WHEN I TRY TO ACCELERATE I LOOSE POWER AND THE TRUCK REDUCES IN SPEED DRAMATICALLY. *TR
I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE FRONT ROTORS AND ALL PADS AT 8000 MILES, REPLACED ALL 4 ROTORS AND PADS AT 22,000 MILES. I AM NOW AT 30,000 MILES AND NOW HAVE NO POWER ASSIST. THIS YEAR AND MODEL IS KNOW TO HAVE ISSUES WITH THE VACUUM ASSIST PUMP, WHICH FORD IS NOT WILLING TO REPLACE. WHEN BACKING DOWN THE DRIVEWAY I LOST BRAKING AND HIT A SIGN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF STREET OPPOSITE MY DRIVEWAY. *TR
THE RIGHT BACK CORNER CAB WINDOW HAS SHATTERED/SPIDERED WITH NO REASONABLE CAUSE OR IMPACT.THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WHEN IT OCCURRED AND THERE IS A TOPPER ON THE TRUCK SO IMPACT FROM THE EXTERIOR OR INTERIOR DID NOT HAPPEN. I DISCOVERED THAT THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE REPORTS OF THIS AND WHEN I TALKED TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP THEY WERE FULLY AWARE OF THIS TYPE OF ISSUE BUT THERE IS NO RECALL. I AM THANKFUL THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND MY CHILD WAS NOT IN THE SEAT FOR THE GLASS TO POTENTIALLY BREAK ON THEM. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN AND SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING. IT IS DANGEROUS AND COSTLY. *TR
THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE ELECTRIC BRAKE VACUUM PUMP. IT MALES A LOUD NOISE WHEN BRAKES ARE USED AND MAKES THE BRAKE PEDAL DIFFICULT TO PRESS DOWN ON AND HAVE A POSITIVE BRAKE REACTION. THE FIRST DISTANCE TRAVELED AFTER INITIAL STARTUP HAS VERY LITTLE BRAKE ACTIVITY DUE TO THE PUMP NOT CREATING BRAKE PRESSURE. IT APPEARS THAT IT IS A KNOWN ISSUE BY FORD AS SOME TRUCKS HAVE BEEN RECALLED BASED ON THEIR MANUFACTURE LOCATION, MY TRUCK WAS NOT MADE AT THE LOCATION NEEDED TO QUALIFY FOR THE RECALL AND FIX OF THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER THE SAME ISSUE EXISTS AS THOSE THAT DO QUALIFY.
DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AT 70MPH, THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILURE NOTICE CAME ON CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO LOSE POWER STEERING. THE EXIT RAMP TURN WAS DIFFICULT AT BEST BUT TRYING TO MANEUVER THE VEHICLE PRIOR TO GETTING IT REPAIRED WAS INSANELY DIFFICULT AND DANGEROUS. FORD DEALER HAD TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE ELECTRONIC STEERING CONTROLS ($1500 IN PARTS - A COMPLETE UNIT) WITH A CONFIRMED 'SHORT' IN THE ELECTRONICS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE LOSS POWER STEERING ASSIST. THE CONTACT STATED THAT EXTRA EFFORT WAS NEEDED TO STEER THE VEHICLE. THE ADVANCE TRAC AND POWER STEERING ASSIST WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 153,420.
WHILE COMING TO STOP MY BRAKES FAILED AND WENT TO THE FLOOR. ON EXIT 32 EASTBOUND I-90. THANK GOD THERE WERE NO OTHER CARS IN FRONT OF ME. AFTER LOOKING ONLINE THERE IS A RECALL FOR 2013 -2014 FORD 150 THAT WERE MANUFACTURED AT THE SAME PLANT AS MY TRUCK. IN OUR RESEARCH IT TAKES THE SAME MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER AS THE RECALLED TRUCKS. OUR TRUCK ONLY HAS 78,000 MILES ON IT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH, THE POWER STEERING CEASED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO REGAIN POWER STEERING AND HAD TO USE EXTRA FORCE TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO BE DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 218,000.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT WOODY FOLSOM FORD (1633 GOLDEN ISLES W, BAXLEY, GA 31513) FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, THE MECHANIC DISCOVERED THAT THE RADIATOR HOSE WAS LEAKING. THE CONTACT WAS GIVEN AN ESTIMATE FOR THE COST OF THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT AND REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE NHTSA FOR ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 53,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.
