GOT DIONO RADIAN RXT BACK IN SPRING OF 2018. THE STRAPS COME LOOSE EASILY FROM 3 YEAR OLD PUSHING ON THEM. HAVE TRIED CONTACTING COMPANY FOR A WEEK ON EMAIL, FACEBOOK AND PHONE. I DON'T HEAR BACK ANYTHING FROM THEM TO REMEDY THIS,.
MY VEHICLE HAS STOPPED RUNNING WHILE DRIVING 3 DAYS IN A ROW WHICH HAS CAUSED CLOSE COLLISIONS. I HAVE LOST MY TRUST IN MY "FAMILY SAFE VAN". I LOOSE CONTROL OF MY POWER STEERING AND HAVE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND PUT MY VEHICLE IN PARK/NEUTRAL AND THEN RESTART IT. I'VE READ NUMEROUS ONLINE POSTS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND I BELIEVE SOME OF THESE MODELS HAVE ALREADY BEEN RECALLED BECAUSE OF THE IGNITION SWITCH FAILING. I'M UNHAPPY THAT THE MANUFACTURER HASN'T DONE WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO AND CONTACTED THE CONSUMER AND REPORTED THIS ISSUE TO THEM PROPERLY. THIS WILL CAUSE ACCIDENTS AND ISN'T SAFE. I'VE READ MULTIPLE POSTS ONLINE WHERE THE DEALERSHIP/DODGE HAS INFORMED MULTIPLE PEOPLE THAT NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THEIR VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY CAN'T REPLICATE IT. WHAT EVER HAPPENED THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT? PLEASE HELP ME MAKE SURE DODGE TAKES CARE OF THIS SAFETY RECALL BEFORE IT CAUSES INJURY/DEATH TO MULTIPLE FAMILY'S THAT THIS ISSUE COULD HAPPEN TO THEM WHEN THEY LEAST EXPECT IT BECAUSE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FAMILY SAFE VEHICLE. WHILE DRIVING, CARS ENGINE TURNS TO ACCESSORY, NO POWER STEERING. HAVE TO STOP CAR AND RESTART. THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH THE WIN MODULE AND KEY FOB IGNITION AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN PART OF A RECALL BUT, IT SLIPPED THROUGH THE CRACKS AND THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT REALIZE THE FACT THAT MY CAR WAS BUILT ON MAY 26TH 2010 AND SHOULD HAVE A RECALL APPLIED TO VEHICLES BUILT THROUGH JUNE 18, 2010. WHICH MINE WAS BUT, MY VIN NUMBER REPORTS NO ISSUE. I'VE CONTACTED DODGE AND THEY HAVE NOT AUTHORIZED THE DEALERSHIP TO COVER ANY COSTS. THIS HAS ALMOST CAUSED ACCIDENTS 3 TIMES NOW. IT SICKENS ME HOW BIG DEALERSHIPS CAN GET AWAY WITH NEGLIGENCE AND ALLOW POSSIBLE DEATHS BECAUSE OF MISTAKES AND NOT FOLLOWING PROPER RECALL PROCEDURES. SHOP WON'T GET ME IN UNTIL WEEKS LATER AND WILL NOT DO ANYTHING UNTIL THEY CHARGE ME DIAGNOSTIC FEES EVEN THOUGH THIS IS/WAS A KNOWN ISSUE. I'VE WASTED HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH DODGE AND THE DEALERSHIP AND I'M SURE THE DEALERSHIP IS ABOUT TO RIP ME OFF WITH DIAGNOSTIC FEES TRYING TO REPLICATE THIS KNOWN ISSUE. THE SPEEDOMETER FLATLINES AND THE LIGHTS FLICKER INDICATING 'BRAKES, TRACTION CONTROL, ABS, BATTERY, TEMP, AND DIRECTION'. A WARNING DINGS AND IT GOES ON AND OFF A FEW TIMES WITH ALL THE FLICKERING. PULL ONTO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND UPON APPLYING BRAKES TO A FULL STOP THE CAR FEELS LIKE IT STALLS AND THEN COMES BACK IN WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. NOW THE CLOCK HAS RESET TO 12:00. TURN OFF CAR AND RESTART ALL CLEAR FOR NOW. ALL IS WELL UNTIL IT RANDOMLY HAPPENS AGAIN. SCARY WITH KIDS IN THE CAR OR IN THE WINTER. NOT COOL DODGE....NOT COOL AT ALL!
