The dealer determined that the brake booster or the brake master cylinder needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
There was something wrong with the Ford 10 speed transmission on my truck - 2018 Ford F 150. The transmission would jerk hard at completely random times. The biggest safety issue was that at times it wouldn't "go" when you pushed on the gas causing a delay that was particularly problematic when you were pulling into traffic. There needs to be a recall. If you google F150 10 speed transmission problems, there have been a myriad of them. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the transmission malfunctioned, causing the vehicle to suddenly lose motive power. Additionally, the RPMs increased but the vehicle did not properly accelerate with the "Service Wrench" warning light illuminated. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was a grinding noise coming from the front of the vehicle. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the front driver’s side wheel hub bearings were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 106,000.
While driving at a steady speed the transmission shifts into a lower gear unnecessarily. This has transpired on multiple occasions causing a dangerous situation.
I noticed the steering wheel became very loose one day randomly. If you placed your hands and the 9 and 3 position on the steering wheel it would rock back and forth very freely. I carried the truck to a shop and they looked into the steering wheel and found the bolt the holds the steering wheel onto the steering column was loose. It was spinning freely is was so loose. If the bolt would have loosen a little bit more the steering wheel would have became detached.
The contact's partner owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, an abnormal rattling sound was coming from the vehicle without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed with cam phaser failure. The contact was informed that the cam phasers needed to be replaced and was provided an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
I am told that there is a common issue with the year/make Ford that I have where the engine ends up needing replacement. The check engine light was on, so we took it into Ford and the engine “soaked up the oil” and when it was brought in it only 1.2 quarts left and was supposed to have 8 quarts. The Ford dealer stated that this is a common issue with this particular engine. Now the warranty company isn’t willing to cover without proof and Ford can’t prove because it’s an internal engine issue.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the transmission was slipping. There was an abnormal winding sound coming from the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle lost motive power. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The contact stated that when the independent mechanic started the vehicle, the oil level was at five. The vehicle was turned off; however, the vehicle was restarted, and the low oil warning light illuminated. The independent mechanic opened the hood and checked the oil and discovered metal shavings inside the oil. The contact was informed that the failure was due to failed cam phasers. The contact was informed that the cam phasers had been failing for a while. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
The cam phasers have always made a loud noise at startup. When I had this looked at, dealerships told me it was just a noise and nothing to worry about. Over time, the noise got worse. Recently, the cam phasers malfunctioned so that the truck would not accelerate as usual. It was extremely slow and lacked it's typical power on acceleration. The slow acceleration placed myself, my wife and children, and other drivers at risk when I was unable to accelerate as needed in traffic. Then, the engine also started a very rough idle as if the engine was about to shut down. I was still rolling to a stop when the truck began bouncing due to the rough idle. The biuncing and rough idle can happen even when i am not at a complete stop. I just have to be off the gas. The engine slowing quickly or shutting down in the middle of traffic would pose a danger to myself, my family, and other drivers. Ford put out a customer satisfaction program in 2022 which expired in january 2023. They stated that the cam phaser would make a noise, but would pose no future threat to the functionality of the car. This was false and many ford owners are saying the same. I've called multiple dealerships who say they have tons of f150 owners in line to have their cam phasers replaced and they have to pay almost 5,000 out of pocket for it. Ford refuses to place a Recall on these defective parts that they have known were defective for years. Their satisfaction letter was not sent to me so I, like many others, was unaware of the program. By sending the letter, ford recognized that their part was defective, but refused to claim a recall and misled the public about the true potential for damage and danger caused by these defective parts. if not replaced, these defective parts can continue to deteriorate other components of the engine until it is damaged beyond repair.
In 2021 and 50,000 miles I had a complete engine rebuild done due to failed cam phasers. Now 35,000 miles later, I have to have the same repair done because the campuses have failed again. After searching social media, and recognizing nothing is being done, there are post after post after post after post where vehicles have had the same issue over and over again for the 2018 to 2020 F150 3.5 L eco-boost engine. Ford has absolve themselves of all responsibility. They should definitely be looked into.
The contact's husband owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon start the vehicle, there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed with cam phaser failure. The contact was informed that the cam phasers needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 53,000.
Took truck for service maintenance and tire rotation. Tire rotation wasn’t done because tech said lug nuts were swollen and they couldn’t get lug nuts off. I took truck across street to Big-O tires and they rotated tires and we had lug nuts replaced with steel lug nuts.
