WHEN DRIVING AT SPEEDS FROM 55MPH AND UP, VEHICLE SWAYS OUT OF CONTROL. DEALER HAS SEEN VEHICLE 3 TO 4 TIMES, AND CANNOT FIX IT. *AK THE DEALER STATED THAT THIS IS THE WAY THE VEHICLE WAS MADE, CONSUMER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE MOSTLY SWAYED FROM SIDE TO SIDE DURING LANE CHANGES. *SLC

AIR LINK CUPLER SUSPENSION CAUSING REAR SUSPENSION TO DROP. DEALER IS INSPECTING VEHICLE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
MOTOR MOUNT BOLT HAD BROKEN FROM VEHICLE, CAUSING ENGINE TO SHUTTER AND LOSE POWER. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
AIR LINK COUPLER SEPARATED, CAUSING REAR SUSPENSION TO DROP. DEALER IS INSPECTING VEHICLE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
CONSUMER HAD TO REPLACE REAR TIRES AFTER 20 THOUSAND MILES TWICE. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED; HOWEVER, IS UNABLE TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM.*AK
THE TRUCK HAS 32,000 MILES ON IT AND THE FRONT ROTORS ARE NO GOOD. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TURNED (1) TIME. I BOUGHT THE EXPEDITION USED AND HAVE PUT MAYBE 10,000 MILES ON IT. SPEAKING WITH THE DEALERSHIP THEY SAY WHEN THE TRUCK WAS BOUGHT FROM THEM, THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ROTORS OR BRAKES. MY FRONT BAKES ARE COMPLETELY GONE AND SO ARE THE ROTORS. THE DEALERSHIP SAYS THAT SINCE I LIVE ON A DIRT ROAD, THIS MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT. I HAVE HAD (2) OTHER FORD TRUCKS (F-150'S) THAT NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM, MY HUSBAND HAS A F-250 AND IT HAS 2 TIMES THE MILEAGE ON IT AND IT DOES NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. I DON'T THINK THIS IS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.*AK
CONSUMER STATES THAT AFTER HAVING RECALL DONE THE TIRE THAT THEY ARE REPLACING IT WITH, IS CAUSING THE SPEEDOMETER TO BE OFF BY 31/2 MILES AND THE ODOMETER TO BE OFF ALSO. CONTACTED DEALER ,CANNOT FIX PROBLEM. MR

THE CONTINENTAL TIRE CO ISSUED A TIRE RECALL AUG 20 2002. MY TIRES WERE IN THE DATES GIVEN FOR THE RECALL BUT UNTIL NOW I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY REPLACEMENT TIRES EVEN THOUGH THE DEALER ORDERED THEM SEPT 23, 2002. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH CTNA NUMEROUS TIMES BY E-MAIL AND TELEPHONE BUT I HAVE NOT GOT AN ANSWER ,ON WHAT DATE MY TIRES WILL BE SHIPPED TO MY FORD DEALER ;CLAUDE DEBEAUX IN VIVIAN, LA. DT
CONSUMER STATED SHE BECAME OF AWARE OF A TIRE RECALL BEFORE THE RECALL LETTER WAS RECEIVED AND FOUND IT TO BE IMPERATIVE TO REPLACED ALL 4 TIRES FOR SAFETY REASONS, HOWEVER CONTINENTAL ONLY REIMBURSED CONSUMER OF WHAT THEY THOUGHT WAS COMPARABLE AND CONSUMER FEELS THAT IS NOT FAIR NOR IS IT JUSTIFIED.(GENERAL GRABER TIRES)*JB
NHTSA RECALL 02T012000; THE OWNERS' NEW TIRES WERE PURCHASED MARCH 2002 WHICH THE RECALL BY CONTINENTAL MANUFACTURE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE OTHER MONTHS BEFORE AUGUST 2002. THE OWNER WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED DUE THAT BUT THE TIRES HE REPLACE WERE THOSE OF CONTINENTAL WHICH WERE RECALLED. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. TS
WHILE DRIVING CONSUMER STATES' THE VEHICLE'S TAIL PIPE WAS SHOOTING OUT METAL. CONSUMER WITNESS FLAMES IN THE REAR SEAT, PULLED OVER AND VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE. CAUSE IS STILL UNKNOWN. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION.
CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER ON TIRES FROM CONTINENTAL, STATING TO CONTACT A FORD DEALER AND HAVE RECALL PERFORMED. CONSUMER CALLED DEALER AND DEALER STATED TIRE WERE NOT AVAILABLE AND THAT CONSUMER WOULD NEED TO CONTACT CONTINENTAL. CONSUMER FEELS UNSAFE DRIVING ON DEFECTED TIRES. CONSUMER HAS BEEN TOLD TIRE WERE IN SEVERAL TIMES, AND AFTER DRIVING TO DEALER BEING TOLD THE TIRES STILL ARE NOT IN. ALL FOUR TIRES SHOWED SIGNIFICANT CRACKING AND SPLITTING IN THE SIDE WALLS. ALL FOUR HAVE BEEN REPLACED. *JG