HEADLIGHTS GO OUT UNEXPECTEDLY, IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING AND WHILE STANDING STILL. FOG LIGHTS AND RUNNING LIGHTS WORK BUT HEADLIGHTS DO NOT. IF THEY ARE WORKING AND YOU TURN ON THE BRIGHTS THEY GO OUT AND THEY GO ON AND OFF BY THEMSELVES.
THIS IS A 4.0 ENGINE, AND WILL DIE OUT EVERY TIME IN TRAFFIC, EVERY TIME (REGARDLESS OF OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE OR DAMPNESS). IT WILL RESTART, BUT CAN FEEL IT STILL WANTS TO CUT OUT, AS THE TACHOMETER BOUNCES AROUND TO 500 RPM, AND SOMETIMES ALMOST ZERO, THEN 'CATCHES ITSELF' TO A NORMAL IDLE. THIS IS ESPECIALLY CONCERNING BECAUSE I LIVE NEAR A CURVED ROAD THAT DROPS OFF INTO A RAVINE, AND FOR THIS REASON, MY WIFE WON'T DRIVE IT ANYMORE. THIS PROBLEM HAS HAPPENED AT SPEEDS 10-40 MPH. IT DIES OUT (AGAIN REGARDLESS IF COLD OR WET OUTSIDE). I CAN RESTART THE VEHICLE, AND WON'T DIE AGAIN, UNTIL THE ENGINE GETS COLD AGAIN (USUALLY 3 HRS.). IT IS UNBELIEVABLE THAT ONCE IT RESTARTS, IT NEVER HAPPENS MULTIPLE TIMES IN SAME OCCURRENCE. SOMETHING IS TELLING IT TO SHUTDOWN, WHICH IS DANGEROUS. NO POWER STEERING AND BRAKES HAVE TO BE PUSHED HARD (NO POWER, AND IS WHY MY WIFE WON'T DRIVE IT). I HAD THIS DIAGNOSED AT M&W SERVICE CENTER (A HIGHLY RATED PLACE). BROOKFIELD DODGE WAS OVERBOOKED, AND I FELT I NEEDED TO GET IT ADDRESSED ASAP. I PAID THE DIAGNOSTICS FEE. THEY RECALIBRATED THE THROTTLE AND CLEANED THE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM. THEY SAID THIS A GREAT RUNNING VEHICLE.THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO DO. I ALREADY HAVE $370 INVESTED IN THIS PROBLEM, IT DIDN'T FIX IT. PRIOR TO THE ISSUE, THE TIMING BELT AND SPARKPLUGS WERE REPLACED. IT RAN GREAT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER THOSE COMPONENTS WERE DONE. I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR THE LAST 4 WEEKS. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE THIS TO BROOKFIELD DODGE, AND PAY THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE AGAIN, AND HOPE THEY FIND THE PROBLEM. IT IS AMAZING TO SEE THAT THERE ARE ACTUALLY DOZENS OF COMPLAINTS ON-LINE JUST LIKE MINE, AND THEY ARE SAYING THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN FOUND. THIS IS NOT GOOD NEWS FOR A VEHICLE THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE SAFE FOR THE FAMILY. IT SEEMS TO BE ENGINEERED TO SHUTDOWN, INSTEAD OF JUST NOT START, WHICH IS DANGEROUS, SINCE 10/25/2018.
