Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)Traveling on I5 SB, near Longview, WA. Vehicle steering whell was jerked from my hands. I blacked out briefly from side window impact. Vehicle rolled over into trees and bushes next to the freeway. When I was able to finally see the vehicle at the tow yard. The Right front wheel assy, had seperated from the vehicle and was placed in the rear area of the vehicle. It had been sheared off in the accident. That is why I suspect a DEFECT. This vehicle line has been cited in several mishaps associated with steering issues, and a recall has been issued.
THE STEERING MOVED SUDDENLY BY ITSELF; several times on highways. Never had a vehicle do that before.