SON OF 19 WAS GOING AROUND 60 ON HIGHWAY WHEN HIS FORD F150 SHIFTED ITSELF INTO FIRST GEAR . LOCKING UP REAR END AND SENDING IT INTO A SKID.. IT WAS ONLY THROUGH HIS EXCELLENT DRIVING THAT HE AVOIDED AN ACCIDENT. NEVER HAD A NOTICE OF A RECALL ON THIS TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AND FORD WILL NOT HONOR RECALL AS THE TRUCK NOW HAS 174358 MILES ON IT. SAID THEY ONLY HONOR 150K OR LESS. BOUGHT TRUCK FROM FORD DEALER AT 124571 IN 2-11-19 AND SHOULD BEEN ADDRESS THEN. THE COMPANY HEADQUARTERS SAID TO CALL A LAWYER! THIS TRANSMISSION "PROBLEM" COULD HAVE BEEN FATAL AND MAY HAVE BEEN FOR OTHERS!
WHILE TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL, IT IS MAKING A NOISE LIKE SOMEONE IS USING AN AIR TOOL UNDER THE HOOD. I WAS DRIVING INTO WORK AND THE STEERING WHEEL WILL CATCH AND HANG UP SO YOU CAN NOT TURN ALL THE WAY. THIS ISSUE COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS IF IT DID THAT WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC. I FEEL THAT THIS COULD BE A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN.
VEHICLE HAS 64,000 MILES. PULLED OUT OF DRIVEWAY AND HEARD A SOUND LIKE AN AIR COMPRESSOR TOOL. POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND POWER STEERING FAILURE LIGHT CAME ON. VEHICLE WAS MOVING LESS THAN 10 MPH WHILE TRYING TO TURN AROUND MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN.
REAR GLASS EXPLODED WHILE THE REAR DEFROSTER WAS ON CAUSING GLASS TO COME IN THE VEHICLE. HAS TO BE SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS TO MAKE FORD RESPONSIBLE FOR THERE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT BY THE SHARP GLASS SHARDS. I WAS DRIVING TO WORK IN THE EARLY MORNING
BRAKE VACUUM PUMP FAILURE ON RESIDENTIAL CITY STREET, HEARD THE PUMP RUNNING, THEN A GUSH OF AIR RESULTING IN EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE DUE TO SOFT BRAKE PEDAL. THIS PART HAS BEEN RECALLED IN CANADA.
