Air Bags did not deploy Impact directly to drivers side of vehicle the other car was going 55 MPH caused me the driver to hit my head on the window hard. I was informed the air bags should have deployed by officer on site.
Front brake hose metal crimp completely rusted causing brake hose separation and failure. Design has rubber boot over crimp which actually retains moisture over many years. Boot may be intended to reduce stress at joint of metal to hose but actually enhanced failure mode. Drivers side came apart after minor bump during service, have photos of passenger side still intact but clearly fragile.
Driver seatbelt- Randomly releases from buckle when driving. Happened about 3-4 times already.
Vehical burst into flames seems on passenger side under the hood...Had been parked all day. No one around or injured. Vehical is a total loss.
I gave a friend a ride to Wal mart in my 2001 Expedition to buy some power steering fluid, luckily I parked over by the automotive section. I turned it off and waited in vehicle till he returned, about 7 or 8 minutes. I started the engine, grabbed the brake and dropped it in reverse when engine revved sending us backwards completely out of control with both feet on the brakes, spinning rear wheels and I turned ignition key off as quick as possible but violently slammed into a truck semitrailer only, parked alongside Wal mart tire shop. Completely totalled out the entire rear passenger liftback, taillights, tailgate, rear hatch window, left rear luever window, left tailpipe, tow hitch package and rear bumper. With only min. coverage, I'm now w/o a vehicle after completely replacing entire front and rear suspension, steering and tires plus alignment less than 6 months prior, with 275000 miles. Thank you very much Ford Motor Co. This was NOT an issue of driver error !.. I WILL find a way to legally hold you responsible for my loss, making FORD liable for repairing or replacing my vehicle ! This happened on Aug 29th, 2022 approx. 4pm at Wal mart property, in Ukiah, CA. 95482
On the second row seat, passenger side door will not open using the door handle with the child safety switch in lock or unlock position. It will open from the outside handle. This is a safety concern. In case accident happen or fire in the vehicle occurs, the second and third row passengers can not get out of the vehicle fast enough for their safety. This has not work for over a year now.
VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE DUE TO AN INCORRECTLY INSTALLED HEAD LIGHT DUE TO A CRACKED PLUG ASSEMBLY. VEHICLE WAS IN A FAST-FOOD DRIVE THROUGH WHEN THE SMOKE AND SUBSEQUENT FLAMES WERE SEEN. DUE TO AGE OF THE VEHICLE THE TASK OF CHANGING THE LIGHT BULB WAS FARMED OUT TO LOCAL OIL CHANGE SHOP. WHILE CHANGING THE PLACING THE NEW BULB INTO THE PLUG ASSEMBLY THE THIN PLASTIC BROKE KEEPING THE BULB FROM SEATING PROPERLY. TESTED OKAY ON REASSEMBLY BUT ONCE NIGHT CAME THE LIGHT WAS ON FOR ONLY 15 MINUTES AND IGNITED THE INNER HEAD LAMP ASSEMBLY AND SUBSEQUENTLY MORE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. FORTUNATELY, THE FAST-FOOD RESTAURANT CAME OUT WITH AN EXTINGUISHER AND PUT OUT THE FIRE. THANKFULLY, NO ONE WAS HURT HOWEVER, HAD THE FIRE OCCURRED ON THE HIGHWAY, IN A PARKING LOT UNATTENDED, OR IN THE HOMES GARAGE, THE OUTCOME WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR WORSE.