Powertrain control module software is faulty, causing improper diagnosis of catalytic converters efficiency. Prompting a check engine light and P0430/P0420 code. I could not pass emissions testing with this code. The Ford dealer made me pay out of pocket to replace catalytic converters ~6 months ago, total cost of $2975.12. The have now addressed that it is unlikely the catalytic converters were faulty, and are offering no reimbursement.
While driving my low brake fluid light came on. I immediately pressed the brakes to pull over and almost could not stop causing danger to myself and other drivers around. I filled the reservoir for it to all leak out again in three miles. I filled it two more times and it keeps saying low fluid and losing my brakes. I inspect under the vehicle to find no visible fluid. It is leaking from the master cylinder into the brake booster. There is a recall for this on other 2018 f150 super crews. I will be bringing this to my local ford dealer to confirm the issue.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while attempting to drive the vehicle, the vehicle failed to accelerate as needed. The contact stated that the transmission was skipping gear, and shifted improperly, with the RPM revving abnormally. The contact stated that after depressing the accelerator pedal to the floorboard the vehicle failed to respond as needed. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that unknown technology needed to be upgraded. The local dealer was contacted, and the vehicle was diagnosed with transmission failure. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.
When driving the transmission skips which causes passengers to hit their heads on the back head rest thrusting our bodies toward the windshield. It is not safe to drive. Had it worked on just after we purchased it. Gears from 2 to 3 and sometimes at higher rates of speed the vehicle jerks and eventually will probably leave us stranded.
𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭: Vehicle is available for inspection. 1) Transmission: Vehicle consistently shifts aggressively around 4th gear (10 speeds total). Vehicle lurches when going above 3rd, however, it shifts correctly after 5th gear. 2) Acceleration: Vehicle randomly lurches forward or backward, depending on whether or not the vehicle is in Drive or Reverse, almost like you are slamming on the pedal, but without having pressed the pedal. This has only happened a couple of times, but it's very noticeable when it does. 3) Auto Start Stop Module: Vehicle will shut off while stopped or almost at a complete stop and the dashboard will have an error message with the auto start stop symbol and instructions that say to put the vehicle in park and turn the key to the off position and then back on. This has happened with the auto start stop button on the truck being pushed in the OFF position. This has happened in traffic multiple times, and once while reversing. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮: The vehicle turning off randomly or suddenly accelerating poses a large safety issue when driving on any city streets or parking lots. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟯: Not as of yet, however, the 10r80 transmission in this truck has already been recalled on similar models and other Ford vehicles. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟰: Transmission was already replaced in Jan. 2024 with a new factory ford transmission, but still has the same signs of transmission failure. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟱: No lights or messages other than the auto start stop message when the truck turns off.
The transmission has been slipping, skipping gears, downshifting in traffic, high rpm catch, shuddering and remaining in higher gears at stops
The windshield wipers will sometimes go off when they are not on.
My 10-speed transmission started jumping gears at about 50 to 55,000, miles. I asked my Ford dealership to do a complete check of the vehicle at 58,000 mi because it was close to the 60,000 mi warranty. They told me there was nothing wrong with the truck oil change on the road off. I went. At 63,000 mi it started shifting skipping gears as it downshifted. It would jump when I went from Park to reverse or reverse to drive. I took it in to have it checked and they said the 10 speed transmission was going out. The estimate was $9,000 to replace the transmission. A third of what my truck was currently worth and having been paid off I was not happy. I've had two transmissions put in since last February and they are doing the same thing the original was. However, now it's more extensive. I would be in the passing Lane doing 75 to 80 and it dropped from 10th year to first gear and jump back the 10th gear and lost Ford momentum which put me in a bad position in the passing Lane. That was the first transmission they put in. Changed it out for another transmission cuz it was under warranty. This one did nearly the same thing. How are the RPMs? I noted were just going wacky as it dropped from 10th to 8th. Jumped back up to 10th chugged and bucked and finally smoothed out. Again as in the passing lane. The first transmission was on its first vacation, 5 hours from home when they threw the wrench onto the dash board display. The second time it happened last week, I was an hour north of home. Both times I had to turn around repack a different car to leave on vacation or the long weekend. I'm again without a vehicle. Todd, I feel is trustworthy to go on any long distance drives. My faith and forward is fading. This is my fourth vehicle and I have loved the three previous ones. The 10-speed transmission is trash pieces and they know it. Why isn't your Ford doing something about it?
