THE "DOOR AJAR" WARNING LIGHT WILL NOT TURN OFF WHEN THE DRIVER AND REAR LEFT PASSENGER DOORS ARE CLOSED. THE DOORS ARE CLOSED FIRMLY, BUT THE WARNING LIGHT STILL SHOWS THE DOORS TO BE OPEN. THE DOORS ARE CLOSED AND LOCKED, BUT THE CAR REGISTERS THEM AS OPEN, AND THUS KEEPS THE INTERIOR DOME LIGHT ON ALONG WITH THE EXTERIOR LIGHTS OF THE CAR. WITHOUT NO WAY TO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS THEY END UP DRAINING THE BATTERY.
SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO THE PASSENGER DOOR/DOOR LATCH. WHEN FULLY CLOSED, A MESSAGE APPEARS ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER STATING "PASSENGER DOOR AJAR". NOW, WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, THE DOORS CANNOT BE LOCKED. IF YOU TRY TO LOCK THEM, THEY UNLOCK AUTOMATICALLY. DEALER WON'T FIX AS IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY.
THE "DOOR AJAR" LIGHT LOCATED ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER STAYS ON ALL OF THE TIME EVEN WHEN ALL DOORS ARE CLOSED AND FULLY LATCHED. WHEN THE LIGHT IS ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY, THE VEHICLE DOORS WILL NOT LOCK WHICH IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. WHEN THE VEHICLE IS ON AND THE DOOR LOCK BUTTON IS PRESSED, THE DOORS LOCK AND THEN UNLOCK WITHIN A SECOND APART. ONCE THE VEHICLE IS EXITED AND LOCKED WITH THE REMOTE, THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED.
I HAD TO HAVE MY DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR LATCH REPLACED BECAUSE NO MATTER HOW HARD OR SOFT I SHUT THE DOOR IT WOULD INDICATE THE DOOR WAS OPEN AND WOULD DING WHILE DRIVING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 5 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND FAILED TO RESPOND. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE BOOSTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
DOOR AJAR - DOOR SENSOR SAYS DRIVER'S DOOR IS AJAR WHEN IT IS CLOSED. HAPPENS WHEN VEHICLE IS STATIONARY AND IN MOTION.
VEHICLE HAS ROLLED OFF IN PARK AND DID DAMAGE TO VEHICLE THE FIRST TIME. THIS WAS WHEN IT CROSSED THE HIGHWAY AND LANDED IN CREEK.WHEN I HAD IT REPAIRED I WAS TOLD IT PROBABLY HAPPENED WITH PREVIOUS OWNER BECAUSE IT HAD AN AFTERMARKET FRONT BUMPER ON IT. I WAS SITTING IN VEHICLE A FEW WEEKS LATER AND IT ROLLED IN THE PARKING LOT AND I HAD TO SHOVE EMERGENCY BRAKE DOWN. FOUND A RECALL THAT LOOKS LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO MY VEHICLE BUT THE CLAIM IS THAT MY VIN WAS NOT AFFECTED, BUT MATCHES THE DESCRIPTION.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD EDGE. WHEN THE CONTACT STARTED THE VEHICLE, THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR INTERMITTENTLY. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE STOPPED PULLING. THE MOTOR WAS STILL RUNNING AND STARTED VIBRATING. TURNED OFF THE CAR AND THEN RESTARTED IT. IT FELT LIKE THE CAR WAS IN NEUTRAL. I HAVE SEEN THE RECALL ON THE HALFSHAFT DISENGAGEMENT AND AM NOT SURE IF MY CAR HAS HAD THIS RECALL FIXED. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE IN THE LAST 10 DAYS.
2012 FORD EDGE SE. I NOTICE THAT SOMETIMES IT WOULD SHOW DOOR AJARED WARNING LIGHT. I WOULD HAVE OPEN AND CLOSE MY DOOR SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THE LIGHT GO OFF. THEN IT PROGRESS TO THE POINT NOW IT'S PERMERNANT. NOW DOORS WON'T LOCK WHILE DRIVING, INTERIOR LIGHTS MOMENTARILY STAY ON AND THE ALARM BEEPS TWICE ( WARNING THAT THE DOOR AJAR IS KEEPING IT FROM SETTING PROPERLY.
