Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I PURCHASED A VEHICLE FROM STG AUTO GROUP IN GARDEN GROVE AND NOTICED A WEEK LATER WHILE MY CAR WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY, THAT THERE WAS A LARGE SLASH ON THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE ON THE WHEEL WALL WITH AN ORANGE PAINTED CIRCLE AROUND IT. I WAS TOLD BY A PROFESSIONAL THAT THE DEALERSHIP NOTICED IT, AND CIRCLED THE SLASH BECAUSE WAS MEANT FOR IT TO TO BE CHANGED TO PASS THE SAFETY INSPECTION TO BE SOLD. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT DID NOT REPLACE THE TIRE BEFORE SELLING AND NOW IS A SAFETY HAZARD. THE DEALER IS REFUSING TO REPLACE THE TIRE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 DODGE DURANGO, EQUIPPED WITH BRIDGE STONE TIRES, TIRE LINE: ECOPIA, TIRE SIZE:265-50R-20 N/A, AND DOT 7XUMEC13017. THE TIRES WERE THE ORIGINAL TIRES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 55 MPH, THE TIRE BELTS ON THE REAR DRIVER'S AND THE REAR PASSENGER'S SIDE TIRES FRACTURED AND AND CAUSED THE TIRES TO VIBRATE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CALLED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT TIRE SHOP AND REPLACED THE TWO TIRES. THE VEHICLE AND THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 25,000.