MY VEHICLE YEAR,MAKE,AND MODEL HAS MULTIPLE MANUFACTURER RECALLS PERTAINING TO MY SPECIFIC VEHICLES VIN NUMBER. I HAVE 0 UNREPAIRED RECALLS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN ASSESSED AND HAS HAD ZERO COMPONENTS REPLACED UNDER RECALLS FOR SPECIFIC COMPONENTS. EACH AND EVERY RECALLED COMPONENTS ASSOCIATED WITH MY VEHICLES YEAR, MAKE, AND MODEL PERTAINING TO MY VEHICLES VIN NUMBER ARE A SAFETY RISK AT FAULT AND ANY PROBLEMS CREATE UNSAFE CONDITIONS FOR OPERATION OF VEHICLE ON THE ROAD. MY ASSESSMENT OF MY VEHICLES SAFETY RISK IS HIGH DUE TO THE 0 UNREPAIRED RECALLS MY VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED WITH NEW COMPONENTS TO AVOID THESE SAFETY RISKS FROM COMPONENT FAILURE.
GOING TO MICHIGAN FROM TENNESSEE, DRIVING ON THE EXPRESSWAY WHAT'S MY FORD EXPEDITION TRIDENT MOTOR V8 HEARD A POPPING SOUND AND ALMOST GOT IN AN ACCIDENT AND FOUND OUT ONCE AGAIN THE SPARKPLUG BLEW OUT OF THE MOTOR AGAIN WITH MY FAMILY IN THE VEHICLEE IT'S A 2001 AND I THINK YOUR COMPANY SHOULD PAY FOR THE REPAIRS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2001 FORD EXPEDITION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN HIS APARTMENT COMPLEX, HIS VEHICLE SUDDENLY CAUGHT FIRE WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE HAD HEARD A LOUD BOOM FROM INSIDE WHICH PROMPTED HIM TO CHECK ON HIS VEHICLE. THE CONTACT IMMEDIATELY CALLED 911 AS THE FIRE SPREAD TO OTHER VEHICLES IN THE PARKING LOT. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ABLE TO EXTINGUISH, A TOTAL OF FOUR VEHICLES WERE COMPLETELY BURNED TO THE GROUND. THE FIRE MARSHALS WERE ALSO CALLED AND A REPORT WAS FILED. ALL VEHICLES INVOLVED IN THE FIRE REMAINED AT THE APARTMENT COMPLEX PARKING LOT. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED AS A RESULT OF THE FIRE. THE MANUFACTURER NOR THE DEALER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT HIS VEHICLE HAD BEEN PLACED UNDER RECALL FOR NHTSA RECALL NUMBER: 05V017000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL) BUT WAS UNAWARE THAT THERE WAS EVER A RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 110,000.
FYI MY 2001 FORD EXPEDITION IS EXPERIENCING THE SAME SOFT BRAKE PROBLEM THAT WARRANTED THEM TO ISSUE RECALL #19S54. I HAVE CHANGED THE BRAKES AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTS . FORD NEEDS TO INCLUDE THE 2001 EXPEDITIONS IN THIS RECALL. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO STOP THIS HEAVY VEHICLE WITH A SOFT BRAKE PEDAL PUSHED ALL THE WAY DOWN !

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.

THE HORN DOESN'T WORK AT ALL EVEN WHEN LOCKING WITH THE KEYLESS FOB. CRUISE CONTROL DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK AT ALL. I CAN ENGAGE THE E-BRAKE AND THE LIGHT WON'T TURN ON IN MY DASH. NONE OF THE CONTROLS ON MY STEERING WHEEL WORK AT ALL.

THE CHECK SUSPENSION LIGHT IS ON AND I NOTICED EVERY EXPEDITION IN THIS YEAR RANGE HAS SUSPENSION PROBLEMS AND THE WIREING SOMETIMES THE RADIO WILL GO OFF AND THE LIGHTS ON DASH AND SPEEDOMETER LIGHTS WILL SHUT OFF.
SIDE AIR BAG IN DRIVER SEAT DEPLOYED WHILE VEHICLE WAS STARTED AND IN PARK WITHOUT ANY COLLISION OR IMPACT OF ANY TYPE. VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND HAD BEEN RUNNING LESS THAN 30-45 SECONDS AND DRIVER WAS REACHING FOR SEAT BELT WHEN AIR BAG EXPLODED WITH ENOUGH FORCE TO CAUSE A HAND LACERATION AND TORN COLLATERAL LIGAMENT.
