TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS SET AT 45 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE JERKED ABNORMALLY. IN ADDITION, WHEN THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS SET TO 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE WOULD EXHIBIT A LOUD NOISE IN THE REAR AREA. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE FAILURE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE CHARGE AIR COOLER HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED AND THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING AS NORMAL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 2,600.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD F150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH IN RAIN WEATHER, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT. THE CONTACT MOVED THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER BECAUSE IT HAD ENGAGED INTO LIMP MODE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO REGAIN SPEED ONCE HE DROVE AWAY FROM THE SHOULDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED WHENEVER IT RAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY ADVISED THAT THERE WAS WATER IN THE ENGINE AND THE SPARK PLUGS HAD BECOME DAMAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND THAT THEY WERE WORKING ON A REMEDY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 768. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TRAVELING WEST ON I-20 IN TX FOR SEVERAL HOURS THROUGH RAIN/MIST/FOGGY CONDITIONS. EXITED THE HIGHWAY FOR FUEL. UPON REENTERING THE HIGHWAY AND ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE TO SPEED, TRUCK BEGAN SHAKING VIOLENTLY AND DID NOT RESPOND TO INPUTS FROM THE THROTTLE. I WAS ABLE TO SPEED UP TO ABOUT 45MPH BEFORE THE ENGINE PROBLEM DEVELOPED. LUCKILY I HAD A SHOULDER TO PULL OVER ON AS I HAD ENTERED THE INTERSTATE AHEAD OF A TRACTOR-TRAILER COMBO WHO WAS DOING THE SPEED LIMIT AND APPROACHING MY REAR BUMPER VERY QUICKLY. AFTER THE ENGINE BEGAN MISFIRING AT ABOUT 45 MPH, I COULD NOT INCREASE SPEED, I WAS ONLY ABLE TO SLOW DOWN AND PULL OFF ONTO THE SHOULDER. DURING THE INCIDENT, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED, BEGAN FLASHING UNTIL THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP ON THE SHOULDER, THEN REMAINED ILLUMINATED UNTIL THE TRUCK WAS RESTARTED 5 TIMES ON THE SHOULDER. *TR
WHILE DRIVING IN A STRAIGHT LINE ON US 395 NORTH BOUND, NORTH OF PEARSONVILLE, CA, THE STEERING BEGAN TO FEEL LOOSE WITH A "CLUNK" OR "POPPING" THAT COULD BE FELT IN THE STEERING WHEEL. THIS WAS VERY CONCERNING, AND ANNOYING, AND LASTED FOR 3 HOURS UNTIL I ARRIVED AT MY DESTINATION. THE OUTSIDE AIR TEMP WAS ABOUT 90 DEGREES, AND THIS "CLUNK" BECOMES MORE PRONOUNCED AS THE TEMPERATURE RISES. I HAVE SERIOUS CONCERNS WITH THIS NEW ELECTRONIC POWER ASSIST STEERING (EPAS) AND THE POTENTIAL FOR TOTAL STEERING FAILURE. FORD HAD SERIOUS ISSUES WITH THE 2011 EXPLORER EPAS, AND NOW THE NEW F150 (BEGINNING WITH 2011 MODEL) WITH EPAS IS BEGINNING TO SHOW THE SAME PROBLEM. I WAS AT PERRY FORD IN POWAY, CA YESTERDAY, AND THE SERVICE WRITER STATED THAT TWO NEW F150'S LOST ALL STEERING CONTROL. THE ONLINE FORUM, WWW.F150FORUM.COM, HAS HUNDREDS OF NEW F150 OWNERS WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT. MANY HAVE HAD TOTAL STEERING RACK REPLACEMENTS ONLY TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM COME BACK IN A FEW THOUSAND MILES. I LIMIT MY DRIVING WITH THIS VEHICLE (ONLY 3,012 MI.) AFTER ONE YEAR OF OWNERSHIP. I