A MALFUNCTIONING CHECK VALVE WITHIN THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY CAUSES A PORTION OF THE UNUSED FUEL FROM ONE TANK TO BE RETURNED TO THE SECOND TANK. WHEN THIS OCCURS, THE CAPACITY OF THE SECOND TANK CAN BE EXCEEDED, CAUSING FUEL SPILLAGE
The contact owns a 1994 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, several unknown warning lights illuminated, and the rear brakes locked up. The contact lost control of the vehicle and crossed three lanes. The contact stated he bumped the curb which caused the vehicle to stop. The vehicle was not drivable. The contact towed the vehicle to his residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
SEPTEMBER 13TH I GOT INTO A SMALL ACCIDENT. I WAS PULLING MY TRAILER AND MY TRUCK RAN INTO A CONCRETE BARRIER. JUST RIGHT SIDE WAS MINOR. TRUCK JUMP ON TOP ON A ANGLE. I WAS FREAKING OUT COULD NOT GET THE SEAT BELT OFF. SOMEBODY HAD TO CUT IT. IM GLAD I WASNT BURNING IN THE TRUCK. I LOVE THESE 94 MODELS. BUT [XXX]. TRUCK JUST WENT UP IN FLAMES ,NEXT TO MY HOUSE. STARTED ON DRIVERS SIDE AND BURNT FROM SEATS TO THE FRONT BUMPER BURNING THE WINDSHIELD DASH AND THE ENGINE. TOTAL LOOSE.THE TRUCK WAS PARKED AND NOT RUNNING.
THROTTLE WON'T RETURN. ONCE PEDAL IS PUSHED IT STAYS AT HIGH REVVING. PEDAL WILL STAY ON FLOOR. CABLE WILL PULL BUT WON'T RETURN SO IDLE IS STUCK HIGH.
THE GAS FROM THE FRONT TANK GOES TO THE BACK THING AND THE TRUCK HESITATES AND CUTS OFF. AND THE AIR BAG LIGHT KEEPS BLINKING
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 FORD F-150. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE BRAKE PEDAL TRAVELED STRAIGHT TO THE FLOORBOARD WHEN IT WAS DEPRESSED. THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND REPLACED THE BRAKE LINES ON THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT MANEUVER OUT OF THE PARKING GEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 136,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHIFTED GEARS INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE FUEL PUMPS WERE DEFECTIVE AND REPLACED THEM. THE CONTACT THEN STATED THAT WHILE TRAVELING AT 50 MPH, THE CONTACT SMELLED A BURNING ODOR COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE STARTED TO LOSE MOTIVE POWER WHILE ABS, BATTERY, AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHTS BECAME ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER AND HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC SINCE THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESTART. THE MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE WITH A DEFECTIVE COMPUTER SYSTEM WHICH WAS REPLACED. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH KING COTTON FORD 965 US-51, COVINGTON, TN 38019 WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SUBJECTED TO A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 130,000.
FUEL IS PUMPING OUT OF REAR TANK TO FRONT TANK CAUSING FUEL TO PUMP OUT OF FRONT FILLER CAP AND DOWN SIDE OF TRUCK CAUSING FIRE HAZZARD
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 FORD F-150 WITH A DUEL GAS TANK. THE CONTACT CALLED ON BEHALF OF HER SPOUSE AND STATED THAT AS HE PULLED INTO A FUEL STATION, HE WAS MADE AWARE BY BYSTANDERS THAT FUEL WAS LEAKING FROM THE FUEL TANK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON HER HUSBAND EXITING THE VEHICLE, HE NOTICED FUEL LEAKING FROM THE REAR TANK AND UPON OPENING THE FUEL CAP A SIZZLING NOISE WAS HEARD AS FUEL SPEWED OUT THE TANK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT FUEL TANK WAS LEAKING INTO THE REAR FUEL TANK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC OR DEALER FOR DIAGNOSES OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 01I008000 (FUEL SYSTEM,GASOLINE) BUT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 152,000.