WHILE MY TWO YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND I WERE SITTING IN THE VEHICLE (VEHICLE WAS OFF) A PASSERBY KNOCKED ON THE WINDOW INFORMING ME THAT MY CAR WAS ON FIRE. I EXITED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND FLAMES COMING FROM UNDER HOOD AND BELOW THE CAR. COME TO FIND OUT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE VEHICLE FOR A FAULTY SPEED CONTROL SWITCH KNOWN TO CATCH FIRE AND EVEN THOUGH I HAD RECENTLY HAD THE CAR IN FOR SERVICE AT A FORD DEALERSHIP, IT WAS NOT ADDRESSED OR TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE THIS FIRE. TOTALLY NEGLIGENT! WE COULD HAVE BURNED UP IN THE CAR WITHOUT ANY WARNING.
REAR UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS COMPLETELY RUSTED OUT, RESULTING A DANGEROUS DRIVING SITUATION. I HAVE VEHICLE SERVICED REGULARLY AT A FORD DEALER AND WAS NEVER INFORMED OF SUCH A HAZARD. WHILE DRIVING, HEARD A LOUD NOISE AND FELT A BAD JERK, REAR-END JUST FELL DOWN. HAD SEVERE MEDICAL ISSUES AS RESULT. I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE SINCE 2012. I HAVE HAD THREE PLUG TO POP/ BLOW OUT, SINCE I'VE OWNED. 1ST TIME- WAS 9/2012. WAS DRIVING AND HEARD A POP, WAS IN MOTION,ENGINE LIGHT FLASHED AND HAD TO BE TOWED. 2ND TIME-WAS 6/2014 WAS ON A MOUNTAIN ROAD, IN MOTION AND LIGHT CAME ON HEARD A POP , VEHICLE LOST POWER , WAS SCARY THOUGH I WAS GOING TO WRECK , DUE TO LOST OF POWER . 3RD TIME-05/2015 , WAS IN TOWN, COMING BACK FROM THE STORE IN TRAFFIC, WAS IN MOTION , IT POPPED THEN DIED , ( LIGHT DIDN'T COME ON THIS TIME)ALMOST GOT HIT IN THE REAR END ,DUE TO LOST OF POWER. I CRANKED THE VEHICLE AND IT SOUNDED HORRIBLE. WHEN I CRANKED IT AGAIN I LET IT ROLL ON IT'S OWN TO DOWN THE HILL TO GAS STATION TO GET IT OFF THE ROAD, GOT IT TOWED HOME. THIS IS AN ISSUE FORD KNOWS OF,PLEASE GET THEM TO ADDRESS AND FIXED. IT SOON. THIS IS SOLD AS A FAMILY VEHICLE AND WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO LOOSE ANY FAMILY TO GET THIS ADDRESSED AND FIXED.

WIPERS FAIL, CAME WITHIN INCHES OF MAJOR CRASH SEVERAL TIMES, DUE TO POOR OR NO VISIBILITY FROM RAIN OR SNOW BECAUSE OF WIPERS COMPLETE FAILURE. ALSO, POWER WINDOWS FAIL, INTERIOR LIGHTS FAIL, RADIO FAILS, 4 WHEEL DRIVE FAIL AND IT WAS STATED ON LINE THAT AIR BAG FAILURE IS ALSO A PROBLEM. CAN NOT DRIVE IN RAIN OR SNOW! WHEN LOOKING UP THE GEM MODULE PART (GENERIC ELECTRONIC MODULE) IT WAS STATED IN SEVERAL ONLINE PARTS SOURCES THAT THE 2001 FORD EXPEDITION HAD A WINDSHIELD IMPROPERLEY SEALED AT THE FACTORY ON THE ASSEMBLY LINE. THUS WATER LEAKS ON THE GEM MODULE SHORTING IT OUT; AND IT WAS STATED THAT IN SEVERAL OF THE SAME VEHICLES THAT THEIR ENTIRE FUSE BOX FAILS WHICH IS LOCATED DIRECTLY UNDER THE GEM MODULE WHICH IS MOUNTED ON TOP OF THE FUSE BOX CAUSING ENTIRE ELECTRICAL FAILURE. I FEEL IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FORD TO RECALL THESE VEHICLES AND FIX THE PROBLEM. IT IS AN ASSEMBLY LINE FAILURE, I CAN NOT RENEW MY LICENCE DUE TO SAFETY STANDARDS UNTIL THIS ISSUE IS ADDRESSED AND FORD CORRECTS THE PROBLEM.