REFUSE TO WASTE MY TIME WITH A RACK REPLACEMENT AS FORD HAS MADE NO MODIFICATIONS OR CHANGES TO THE ORIGINAL DESIGN. THE VENDOR FOR THIS EPAS UNIT IS NEXTEER. I HAVE CONTACTED NEXTEER AND RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. I OPENED A CASE WITH FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE. MY PERSONAL SAFETY, THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS KEEPS ME OFF THE ROAD UNTIL FORD ACKNOWLEDGES THE PROBLEM AND FINDS A FIX. WHILE CRUISING AT 65 MPH ON THE INTERSTATE, HEAVY ACCELERATION WAS APPLIED TO PASS AN 18-WHEELER. AT ABOUT 75% THROTTLE AND WHEN THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION DOWNSHIFTED INTO SECOND GEAR, THE TRUCK BEGAN VIBRATING VIOLENTLY AND A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT APPEARED, BLINKING. IMMEDIATELY LETTING OFF THE THROTTLE, THE TRUCK SHIFTED BACK TO SIXTH GEAR AND STOPPED VIBRATING. A FEW SECONDS GO BY AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STOPPED BLINKING. ONCE I PRESSED THE THROTTLE AGAIN, IT VIBRATED VIOLENTLY AGAIN, THEN STOPPED SHORTLY AFTER. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYED SOLID. *TR
EPAS STEERING FAILURE. WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN THE EPAS ELECTRONIC POWER ASSIST STEERING STOPPED WORKING. THOUGH WE KEPT TURNING THE WHEEL, TRUCK DID NOT MAKE THE TURN, IT SEEMED TO BE TRYING TO TURN AND TURNING SLOWLY. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE EPAS STARTED WORKING AGAIN. TRUCK SHOOK AND JERKED, AS THE EPAS TRIED TO CORRECT FOR STEERING INPUT. BRAKES WERE APPLIED TO EMERGENCY STOP THE TRUCK AND TRUCK ENDED UP OFF THE ROAD, ON TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. *TR
MULTIPLE WARNINGS TO SERVICE ADVANCE TRACK, A FORD MOTOR COMPANY ROLL STABILITY CONTROL AND STABILITY ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM. DEALER HAS REPLACED THE ADVANCE TRACK "MODULE" TWICE WITHOUT CORRECTING THE PROBLEM. WARNING NOTIFICATION OCCURS ALMOST DAILY WITH AS MANY A THREE WARNINGS IN A SINGLE DAY. DEALER SAYS THAT MY F150 CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE HAVING THIS PROBLEM AND THEY WILL CONTACT ME WHEN THEY FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO TO FIX IT! I AM CONCERNED FOR MY PERSONAL SAFETY IN THIS MATTER. *TR
2012 FORD F150 WITH ECOBOOST - DRIVING BACK TO NY FROM MAINE - HIT RAIN IN VERMONT - TRIED TO PASS A VEHICLE ON HIGHWAY - TRUCK LOST POWER - BOGGED DOWN - STUTTERING ALONG. HAD TO QUICKLY PULL OVER TO SLOW LANE TO AVOID HAVING ACCIDENT WITH VEHICLES COMING UP FROM BEHIND - VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. MY DAUGHTER HAS THE SAME TRUCK SHE HAD SAME PROBLEM IN JULY. IN RESEARCHING ONLINE HAVE FOUND THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE WITH THE ECOBOOST. DEALER WAS UNAWARE THAT THERE HAVE BEEN ANY ISSUES WITH THIS ENGINE. MY DAUGHTER FOUND ON FORD FORUMS AND THIS SITE THAT FORD ISSUED THE TSB 12-6-4 THAT IS SUPPOSE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. THE DEALER PLACED THE SHIELD ON THE INTERCOOLER AND RESET THE COMPUTER - TIME WILL TELL IF THIS WILL WORK BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED. *TR