MY CAR ENGINE WOULD TURN BUT NOT START INTERMITTENTLY OR STALL. CHECKING THE INTERNET, I DISCOVERED IT IS A CHRONIC PROBLEM WITH THESE VEHICLES, WHERE THE FUEL PUMP RELAY GOES BAD. I MADE A TEST CABLE W/LED TO MONITOR MY FUEL PUMP RELAY AND IT CONFIRMED THAT THIS IS THE ISSUE. I SEE THAT LATER MODELS HAVE KITS AVAILABLE TO ADDRESS THE IDENTICAL ISSUE, BUT FOR SOME REASON DO NOT APPLY TO MY MODEL/YEAR,

THE CONTACT STATED THAT SEVERAL WARNING LIGHTS BECAME ILLUMINATED, THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WAS INOPERABLE AND THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ACTIVATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE IGNITION WAS CYCLED ON AND OFF SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THE VEHICLE OPERATED AS INTENDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS MORE PREVALENT DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO (FIVE STAR CHEVROLET BUICK LOCATED AT 300 S BOONE ST, ABERDEEN, WA 98520, PHONE NUMBER 360-532-0650) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,000.

MY VAN WILL CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND I LOOSE CONTROL OF STEERING AND BRAKES.
THANKS TO BAD ENGINEERING...I HAD A TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR BREAK APART FROM MY WHEEL AND CAUSED A BRAND NEW TIRE TO BLOW ON THE HIGHWAY. THE THREADS ON THE PRESSURE SENSOR ARE MADE OF ALUMINUM AND THE WHEEL IS A STEEL ONE. SO, IN ESSENCE, A PART MADE FOR MY SAFETY CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. YIKES!!! THIS IS NOT RIGHT.
I HAD A TIRE BLOW ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE TPMS CAME LOOSE BECAUSE OF CORROSION.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF AND THE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. AFTER RESTARTING THE ENGINE, THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT ON A BACK ROAD THE HEADLIGHTS SUDDENLY SHUT OFF EVER THING ELSE WAS FINE LUCKLY I HAD MY FOG LIGHTS ON BECAUSE IT WAS A DARK ROAD . I COULD NOT GET THE HIGH OR LOW BEAMS TO WORK SO DROVE HOME WITH JUST THE FOG LIGHTS .
I HAVE HAD THE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR REPLACED. A FEW DAYS AFTER THE ALTERNATOR WAS INSTALLED, THE CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN. NOR THE NEXT DAY. THE MECHANIC KEPT THE CAR FOR TWO DAYS AND COULD NOT REPLICATE IT NOT STARTING. A FEW DAYS LATER IT WOULD NOT START AGAIN, AND IT CONTINUES TO NOT START INTERMITTENTLY. ALL DIAGNOSTICS COME BACK FINE. THE LEFT SLIDING DOOR WORKS INTERMITTENLTY AND THE WINDOW ON THE SAME DOOR WOULDN'T CLOSE, BUT NOW DOES. THE ABS/STABILITY LIGHT WAS ON SOLID, BUT IS NOW OFF.

ALSO, THE SHIFTER DID NOT CLICK AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO ROLL FORWARD. THERE WAS NO WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE MORLAN CHRYSLER DEALER (573- 388-3331, 374 SIEMERS DR, CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO 63701) WHERE THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,999.

Driver side rear door electric lock/unlocking mechanism stopped working approx. 3 years ago. Passenger side rear sliding door is jammed and won’t open.
REAR CALIPERS CONTINUE TO SEIZE EVEN AFTER REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT. THIS CAUSES THE REAR BRAKES TO GRIND DOWN THE PADS AND ROTORS. A QUICK ONLINE SEARCH REVEALED OVER 200 CONSUMERS WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT. SOME OF THE EXAMPLES WERE BEFORE THE VEHICLE EVEN HAD 50K ORIGINAL MILES. THIS DOES NOT SEEM TO BE A RANDOM ISSUE BUT RATHER A DESIGN FLAW THAT THE CONSUMER SHOULD NOT BE LIABLE FOR .
INSERTED & TURNED IGNITION KEY. GOT "CLICK" SOUND BUT CAR DID NOT START.
