TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 3 MPH, THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED A LOUD POP FROM THE ENGINE AS THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO LOSE POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THAT A SPARK PLUG FRACTURED FROM THE ENGINE AND TORE AN ENGINE COIL. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 95,800.
STARTING FROM A STOPLIGHT, I HEARD A SUDDEN POP AND SMELLED GAS. LOUD CLICKING OR POPPING NOISE CAUSED ME TO TURN AROUND AND HEAD STRAIGHT TO THE DEALER. THEY SAID A SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT, DAMAGING THE COIL. INITIAL ESTIMATE OF $500 GREW TO $3600 AS THEY SAID THEN THAT THE HEAD WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO DAMAGE THERE AS WELL. RESEARCHING THIS PROBLEM, IT APPEARS THAT THERE ARE QUITE A FEW (MANY MANY MANY) FORD OWNERS WITH THIS PROBLEM! WHY IS THERE NO RECALL? IMMEDIATE SAFETY OR NOT, THIS IS AN OBVIOUS DEFECT. *TR
FORD F150 HAD A RECALLED BACK IN 2005 WITH THE SPEED CONTROL WERE THE DEACTIVATION SWITCH MAY OVERHEAT, SMOKE OR BURN. WAS INSTRUCTED TO TAKE TO DEALER TO DISCONNECT UNTIL PARTS COME IN WAS NOTIFIED ON NEW PARTS WERE AVAILABLE WHICH WERE INSTALL. AUG 21 2010 THE BRAKE PRESSURE SWITCH STARTED LEAKING AND RUNNING FROM MY MASTER CYLINDER BRAKE PRESSURE SWITCH. THIS WAS PART OF THE PROBLEM FROM THE VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL SWITCH PART THAT WAS LEAKING. COULD NOT BUY PART FROM AUTO PART STORE. *TR
GAS TANK STRAPS BROKE, GAS TANK FELL ONTO PAVEMENT. HAD MY TRUCK TOWED TO MY FORD DEALER WHERE THEY REPLACED THE STRAPS FOR ABOUT $200. IF THIS HAD HAPPENED 5 MINUTES LATER, I WOULD HAVE BEEN GOING 60 MPH! UPDATED 09/14/11 *BF *TR THE TANK FELL TO THE GROUND, WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS SITTING. THERE WAS NO FUEL SPILL. THE DEALER REPLACED THE STRAPS. UPDATED 09/21/11
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. WHILE TRAVELING 20 MPH, THE FRONTAL DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INVOLVED IN A CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS NEITHER DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 120,000.
OUR 02 FORD F150 CAUGHT FIRE IN OUR DRIVEWAY WHILE WE WERE NOT HOME AND WAS DESTROYED. THIS WAS 3 DAYS AFTER BEING OPERATED. THE FIRE WAS LOCATED ABOVE THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE AT THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR. OUR NEIGHBOR SAW FIRE AND WAS ABLE TO SAVE OUR BOAT AND HOME BY COMBATING THE FLAMES WHILE WAITING FOR 911 TO RESPOND. OUR INSURANCE COMPANY CALLED IT A TOTAL LOSS. WE CALLED FORD TO SEE IF OUR VIN NUMBER HAD RECALLS, AND THEY SAID YES, FOR THE CRUISE CONTROL MODULE. WE NEVER RECEIVED NOTICE FROM FORD REGARDING A RECALL!!! WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE UP TO THIS POINT. THE FIRE CHIEF SAID THAT IF MY NEIGHBOR WOULD NOT HAVE SEEN THE FIRE WE WOULD HAVE LOST EVERYTHING. *TR