10 Speen Auto Transmission is shifting very hard from 1-2 or just skips 2 and goes 1-3. It shifted so hard this morning it chirped the tires. Other times it jolts me forward. When trying to accelerate it will not and almost feels like its going to stall. Almost got rear-ended one morning with my son in the truck. It is scheduled to go to dealership in 2 weeks (next opening). No warnings lights yet. Started about a week ago. Only getting worst each morning.
The entire transmission blew up and went out while my son was driving on the highway. It won't engage in any gears and was completely stranded on the highway. Thankfully he wasn't injured or hit when this happened! This could have killed him!! This year of F-150 has known transmission issues but there are no recalls. It will cost $10K to repair and the value of the vehicle is only $15K! This truck is totaled and undriveable. Now he is stuck unable to go to work and support his fiancé and [XXX] daughter. Again, he is lucky he didn't get killed when this completely blew up while driving at a high rate of speed. Ford needs to do better and issue a recall to fix this now! Now he is paying $650 for a truck he can't drive or fix. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
My 2018 Ford F‑150 XLT has the 10R80 automatic transmission with severe issues including harsh shifting, delayed engagement, slipping between gears, and unpredictable shift timing. Symptoms occur during normal driving and create a serious safety hazard. Ford dealer replaced transmission with a remanufactured 10R80, part number JL3Z‑7000‑ERM, and is listed in Ford’s Equipment Safety Recall 25SB3 (dated 10/28/2025) for missing internal bearings and unsafe shifting behavior. When the Ford dealer replaced the transmission on 02/26/2025, they recorded mileage as 70,009 miles, 9k miles lower than the actual mileage of 79,009. This discrepancy creates a false service record and misrepresents when the failure occurred. It also affects warranty determinations, recall eligibility, and the accuracy of the vehicle’s service history. The mileage history shows a consistent progression documented by two independent auto shops (see attached files). This mileage discrepancy impacts warranty and goodwill eligibility, recall-related determinations, accuracy of Ford’s internal service history and Carfax/AutoCheck reporting. Despite the replacement, the transmission continues to exhibit the same dangerous symptoms. As a disabled veteran, I rely heavily on safe, predictable vehicle operation. Delayed engagement and slipping created an elevated risk when operating this vehicle. The dealer informed me that Ford has not provided a fix and that they cannot take further action. I have stopped operating the vehicle due to the severity of the transmission defect and the safety risks it creates. I request that Ford correct this mileage entry and ensure the digital service record reflects the accurate mileage. I also request NHTSA investigate the transmission and mileage matters, as the vehicle is unsafe to operate and Ford has not provided a remedy. Thank you in advance.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25E070000 (Power Train); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted but the vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission shifted harshly and there were delays while changing gear. The approximate failure mileage was 109,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while starting the vehicle, there was excessive white smoke coming from the exhaust. There were no warning lights illuminated. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHSTA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 153,000.
Driving on a major freeway during rush hour traffic and my master brake cylinder failed causing me to lose brakes. Further more the cylinder vacuumed my brake fluid into the engine causing more costly repairs. I previously owned a 2015 F150 and know that master cylinder failed and was recalled. Ford assured me this was a better master cylinder in the 2018.
Hubs keep engaging themselves when parked. Hubs have been replaced as well as the 4wd IWE valve and the problem continues. Multiple shops have worked on this and failed to find a solution. It is becoming a safety problem if it starts to engage while driving.
This vehicle has the 10R80 10 speed transmission, the same transmission that is in the Mustang that is under recall now. That was reset at a Ford dealership in 2023 I believe. It was not acting up at that time, they "fixed" it then while it was in. Now a few years later this problem is VERY PERSISTANT now, constantly missing, skipping, and losing power trying to accelerate trying to get on to busy roads and highways, it loses power and skips through all the gears from 1st to 10th back down to 4, then 6 then 2 then back to 9 and 10. I have almost been hit numerous times from this action. It is also causing the dash lights to turn off and come back on. Also effecting my 4 wheel drive, it will not engage. This should be a SAFTEY RECALL and Ford needs to take of it.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the engine became overheated with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed as a failure with the cylinder heads. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure The failure mileage was unknown.