I SENT THIS REQUEST TO FORD MOTOR COMPANY-I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE CHILD SAFETY LOCK ON BOTH REAR DOORS ON MY 2001 FORD EXPEDITION. THE DOORS LOCK BY THEMSELVES AND CANNOT BE OPENED FROM INSIDE. I JUST PURCHASED A 2001 FORD EXPEDITION EDDIE BOWER EDITION AND THE FRONT END SQUEAKS. SO I ACCESSED THIS SITE AND FOUND SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME CONDITION. AFTER READING THESE COMPLAINTS, I AM WORRIED THAT MINE WILL DO THE SAME THING. I'M CONSIDERING PARKING THE VEHICLE AND NEVER USING IT AGAIN. SOMEONE NEEDS TO FORCE FORD TO RECALL THESE VEHICLES AND HAVE THEM REPAIR THE PROBLEMS BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT. TO HAVE THE FRONT END REPAIRED ON MY EXPEDITION WOULD COST AT LEAST $1500.00 OR MORE. I AM ON DISABILITY AND CANNOT AFFORD THESE REPAIRS. THIS IS A MANUFACTURE DEFECT AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AS SUCH. ALL VEHICLES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DESIGNED WITH THE SAFETY OF, NOT ONLY THE PASSENGERS IN MIND, BUT ALSO OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD. THE COST OF THE REPAIRS TO FORD MOTOR COMPANY WOULD BE MINOR COMPARED TO THE LOSS OF LIFE AND TO THE DAMAGES TO HUMANS AND VEHICLE(S) IN AN ACCIDENT. I STARTED MY TRUCK AND THERE WAS A VERY LOUD KNOCKING NOISE, MY HUSBAND LOOKED UNDER THE HOOD AND NOTICED I BLEW A SPARKPLUG RIGHT OUT OF THE ENGINE HEAD AND ALSO BROKE A COIL. *TT

THE FIRE DEPARTMENT STATED THAT THE FIRE STARTED FROM UNDER THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 208,000.

I WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT, AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I HEARD THIS LOUD CRASH AND BANG, AND WAS JERKED FORWARD. THOUGHT THE PICK UP TRUCK BEHIND ME REAR-ENDED ME. THAT DRIVER PULLED UP ASIDE OF ME AND TOLD ME YOU JUST DROPPED YOUR DRIVESHAFT. SINCE IT WAS DARK AND MY VEHICLE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AT AN INTERSECTION I CALLED THE POLICE. WHEN THEY ARRIVED THEY TOLD ME WE CAN'T WAIT FOR YOUR TOW TRUCK DRIVER TO GET HERE, IT'S TO DANGEROUS, SO THEY CALLED ANOTHER TOWING COMPANY. WELL AFTER A LONG HASSLE AND THE 1ST TOW OF $150.00, I GOT MY VEHICLE TOWED TO MY HOUSE. AFTER MAKING SEVERAL PHONE CALLS I FINALLY GOT IT TOWED TO THE REPAIR SHOP ON 7/8/13 AND HAD TO PAY ANOTHER TOW OF $75.00. FINALLY GOT THE CALL ON 7/10/13 WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO MY ROTTED OUT EXPEDITION, ALL 4 CONTROL ARMS WHERE RUSTED OUT, 2 OF THEM ACTUALLY BENT AND BROKE, DAMAGING MY DRIVESHAFT. COSTING ME ANOTHER $559.14 FOR THE REPAIR. THAT'S ONLY FIXING THE 2 LOWER CONTROL ARMS. THEY HAVE TO FIND THE 2 UPPER AND REPLACE THEM. WHICH WILL BE AT LEAST ANOTHER $350.00 THIS ISN'T EVEN MENTIONING THE $1,000.00 I SPENT ON THE RUSTED OUT ROTTED RADIATOR BRACKETS NOT EVEN A YEAR AGO. I WAS TOLD AND EXPECT RUST BUT THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS, AND ALSO TOLD FORD COULD HAVE COATED THIS PARTS OR MADE THEM STRONGER TO AVOID THESE SERIOUS RUST PROBLEMS. LUCKILY I ONLY GOT MUSCLE SPASMS IN MY BACK, SHOULDER, AND LOWER NECK FROM THIS. BUT I DON"T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE ANY MORE. THIS IS MY LAST FORD I WILL EVER PURCHASE AGAIN !!!!!!!!!! FORD EXPEDITION 5.4L 2001 - SUDDEN BRAKE FAILURE WHILE TRAVELING 25 MPH IN PARKING LOT. BRAKE LINES RUSTED THROUGH CAUSED SUDDEN BRAKE FAILURE. CAR HAD UNDERCARRIAGE CLEANING FREQUENTLY DURING WINTER MONTHS AND THERE WAS NO INDICATION OF ANY PROBLEMS. WHEN REPLACING THE BRAKE LINES, OWNER WAS INFORMED THAT THE UPPER AND LOWER REAR CONTROL ARMS WERE RUSTED THROUGH AS WELL AND THAT IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT WAS NECESSARY TO AVOID THE REAR TRACK ARM FAILURE WHICH RESULTS IN DROPPING THE REAR AXLE AND COMPLETE LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL. VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW IN JUNE 2001 AND MAINTAINED CONTINUOUSLY.OWNER HAS POSSESSION OF CORRODED CONTROL ARMS AFTER REPAIR FOR EVIDENCE IN NHTSA INVESTIGATION. NHTSA IS ENCOURAGED TO CONTACT THE OWNER OF VEHICLE FOR INSPECTION OF FAILED PARTS FOR INVESTIGATIVE SUPPORT.. APPROXIMATELY 15-20 MINUTES AFTER I GOT HOME FROM WORK MY 2001 FORD EXPEDITIONS CATCHES ON FIRE. WE, MY WIFE AND 3 KIDS HERE A LOUD PRESSURE SOUND GO OFF OUTSIDE. NOT SURE WHAT WAS GOING ON, WE RUN TO THE FRONT DOOR AND AS MY WIFE OPENS THE DOORS SHE SCREAMS THAT THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE. WE RUN BACK INSIDE, SHE CALLS 911 AND I TAKE KIDS SAFELY THROUGH THE BACK YARD. I GOT BACK INSIDE THE HOUSE AND OPEN THE GARAGE DOOR AND FIND THE ENTIRE ONE CAR GARAGE FILLED WITH SMOKE. LUCKILY, NEIGHBORS