TRAVELING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH (POSTED SPEED LIMIT) WHEN WITHOUT WARNING MY TRUCK DOWNSHIFTS TO FIRST GEAR. LOSS OF POWER AND SPEED RESULTED IN THE DOWNSHIFT. I WENT FROM 70 MPH TO 35 MPH ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY QUICKLY. MY ENTIRE DASH, BESIDES THE TACHOMETER, WENT OUT AS WELL AS A RESULT OF THIS DOWNSHIFT. I WAS LUCKY I WAS TRAVELING EARLY IN THE MORNING (ABOUT 530 AM) AND TRAFFIC WAS LIGHT. OR ELSE I AM SURE SOMEONE WOULD HAVE HIT ME DUE TO RAPID DECELERATION. THE TRUCK WAS TRAVELING STRAIGHT AND NOT IN A TURN. AFTER THIS DECELERATION, I WAS BARELY ABLE TO MANAGE TO GET OFF TO THE SHOULDER OF THE HIGHWAY BECAUSE MY TRUCK WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF FIRST GEAR. IT HAD NO POWER TO MOVE THE VEHICLE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IT ALSO FELT AS THOUGH IT HAD AFFECTED THE REST OF THE POWER ITEMS ON THE TRUCK, STEERING AND BRAKES ESPECIALLY. IT FELT AS THOUGH MY POWER STEERING WAS NOT WORKING AND TOOK A LOT OF EFFORT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP FULLY. THE FORD RECALL # FOR THIS SPECIFIC PROBLEM IS 19S07, THE NHTSA # IS 19V075000. MY VEHICLE IS NO LONGER COVERED UNDER WHAT FORD DEEMED AS A "VOLUNTARY SAFETY RECALL", REPAIR ESTIMATES ARE $1185. I FIND IT RIDICULOUS THIS PROBLEM IS A VOLUNTARY SAFETY RECALL, THE ONLY REASON I WAS NOT INVOLVED IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT IS BECAUSE OF THE TIME OF DAY I WAS TRAVELING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE WAITING AT A RED LIGHT, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO SHIFT INTO GEAR. THE CONTACT HAD TO PUSH THE VEHICLE IN TO A PARKING LOT, WAITED APPROXIMATELY HALF AN HOUR AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER IN FIFTH GEAR TO BRIGHTON FORD LOCATED AT (8240 GRAND RIVER RD, BRIGHTON, MI 48114), WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED A LEAD FRAME ATTACHMENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT A PART OF THE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM (TSB 16N02 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 81,000.
HAVING VERY POOR BRAKING AND A HARD PEDAL FEELING WHEN STARTING TRUCK AFTER SITTING IN DRIVEWAY FOR A FEW HOURS. ISSUE OCCURS EACH TIME I START THE TRUCK. I CAN'T GET THE TIRES TO LOCK UP AND THE ANTILOCKS TO KICK IN NO MATTER HOW HARD I HIT THE BRAKES. A COUPLE OF TIMES WHILE BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY IT FELT LIKE THE POWER BREAKS WEREN'T EVEN WORKING AND I HAD TO JUMP ON THE PEDAL WITH BOTH FEET TO BRING HER TO A STOP BEFORE GOING OUT IN THE ROAD OR HITTING A CHILD.

WENT TO DRIVE PICKUP AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, NEXT LOW FUEL LIGHT CAME ON EVEN THOUGHT THE VEHICLE HAS A FULL TANK OF FUEL. TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT, GAUGES ARE FLIPPING BACK AND FORTH. TRIED TO SHUT VEHICLE OFF AND IT WOULD NOT SHUT OFF ONCE I DID GET IT TO SHUT OFF IT WOULD NOT RESTART.ALSO ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASH WERE ARE GOING OFF. VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY.

THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO CONTROL THE STEERING WHEEL HOWEVER, EXTRA EFFORT WAS NEEDED TO MANEUVER THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST PERFORMED OR TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 146,000.
STARTED TO STUMBLE UPON ACCELERATION. DIAGNOSED WITH TIMING CHAIN NEEDS REPLACEMENT BOTH TURBOCHARGERS NEED REPLACED. TRUCK IS A 2012 F 150 WITH LESS THAN 89000 MILES. OIL HAS ALWAYS BEEN CHANGED WITHIN RECOMMENDED INTERVALS.THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEMS FOR THIS MOTOR, FORD ISSUED A TSB ON TIMING CHAIN STRETCH. I BELIEVE THIS IS A MANUFACTURE PART FAILURE, AND SHOULD BE RECALLED.