I PURCHASED MY F-150 ECOBOOST, ON JULY 28, 2012. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASING IT, I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THE ENGINE. OFTEN WHEN IT RAINS, THE TRUCK WILL NOT START OR WHEN IT DOES START, IT REFUSES TO GO OR WHEN IT IS GOING, IT WILL NOT ACCELERATE. WHEN I ATTEMPT TO PASS A SLOW VEHICLE, THERE IS NO POWER. THE ENGINE BOGGS DOWN, TO AN IDLE. THE TRUCK HAS LEFT ME STRANDED NUMEROUS TIMES. I TOOK MY FAMILY ON A TRIP TO MIAMI, FLORIDA, DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY. ON THE OPEN ROAD THE MOTOR QUIT. I WAS ABLE TO LIMP IT INTO A FORD DEALER, WHO HAD TO PERFORM EXTENSIVE ENGINE REPAIRS IN ABLE TO GET THE TRUCK RUNNING AGAIN. WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT BACK TO TENNESSEE, AFTER 3 WEEKS OF REPAIRS, IT HAPPENED SEVERAL MORE TIMES. WHEN I ATTEMPT TO PASS SLOWER VEHICLES, I TRY TO ACCELERATE AND THERE IS NO POWER. IT IS DANGEROUS, PARTICULAR WHEN TRAVELING ON 2 LANE COUNTRY ROADS WITH HILLS. OFTEN, WHEN I PARK AND EXIT THE TRUCK, THERE IS A STRONG ODOR OF GAS COMING FROM SOMEWHERE UNDER THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE. THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD. ON 2 OCCASIONS, THE DRIVER'S SEAT HAS COME UNATTACHED FROM THE FLOOR OF THE TRUCK. THIS MORNING, I WENT TO TAKE MY CHILDREN TO SCHOOL I WAS DRIVING AND HEARD/FELT THUMPING AND THE SEAT FELL BACK, I WAS NEARLY LAYING ON MY BACK, WHILE DRIVING. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND SCARY, WHEN IT HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. THE FORD CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY FLIPPED AND SEEMED TO BE MORE CONCERNED WITH ENSURING THAT I UNDERSTOOD THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY THAN THE SAFETY OF MY VEHICLE. I WAS INSULTED AND HUMILIATED, FOR SUGGESTING THEY PROVIDE ME WITH SOMETHING TO DRIVE WHILE THEY CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED, IT TOOK 3 WEEKS TO FIX. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE, I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE TO DRIVE. TO DATE THE BEST FUEL MILEAGE I HAVE GOTTEN IS 13.2 MILES PER GALLON. *TR

AFTER MY FORD F150 WITH THE ECO-BOOST ENGINE IS OUT IN THE RAIN, WHEN I ACCELERATE ON THE ROAD THE TRUCK SPUTTERS AND SHAKES AND THERE IS A LOSE OF POWER. THIS HAS HAPPENED SINCE I BOUGHT THE TRUCK NEW.

DRIVING TURNPIKE AT 1:30AM WITH WET ROADS BUT NOT RAINING. CRUISE CONTROL WAS ENGAGED AT 75 MPH. APPROACHING A BRIDGE AND UPON STARTING TO CLIMB ON THE INCLINE I HEARD A NOISE THAT SOUNDED LIKE THE TRANSMISSION HAD DISENGAGED THEN THE ENGINE LIGHT STARTED PULSATING ON AND OFF SO I TRIED TO ACCELERATE AND THE TRUCK DID NOT REACT BUT SINCE I WAS GOING 75 IT TOOK ME OVER THE BRIDGE AND THEN I COASTED DOWN THE BRIDGE WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL DISENGAGED. I PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE AND PLACED TRUCK IN PARK THE ENGINE WAS STILL ON. I TURNED OFF THE TRUCK AND WAITED ABOUT 1 MINUTE THEN I TURNED THE KEY BACK ON AND THE TRUCK STARTED UP WITH NO ENGINE LIGHT OR ANY SIGN OF PROBLEMS. I DROVE ALL THE WAY TO MIAMI WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENTS. I TOOK THE TRUCK TO FORD OF HOMESTEAD AND THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT PULL A CODE OUT OF THE COMPUTER THAT SHOWED ANYTHING HAD HAPPENED. I LATER TOOK THE TRUCK AGAIN THIS TIME MAKING NOISES WHEN U ACCELERATED IT SOUNDED LIKE THE TRANSMISSION WAS SHUDDERING AND AGAIN NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO REPLICATE IT. AGAIN ON OR AROUND MARCH 2013 I TOOK THE TRUCK TO ANOTHER FORD DEALER AND TRIED TO REPLICATE THE SHUDDERING BETWEEN 3 OR 4 TH GEAR TO NO AVAIL. THE TRUCK THIS PAST WEEKEND ON THE SAME BRIDGE AGAIN WITH WET ROADS MADE THE SHUDDERING SOUND AND FEELING BUT THE ENGINE LIGHT DID NOT COME ON AND THE TRUCK UPON GETTING TO THE TOP OF THE BRIDGE CONTINUED WITHOUT HAVING TO BE TURNED OFF AND ON. AT FIRST I THOUGHT THIS MIGHT BE A TRANSMISSION ISSUE BUT WHENEVER I GUESS THE TRUCK ACCELERATES TO GAIN SPEED TO GO OVER THE BRIDGE OR AFTER LEAVING A STOP OR RED LIGHT BETWEEN 3 OR 4 TH GEARS IT SHUDDERS AND WHEN THE BRIDGE COMES AROUND IT GOES TO A LOWER GEAR AND STARTS LOSING POWER. WHEN IT HAPPENS BETWEEN 3 OR 4TH GEARS IT IS WITH ME ACCELERATING. