My leased 2020 Ford EcoSport is at Merchant Ford of Selma, AL for three safety recalls: airbag system, engine oil pump failure, and rearview camera failure. The dealership told me they do not know how to fix the recalls, installed wrong parts, and the vehicle has been sitting for weeks without repair and without a loaner vehicle. They have stopped returning my calls. Ford has had years to remedy these recalls and cannot make the vehicle safe to drive.

Faulty backup camera. Had a Ford dealership look into my camera glitching or just not connecting and they told me it was faulty.
The GPS, Radio, backup camera malfunctions. When the backup camera turns on while I’m driving it’s very distracting. I have videos of the malfunction while it is happening. A few different things happen. I’ve heard of this happening in other eco sports. I do not have the money to have the dealership repair something that isn’t a recall unfortunately. I don’t think there were prior warnings. Recently while driving it popped up on the screen phone volume but there are no phones connected. Sometimes the screen works fine other times it’s black. There are times when it’s blue. Times the backup camera turns on when my foot is on the brakes. The radio stations won’t change when it acts up. No GPS. The phones don’t sync to it anymore. It isn’t synced with the app anymore so I can’t remote control start it and can’t find it on my app if someone else is using it. Since the time changed it is an hr behind. If I change it to the right time it goes back everytime the car is shut off.
MY 2020 FORD ECOSPORT shows the engine symbol and the maintenance symbol and every so often my car wouldnt have power or it would just shut off while im in park while inside the vehicle. at first i thought it was a battery issue so i fully recharged my battery and than less than a month later im experiencing the same issue. i looked online and there is countless claims all stating similar issues like mine. my car has around 35k miles on it. i would greatly appreciated some more knowledge on the situation

A couple year ago I got a random pop up saying low oil pressure I pulled over immediately and started hearing a noise. I called around and got told I should tow the car to a mechanic. Then, I was told I had to get a new engine, and that was not cheap. I have also had the problem where every time I get into the car the screen turns off and says “turning off to save battery” sometimes the screen turns back on and sometimes it stays off not allowing me to see navigation. Plus when this happens it sometimes turns my whole dash and air conditioning off, and I am unable to use the reverse camera. Now there was a recent recall on my vehicle for the low oil pressure warning. But I have also had multiple problems with the auto start stop function where I have to manually turn it off every time I get into the car, the reasoning is because multiple times on the road the car would not start and I would have to put the car in park and restart the car but on hills it really has a problem starting.