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD EARLY THIS MORNING WHEN I HEAR A SUDDEN *POP* AND MY REAR GLASS SHATTERED. CAR WAS GOING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH AND IN A STRAIGHT LINE, WITH NO OTHER VEHICLES OR OBJECTS NEAR. THE CAR WAS SITTING IN THE SHADE IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE OVER NIGHT. FROST HAD BEEN ON THE WINDOWS, SO NATURALLY THE HEAT AND DEFROSTERS WERE ON. NO IMPACT. NO OTHER SIGNS OF CONCERN WHATSOEVER. THE ONLY THING HOLDING IT TOGETHER IS THE WINDOW TINT FILM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE DOWN SHIFTED FROM THE SIXTH GEAR TO THIRD AND THEN TO THE FIRST GEAR. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT WHILE AT A STOP, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO MOVE FORWARD UNTIL IT WAS TURNED OFF AND WAS RESTARTED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V075000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE AUTO NATION, MIAMI, LOCATED AT (16800 NW 57TH AVE, HIALEAH, FL 33015) WHERE IT WAS STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OVER THE MILEAGE LIMIT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND STATED THAT THE DEALER COULD NOT BE FORCED TO DO THE REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 220,000.
2012 F-150 ROLLS BACK WHILE IN PARK AND OFF. IT OCCURRED 2 TIMES TODAY - 2020/01/23
AFTER EXPERIENCING A SPEED SENSOR FAILURE IN MY FORD F-150, I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL DEALER TO HAVE THE RECALLED PART REPLACED (SPEED SENSOR/LEAD FRAME). THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE PART, INSTEAD FLASHED THE SENSOR WITH NEW SOFTWARE. THE NEXT DAY, ENCOUNTERED A RELATED ISSUE, AFTER TAKING IT BACK, THE SERVICE REP STATED THAT IT SEEMS TO BE THE LEAD FRAME AND WOULD BE COVERED BY FORD BUT DID NOT OFF AN ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENT, ADVISED TO CALL BACK IF THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. I HAVE CONTINUED HAVING THESE ISSUES. ISSUE: VEHICLE STOPS SHIFTING, LOCKS INTO THE GEAR THAT IT IS IN, SPEEDOMETER STOPS WORKING, ALL DATA GOES BLANK AND TRANSMISSION ACTS LIKE IT SLIPS. THEN, STOP THE VEHICLE, TURN IT OFF, RESTART, THEN RUNS FINE UNTIL NEXT OCCURRENCE. AFTER MUCH MUCH RESEARCH AND AGREED DISCUSSION WITH THE SERVICE REP AT 2 DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS, IT DISPLAYS THE EXACT SYMPTOMS OF THE LEAD FRAME WHICH IS MENTIONED IN THE RECALL ISSUED RELATED TO THIS ISSUE. 2 DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS HAVE NOW REFUSED TO REPLACE THE PART BECAUSE THE ERROR CODE IS NOT PRESENT WHEN I GET THE VEHICLE THERE AND THAT IS BECAUSE I HAVE TO GET THE ISSUE TO CLEAR SO I CAN CONTINUE DRIVING IT. I HAVE ALSO CONTACTED FORD MOTOR CO. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HAVE HAD THE ISSUE ESCALATED 3 TIMES, EACH TIME THEY COME BACK WITH A RESPONSE "THERE ARE NO CURRENT PROGRAMS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST" EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A FORD ISSUED RECALL ISSUED IN FEB. 2019. I HAVE ALSO WAITED FOR A WEEK FOR A CALL BACK FROM THE SERVICE MANAGER BUT NO RESPONSE. THE ISSUE PERSISTS WITH NO ACTION FROM FORD. I AM STUCK DRIVING MY TRUCK EVERYDAY IN FEAR OF BEING STRANDED AND CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. I HAVE ALSO SENT AN EMAIL TO THE GENERAL MANAGER OF PEORIA FORD IN PHOENIX AZ AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
AS I WAS PULLING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED, AND THE DASH READ "SERVICE ADVTRACTION". ONCE TRACTION CONTROL WAS TURNED OFF THE STEERING WHEEL UNLOCKED.
COOLANT LEAKING FROM Y OR T CONNECTOR IN FRONT OF INTAKE MANIFOLD. NOTICED COOLANT LEAK ON MY DRIVEWAY WHILE TRUCK WAS STATIONARY.