I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER 3 TIMES ALREADY. I WENT THIS MONTH TO GET A SAFETY INSPECTION AND WAS TOLD IT IS THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER AGAIN. DO YOU HAVE A RECALL ON CATALYTIC CONVERTER FOR THIS VEHICLE?
OFTEN AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE AND IN DRIVE IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY SHUT OFF. I HAVE TO PUT IN NEUTRAL AND TURN IGNITION OVER AGAIN TO MAKE IT DRIVE AGAIN. THIS HAPPENS AT STOP LIGHTS, CITY STREETS AND EXPRESSWAYS. THE RADIO AND AIR WILL STILL WORK BUT I'M JUST COASTING WITH NO POWER STEERING.

2010 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN SXT 4.0L HAS STALLED 4 TIMES WHILE DRIVING SPEEDS OF 15MPH, 30MPH AND TWICE AT 45MPH. WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLS YOU LOSE POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES. THE RADIO STILL WORKS AND THE ONLY THING THAT APPEARS ON INSTRUMENT PANEL IS THE STABILITY CONTROL LIGHT. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED I PULLED OVER AND RESTARTED THE CAR, NOW I SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL AND RESTART. I HAVE HAD 2 RECALLS COMPLETED ON IGNITION SWITCH AND I ONLY USE THE ONE KEY SO IT IS NOT THE WEIGHT OF KEY CHAIN. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FAMILY CAR AND NOW MY WIFE WILL NOT DRIVE FOR FEAR OF THIS HAPPENING WITH KIDS IN VEHICLE AND CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. COME ON CHRYSLER/DODGE YOUR BETTER THAN THIS... WELL AT LEAST I THOUGHT YOU WERE! I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT BUT I KNOW I WILL GET A RUN AROUND AND NO ONE WILL HAVE EVERY HEARD ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, BUT ITS ALL OVER EVERY FORUM DISCUSSION.
WHILE DRIVING ON A DRY ROAD, THE LIGHT ON THE DASH BOARD WENT ON TO INDICATE THE CAR WAS SLIDING... THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP, I HAD NO BRAKES, I HAD TO GLIDE TO A STOP. THIS HAPPENED 4 TIMES IN ONE DAY. I WAS ABLE TO GLIDE TO A STOP, SHUT THE VAN OFF, RESTART IT ONLY FOR IT TO HAPPEN AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC WHO STATED IT WAS A COMPUTER CHIP ISSUE AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO GO TO A DEALER TO GET IT FIXED FOR APPROX $1,800.00. I COULD'VE SERIOUSLY INJURED AND/OR KILLED MYSELF AND THOSE AROUND ME.
WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO THE VAN BEGAN TO STALL IMMEDIATELY AFTER IT STARTED. TODAY WHILE DRIVING THE VAN SHUT OFF ON ME AT A STOP. TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO GET IT RESTARTED BUT AFTER A FEW MINUTES IT FINALLY STARTED. NO ONE WAS INJURED OR DAMAGE. I BEGAN LOOKING THROUGH RECALLS FIR THE WIN MODULE AND FOUND THERE WAS ALREADY A RECALL FOR 2009 AND 2010 DODGE GRAND CARAVANS.