2002 FORD WINDSTAR REAR AXLE PROBLEM WE WERE DRIVING ON 78E AND WERE APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES BEFORE ALLENTOWN. ALL OF A SUDDEN WE HEARD A CRACK, SMELLED SMOKE, AND HEARD METAL SCRAPING. THE CAR STARTED FISHTAILING AND MY HUSBAND VIRTUALLY HAD NO CONTROL OF THE CAR AS THE WINDSTAR REPEATEDLY CROSSED 2 LANES AND ALMOST HIT THE MIDDLE BARRIER AND THEN FISHTAILED TOWARD THE OTHER SIDE. LUCKILY THERE WERE NO CARS OR TRUCKS IN FRONT OR IN BACK OF US AND WE WERE AT A SLIGHT UPHILL. FINALLY, MY HUSBAND WAS ABLE TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE VAN AND PULL OVER TO THE SMALL SHOULDER WHICH WAS BARELY BIG ENOUGH TO FIT THE VAN. WE CALLED 911 AND AAA. WHILE WE WAITED ON THE SIDE, WE FEARED THAT WE COULD GET HIT IN THE EVENT THAT A TRUCK OR CAR SWERVED TO THE SIDE. WE WERE SHOCKED TO FIND OUT THAT THE REAR AXLE WAS CRACKED AND THE REAR TIRES WERE CAVED IN. MY AUTO DEALER GILBOY IN WHITEHALL OFFERED TO TOW AND REPAIR THE PROBLEM, BUT ONLY AT MY EXPENSE. FORD EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THERE WAS NO COVERAGE FOR THIS SITUATION BECAUSE THE VEHICLE IS OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY AND THERE CURRENTLY IS NO RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM. BOTH GILBOY AND FORD TOLD ME THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM WITH THE REAR AXLE. I HAD 3 CHILDREN IN THE CAR, 2 OF WHICH WERE MY OWN. THIS WAS THE SCARIEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE AS I FEARED WHAT POTENTIALLY COULD HAPPEN. LUCKILY, SOMEONE FROM ABOVE WAS LOOKING AFTER US BUT I FEAR THE NEXT FORD WINDSTAR OWNER MAY NOT BE SO LUCKY. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO GET KILLED BEFORE TAKING ACTION. PLEASE HAVE THE PROBLEM CORRECTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND ALERT ALL FORD WINDSTAR OWNER OF THE SERIOUS POTENTIAL RISK. *TR
I WAS FOLLOWING THE FORD RULES FOR WHEN TO REPLACE SPARK PLUGS AT 100,000 MILES. I HAVE 99,860 MILES ON MY 2002 FORD F150 XLT 4.6L TRITON V8 MOTOR. I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM GETTING THE NEW PLUGS FROM THE AUTO STORE TO REPLACE WHEN I HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE A GUN GOING OFF. ONE OF THE SPARK PLUGS FIRED OUT OF ITS LOCATION RIPPING OFF THE COIL PACK HITTING MY FAN BLADE ON THE TRUCK. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE AS I HAVE BEEN READING. THE FUEL COULD HAVE BEEN IGNITED BY THE COIL PACK CAUSING A FIRE OR WORSE. WHAT IS BEING DONE ABOUT THIS DEFECT AND WHY HAS THEIR NOT BEEN A RECALL ON THE FORD MOTORS? *TR
A 2002 FORD F-150 STRUCK A 1996 CHEVY BLAZER IN THE RIGHT REAR, THERE FOR HAVING DAMAGE TO THE FRONT AND FRONT LEFT QUARTER PANEL OF THE F-150. THE IMPACT WAS HARD ENOUGH TO ROLL THE BLAZER OVER ON TO ITS TOP. MY CONCERN IS THAT THE AIR BAGS IN BOTH VEHICLES DID NOT DEPLOY THE F-150 WAS TRAVELING AT A SPEED OF +40MPH AT THE TIME OF IMPACT, THE BLAZER WAS AT A PARKED STOP. *TR
I HAVE A 2002 F-150 HARLEY-DAVIDSON EDITION SUPERCREW PICK UP TRUCK AND JUST HAD MY NUMBER 3 SPARK PLUG BLOWN OUT IT DESTROYED THE COIL PACK THE PLUG AND BOOT THE VEHICLE HAS 121,556 MILES. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. WHILE TRAVELING AT 25 MPH, THERE WAS AN UNUSUAL POP FROM THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. IMMEDIATELY, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL AIR PRESSURE RELEASE SOUND. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE ENGINE HEAD WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THERE WERE NO PRIOR WARNINGS OF THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 106,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT WOULD ILLUMINATE AT ANY TIME. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS RELATED TO THIS FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. I HAVE HAD TWO SPARKPLUGS EJECTED FROM MY TRUCK MOTOR. I HAVE A FORD TRUCK. IT HAS HAPPENED TWICE IN TWO YEARS WITH PLUGS THAT WERE IN IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT NEW FROM A FORD DEALER, WITH FORD CERTIFIED MECHANICS. 2 OUT OF 8 IS A 25 % FAILURE RATE. *TR