THE MASTER SWITCH FAILED, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO HAVE NO BLINKERS, THE WIPERS WORKED INTERMITTENTLY, AND THE SECURITY SYSTEM DID NOT WORK PROPERLY.*JB
BOTH FRONT TIRES FAILED AT THE SAME TIME, WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. THE MANUFACTURER DENIED REIMBURSEMENT, BECAUSE THE RECEIPTS FELL OUT OF DATE. THE CONSUMER REQUESTED TO BE COMPENSATED FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE TIRES AT 10K MILES. SCC *JB
THERE WAS IRREGULAR TIRE WEAR ON THE CONTINENTAL TIRES. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE DATE OF PURCHASE HAD FELL OUTSIDE OF THE WEEKS OF RANGE GIVEN IN THE RECALL NOTICE. SCC *JB
THE VEHICLE VIOLENTLY PULLED TO THE RIGHT, WHICH CAUSED THE CONSUMER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. *JB

THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE CAMPAIGN # 02T012000 FOR THE TIRES ON THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR WHICH STATED THAT THE TIRE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM ENDED 4/1/03. THE DEALER IS REQUIRING PAYMENT TO REPLACE THE TIRES. *NLM
WHILE TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEED, THE REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRE BLEW OUT. THE TIRE TREAD COMPLETELY SEPARATED. *JB
WHILE TRAVELING 60 MPH WITHOUT ANY INDICATION DRIVER'S REAR TIRE SEPARATED BUT STILL HAD AIR IN IT. *AK
CONSUMER STATES THAT WINDSHIELD WIPERS COME ON AT RANDOM. CAUSE UNKNOWN.*AK
THE LETTER FOR THE GENERAL GRABBER AW TIRE RECALL WAS SENT TO CONSUMER'S PREVIOUS ADDRESS. CONSUMER RECEIVED THE LETTER AFTER THE CAMPAIGN HAD ENDED. MANUFACTURER ONLY AGREED TO PAY PART OF THE COST FOR THE REPLACEMENT TIRES. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED DRIVER SLIGHTLY TURNED STEERING WHEEL TO GO AROUND ANOTHER VEHICLE, BUT STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT TURN, CONSUMER LOST CONTROL AND VEHICLE FLIPPED OVER. *AK
TWO TIRES EXPERIENCED TREAD SEPARATION, THE TIRES WERE REPLACED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE. THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE TIRES. *MR *SCC *JB
AIR BAG LIGHT INDICATOR FLASHES THEN IT STAYS ON. THIS ACTION OCCURS ONLY WHEN VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. *AK
VEHICLE EXPERIENCED SHIFT CABLE FAILURE. WHEN THIS OCCURRED THE SHIFT LEVER BECAME DIFFICULT TO SHIFT, ALSO, DRIVER WAS UNABLE TO INDICATE WHAT GEAR THE VEHICLE WAS IN. THE CABLE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED. THERE WAS RECALL ON 97 V 171 000 ON THIS ISSUE, BUT THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED. *AK
PROBLEMS UNLOCKING VEHICLE'S REAR DRIVER SIDE DOOR, REAR WIPER MECHANISM, HOOD LATCH.*MR REAR DRIVER SIDE CAN ONLY BE OPENED FROM THE OUTSIDE. HOOD LATCH UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL IS DIFFICULT TO RELEASE WITHOUT GREAT DIFFICULTY. REAR WIPER ON TAIL-GATE DOOR MALFUNCTIONED. DEALER WOULDN'T REPAIR VEHICLE BECAUSE WARRANTY EXPIRED. *PH
WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS DRIVER HEARD A LOUD NOISE, AND ENGINE BEGAN TO SHAKE. CONSUMER PULLED OVER AND PARKED. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DEALER. THE DEALER REPLACED THE SPARK PLUGS AND CYLINDER HEADS. *AK
