Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY WHEN I HEARD A LOUD NOISE. I LOOKED IN MY MIRRORS AND SAW A PIECE OF MY CAR IN THE MIRROR. IT WAS THE PLASTIC PIECE OFF MY DOOR. I COULDN'T STOP BEING ON THE HIGHWAY LUCKY THAT IT DIDN'T HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, SAM LEMAN IN MORTON ILLINOIS WHERE I WAS TOLD THIS HAPPENS WITH DURANGOS, BEING BLOWED OFF. TO ME THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD TO OTHER VEHICLES, ESPECIALLY IF A MOTORCYCLE WAS BEHIND ME. I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH LACK OF CARE FROM THE DEALERSHIP, BUT OTHER THAN THAT, THIS SHOULD BE RECALLED FROM DODGE AS IT COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