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE TRUCK HAS A MEMORY IF YOU DRIVE IT HARD OR SOFTLY IT REMEMBERS THIS AND SHIFTS DIFFERENTLY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE UNDERCARRIAGE SHIELD DROPPED TO THE GROUND. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE UNDERCARRIAGE SHIELD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
TRAVELED FROM BENTON, LA TO LITTLE ROCK AR. WAS DRIVING DOWN TWO LANE HIGHWAY AT 55 MPH IN THE RAIN. HAD TO COME TO STOP AS A VEHICLE WAS TURNING LEFT. UPON ACCELERATING VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE PAST 15 MPH. WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO SHOULDER. TURNED OFF VEHICLE AND REMOVED KEY. RESTARTED ENGINE. VEHICLE WOULD ONLY RUN APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH. DROVE TO NEXT TOWN ABOUT 10 MILES AWAY. STOPPED AT GAS STATION FOR APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR. SINCE IT WAS LATE IN THE EVENING WE HAD TO CONTINUE TRAVELING. TRUCK THEN WOULD RUN ABOUT 70 MPH DOWN THE INTERSTATE, BUT ANY ACCELERATION WOULD CAUSE THE TRUCK TO HESITATE, SHAKE, AND LOOSE POWER. ONLY EXTREMELY EASY ACCELERATION WOULD WORK. NO DOWN SHIFTING POSSIBLE. TRUCK WAS DIAGNOSED AT CHENAL FORD IN LITTLE ROCK AR. FOUND TO HAVE WATER IN THE ENGINE FROM ENTERING THE TURBO CHARGER AIR INTAKE. WATER APPARENTLY ACCUMULATES IN THE TURBO CHARGER IN THE RAIN. IF HARD ACCELERATION OCCURS DURING THE RAIN, WATER IS PULLED TO THE ENGINE DAMAGING THE SPARK PLUGS AND COIL PACKS. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH FORD AS THE HAVE SEVERAL SERVICE BULLETINS OUT. UNFORTUNATELY, THE DEALER IN LOUISIANA HAS NOT BEEN PROVIDED A CORRECTION FROM FORD. MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT THE TURBO INTAKE SYSTEM HAS BEEN REDESIGNED FOR THE 2013 MODEL YEAR. FORD AT THIS TIME IS NOT OFFERING TO REPLACE THE AIR INTAKE. AS SUCH, I THIS VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE IN THE RAIN. A CAR SHOULD NOT STALL WHEN ACCELERATING. *TR
2012 F150 ECOBOOST. CONSUMER STATES SHUTTERING, LOSS OF HORSEPOWER AND ELECTRICAL PANEL WENT BLANK *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN HE STOPPED AT THE GAS STATION, THERE WAS STEAM COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE NEXT MORNING, AS THE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING TO THE DEALER, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE MECHANIC FOUND THE INNER COOLER WAS FILLED WITH WATER AND WAS PUSHING WATER THROUGH THE ENGINE. THE WATER WAS CREATED BY THE ENGINE AND ITS COMPONENTS. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THERE WAS NO FIX FOR THE PROBLEM AT THE CURRENT TIME. UPDATED 02/11/13