THE FUSE WAS REPLACED BY THE CONTACT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.

HELLO NHTSB, MY CERTIFIED PRE OWNED 2012 FORD F-150 LARIAT 3.5L ECOBOOST 4WD SUPERCREW HAS HAD THE SAFETY RECALL NHTSA 19V-075 19S07 6R80 SUDDEN TRANSMISSIONDOWNSHIFT POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING ON MARCH 18 2019 AND SINCE THAT TIME THE WRENCH SYMBOL HAS APPEARED IN THE SPEEDO CLUSTER TWICE AND SENT THE TRUCK INTO LIMP MODE IN MOTION EACH TIME IN THE LATE AFTERNOON I WAS ABLE TO LIMP THE TRUCK TO THE DEALER, EACH TIME IT WAS TOO LATE TO HAVE A TECH CONNECT THE TRUCK TO THE DIAGNOSIS MACHINE ! AND IF THE TRUCK IS TURNED OFF THERE IS NO STORED TROUBLE CODES ! THE SAME DEALER WAS CONTACTED VIA PHONE FOR THE RECENT FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE REPAIR FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000.

WHEN LOOKING IT UP VIA THE INTERNET IT SEEMS THERE ARE MULTIPLE F150 OWNERS IN THE SAME SITUATION AS I AM IN.

THE TRUCK HAS A RECALL 16N02 OPEN ON IT. I JUST PURCHASED THE TRUCK AND A FEW YEARS AGO IT WAS IN AN ACCIDENT AT 99,000 MILES AND THE PASSENGER BEDSIDE WAS REPLACED, BUT INSURANCE COMPANY TOTALLED IT SO IT HAS A BRANDED TITLE. DEALER AND FORD ARE REFUSING TO DO THE REPAIR DUE TO THE TITLE STATUS.
HARD BRAKE PEDAL RESULTING IN NO OR VERY LITTLE BRAKING WHEN ENGINE IS COLD AND VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, EVERY DAY, EVERY TIME I START THE VEHICLE. ONCE THE PUMP BEGINS WORKING OR BECOMES UNSTUCK, I DO HAVE BRAKES, HOWEVER I AM VERY CONCERNED THAT THIS WILL RESULT IN BRAKE FAILURE AND AN ACCIDENT WITH SERIOUS INJURY TO ME AND MY PASSENGERS. THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD A RECALL ON CERTAIN MODELS FOR THIS ISSUE RESULTING FROM A BAD VACUUM PUMP. FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS SAID MY VEHICLE IS NOT INVOLVED IN THE RECALL. IT OBVIOUSLY IS, BECAUSE IT IS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM INVOLVED IN THE RECALL.

NOVEMBER 28TH. 2019. BACK WINDSHIELD RIGHT WINDOW SHATTERED INTO 1000 PEICES FROM DOING NOTHING. THE TRUCK WAS IDLING AND IN PARK ON PAVEMENT. I HAD THE REAR DEFROSTER ON. SUDDENLY HEARED A BIG BANG. LOOKED AROUND AND NOTICED THE WINDOW BROKE. NO EVIDENCE OF IT BEING STRUCK OR HIT. IT WAS ABOUT 33 DEGREES OUTSIDE AND SNOWING/SLEETING.
WHILE GOING OVER SPEED BUMPS AROUND 10 MPH THE TRUCK TENDS TO MAKE A "CLUNK" SOUND AND THE ENGINE REVS REAL HIGH - AS IF IT MISSED A GEAR.

REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER IS INOPERATIVE. THIS WINDOW HAS A CENTER SLIDING WINDOW. REPLACING MY 4TH REAR WINDOW. 47000 MILES ON VEHICLE. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR F150 TRUCKS THAT FORD WON'T RECOGNIZE. FOG, HIGH HUMIDITY, FREEZING RAIN/SNOW STICK TO THE WINDOW AND CANNOT BE REMOVED CAUSING A SAFETY HAZARD.