THE CONTACT STOPPED FUELING AND CALLED THE FUEL STATION ATTENDANT TO REPORT THE FUEL SPILL. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED NOTICING THE SMELL OF FUEL EMERGING OUT OF THE FRONT TANK WHEN REFUELING THE REAR TANK TWICE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT DID NOT TAKE THE VEHICLE TO GET IT DIAGNOSED BUT CONTACTED THE DEALER BUTCH OUSTALET IN GULFPORT, MISSISSIPPI BY PHONE. THE DEALER ADVISED TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR A DIAGNOSIS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,524.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT START WHEN CRANKED AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THIS IS AN A SERIOUS ONGOING PROBLEM. THIS FORD F-150 HAS DUAL GAS TANKS, FRONT AND REAR. IN THIS TRUCK THE FRONT TANK IS SOMEHOW GETTING OVER FILLED AS YOU DRIVE ALONG AND SPEWS FUEL. REMOVE THE CAP AND GAS GUSHES OUT. A LITTLE GOOGLING SHOWED THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO A LOT OF F-150S. HAVING HAPPENED TO A NUMBER OF THESE TRUCKS THERE MUST BE A RECALL OR AT LEAST A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN THAT SAID WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO FIX IT. THIS MUST BE COVERED BY A SAFETY RECALL. MOST RECALLS SEEM TO BE FOR RELATIVELY MINOR ISSUES. THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE. MOST RECALLS DON'T FIX PROBLEMS THAT APPROACH THE HAZARD TO LIFE AND PROPERTY THAT WOULD BE ENDANGERED IF THE VEHICLE BURST INTO FLAME. TRUCK LEAKS GASOLINE WHEN BOTH TANKS ARE FULL. TOOK TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DETECTED A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL PUMP. REAR TANK PUMPS ITS FUEL TO THE FRONT TANK. WHEN THE FRONT TANK IS FULL, THE GAS LEAKS IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IN AN AREA BENEATH THE BATTERY. THE 1993 FORDS WERE RECALLED FOR THIS ISSUE. BUILD DATE ON THIS TRUCK IS 01/94
MY DAD NOTICED THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT FLASHING ON AND OFF AT RANDOM SHORTLY BEFORE HE DIED. ONCE I WAS GIVEN IT AS A GIFT BY HIM IN HIS LAST WILL, I EXPERIENCED THE SAME ACTIVITY WITH THE LIGHT, "AND" NOW HAVE NO HORN AND THE HEADLIGHTS SOMETIMES FLASH ON AND OFF LIKE THEIR IS A SHORT IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM...NOT SURE IF THE AIRBAG CURRENTLY FUNCTIONS OR NOT!

THIS VEHICLE HAS DUAL FUEL TANKS. THE FRONT TANK SUPPLIES GAS TO THE MOTOR. THE REAR TANK DOES NOT SEEM TO FUEL THE MOTOR. GAS FROM THE FRONT TANK IS FORCED INTO THE REAR TANK UNTIL IT IS PRESSURIZED TO THE POINT OF COMING OUT THROUGH THE CAP. IF THE CAP IS REMOVED, BOTH FUMES AND GAS SPILL OUT OF THE FILLER NECK. I AM READING NOW THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE DURING OR AROUND THE 1994 TIME FRAME. IS FORD ATTEMPTING TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM? THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM. IT HAS HAPPENED IN 2011, 2012, 2013 AND NOW IN 2014, BUT I'VE NEVER KNOWN THIS COULD BE A FACTORY DEFECT. *TR