MY FATHER OWNS A 2002 FORD F150 PICK-UP TRUCK. THE PASSENGER SIDE SEATBELT FREQUENTLY COMES UNDONE. I HAVE SEARCHED FOR RECALLS ON THIS BUT I HAVE FOUND NOTHING. 2002 F-150 HISTORY - HAVE HAD TO REPLACE 4 COILS. 2 WERE BURNED OUT AND 2 WERE DAMAGED FROM THE SPARK PLUG BLOWING OUT THE HOLE, THIS LAST TIME JUST RECENTLY (JUNE 2010). *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING AT 55 MPH, THE SPARK PLUG FAILED. THE CONTACT CALLED AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP AND THE DEALER STATED THAT THE SPARK PLUG DID NOT CALL FOR REPAIR UNTIL 100,000 MILES. THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENT METALS INTERACTING WITH EACH OTHER WHICH WOULD CAUSE THE SPARK PLUGS TO FAIL AND STATED THAT THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 89,533. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,520.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 F-150. HE STATED THAT ON JUNE 2, 2010, THE SEAT BELT FOR THE DRIVER SIDE AND THE MIDDLE SEAT FAILED. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE SEAT BELT WOULD HAVE TO BE REPAIRED AT HIS EXPENSE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 147,000.

SPARK PLUG BLOWOUT OF THE CYLINDER HEAD ON A FORD 5.4 TRITON MOTOR. MANY HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH A BAD DESIGN BY FORD. IT MAKES THESE FORD VEHICLES NON RELIABLE BECAUSE IT COULD LEAVE YOU STRANDED AWAY FROM HOME WITH NO ONE TO FIX THE PROBLEM LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. *TR
MY DAUGHTER WAS ROUNDING A CORNER IN HER FORD F150 KING RANCH TRUCK MAKE A HARD PULL TO THE RIGHT AND SHE TRIED TO CORRECT IT AT THAT TIME HER TRUCK BEGAN TO FLIP OVER TWICE. SHE ENDED UP IN A 10FT UPSIDE DOWN TOTALED HER TRUCK AND BROKE HER COLLAR BONE. THERE WAS A WRECKER DRIVER ON THE SCENE THAT NOTICE THE REAR AXLE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OF HER TRUCK HAD BROKE IN HALF AT THE TIRE. SPOKE WITH THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND THEY SAID THERE SON HAD COMPLAINED TO THEM ABOUT A NOISE IN THE REAR END BUT THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. *TR
FORD TRITON V8-4.6L SPARK PLUG EJECTION ON #2 PLUG. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED TO ME AS I WAS DRIVING AT 60MPH AND IT BLEW IT OUT AND THE COIL SPRING IS NOW DOWN ON TOP OF THE PISTON AND SMASHED WITHIN SECONDS. TOWED TO FORD DEALERSHIP AND MECHANIC ADMITTED THIS WAS COMMON BUT NO RECALLS. HE SCOPED THE CYLINDER WITH BORE SCOPE TO FIND THE COIL SPRING SMASHED SO BAD IT COULD NOT BE RETRIEVED. ESTIMATED COST IS $3500.00 PLUS REMOVE HEAD AND CLEAN OUT. CAN I CLAIM THIS BACK TO FORD? *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP WHERE THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOUND A CRACK IN THE REAR ALUMINUM WHEEL RIMS. THE MANUFACTURE WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED TAKING THE VEHICLE TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR FURTHER INSPECTION. THE DEALER ADVISED THE OWNER WOULD BE LIABLE FOR THE REPAIR COSTS. AUTO FIRE: RESIDENT HEARD CAR HORN SOUNDING, CAME OUT AND SAW 2002 FORD F-150 SMOKING. OPENED DOOR AND AIR ENTERING VEHICLE STARTED FLAMES TO GROW. NEIGHBOR EXTINGUISHED WITH DRY CHEMICAL. APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN SMOLDERING FOR SOMETIME, DUE TO HEAVY SMOKED GLASS IN CAB INTERIOR AND MELTED DASH COMPARTMENT. RESIDENT HAD LAST DRIVEN VEHICLE AT 7PM, MONDAY NIGHT. TRUCK DASH IS EXTENSIVELY DAMAGED. FIRE ORIGINATED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DASHBOARD. VIN # HAS NO RECALLS. REPORTED TO FIRE DEPARTMENT. *TR