DRIVER'S DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT STAYS ON, DOORS WILL NOT LOCK, INTERIOR LIGHT STAYS ON
WHEN STARTING AND SHUTTING OFF THE CAR, THE "DRIVER DOOR AJAR" WARNING COMES ON AND INTERIOR LIGHTS WILL NOT SHUT OFF. YOU HAVE TO CONTINUALLY SLAM THE DOOR TO GET BOTH TO GO OUT. SOMETIMES THE WARNING LIGHT AND INTERIOR LIGHTS COME ON WHILE DRIVING. THIS MAKES IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO SEE THE ROAD WHEN IT'S DARK OUTSIDE. I ALMOST WENT INTO A DITCH LAST WEEK BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. I STARTED COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS ISSUE WHILE STILL UNDER WARRANTY BUT THE FORD DEALER DID NOT FIX IT. NOW THEY WANT $500 TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. FORD SHOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS KNOWN SAFETY ISSUE - NOT THE CONSUMER.
THE DRIVER DOOR SENSOR STATES THE DOOR IS AJAR, ALTHOUGH IT IS CLOSED, REGISTERS OPEN. THE LATCH IS DEFECTIVE.THE DOOR AJAR WARNING SOUNDS ON THE DASH BOARD, DOME LIGHTS STAY ON AND DOORS DO NOT LOCK. DOOR HAS TO BE OPENED AND SLAMMED CLOSED MANY TIMES FOR THE WARNING TO GO OFF, BUT ONLY TEMPORARILY. HARD TO LOCK CAR, DOME LIGHT STAYS ON. HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING, IN PARK, BASICALLY ANYTIME THE CAR IS ON. HAD THE ISSUE FIXED AT A DEALERSHIP - HAD TO PAY $494.00!! I SEE THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH MANY FORD EDGE OWNERS - FORD NEEDS TO GET THIS FIXED AND RECALL - UNSAFE!!!
DOOR AJAR AND LATCH ISSUE. DOOR AJAR SIGNAL STAYS ON WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED. INTERIOR LIGHT STAYS ON. THEREFORE, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCK THE DOORS WHILE IN VEHICLE. I GUESS THE LATCH ON DRIVER SIDE HAS SOME PROBLEM. ALSO, THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE ALSO NOTICED SIMILAR PROBLEM. IF YOU USE GOOGLE TO SEARCH "FORD EDGE DRIVER DOOR AJAR" A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME. EVEN SOME PEOPLE UPLOAD VIDEOS TO YOUTUBE TO GUIDE PEOPLE HOW FIX IT BY THEIR OWN. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND FORD TO RECALL OUR CARS AND FIGURE OUT THIS PROBLEM FOR US!!!!
BRAKES FUNCTIONED PERFECTLY PRIOR TO DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL IN TRAFFIC (ON A MAJOR CITY STREET WITH THE VEHICLE MOVING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH) AND THE VEHICLE DID NOT STOP. THE PEDAL WAS DIFFICULT TO DEPRESS, BUT WITH EXTREME PRESSURE, COULD BE PUSHED ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR, RESULTING IN A WHISTLE OR BEEP SOUND. THE VEHICLE BECAME (AND REMAINS ALMOST 24 HOURS LATER) UNSAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE IT CANNOT BE STOPPED WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE. INTERNET RESEARCH INDICATES THIS TO BE A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE 2012 FORD EDGE BRAKE SYSTEM, AND REFERENCES PROBLEMS WITH BRAKE BOOSTER. THERE SHOULD BE A SAFETY-RELATED RECALL MANDATED FOR THIS VEHICLE, GIVEN THE PROPENSITY FOR SUDDENLY FAILED BRAKES TO CAUSE SERIOUS ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES.
DRIVER DOOR AJAR LIGHT COMES ON, BUT THE DOOR IS NOT AJAR. VERY ANNOYING AND I THINK DANGEROUS. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING ONLINE, IT SHOULD BE RECALLED.
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR DOOR AJAR LIGHT IS ON INTERIOR LIGHTS COME ON AND SOUND DINGS . AND EVERY TIME YOU STOP IT TELLS YOU TO SHIFT INTO PARK. AND DOORS WILL NOT LOCK VERY UNSAFE CONDITION.
DRIVERS DASH WARNING LIGHT STAYS ON REFLECTING DOOR IS UNLOCKED. STARTED OUT AS A OCCASIONAL , THEN MORE COMMON NOW IT STAYS ON 90% OF THE TIME.
MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR AJAR LIGHT WOULD STAY ON AFTER CLOSING MY DOOR, WHETHER PARKED OR IN MOTION. I WOULD HAVE TO CLOSE IT 5-10, SOMETIMES MORE TIMES, TO GET THE LIGHT TO GO OFF. EVEN IF I SLAMMED THE DOOR SOMETIMES THE LIGHT STILL WOULDN'T GO OFF, AND THE WARNING SIGNAL WOULD CHIME AS I DROVE. I BOUGHT THE CAR USED FROM A HONDA DEALER, AND THE SALESMAN TOLD ME IT WAS LIKELY JUST A SENSOR ISSUE, SO I IGNORED IT FOR A MONTH OR SO BEFORE TAKING IT IN TO A FORD DEALERSHIP WHEN I THOUGHT I COULD AFFORD TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. THEY DID DIAGNOSTICS ON IT AND TOLD ME IT WASN'T JUST THE SENSOR, THAT THE DOOR WAS ACTUALLY OPEN BECAUSE THE LATCH WASN'T CLOSING PROPERLY. THEY TOLD ME IF I GOT IN A WRECK MY DOOR COULD FLY OPEN, SO I LET THEM REPAIR IT. THEY REPLACED THE ENTIRE LOCK ASSEMBLY ON THE DRIVER SIDE. I HAVE ATTACHED MY INVOICE FOR RECORD OF THE REPAIRS MADE AND THE COST.
REAR DRIVER SIDE DOOR AJAR LIGHT WILL NOT TURN OFF, HAVE DRAINED 2 CAR BATTERIES, THE ALARM GOES OFF AT RANDOM AND THE INTERIOR DOME LIGHT STAYS ON. HAD TO PULL CABIN LIGHTING FUSE TO STOP BATTERY FROM DRAINING. THE INDICATION IS CONSTANTLY ON THERE IS NO WAY TO TELL IN DOOR IS ACTUALLY AJAR OR NOT.
DRIVER`S DOOR SENSOR TELLS DOOR AJAR-WHEN IT IS NOT
THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY HAS WENT BAD AND IT IS A PROBLEM THAT FORD REFUSES TO ADDRESS. IT KEEP THE LIGHT ON IN THE CABIN OF THE CAR AND THE DOOR DOESN'T LOCK APPROPRIATELY FOR SAFETY.
DRIVERS SIDE DOOR SAYS AJAR ALL THE TIME. I HAVE ALREADY GOTTEN IT FIXED ONCE AND WILL HAVE TO AGAIN.
DRIVER'S DOOR SENSOR IS FAULTY. THE VEHICLE'S INSTRUMENT PANEL WILL INDICATE THAT THE DOOR IS AJAR WHEN IT IS FIRMLY CLOSED. THIS ALERT OFTEN APPEARS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. WHEN I EXIT THE VEHICLE AND THE PROBLEM OCCURS, THIS WILL PREVENT THE INTERIOR LIGHTS FROM GOING OUT AND IT WILL PREVENT THE SECURITY SYSTEM FROM ARMING. THIS PROBLEM IS DISTRACTING WHILE DRIVING DUE TO THE ALERTS AND THE INTERIOR LIGHTING, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. THE ISSUE HAS ALSO RESULTED IN THEFT FROM MY VEHICLE. WHEN THE VEHICLE IS OFF, THE DOME LIGHTS DO NOT GO OFF AS THE SENSOR INDICATES THE DOOR IS OPEN. WHILE PARKED OUTSIDE MY HOUSE, MY VEHICLE WAS BROKEN INTO WITHOUT THE ALARM SOUNDING, RESULTING IN THEFT OF PERSONAL ITEMS INCLUDING CHECKS, CASH, AND ELECTRONICS. THE VEHICLE'S BATTERY HAS ALSO DRAINED OVERNIGHT TO THE POINT OF NEEDING A JUMP START.
THE DOOR SENSOR SAYS THE DRIVER'S DOOR IS OPEN WHEN IT IS NOT AND STAYS ON. THIS DOES NOT ALLOW THE DOOR LOCKS TO CLOSE AND IS UNSAFE. THE INTERIOR LIGHTS ALSO GO ON AND STAY ON FOR A PERIOD OF TIME.
MY VEHICLE IS A 2012 FORD EDGE AND HAS APPROX 43,000 MILES ON IT . THE DOOR AJAR WARNING ILLUMINATES ON THE DASH EVEN THOUGH I HAVE CLEARLY SLAMMED THE DOOR SHUT. IT LEAVES THE DOME LIGHTS ON THE CAR WHICH IS DANGEROUS AT NIGHT WHILE BACKING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY AS IT OBSCURES YOU VISION, AND WHILE DRIVING IT ILLUMINATES A YELLOW WARNING TO SHIFT THE CAR INTO PARK AND HAS A CONSISTENT ''DINGING'' NOISE THAT IS VERY DISTRACTING IF YOU ARE DRIVING LESS THAN 30MPH. THESE WARNINGS HAPPEN BOTH WHILE IN PARK AND WHEN IN MOTION DRIVING LESS THAN 30 MPH.
