I have been trying to get our car repaired for a year now. As of Nov 2024, I was told by 2) ford dealers they expected the parts soon. We have taken the car to these dealers, had pictures taken, and the issue confirmed. Getting it repaired is a whole different matter and we keep getting brushed off, being told "they are trying to source the parts". The pillar trim is loose & rattling, and ready to fly off the car. We have been extremely patient and accepting of the delay, but now believe we aren't going to see this issue resolved.

Recall 24V031 A-pillar appliqué on both drivers and passenger side front have ripped off the vehicle during highway driving
My 2014 Explorer has developed corrosion on all 4 aluminum wheels causing air loss along the tire bead while driving. Underinflated tires generate heat, tire distortion and catastrophic failure. I had one wheel "repaired" at Tom's Ford in February 2023 at a cost of 187.95. Please see attached and note Ford themselves refer to the rim as rusted. Aluminum wheels should not rust nor corrode. It is my position Ford used dissimilar metals for coating the wheels to enhance appearance and in the process has created a dangerous situation of leaking tires.
My steering wheel is like using manual steering, it is very hard to turn it seems to get stuck in certain positions, easier in another spot when turning, then gets stuck again. It is very hard to turn, no lights on the dashboard, no error codes. This is a huge safety concern if I am driving and can no longer steer my vehicle safely. I see so many other complaining about this problem with 2014, why is there no recall? This is putting people at risk or crashing which could cause fatality!

Both A Pilar Trim pieces are currently loose on my 2014 Ford Explorer. This is now a recall from Ford as of February 2024 from the notice I received in the mail. I have been trying to have these trim pieces replaced on my car since March of 2024 but the part has not been available. Prior to this recall, this piece has already been repaired on my car once on August 4, 2020. The trim piece flew off my car on the freeway and luckily didn't hit anyone on the road. I would like to get these recall A Pilar trim pieces repaired ASAP because this is a safety issue as it can and will fly off and potentially damage another vehicle, person or cause an accident. Control arm on Ford 2014 explorer are prone to failure, causing vehicle to lose steering. Control arms rub excessively against brake components, also causing failure to both brakes, ABS, and sensors related to wheel speed. Failure is due to the manufacture. I received a recall notice (Safety Recall notice 24S02) / NHTSA Recall 24V031 whereby I a needing to have a exterior A-pillar applique trim clip attachment replaced. I received the notice in February 2024 and for the last year I have been trying to get this corrected and for the last year the Ford dealers have been telling me that they have the part on backlog. The trim that is to be corrected is now falling off from my windshield. How can i get this corrected? When can I find out when my dealer will get this part as they say they do not know when they will get it. I am dealing with Krauss Family Ford in Woodstock GA. Secondly, my back seat belt doesn't work it will not latch any more, and I have seen so many complaints about that as well, but again Ford will not recall it. So I have a seat in my vehicle that cannot be used by anyone as it is a safety concern if there was an accident.