FORD F150 TRUCK, FIRE FROM CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH. THE TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN IN OVER 24 HRS. IT CAUGHT ON FIRE (UNDER THE HOOD ONLY)IN OUR DRIVEWAY. WE USED A WATER HOSE TO EXTINGUISH IT QUICKLY. NOT SURE HOW MANY PARTS HAVE BEEN DAMAGED FROM FIRE. LUCKILY WE CAUGHT IT BEFORE ANY MAJOR DAMAGE OCCURRED. THIS SWITCH WAS REPLACED 3 WEEKS AGO AT A FORD DEALER DUE TO LAST FORD RECALL. HOWEVER THE LAST TIME THE TRUCK WAS DRIVEN THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS USED. *TR

AFTER IT SPENT 3 DAYS IN THE DEALERSHIP TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM, IT THEN BLEW THE #2 PLUG THE VERY SAME NIGHT I PICKED IT UP ON 4/7. NOW I HAVE FOUND THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON AND WELL KNOWN PROBLEM IN THE 1997 TO 2008 FOR ENGINES WITH ALUMINUM HEAD THREADS. FORD IS NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS DESIGN FLAW. IT IS A HUG PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY 2002 FORD F150 WITH A 4.6L TRITON V8 AT 65 MILES PER HOUR, WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY MOTOR MADE A LOUD BANG AND THE WAS BANGING NON STOP. I WAS UNABLE TO PULL OVER IMEDIATLY BECAUSE I WAS ON THE PA TURNPIKE AT A NARROW POINT. I PULLED OVER A LITTLE DOWN THE ROAD AND AFTER A EXSPENSIVE TOW I LEARNED THAT THE #3 SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT OF THE CYLINDER HEAD. THE MECHANIC FIRST TRIED TO REPAIR IT WITH A SELF TAPPING SPARKPLUG REPALCEMEN THREAD BUT THE DAMAGE WAS TO EXTENSIVE. NOW HE IS GOING TO TRY A HELI COIL IF THAT DOESN'T WORK I'M TOLD I WILL NEED A NEW HEAD.

ON FEBRUARY 26, 2010 MY GIRLFRIEND AND I ALONG WITH OUR KIDS WERE DRIVING TO SAN DIEGO, CA. AS WE WERE SPEEDING UP TO PASS A SLOW SEMI-TRUCK MY TRUCK GOT STUCK ON THROTTLE, I STARTED TO PANIC ASKING MY GIRLFRIEND TO CHECK AND SEE IF THERE WAS A WATER BOTTLE STUCK UNDERNEATH THE BREAK PEDAL, SHE CHECKED, ALSO PANICKING BECAUSE WE HAD OUR CHILDREN ASLEEP IN THE TRUCK. I TRIED TO PUSH ON THE BRAKE BUT IT WAS REALLY TOUGH TO PUSH DOWN ON AND THE TRUCK WOULDN'T SLOW DOWN, WE STARTED TO PANIC EVEN MORE. I STARTED DRIVING OFF TO THE SHOULDER OF THE RODE AS I POPPED THE GEAR INTO NEUTRAL AND TURNED OFF THE TRUCK. I PUT THE TRUCK IN PARK AND TURNED IT BACK ON AFTER A FEW MINUTES AND THE RPM'S WHERE REVVING AT 6,000 AND THE BREAK PEDAL WAS STILL VERY HARD TO PUSH ON. I TURNED THE TRUCK OFF AGAIN. I STARTED PUSHING ON THE GAS PEDAL, TO SEE IF I COULD LOOSEN IT, WHILE THE TRUCK REMAINED OFF. I TURNED IT BACK ON FOR THE SECOND TIME AND IT WAS RUNNING NORMAL AGAIN. I HESITATED PUT IT BACK IN DRIVE. IT SEEMED TO BE RUNNING FINE SO WE WERE BACK ON THE ROAD. MY GIRLFRIEND AND I WERE PRETTY SHAKEN UP UNTIL WE GOT TO OUR DESTINATION IN SAN DIEGO. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE. I HAVEN'T TAKEN MY TRUCK IN TO GET CHECKED TO SEE WHAT COULD OF CAUSED THAT TO HAPPEN DUE TO FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AT THE MOMENT. 2002 FORD F150. 4X4. 