PASSENGER DOOR AJAR SENSOR IS MALFUNCTIONING. SYSTEM DOES NOT RECOGNIZE HAT THE DOOR IS CLOSED AND WILL NOT ALLOW DOORS TO LOCK POSING SAFETY ISSUE. ALSO THE DOME LIGHT WILL NOT TURN OFF DUE TO THE SENSOR NOT RECOGNIZING THAT THE DOOR IS CLOSED. EVEN AFTER REPEATEDLY SHUTTING DOOR (OVER 10 TIMES) THE SENSOR WILL POP ON DURING DRIVING OF THE VEHICLE. DONE LIGHTS REMAIN ON AFTER CAR IS TURNED OFF WHICH DRAINS THE BATTERY.
DOOR JAR LIGHT ON DASH WILL NOT GO OUT LEFT REAR.
"DOOR OPEN" INDICATOR LIGHT COMES ON AND WILL NOT TURN OFF WHEN THE CAR IS TURNED ON. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, YOU CANNOT LOCK THE DOORS, WHICH IS A SAFETY ISSUE. THE INTERIOR LIGHTS ALSO STAY ON... WHICH MAKES IT MORE DIFFICULT TO DRIVE AT NIGHT (ALSO A SAFETY ISSUE). THIS IS THE SECOND TIME OUR CAR HAS HAD THIS ISSUE. WE HAD THE DOOR LATCH REPLACED THE FIRST TIME IN 2014. IT RECENTLY STARTED OCCURRING AGAIN ON TWO DOORS IN OUR CAR. IT COSTS $500 PER DOOR TO FIX EACH OCCURRENCE. FORD SHOULD OWN UP TO THIS ISSUE THAT IS BEING REPORTED BY MULTIPLE PEOPLE AND FIX IT BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT, ROBBED, OR KILLED BECAUSE THEY CAN'T LOCK THEIR DOORS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000. UPDATED 05/11/16*LJ
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE. THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR FAILED TO OPEN. IN ORDER FOR THE LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE, THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE DOOR SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,400.
THREE TIMES IN TWO WEEK EXPERIENCED SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER ALL IN MOTION. THIRD TIME I WAS ON THE FREEWAY RAMP. COASTED/LIMPED TO HARD SHOULDER. AS TWICE BEFORE THE WRENCH ICON APPEARED ON PANEL ALONG WITH '"AWD OFF". TURNED OFF ENGINE, WAITED A MINUTE, AND RESTARTED ENGINE. EVERYTHING NOW FINE AND GOT HOME. TOOK TO FORD DEALER. (FORD OF ESCONDIDO) THEY CANNOT REPLICATE THE PROBLEM. TOLD EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT OK. COULD FIND NO ERROR REPORTS UNDER DIAGNOSTICS. TOLD TO PICK UP CAR. LEFT CAR AT DEALER! THIS SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. IF I HAD EXPERIENCED THIS ON THE FREEWAY INSTEAD OF THE RAMP, I COULD HAVE REAR ENDED AT 65MPH!
THE LATCH DOOR AJAR DOME LIGHTS STAY ON WHEN THE FOO IS CLOSED
PASSENGER DOOR AJAR WARNING KEEPS SHOWING, EVEN AFTER THE DOOR HAS BEEN CLOSED REPEATEDLY. SENSOR IS FAILING. CAR ONLY HAS 38,000 MILES ON IT!
THE DRIVER'S DOOR SENSOR IS MALFUNCTIONING. IT ALERTS YOU THAT THE DOOR IS OPEN WHEN IT IS CLEARLY SHUT AND SHUT WELL. I BELIEVE IT IS THE SENSOR. THE SENSOR IS IN THE DOOR PANEL AND NOT EASILY REPLACED. THIS PROBLEM CAUSES THE LIGHTS TO NOT GO OFF AND DOOR ALERT TO STAY ON, IN EFFECT DISTRACTING THE DRIVER AND MISINFORMING THEM OF A PROBLEM. THIS MAY AFFECT THE CAR DOING OTHER THINGS IF IT THINKS THE DOOR IS OPEN WHEN IT IS NOT. THIS HAPPENS WHEN VEHICLE IS STATIONARY AND CONTINUES WHILE MOVING. IT IS NOT AN ADJUSTMENT PROBLEM WITH THE LATCH.

