PRESS IT TILL WHEN YOU HEAR THE SOUND OF THE HORN. PLENTY OF TIMES, AS WELL, WHEN YOU PRESS THE HORN NO SOUND IS PRODUCED. SOMETIMES IT IS NECESSARY TO PRESS THE HORN A REALLY HARD IN ORDER TO PRODUCE A SOUND. SEVERAL TIMES THIS HAS LED TO A NEAR ACCIDENT. THIS HAPPENS WHEN EITHER THE OTHER DRIVER WASN'T NOTIFIED QUICKLY ENOUGH OF MY PRESENTS OR HE NOTICED BUT IT WAS TOO LATE AND THERE WAS A NEAR ACCIDENT.

SATURDAY JANUARY 9 2016 - HERTZ RENTAL CAR - DAYTIME LIGHT FOGGY CONDITIONS. VEHICLE HAD BEEN RUNNING SINCE 09:35 EDT WITH NO SIMILAR INCIDENT. INCIDENT 1 - DRIVING INTERSTATE 79 NB IN A DESCENDING RIGHT RIGHT TURN WITH CRUISE CONTROL SET TO MAINTAIN SPEED LIMIT. APPLIED BRAKES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CURVE DUE TO SLOWER TRAFFIC. ALL ELECTRICAL INCLUDING ENGINE QUIT OPERATING AT APPROXIMATELY 13:35 EDT. WAS ABLE TO SAFELY PULL OFF ROADWAY WITHOUT TURN SIGNALS (ALSO INOP). A SHORT INVESTIGATION SHOWED THE IGNITION SWITCH WAS IN THE "OFF" POSITION. VEHICLE READILY RESTARTED WITH TRANSMISSION IN "PARK" POSITION (NOT "NEUTRAL"). INCIDENT 2 - AT APPROXIMATELY 17:25 EDT I EXITED INTERSTATE 376 EB ONTO A UPWARDLY INCLINED SURFACE ROAD WAITING AT A STOP SIGN, ALL ELECTRICAL POWER AND ENGINE QUIT OPERATING. THE IGNITION SWITCH WAS DISCOVERED TO BE IN THE "OFF" POSITION AGAIN. VEHICLE RESTARTED WITH NO TROUBLE, WITH TRANSMISSION IN "PARK" POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO ITS VACATION DESTINATION IN BEAVER COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA AND THEN RETURNED TO ITS ORIGIN AT THE RALEIGH-DURHAM AIRPORT WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT ON FRIDAY EVENING 15 JANUARY 2016. MY INVESTIGATION SUGGESTS THE COMBINATION OF THE RENTAL COMPANY TIGHTLY TYING THE TWO VEHICLE KEYS TOGETHER AND THE LOW CLOSE PROXIMITY OF THE IGNITION SWITCH TO THE DRIVER'S KNEE AND THE VERY LIGHT FORCES NEEDED TO TURN THE KEY AND THE LACK OF A POSITIVE "DETENT" WHEN THE KEY IS IN ANY POSITION SEEMS TO ENCOURAGE THE DRIVER FROM ACCIDENTALLY APPLYING ENOUGH FORCE ON THE UNUSED AND HANGING KEY TO TURN THE IGNITION TO THE "OFF" POSITION. SUBSEQUENTLY I CONSCIOUSLY AVOIDED MOVING MY KNEE ANYWHERE NEAR THE LOWER DASH PANEL AND DID NOT HAVE ANOTHER OCCURRENCE OF THE TWO INCIDENTS. . THIS SEEMS TO BE SIMILAR TO NHTSA ID# 10806589.

THERE WERE TWO ACCIDENTS WITHIN FOUR WEEKS RELATING TO THE BRAKES. THE FIRST ONE HAPPENED ON 11-12-2015 WHICH RESULTED IN NECK INJURY TO ONE PERSON AND SEVERAL OTHER MINOR COMPLAINTS. THE SECOND ACCIDENT WAS ON 12-09-2015 IN WHICH THE CAR WAS TOTALED AND ALL PARTIES FROM BOTH VEHICLES WERE TAKEN BY AMBULANCE TO THE HOSPITAL. THE FIRST TIME WAS ON A ROAD AND HER BREAKS MALFUNCTIONED AND SHE COULDN'T STOP. THE SECOND TIME SHE WAS UNABLE TO STOP AT A RED LIGHT BECAUSE OF THE BRAKES MALFUNCTIONING AGAIN, RESULTING IN THE VEHICLE BEING TOTALED. WILL FORWARD THE PICTURES ASAP.

NOVEMBER 1 2015 WHILE TRAVELING ON PARKWAY 376 IN PITTSBURGH PENNSYLVANIA . I BECAME TRAPPED BEHIND A PORTION OF A TREE THAT HAD MADE IT'S WAY IN THE LANE I ENTER THE PARKWAY. AFTER BEING FORCED TO STOP, AND PUT HAZARDS ON AND ATTEMPT TO MERGE INTO TRAFFIC. I WAS REAR ENDED BY A GMC ENVOY TRAVELING AT LEAST 55 MPH , FORCING ME INTO TREE I WAS TRYING TO AVOID .MY PASSENGER AND I LEFT IN EMS VEHICLES, MY CAR WAS RETURNED TO MONROEVILLE DODGE FOR REPAIRS. AFTER GETTING MY CAR BACK I NOTICED WHEN IT RAIN, OR SNOW THE TRUNK OF CAR WOULD GET WET. WHENEVER OPERATING THE CAR IN SPEEDS 35 MPH OR MORE , YOU COULD FEEL AIR COMING THROUGH BACKSEAT. AFTER RETURNING THE CAR TO DODGE FOR INSPECTION, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY FOUND NOTHING TO CAUSE PROBLEM. CAR WAS INSPECTED AND PASS WITH ONLY REQUIRING 2 REAR TIRES. AUGUST 2 2016 , WHILE AT A STOP SIGN, A DRIVER DRIVING A 2005 HONDA PILOT WITH ORIGINAL GRILL , REAR ENDED THE CAR, AT THIS TIME I DROVE MY CAR HOME, IN THE MORNING I NOTICED TIRES WERE BENT OUTWARD. AFTER FILING A CLAIM WITH THE DRIVER"S INSURANCE CO, I LEARNED THAT THE CAR WAS NOT ALIGNED AFTER REAR END HIT ON NOV 1 2015 THAT CAUSED CAR TO SLAM INTO THE TREE ON PARKWAY. AFTER THE INSURED FIX ONLY BODY , FOUND NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MECHANICAL DAMAGE, ONCE AGAIN THE CAR WAS REPAIR WITHOUT WHEEL ALIGNMENT BY MONROEVILLE DODGE AND OFFERED BACK FOR OPERATING ON ROAD. AFTER TAKING THE REPAIR STATEMENT TO OTHER AUTO BODY REPAIR SHOPS, AND PICTURES OF BOTH REAR END ACCIDENTS , I WAS ADVISED THE CAR COULD HAVE SUSTAINED FRAME DAMAGES FROM NOV 1 2015, MAKING IT UNABLE TO BE PROPERLY ALIGN AND UNSAFE FOR OPERATING. I'M CURRENTLY STILL IN A RENTAL CAR MY CAR IS STILL AT DODGE WITH NO WHEEL ALIGNMENT REPAIRS AFTER NEITHER ACCIDENT . DODGE HAS TOLD BOTH INSURANCE COMPANIES ,(STATE FARM NOV 1 2015, AND GEICO AUG 2, 2016) WHEEL ALLIGNMENT WAS NOT NEEDED. PLEASE HELP