ON MONDAY I NOTICED A STRONG GASOLINE SMELL COMING FROM THE REAR TANK (DUAL TANK SYSTEM) OF MY TRUCK. TUESDAY AFTER SWITCHING GAS USE FROM THE FRONT TO REAR WHEN I STOPPED AT A LOCAL STORE, GAS WAS DRIBBLING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED OUT OF THE GAS CAP AREA FROM MY REAR TANK. BY THE TIME I GOT HOME PRESSURE CAUSED THE GAS TO PRACTICALLY EXPLODE OUT OF THE GAS CAP BY THE GALLONS. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAD TO BE CALLED TO ENSURE THAT MOVING THE TRUCK DID NOT START A FIRE AND TO CLEAN THE SPILL. AFTER RESEARCHING THE ISSUE, IT APPEARS THAT THERE WAS A RECALL THROUGH FORD FOR EARLIER DUAL TANK MODELS FOR THE SAME ISSUE (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER :93V125000). MANY OTHER 1994 F-150 OWNERS ARE HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE BUT A RECALL HAS NOT YET BEEN ISSUED (EXAMPLE: NHTSA COMPLAINT # 10533605). I ASSURE YOU THAT THIS WAS INDEED A HUGE FIRE HAZARD! ACCORDING TO YOUR FILES, IN 1993, FORD IS WELL AWARE OF THIS ISSUE THROUGH RECALL 93V-125. WHY HAVEN'T OTHER OWNERS WITH DUAL TANKS BEEN NOTIFIED? IN ADDITION, WHY HASN'T THERE BEEN ANOTHER RECALL FOR LATER FORD MODELS? *TR

UPDATED 9/17/13*CN THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN BOTH TANKS WERE OVER HALF FULL, WHILE DRIVING, THE FRONT TANK WOULD RUN THE TRUCK AND AT THE SAME TIME, PUMP EXTRA FUEL INTO THE REAR TANK, CAUSING GAS TO OVER FLOW FROM THE GAS GAP, AND ONTO THE GROUND. WHILE DRIVING MY SEAT RECLINER BOLTS BROKE FROM THE SEAT FRAME CAUSING THE SEAT TO RECLINE ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK SEAT IN MY EXTENDED CAB. I WAS ABLE TO NOT LOSE CONTROL OF MY TRUCK THANKFULLY HOWEVER I HAVE IT TEMPORARILY FIXED WITH A BOLT STUCK THROUGH IT TO KEEP IT FROM RECLINING. UPON CALLING FORD THEY TOLD ME THAT EVEN THOUGH I FOUND A RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE; IT HOWEVER DID NOT AFFECT MY VIN #. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED. UPON SPEAKING WITH FORD DIRECTLY FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS TO FIX IT, I WAS TOLD THE PARTS/BOLTS ONLY COME IN A BIG QUANTITY PACK AND WOULD BE ALMOST $200 BUT I WOULD ONLY NEED ONE OR TWO BOLTS TO FIX IT. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND SHOULD BE HANDLED BY THE DEALER FREE OF CHARGE AND INCLUDED AS A RECALL DUE TO THE SAFETY HAZARD THIS COULD HAVE POSED TO MYSELF AND OTHER CITIZENS DRIVING! *TR

THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE FLAMES BEGAN NEAR THE FIRE WALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 160,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE COIL PACK AND THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION TEMPORARILY. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWO MONTHS LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 226,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT FUEL SPILLED OUT FROM THE FILLER NECK WHILE REFUELING. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH DUEL FUEL TANKS AND FUEL OVERFLOWING FROM THE REAR FUEL TANK INTO THE FRONT FUEL TANK WAS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 73,000.
VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE AFTER TURNING THE IGNITION OFF. I WAS IN HARRYS ARMY AND NAVY STORE, 691 ROUTE 130 ROBBINSVILLE, NJ 08691 (609) 585-5450, WHEN I HEARD OVER THE INTERCOM THAT THERE WAS A GREEN F150 ON FIRE IN THE PARKING LOT. I IMMEDIATELY WENT OUTSIDE AND SOMEONE FROM THE PLAZA WAS TRYING TO PUT OUT. SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SHOWED UP ALONG WITH THE POLICE AND EXTENGUISHED THE MOTOR UNDER THE HOOD COMPLETELY. I HAD THE TRUCK TOWED TO PINE HILL, NJ WHICH COST 200.00 ON TOP OF LOSING MY TRUCK WITH IS MY FINANCIAL STABILITY DUE TO BEING A SELF CONTRACTOR. ALL OF THE HOSED, BELTS AND WIRING IS MELTED, HOWEVER, THE FIRE WAS CONTAINED TO UNDER THE HOOD. I IMMEDIATELY HAD TO PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICILE DUE TO THE HEAVY DAMAGE AND MY LIVELY HOOD. SOMEONE ADVISED ME THAT THERE ARE RECALLS REGARDING THE WIRING IN THE TRUCK WHICH CAUSES FIRE DAMAGE UNDER THE HOOD. THE STRAPS HOLDING THE FRONT FUEL TANK ONTO MY 1994 FORD F150 ARE CORRODING AWAY, CAUSING A SMALL GAS LEAK AND AN UNSTABLE TANK. THERE IS A CURRENT RECALL FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM ON THE FORD 1997-2004 F150 PICK-UP TRUCKS, BUT IT DOES NOT EXTEND BEYOND THOSE YEARS THOUGH IT SHOULD. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO ORDER THE PROPER PARTS NEEDED FOR REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH THE FUEL TANK FOR THE 1993 MODEL YEAR EVEN THOUGH THE VEHICLE WAS A 1994 MODEL. AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 108,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 FORD F-150 WITH TBC VANDERBILT TURBO TECH GT TIRES, SIZE 265/70R15. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THREE OF THE FOUR TIRES FAILED WITHIN 70 MILES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BEADING FAILED AROUND THE SIDEWALL. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS TOLD THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED WHEN THE TIRES WERE INSTALLED ON THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT LATER DISCOVERED THAT THE FUEL TANK STRAPS WERE CORRODED AND FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. WHILE DRIVING OUR 1994 FORD F150 I BEGAN TO SMELL SOMETHING BURNING. SMOKE BEGAN FILLING THE CAB THROUGH THE VENTS SO I RETURNED HOME AND TURNED OF THE ENGINE. 4 MINUTES LATER I RETURNED TO REMOVE THE CARSEATS AND NOTICED FIRE FALLING FROM UNDER THE PASSENGER SIDE. I WENT TO CALL 911 AND RETURNED 4 MINUTES LATER AND FLAMES WERE COMING OUT FROM UNDER THE HOOD. WITHIN ANOTHER 2 MINUTES THE WHOLE CAB WAS CONSUMED IN FLAMES AND BURNED UNTIL THE FIRETRUCKS CAME. TRUCK IS A LOSS AND MELTED TO MY DRIVEWAY. LUCKILY MY CHILDREN WERE NOT WITH ME AND NO ONE WAS HURT. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY SENT AN REPRESENTATIVE TO INVESTIGATE THE FAILURE. THE REPRESENTATIVE ADVISED HER THAT THE FIRE STARTED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE OVER 200,000.
A MALFUNCTIONING CHECK VALVE WITHIN THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY CAUSES A PORTION OF THE UNUSED FUEL FROM ONE TANK TO BE RETURNED TO THE SECOND TANK. WHEN THIS OCCURS, THE CAPACITY OF THE SECOND TANK CAN BE EXCEEDED, CAUSING FUEL SPILLAGE.