REAR DEFROSTER STOPPED FUNCTIONING. FORTUNATELY FOR ME THE REAR WINDOW DID NOT BLOW OUT AS HAS HAPPENED WITH OTHER F150'S AS LISTED IN "GLASSBYTES.COM". MANY SAY IT SOUNDS LIKE A GUN SHOT. THIS SITE ALSO HAS A SERVICE RECORD STATING THAT SOME F150'S REAR DEFROSTERS WILL NOT WORK FOR YEARS 2010 - 2013. THE FORD DEALERSHIP SAID I WOULD NEED THE REAR WINDOW REPLACED. SINCE I WAS UNDER WARRANTY FOR MILEAGE, BUT NOT FOR THE TIME, FORD SAID THEY WOULD COVER $600 OF THE APPROXIMATE $1200 COST. I TOLD THEM THIS WAS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE MY REAR WINDOW COULD HAVE BLOWN OUT LIKE OTHERS HAVE. THERE IS A PICTURE ON THE INTERNET THAT SHOWS THE WINDOW TEMPERATURE AT 140 DEGREES ON ONE VEHICLE. FORD SHOULD HAVE A RECALL ON THIS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
WHILE DRIVING ON AN INTERSTATE WITH TWO MOTORCYCLES IN THE BED OF THE TRUCKS, THE TRUCK STARTED TO SHAKE AND VIBRATE. HAVE SINCE SEEN THIS REFERRED TO AS THE SHUDDER THAT SOMETIMES PRECEDES THE LIMP MODE WHICH RESULTS IN POWER FAILURE. AFTER CHANGING LANES AND MONITORING TIRES ON NEARBY VEHICLES IN MOTION WE CONFIRMED IT WAS NOT THE ROAD. I HAVE SINCE EXPERIENCED IT AGAIN BUT CANNOT RECREATE THE BEHAVIOR ON DEMAND AND IT SEEMS TO BE ONLY ON LONG TRIPS WITH A LOAD IN THE TRUCK. *TR
I WAS TRAVELING AT APPROX. 50 MPH BEHIND A SLOW VEHICLE AND PULLED IN THE ONCOMING LANE TO PASS WHEN THE TRUCK SEEM TO MISS FIRE. IT WOULD NOT ACCELERATE AND I HAD BRAKE HARD TO PULL BACK IN BEHIND THE SLOW VEHICLE. IT DID THIS FOR ABOUT THIRTY SECONDS AND CLEARED UP. IT HAS ONLY HAPPENED ONCE. 2012 F150 ECOBOOST *TR
"CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM" WARNING APPEARED ON DASH DISPLAY. NO PROBLEM FOUND WITH BRAKES. AFTER USING CRUISE CONTROL FOR 1 HOUR ON A 4 LANE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH DURING HIGH HUMIDITY EARLY IN THE MORNING I TRY TO ACCELERATE AND THE MOTOR LOSES ALL POWER. I HAD TSB 12-6-4 APPLIED TO THE VEHICLE FRIDAY, THREE DAYS AGO, AND THOUGH IT MAY REDUCE THE LIKELIHOOD OF THIS SITUATION, IT DOES NOT OVERCOME WHAT APPEARS TO BE A DESIGN FLAW WITH THE INTERCOOLER IN THIS ECOBOOST MOTOR. THIS FLAW ALLOWS FOR CONDENSATED WATER TO BE SUCKED INTO THE MOTOR AND CAUSING THE MISFIRE DURING HARD ACCELERATIONS AFTER LONG PERIODS OF USING CRUISE CONTROL IN HIGH HUMIDITY SITUATION. THE DEALER NOTICED THE NOISE DURING THE ROAD TEST AND CONTACTED THE FORD HOTLINE. NO REPAIRS MADE. SEPTEMBER 21, 2012 BROUGHT THE TRUCK BACK FOR THE SAME CONDITION. THE TECHNICIAN COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE NOISE CONDITION. NO REPAIRS MADE. OCTOBER 25, 2012 AFTER CONTACTING FORD CUSTOMER CARE CENTER MYSELF, THEY INSTRUCTED ME TO BRING THE TRUCK BACK IN AND THEY WILL REPLACE THE TIE RODS. TIE RODS REPLACED ON THIS DATE. NOVEMBER 5, 2012 BROUGHT THE TRUCK BACK IN FOR THE SAME CONDITION. SERVICE DEPARTMENT REFUSED TO TEST DRIVE THE TRUCK, AND TOLD ME THAT EVERYTHING IS NORMAL AND "OPERATES AS DESIGNED". JANUARY 14, 2012-STILL HAVE KNOCKING/RATTLE CONDITION THROUGH STEERING WHEEL. *TR

I WAS ABLE TO SAFELY PULL TO THE SIDE WHILE THE TRUCK SLOWLY STARTED TO PICK UP SPEED AGAIN. LATER THE SAME DAY WHILE TRYING TO MERGE INTO MORE HIGHWAY TRAFFIC IT DID THE SAME THING. THE LIGHT BULB WAS REPLACED BUT THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ILLUMINATION WAS DIM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000.

IF THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT THINK THIS VEHICLES LOCKING UP ON THE ROAD IS OF CONCERN I DONT KNOW WHAT IS. THE TRUCK SENDS CODES FOR #1 #3 #5 CYLINDERS HAVE SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING. THEN I HAVE HAD THE ENGINE VAPOR LOCK UP, BECAUSE THE INDUCTION IS NOT ALLOWING WATER IN THE MOTOR. HOW MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE SPENT THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS TRUCK AND HAVE HAD MAJOR ISSUES.