GRAB THE HOSE AND ONE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER TO PUT OUT THE FIRE. THE FLAME REACHED THE GARAGE DOOR AND FRAME INCLUDING GUTTERS AND ROOF TILES. THANKFULLY TO THE NEIGHBORS THE ENTIRE HOUSE DID NOT CATCH ON FIRM SAID, THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT THE SCENE. THE LOUD PRESSURE SOUND WE HEARD WAS THE DRIVER SIDE TIRE BLOW OUT. APPARENTLY, THE FIRE HAD STARTED SEVERAL MINUTES PRIOR TO US HEADING THE SOUND. CONSIDERING THE GARAGE WAS FILLED WITH THICK DARK SMOKE, IT MAY HAVE BEEN APPROXIMATELY 5-10 MINUTES SINCE THE FIRE STARTED. IT WAS THE SCARIEST MOMENT OUR LIVES. EVER SINCE OUR FAMILY HAS NEVER BEEN THE SAME, ANY LITTLE SOUND WE HEAR OUTSIDE WE'RE ALERTED. *TR
MY CHEVY IMPALA FEW MONTHS I FILLED UP WITH GAS ALL THE WAY AND WHEN I GO T ON THE INTERSTATE THE FUEL GAUGE WENT DOWN FROM FULL TO HALF FULL OF GAS . THIS VEHICLE WAS BEING USED TO PULL A STUCK TRUCK FROM THE SAND AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. VEHICLE IS A 2001 FORD EXPEDITION XLT 4X4 PURCHASED NEW IN APRIL 2001 AND OWNED CONTINUOUSLY BY CURRENT OWNER, ONLY SERVICED AT HUB FORD OF COLCHESTER, CT AND GIRARD FORD OF NORWICH CT. FAILURE OF SUSPENSION/DRIVETRAIN COMPONENTS OCCURRED WHILE ACCELERATING ONTO A HIGHWAY ONRAMP. BOTH REAR LOWER CONTROL ARMS HAD CORROSION THAT LED TO COMPLETE DISCONNECTION FROM REAR AXLE. WITH NO SUPPORTING LOWER CONTROL ARMS, THE REAR TRANSAXLE SHIFTED DURING VEHICLE ACCELERATION. SHIFTING OF TRANSAXLE THEN INTRODUCED EXCESSIVE FORCE ON DRIVE SHAVE UJOINT (REAR TRANSAXLE UJOINT) WHICH CAUSED COMPLETE FAILURE AND DISCONNECTION OF REAR DRIVESHAFT. VEHICLE'S 4WD SYSTEM ENGAGED, ALLOWING VEHICLE TO BE SAFELY GUIDED ONTO THE AVAILABLE OFFRAMP (CLOVERLEAF HIGHWAY INTERSECTION) AND INTO SAFE RECOVERY LOCATION FOR TOWING BY AAA TO A LOCAL FORD DEALER. GIRARD FORD REPAIR ESTIMATES COSTS FOR ALL FOUR CORRODED CONTROL ARMS TO BE APPROXIMATELY $1500. SHATTERED PARTS OR DEBRIS ALSO CUT REAR BRAKE LINE LEADING TO LOSS OF REAR BRAKING AND ALL BRAKE FLUID LOSS - CAUSING ADDITIONAL INDIRECT REPAIR COSTS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 207,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 218,000.
THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE SINCE ACQUIRING THIS VEHICLE. THE BRAKES ARE VERY SOFT, THEY WILL PUMP UP BUT WHEN A QUICKER SLOW DOWN OR STOP IS NEEDED AN INDIVIDUAL DOESN'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO REMEMBER THAT. THERE HAVE BEEN NO INJURIES OR CRASHES AS OF THIS DATE. MASTER CYLINDER WAS REPLACED ON MECHANIC'S ADVICE HOWEVER THIS DID NOT IMPROVE THIS ISSUE. AS WELL THE VEHICLE SEEMS TO NEED THE LOWER BALL JOINTS WEAR OUT QUICKLY. ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT EACH TIME IT RAINS THERE IS WATER COMING IN FROM SOMEWHERE ON THE TOP DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD AND POST. IT DRIPS FROM THAT HAND GRIP DOWN TO LIGHT SWITCH AND INTO VENT ON DRIVER'S SIDE AS WELL. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES WHERE THERE IS AN ELECTRICAL SMELL WHICH CAUSES CONCERN OF A VEHICLE FIRE POSSIBILITY. *TR