3 REPLACEMENTS OF THE CLOCK SPRING IN THE STEERING COLUMN OF A 1994 FORD F-150 PICKUP TRUCK. THE HORN STOPS WORKING AND THE WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASH COMES ON FOR FAULTY AIRBAG. A FORD TECHNICIAN INFORMED ME THE AIRBAG MAY NOT PROPERLY DEPLOY IF NOT CORRECTED. CONTINUED PROBLEMS WITH THE SAME PART SEEMS TO INDICATE A MANUFACTURER'S PROBLEM. WHEN ACCELERATING TO MERGE ONTO THE FREEWAY, THE THROTTLE (PEDAL) SUDDENLY MOVED OF ITS OWN ACCORD TO A COMPLETELY FULL THROTTLE POSITION. THE PEDAL MOVED ON ITS OWN FROM BENEATH MY FOOT, JUST AS IT WOULD IF THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS ENGAGED. IT STAYED IN THIS STUCK POSITION WHILE MEANWHILE, TO KEEP THE VEHICLE UNDER CONTROL, I STOOD ON THE BRAKE TO AVOID ACCELERATING TO TOP SPEED. BY CONSTANT APPLICATION OF THE BRAKE I WAS ABLE TO KEEP THE VEHICLE SPEED AT AROUND 85 MPH, BUT NOT WITHOUT EXTREME EFFORT. MEANWHILE I TRIED PUSHING ALL OF THE CRUISE CONTROL SWITCHES, WITH NO EFFECT. I ALSO TRIED PUMPING THE BRAKE IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET THE CRUISE CONTROL RELEASE SWITCH TO ACTIVATE, BUT IT DIDN'T HELP. I ALSO TRIED SHIFTING TO NEUTRAL BUT THE ENGINE WAS OBVIOUSLY GOING TO REDLINE SO I PUT IT BACK IN DRIVE. I CONTINUED THIS WAY FOR SEVERAL MILES. TRAFFIC WAS LUCKILY LIGHT ENOUGH THAT I WAS ABLE TO AVOID OTHER VEHICLES. I WAS AT THE POINT OF HAVING TO PULL OVER AND SWITCH THE IGNITION OFF WHEN THERE WAS A LOUD "POPPING" SOUND FROM UNDER THE DASH (STRAIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DRIVER). WHEN THE "POP" OCCURRED THE THROTTLE RELEASED AND I WAS ABLE TO CONTROL IT NORMALLY. BY THEN MY BRAKES WERE SMOKING AND ALMOST ON-FIRE. THIS OCCURRED TWICE. THE FIRST TIME WAS ON MARCH 17, 2009 AND THE SECOND WAS ON MARCH 27. THE FIRST TIME IT CLEARED ITSELF AFTER A COUPLE OF MILES. THE SECOND TIME WAS MUCH WORSE AND LASTED FOR AT LEAST FIVE OR SIX MILES. I TOOK THE VEHICLE IN TO THE DEALER (LA POINT FORD, SALT LAKE CITY) AFTER IT OCCURRED ON THE 27TH. THE MECHANIC COULD FIND NO PROBLEM WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL TESTS THAT HE RAN. THEY SUGGESTED DISCONNECTING THE CRUISE CONTROL TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM WOULD STILL OCCUR, JUST IN CASE IT WAS THE ENGINE COMPUTER RATHER THAN THE CRUISE CONTROL. HOPEFULLY I WILL SURVIVE THE TEST. LUCKILY BOTH TIMES IT HAPPENED I WASN'T NEAR ANOTHER CAR. HAD I BEEN, I WOULD HAVE RUN INTO THEM BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO REACT. IF THIS OCCURS TO OTHERS SOMEONE WILL BE KILLED. *TR
FUEL CROSS FLOW PROBLEM.. FORD HAD A RECALL ON VEHICLES WITH PROBLEMS OF FUEL PUMPING INTO AN ALREADY FULL TANK WITH A TWO FUEL TANK SYSTEM. CHECK VALVES NOT OPERATING CORRECTLY AND FUEL WOULD BE PUMPED ONTO THE GROUND FROM THE VEHICLE. FORD CORRECTED THE PROBLEM WITH CERTAIN YEARS OF VEHICLES INCLUDING ONE OF MY PERSONAL VEHICLES . MY SON NOW WHO ALSO OWNS A SIMILAR VEHICLE THEY WILL NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM WITH AND IT IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AS IT PUSHES FUEL (GASOLINE) ONTO THE GROUND AND INTO THE GARAGE WHERE IT BECOMES A POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD. FORD HAS BEEN CONTACTED AND REFUSE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *TR