Took my Ford F150 in for an oil change. Ford dealer informed me the steering gear assembly had completely broke near the gear box at only 68k (I do not know when the break happened). Although the vehicle is drivable, it has a chance of losing steering at any time and was advised not to drive it. No vehicle warnings are provided, and the truck has been regularly serviced over the years without me being informed of an issue. It is available for inspection as I am on a waitlist for a backordered steering gear assembly part.
Cam phasers have gone out. This is the second time this vehicle has unsafely died in the 30k miles we have owned this vehicle. Ford refuses to help cover the costs.
The 10 speed system transmission will jump between gears and will unexpectedly slip into neutral or 1st gears without warning. It is available for inspection. While accelerating, system will intermittently slip into neutral leaving the driver without power. This may only last a few seconds before slamming back into whichever gear it is suppose to be in. Sometimes, system would lose complete acceleration while pulling into traffic. The problem has been reproduced by the Ford dealer with a statement that the only thing they could do is replace the entire transmission. Discussion with Ford customer service stated that they would not be able to assist with repairs and there is no recall for these transmissions. The vehicle or components have not been inspected by the anyone other than a Ford dealer. System fault does come on when the transmission loses gear. This is an ongoing issue and has been occuring for about 6 months. It happens more often when it hasn't been driven for a while or while cold but it will happen anytime of the year. It will also sometimes slip into neutral and you must shut the car off and back on to regain power train ability. A video is available but currently unable to upload it due to MB size restrictions.
2018 ford f150 bought used @44k miles with a ford cpo 85k warranty truck has been at the dealership multiple times for months at a time for blue smoke out of the exhaust along with warranty coverage of the catalytic converters from excessive oil consumption issue making its way into the exhaust giving area for extreme fires for oil changes and dye test also loosing around 4qts of oil at every 2k miles with no leaks so after inspecting the engine found the cylinders to be oil washed with excessive piston to wall clearance and sleeve scaring and being a master ford certified tech its sad to show ford is bypassing the warranty on these engine's by showing no proof of what the main issue is no diagnostics are being done no tear downs are being done all they do is pull a dipstick and say it failed a oil consumption test they first told us to do pcm updates for the emissions issues with the pcv system and programming of the pcm allowing excessive oil to flow up from vacuum on decel allowing oil into the intake and washed into the cylinders and bore washing the sleeves then they tried the longer dipstick trick and when that wasn't working out they found a loop hole in a third party extended warranty that is allowed to cover whatever selling them as factory ford certified warranty's crazy how a multi-billion dollar organization can do this to customers and employees I've personally delt with the ford motor company and there solution is they will cover half the repairs only which is 6603.37 or you can pay for engine tear down to see if they will allow warranty coverage which is funny enough 6603.37 and being with ford they sell the engine at the dealership to us for 6603.37 so either way there loop hole makes you pay for the base cost of the engine they sell it for when it cost them only 1256.49 to buy one to stock on the shelf at the dealership they basically said you can either take the deal or sue us so that's what ill be doing truck currently has 73k miles barley driven.
The alarm system and hazards will randomly go on and will not turn off until you start vehicle and hit the hazard light button. If you hit the hazard button while the vehicle is off, it does not turn the hazards off. They will often remain flashing even if the horn/alarm system isn't blaring. At times hitting the hazard button has made the horn go off. The truck has started locking itself and keypad will not work to unlock only the key fob. Truck has not been driven at night since this has occurred to notice if its affecting the headlights. We have noticed that it is also affecting the cabin climate controls (air conditioning/heat). The source of the problem appears to be a malfunction with the Body Control Module (BCM). Prior to these issues arising, there were no warning or messages that appeared on the dash. The truck has been driving great. Now the check engine light is on and have to disconnect the battery so that it doesn't go off in the middle of the night again.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the engine compartment. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the cam phasers were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 130,000.
Driving down interstate highway at 75 mph in cruise and transmission seemed to drop out and vehicle slowed down almost causing a bad wreck. Mashed the gas and the vehicle jerked and finally picked back up. Scary !!! The transmission seems to jerk harshly at times when it shifts, or as it drops down going up slopes.
The 2018 Ford F150 is notorious for the connection for the rear defroster on the rear window to fall off. There is no real good way to repair this. This leaves it impossible to clear the rear window from snow and ice. This causes extreme visibility issues when attempting to back up and see what is behind you.