WHEN DRIVING ALONG THE VEHICLE JUST SHUTS OFF
FEW JUST A FEW OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE THE ENGINE STARTED TO KILL FOR NO APPARENT REASON. IT WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER MANY TIMES, THEY SAY THEY COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM. FINALLY THERE WERE A FEW RECALLS. PROBLEM OF ENGINE KILLING WAS SOLVED, BUT THEN ALL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WOULD KILL, TOOK TO DEALER SEVERAL TIMES, AGAIN THEY NO INDICATION OF AN EVENT. NOT TILL AFTER IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AND THE EXIST PROBLEMS CONTINUED DIDTHEY SAY THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM, THEY SAID IT WAS THE TIMP. REPLACED FOR $1200.00, W 24 MONTH WARRANTY ON NEW TIMP. NO THAT NEW TIMP IS ACTING UP. KILLS ALL ELECTRICAL AND ENGINE, WHEN TAKEN TO DEALER, NATURALLY NO RECORD OF EVENTS IN STORAGE UNIT. THIS HAPPENING RANDOM FOR NO APPARENT REASON.SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEM.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2010 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN VAN IN THE CITY LIMITS, WHEN I HIT THE BRAKE TO SLOW DOWN OR TO ANTICIPATE TO STOP, THE ENGINE SHUTS OFF WHILE THE CAR IS STILL IN MOTION. THE RADIO, LIGHTS AND AIR CONDITIONER DO NOT SHUT DOWN *(THEY STAY ON). WHEN THIS HAPPENS, I TAKE OUT THE KEY, REINSTALL IT BACK TO THE IGNITION SWITCH AND CRANK IT TO TURN THE ENGINE ON AND IT DOES TURN ON. THIS IS HAPPENING EVERYDAY, AT LEAST TWICE PER DAY.
'TAKATA RECALL' WHEN DRIVING AT SPEEDS OF 55-60 . THEN APPLYING THE BRAKE QUICKLY TO STOP THE TRANSMISSION JUMPS FORWARD AT TIMES. ALSO ON OCCASIONS THE WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE FOR A HOUR OR SO , IF YOU APPLY THE BRAKE WHEN AT A LIGHT OR STOP SIGN THE VEHICLES R.P.M WILL IDLE AT 2-2.5 AS OPPOSED TO 1-1.5 . FEELING AS THOUGH IT'S LUNGIN YOU FORWARD.. I HAVE A WARRANTY ON THIS VEHICLE WHICH IS UP ON 2-26-18 . THIS VEHICLE ONLY HAS 83,000 MILES ON IT . HOPEFULLY THIS TIME THEY FIX THE ISSUE. I HAVE OWNED TWO OTHER DODGE VANS AND THEY ALL HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE. BUT DUE TO THE FACT , THERE ARE NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ON THEY NEVER CATCH THE ISSUE. SO IT'S NOT UNTIL MY WARRANTY RUNS OUT AND I HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET THAT THEY FIND THE ISSUE. THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY WIRELESS IGNITION NODE (WIN) THAT CAUSES MY VAN'S ENGINE TO SHUT OFF RANDOMLY WHILE IT IS BEING DRIVEN. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 25 TIMES OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS, DURING TIMES OF HIGH SPEED, LOW SPEED, AND STOPPED AT INTERSECTIONS. THERE IS ZERO WARNING AND THE ISSUE DOES NOT TRIGGER ANY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THERE IS A RECALL RELATED TO THIS EXACT ISSUE (R03/NHTSA 14V-373) THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN ISSUED FOR "MOST" 2010 DODGE GRAND CARAVANS, BUT I AM TOLD MY VIN DOES NOT QUALIFY! THIS RECALL MUST BE UPDATED TO INCLUDE ALL 2010 DODGE GRAND CARAVANS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THE REPAIR NEEDED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM IS OVER $1000 AND THIS ISSUE POSES A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY HAZARD!

THE DEALER KEPT THE VEHICLE FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 DAYS, BUT WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 118,700.

TAKATA RECALL. I WAS TAKING MY CHILDREN TO SCHOOL AND THE STEERING AND BREAKING SYSTEM COMPLETELY LOCKED UP ON ME ALMOST CAUSING US TO CRASH INTO A TREE. I WAS ABLE TO PUSH IN THE EMERGENCY BREAK AND GET THE CAR OUT OF DRIVE. I HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE STEERING NOR THE REGULAR BREAK. THE CAR WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED.

THE DRIVER SIDE SLIDING DOOR WILL NOT OPEN. IT DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE FOB NOR TRYING TO MANUALLY OPEN IT. THE LOCK IS COMPLETELY STUCK AND NEITHER HANDLE OPENS THE DOOR.
