Air bag light on intermittently, then recently it's been continuously on
I just got the car in June 1st.2022 it's broken down 5x stopped in middle of us.19 North 2x it won't keep oil it's leaking out running hot blowed the hose loose 1x last week,it started weeks ago refused to start up and shutting down now, shuddering, it's at machanic shop now in largo, Florida he stated the car is not usable and unsafe to drive any longer the motor as well is gone and white smoke is coming from the muffler.the used car dealership truecars on park blvd.is trying to force me to keep the car I haven't driven the car in 2wks.this week will be 3 I have fixed Alot of things on the car in little time I can't afford to replace something that was damaged already my first to be car and it's been a bad experience.but I do know I will not put my life or anyone else lives in danger to fix the serious major damage with this car someone please contact me and help guide me as to what to do with this situation in desperate need.God bless.sincerly!!!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FIESTA. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE WAS CRASHED INTO BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE FRONT BUMPER WAS DAMAGED AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS AN AIR BAG FAILURE. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 189,213.

YES WHEN I TURN ON MY CAR IT MAKES A LITTLE NOISE ON THE ENGINE. AND ALSO WHEN I DRIVING THE CAR IT MAKES IT LOUDER AND THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPED ON THE FIRST GEAR IT DOESN'T RUN PROPERLY AT ALL... CAUSE I HAVE OTHER CAR AND IT RUNS REAL GOOD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.. WELL THANKS I HOPE THEY WILL HELP ME

A WEEK AFTER THE CRASH, THE CONTACT WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A CONTUSION, MILD CONCUSSION, A RIB COMPRESS WALL, AND SWELLING. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V246000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES), BUT THE DEALER WAS NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE THE PART FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, WHICH WAS NOT IN A REASONABLE TIMEFRAME TO SCHEDULE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THE PART WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT WAS STILL EXPERIENCING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V488000 (AIR BAGS). THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THAT RECALL REPAIR WOULD BE PERFORMED. THE DEALER DID NOT NOTIFY THE CONTACT THAT THE RECALL NEEDED TO BE PERFORMED. THE CONTACT REPORTED THE FAILURE TO THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS WAITING TO DETERMINE WHEN THE TWO RECALL REPAIRS WOULD BE PERFORMED. THE VEHICLE WAS STILL AT THE DEALER TO BE REPAIRED FOR THE DOOR LOCK FAILURE AND STILL WAITING FOR THE SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR THE AIR BAGS. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,000.

WHILE DRIVING THE SPEED OF IN TOWN, STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, MY BRAKES FAILED TO WORK. I APPROACHED A RED LIGHT WITH STOPPED TRAFFIC AHEAD OF ME AND STARTED BRAKING. I CONTINUED TO BRAKE BUT THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO BRAKE PRESSURE. IT FELT LIKE MY BRAKE PEDAL WAS PUSHING THROUGH THE FLOOR BOARD BUT NOTHING WAS HAPPENING. MY CAR PROCEEDED TO CRASH INTO A STOPPED TRUCK AT ABOUT 35-40MPH. MY AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. I CAME AWAY WITH ACHES AND PAIN BUT FORTUNATELY WAS NOT BADLY INJURED. MY CAR HAS BEEN TOTALED BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN TELLING FORD SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR THAT THE BRAKES MAKE AN AWFUL SQUEALING NOISE. FINALLY AFTER TWO YEARS THEY "SERVICED" THE BRAKES AND THEN A MONTH LATER THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED. *TR
AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE SURFACE STREETS, THE CARS BRAKES DID NOT WORK. I PUMPED THE BRAKES THREE TIMES BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY LOCKED AND I SLID ON THE ROAD AND REAR ENDED A VEHICLE.