Transmission is unsure witch gear the transmission wants to be in after take off Randomly it will down shift from 4th to 1st gear then go back to 4th 5th with a clank noise and hesitation it continues to do it everyday now
My transmission is not responding properly. It will jump between gears and sometimes will downshift while in motion back to first gear. It then becomes unresponsive for a short time and then will jump back to the gear it was in.
I bought my 2018 Ford F-150 with the 3.5L EcoBoost, 4x4, and 10R80 transmission as a Ford Blue Certified truck from a Ford dealer at about 92,000 miles. Putting the truck into gear to pull out of the parking spot it "clunked" into drive, which I mentioned to the salesperson who was with me shrugged it off as "it's probably because it's been sitting for a while." The problems started shortly after purchase and have gotten way worse over the next 34,000 miles. It jerks hard shifting in and out of 3rd, 5th, and 8th gears. Oftentimes it skips 2nd and 4th gear. In 7th gear it feels like a "false neutral" where the engine revs with no power before slamming into a higher gear. The worst of the safety concerns are that on the highway in 9th or 10th gear it will suddenly downshift to 1st causing sudden deceleration and pegging the RPMs to the top end of the gauge, and when decelerating to a full stop the transmission will stay stuck in 7th gear leaving me unable to accelerate into traffic, until it decides to slam back into 1st gear after a few moments. The wrench light also comes on. This is a huge safety risk, and many other have experienced serious near-miss incidents or accidents such as rear-end collisions or losing control and their vehicle ending up off the road. I took the truck to the dealer initially and they programmed the transmission for an "adaptive drive cycle" relearn which masked the underlying issues for a little while that ended up returning much worse. Their latest diagnoses quoted me $5,071 to replace the CDF drum / clutch cylinder for the known root cause of a faulty design of the inner sleeve shifting out of place - which has since been redesigned. Ford has issued TSBs about this issue (22-2428, 23-2250). This matches NHTSA investigation PE22015 on 1.3 million F-150s for downshifts and lockups with over 138 complaints to date. We urgently need a full RECALL for this design flaw - it is endangering lives on the road and costing Ford customers.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle unexpectedly downshifted and decelerated. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the transmission. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V075000 (Power Train); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 48,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission upshifted from first gear to tenth gear. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a transmission specialist, who determined that the first and third gears were chattering, the third and fifth gear upshifts had a flare, the eighth and ninth gears had a flare, and when shifting to tenth gear, the transmission shifted to neutral, and then downshifted to first gear before shifting to tenth gear. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.
Transmission went to 1st gear to 7th gear and stalled out almost caused an accident. Called Ford customer service about the problem after realizing it's an ongoing problem with 2018 Ford F150 5.0 Gasoline engine. I honestly believe a factory recall needs to be before someone loses their life.
Approximately 2 months ago I stopped to get a bagel breakfast and parked my 2018 Ford XFT on a slight 2 to 5 % slope parking lot. I put the truck emergency brake on and pressing on the brake petal put the truck into Park. I exited the store after picking up my order an got into my truck , depressed the brake petal and at the same time pulled the emergency brake button to release the vehicle still in Park mode. The shifter would not release the transmission to Drive mode or move at all and stayed I lock mode. After approximately 20 minutes to no avail to get it into Drive Mode I called the local FORD Dealership where I bought the truck and told them my problem at which time I was informed I needed to get the truck towed to the Ford Dealership. I then called a Tow Truck and waited for about half an hour until it arrived. Both myself and the Tow truck driver made several attempts to engage the truck to Drive Mode. The Two truck driver was sucessful on the last attempt not knowing how he got it into Drive Mode. I had to pay the tow truck driver the full amount and drove to the FORD Dealership which was approximately six miles away. Next day I got a call from the Dealership telling me my truck was done. I was informed there that they were not able to duplicate the problem and found nothing else wrong with the emergency brake. I paid that bill which was approximately 200.00 dollars. I had no problem with the brake since, until today 6/28/24 several months later. Problem repeated itself on miles 2 to 5% slope. Called the same FORD Dealership Service Dept. No Response. Called Sales Dept. women paged Service Rep. Informed him of past problem and repeated problem today. He informed me that NO One there or Any Ford Dealership Representative Anywhere in Region or National knows what to do in his situation. Further, stating I should have the truck towed th there Dealership ASAP. I repeated my problem and asked if he had any Phone Number for FORD HQ he said none.