DRIVER DOOR SENSOR INTERMITTENTLYY GOES OUT. DOOR WILL CLOSE PROPERLY AND WILL START DRIVING AND SOMETIMES THE SWITCH ACTIVATES WHILE I AM DRIVING EVEN ON THE FREEWAY. THE DOOR IS CLEARLY SHUT (AT LEAST I THINK IT IS). OTHER ISSUE IS IF THE DOOR SENSOR IS SAYING DOOR IS OPEN, THE AUTO DOOR LOCKS WHEN YOU GO OVER 10 MPH DOES NOT WORK.
DURING COLD WEATHER, WHEN I START THE CAR IT HAS A HIGH PITCHED WHINING SOUND WITH LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND THE CAR BECOMES VERY DIFFICULT TO STEER WHILE PULLING OUT OF PARKING SPOT. CAR CONTINUES WITH WHINING SOUND FOR APPROXIMATELY 15-20 MINUTES UNTIL FULLY WARMED UP, STEERING COLUMN FEELS TIGHT DURING NORMAL MOTION OF CAR UNTIL WHINING STOPS.
SAFETY ISSUE WITH DOOR AJAR WARNING, DOME LIGHT STAYS ON, DOOR DOES NOT LOCK WHILE DRIVING. A WARNING CHIMES " PUT BACK IN PARK." THE DOORS CANNOT BE LOCKED FROM THE INSIDE. BROUGHT IT TO MY MECHANIC AND HE SAID THE DOOR LATCH AND LIGHT SWITCH WAS ONE MODULE AND THAT IT HAD TO BE REPLACED TO THE TUNE OF ABOUT $500. ONCE REPLACED THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. LOOKING ONLINE, THIS IS A REALLY COMMON PROBLEM. I FEEL ITS A DEFECT THAT SHOULD BE RECALLED AND REPLACED!

PROBLEM OCCURS INTERMITTENTLY, SEEMINGLY MORE OFTEN WHEN OUTSIDE TEMPERATURES REACH ABOVE 70 DEGREES. ATTEMPTS TO OPEN AND SHUT THE DOOR MULTIPLE TIMES OFTEN DOES NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE. WHEN ISSUE OCCURS THE DOORS DO NOT LOCK AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE VEHICLE BEGINS MOVING, INTERIOR LIGHTS REMAIN ON. OCCURS WHEN STARTING TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE OR WHEN PARKING. IF PARKING, WHEN THE KEY FOB "LOCK" BUTTON IS PUSHED THE HORN HONKS TWICE RATHER THAN THE NORMAL SINGLE HONK, INDICATING THAT THE SECURITY ALARM IS NOT ACTIVATED. PROBLEM OCCURRED WITHIN THE FIRST 10K MILES AND WAS FIXED BY FORD DEALERSHIP UNDER WARRANTY. PROBLEM STARTED TO OCCUR AGAIN AROUND 35K MILES (JAN 2016).
I BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS FOR THE PAST YEAR ON THE DRIVER AND PASANGER DOOR AJAR .. NO MATTER HOW HARD I SLAM THE DOORS . LIGHTS STILL ON , AND AJAR SYMBOLS ON . STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH BRAKING HARD PEDAL AT AROUND 63000 MILES. AT THE SAME TIME THE VEHICLE WOULD SHUT DOWN WHILE STOPPED IN TRAFFIC OR WHILE VEHICLE IS IN PARK MODE.

DOOR ADJAR SWITCH MALFUNCTIONING AND SIGNAL STAYS ON WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED, INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON, AND DOORS WILL NOT STAY LOCKED WHICH IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE.
DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS ON EVEN AFTER CLOSING DOOR SEVERAL TIMES. THIS CAUSES THE DOORS TO STAY UNLOCKED AND THE DOME LIGHT ON. IT ALSO INTERMITTENTLY WILL TURN ON AT NIGHT WHILE JUST SITTING IN THE DRIVEWAY DRAINING THE BATTERY. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO BE DRIVING AROUND WITH THE DOORS UNLOCKED AND WITH THE DOME LIGHT ON AT NIGHT.
DRIVERS SIDE DOOR ALARM SHOWS DOOR AJAR WHEN IT IS NOT. INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON. NO AMOUNT OF DOOR CLOSING MAKES IT STOP. IT WAS INCONSISTENT, NOW IT HAPPENS CONSTANTLY.
THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE CAR BLOWS EXTREMELY HOT NO MATTER THE TEMP SETTING. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPING FOR OVER A YEAR NOW OFF AND ON. IT STARTED LAST WINTER WHEN THE PASSENGER SIDE BLEW ICY COLD NO MATTER THE TEMPERATURE SETTING. MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR ALWAYS SHOWS AJAR THEREFORE MY KICKS WILL NOT ENGAGE WHILE DRIVING .