5.4 L V8. DRIVERS SIDE LEAKY WINDSHIELD. LEAK CAUSES CORROSION OF ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS UNDER DASH. THE GEM MODULE; WHICH CONTROLS MOST ALL ELECTRONICS ON THE DASH; RADION, 4X4, WIPERS, HEADLIGHTS CONTROLS, HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING CONTROLS. DUE TO THE CORROSION OR THE GEM MODULE AND FUSE BOX ON DRIVERS SIDE OF VEHICLE THE STARTER WILL RANDOMLY ENGAGE ITSELF AS WELL. MANY OF THE RELAYS UNDER THE DASH ARE UNDER ABNORMAL CONDITIONS. DURING THE MALFUNCTION OF THE ABOVE TWO ITEMS THE RELAYS WILL "CHATTER" CONSTANTLY. ALL OF THE ABOVE CONDITIONS WILL HAPPEN WITH THE KEYS OUT OF THE IGNITION. WITH NO KEYS IN THE IGNITION THE FAN BLOWER WILL STILL RUN, HEADLIGHTS STAY ON ( IN AUTO POSITION). NUMEROUS OTHER ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. SEAT BELT BUCKLE - RECEIVER END INTERMITTENTLY RELEASES WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, WHEN COMING TO A SHORT STOP, OR MAKING A HARD RIGHT OR LEFT TURN. I CHECK EVERY TIME I AM IN VEHICLE THAT MY SEAT BELT IS SECURELY FASTENED AND IT IS, BUT I CAN BE DRIVING ALONG AND I HEAR A "CLICK" AND IT HAS RELEASED ON IT'S OWN. NOTHING IS PRESSING ON THE RED RELEASE BUTTON AND AREA IS KEPT CLEAR FOR THAT REASON. I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY YESTERDAY AND WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED HAD TO STOP RAPIDLY. THE SEAT BELT BUCKLE RELEASED ON IT'S OWN AND I NEARLY SLAMMED INTO THE STEERING WHEEL. I HAVE SPOKEN TO FORD MOTOR COMPANY WHO STATES THAT THE SEAT BELT BUCKLES HAVE A 50,000 MILE/5 YEAR WARRANTY AND, UNLESS THERE IS A RECALL, THEY WILL NOT COVER THE COST OF REPAIR. I HAVE READ ON FORD TRUCK FORUMS MANY REPORTS OF THIS OCCURRING TO OTHER OWNERS OF THIS YEAR AND MODEL, AND THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE 2001 SEAT BELT BUCKLES BUT NOT ON THE 2002. WHAT WILL IT TAKE FOR THE DOT TO ISSUES A RECALL - EVEN 1 DEATH WOULD BE TOO MANY! MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD COST BETWEEN $150-$200 WITH LABOR TO REPLACE THE PART, BUT IF THE PART IS DEFECTIVE, I DON'T WANT THE SAME THING PUT IN THE VEHICLE! THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR RECALL REPAIRS AND HE WAS INFORMED BY THE DEALER THAT THERE WERE NO FAILURES WITHIN THE COMPONENT AT THAT TIME AND REPAIRS WERE NOT NEEDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT MOST RECENTLY, THE CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH FAILED. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT REPAIRS WOULD NOT BE PERFORMED UNDER RECALL BECAUSE HE HAD PREVIOUSLY RECEIVED RECALL REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THAT ACCORDING TO THEIR RECORDS, THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AUGUST 2010. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NEVER REPAIRED UNDER THE RECALL AND THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE REFUSING TO HONOR THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 147,000.

THE FAILURE PERSISTED AND UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, HE FOUND THAT THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WAS LEAKING ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE ONTO THE FUSE PANEL. THE LOCAL FORD DEALER ADVISED HIM TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE. NO REPAIRS WERE MADE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE UNDER 85,000.

I'M SURE FORD DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT THESE VEHICLES. SO I CONTACTED FORD DIRECTLY AND WAS TOLD THE SAME THING EVERYONE ELSE IS BEING TOLD ACROSS THE COUNTRY SORRY CANT HELP YOU!!
