TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FIESTA. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE JERKED AND THE GEARS SHIFTED AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
WE PURCHASED THE CAR LIGHTLY USED AND ARE THE SECOND OWNER. WE BOUGHT IT WITH ABOUT 7,500 MILES ON THE ODO. WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP, THE TRANSMISSION SHUTTERS AND VIBRATES, SOMETIMES VIOLENTLY CAUSING A PAUSE IN THE ACCELERATION WHICH HAS SOMETIMES BEEN PROBLEMATIC IN TOUGH TRAFFIC SITUATIONS. IF STOPPED ON A HILL AND TRYING TO ACCELERATE, THE CAR STRUGGLES BETWEEN 1ST AND 2ND GEAR AND TO ACCELERATE. WE VIEW THIS AS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN. UPON TAKING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THREE TIMES, THEY COMMON ANSWER IS THAT "IT ACTS THAT WAY BECAUSE IT HAS A TRANSMISSION THAT IS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION LINKED WITH AN AUTOMATIC" AND NO ATTEMPT IS EVER MADE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. ONLY ONE TIME, THEY DID A COMPUTER UPDATE, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTED, AND SO WE TOOK IT BACK AND RECEIVED THE ANSWER GIVEN ABOVE. THE TRANSMISSION DOES NOT FUNCTION SAFELY OR APPROPRIATELY, AND SHOULD BE RECALLED. IT HAS CAUSED US A LOT OF STRESS WHEN GETTING ON HIGHWAYS OR MAJOR ROADWAYS BECAUSE OF THE ACCELERATION (OR LACK OF) ISSUE. PLUS WHEN THE CAR JOLTS, SHAKES, AND VIBRATES VIOLENTLY, YOU FEEL LIKE THE WHOLE CAR IS GOING TO BREAK APART.
None of the recalls were ever done to my vehicle. Mailing problems didn’t receive notification in mail. Door handle fell off and window handles coming off. Tag light glitching and in car press light doing the same. Crack plastic parts of car cracked years ago. Strange engine leak. Door panels coming off and panel around gear broke a year after I got the car. I sent complaint two years ago. I have not heard from anyone.
THIS VEHICLE HAS A TRANSMISSION THAT CAUSES BUCKING, KICKING, JERKING, HARSH ENGAGEMENT, ROUGH SHIFTS, SHUDDERING, DELAYED ACCELERATION, RED-LINING PRIOR TO SHIFTING, AND FEELING LIKE IT IS RETURNING TO NEUTRAL DURING STOP. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN TURNED OVER TO THE DEALER SERVICE CENTER AND FORD MOTOR SERVICE. BOTH CLAIM THERE IS A CLUTCH ISSE THAT IS NOT A LIFE SAFETY ISSUE AND WILL NOT DAMAGE THE VEHICLE LONG TERM. BOTH CLAIM THE PARTS ARE ON BACK ORDER AND SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN 3-8 MONTHS.

THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V246000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES) AND STATED THAT THE PART NEEDED WAS UNAVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
VIOLENT LEFT SIDE COLLISION (T BONE TYPE) BY HIGH POWERED 400 HP 1995 CHEVROLET COMARO GOING THROUGH A STOP SIGN, ACCELERATING ACROSS FOUR LANES, THEN LEAVING THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT. I WAS NOT INJURED. THE CAR WAS SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED. THE CAR WAS PUSHED PERPENDICULAR AND PARTLY ROTATED. THERE WERE TWO EYE WITNESSES. AFTER A MOMENT OF RECOVERY I GAVE CHASE AND CAUGHT THE DRIVER IN A DRIVEWAY SEVERAL BLOCKS DOWN WISCONSIN AVE IN TAMPA FLORIDA. CALLED POLICE AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY USAA. I WAS THE ONLY OCCUPANT. AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. I REPORTED THIS TO FORD AND REGIONAL SERVICE MANAGER SEEMED TO TAKE GREAT INTEREST INITIALLY AND SAID SHE WOULD HAVE AIR BAGS THOROUGHLY EVALUATED AFTER COLLISION REPAIR. AFTER REPAIR, A MONTH LATER, I CALLED HER AND SHE DELAYED RESPONDING FOR THREE WEEKS, FINALLY RESPONDING AFTER MANY CALLS TO FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER. SHE SAID AIR BAGS WERE CHECKED BY GREENWAY FORD WHERE I HAD COLLISION REPAIRED. THIS WAS NOT TRUE AND A LIE. SERVICE WAS NOT AWARE OF POSSIBLE NON DEPLOYMENT OF SIDE AIRBAGS WHEN FRONT PASSENGER SEAT WAS UNOCCUPIED. SERVICE CHECKED ALIGNMENT ONLY. FURTHER PRESSING FORD TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEIR INITIAL DIRECTIONS TO HAVE AIR BAGS EVALUATED HAS RESULTED IN FORD REFUSING TO EVALUATE SIDE AIR BAG FUNCTION RELATIVE TO NOT DEPLOYING AS A RESULT OF THIS VIOLENT SIDE COLLISION. I AM REPORTING THIS TO YOU BECAUSE I HAVE DOUBT WHETHER THE SIDE AIR BAGS IN MY FORD FIESTA 2014 AND A SECOND FORD FIESTA 2014, ([XXX]), I PURCHASED AFTER THE ACCIDENT, MAY NOT HAVE FUNCTIONAL SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT WITH THE RIGHT FRONT SEAT UNOCCUPIED, A POTENTIAL SAFETY RISK FOR OCCUPANTS OF THE REAR SEAT. 2014 FORD FIESTA AUTO WITH 4982 HAS DEVELOPED A SERIOUS JUDDERING AND LOSS OF POWER WHEN MOVING AWAY FROM STAND STILL OR ACCELERATING AT LOW SPEED. THIS HAS CAUSED PROBLEMS ENTERING MAJOR ROADS AND ON TESTING THE PROBLEM I HAD TO MOVE OVER QUICKLY TO A SIDE TURN TO PREVENT AN 18 WHEELER RUNNING IN THE BACK OF THE FIESTA. MOVING OFF FORWARD IS VERY JERKY AND REVERSING HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS SERIOUSLY AFFECTS THE ABILITY TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE SAFELY AND IN LESS EXPERIENCED HANDS WILL LEAD TO SERIOUS ACCIDENTS. I HAVE MANY YEARS EXPERIENCE IN MOTOR SPORT, ROAD TESTING VEHICLES AND HAVE PASSED THE INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED MOTORISTS IN THE UK, ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT DRIVING TESTS IN THE WORLD TODAY. THE FORD FIESTA IN QUESTION IS USED ON THE ROADS OF FLORIDA USA IN MY OPINION THERE SHOULD BE A MAJOR RECALL BEFORE THERE IS A FATALITY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FIESTA. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE JERKED AND HESITATED WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLUTCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,405.
SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN SEPTEMBER 2013 I HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE ACCELERATING, STALLING, AND JERKING FORWARD. ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 15, 2015 AT 8:00 PM I WAS DRIVING AND THE ENGINE LIGHT RANDOMLY TURNS ON AND THE VEHICLE CLICKS ON AND OFF, THE VEHICLE STALLS AND I ALMOST HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL INSTANCES WHERE I ALMOST GOT INTO CAR ACCIDENTS BECAUSE OF THE TRANSMISSION ON THIS VEHICLE. CURRENTLY GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THE DEALER EVERY TIME WHO STATES A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF VARIATION SUCH AS SHUDDERING AND JERKING IS NORMAL WITH THESE TRANSMISSIONS HOWEVER THIS CAR IS NOT SAFE. I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT ENOUGH PEOPLE WILL COMPLAIN WHERE SOMETHING WILL BE DONE SOON TO GET THESE CARS INTO OPERABLE DRIVING CONDITIONS. *TR
WHEN THE CAR IS STOPPED IN TRAFFIC AND I PUSH THE PEDAL TO ACCELERATE AND THERE IS A DELAYED REACTION. WHEN THE CAR FINALLY DOES ACCELERATE, IT DOES IT IN A "HOPPING" MOTION. WHEN THE CAR GETS UP TO 20MPH, IT STARTS SHAKING AND DOESN'T STOP UNTIL I ACCELERATE EVEN FURTHER. SOMETIMES THE CAR HAS ACCELERATION PROBLEMS AT HIGHER SPEEDS, BUT MOST FREQUENTLY HAS ACCELERATION PROBLEMS AT LOWER SPEEDS. IT FEELS LIKE THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING AND SOMETIMES THE CAR IS JERKY WHILE DRIVING. *TR
SNOW IS ENTERING THROUGH THE COWL TOP ARE AND MELTING, THE WATER ENTERS THE BLOWER MOTOR AND THEN FREEZES THE BLOWER MOTOR. THIS MAKES IT SO MY CAR HAS NO HEAT OR FUNCTIONAL DEFROSTER. WHEN I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP I PURCHASED IT FROM THEY STATED IT WAS A "DESIGN FLAW" AND "COMMON PROBLEM." THE SUGGESTION THEY GAVE ME WAS TO KEEP SNOW AND ICE AWAY FROM THE COWL TOP WHICH IS UNREALISTIC FOR WHERE I LIVE. I HAVE DRIVEN TO AND FROM WORK THREE TIMES THIS WINTER WITHOUT HEAT IN MY CAR, AND SINCE THERE IS NO DEFROSTER MY WINDOWS ALSO HAVE TO BE CRACKED OPEN TO MAKE SURE THAT WINDOWS DO NOT FOG. *TR
TRANSMISSION IS JERKY, HESITANT, DANGEROUSLY NOT RESPONDING IN TRAFFIC WHEN NEED TO ACCELERATE EXTISTS. INTO FORD SEVERAL TIMES FOR REPAIRS BUT SEEMS TO GET WORSE INSTEAD OF BETTER. TO THE POINT WHERE WE ARE AFRAID TO DRIVE IT.
EXCESSIVE SHUDDERING, JERKING AND RATTLING NOISES AT ACCELERATION
THE HINGE ON BACK DRIVER SIDE CRACKED FIRST ,,,GOT FIXED ,,NOW BACK PASSENGER SIDE CRACKED AND THEY WONT FIX .. WARRANTY EXPIRED. ALSO MY FRONT PASSENGER DOOR DON'T LATCH CLOSED MUST TIE SHUT.
BOUGHT CAR ON JUNE 1 2014. TRANSMISSION SHUTTERS (SLIPS) FROM 1ST TO 3RD GEAR. TRY TO ACCELERATE AND IT SHUTTERS (SLIPS) FROM GEAR TO GEAR. COULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE AS GOING INTO TRAFFIC OR A LIGHT IT HESITATES WHICH COULD LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT. AFTER READING ARTICLES ON THIS ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION (FIESTA'S & FOCUS'S) THIS SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO AS A SAFETY ISSUE BY THE NHTSA. FORD SEEMS TO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX CORRECTLY. ADJUST COMPUTER, PUT NEW CLUTCH PADS ON, ETC. SEEMS NO CLEAR FIX TO PROBLEM. I FEEL THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR A RECALL. *TR
MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN SHUDDERING FOR YEARS AND UNTIL EVEN THE LAST DAY THEY EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS NORMAL FOR THAT TYPE OF VEHICLE TO REACT WITH THE SHUDDERINGS BEFORE TAKING OFF. THE CHECK ENGINE LITE KEEPS COMING ON AND AFTER DRIVING FOR ABOUT A MINUTE CAR DOES NOT REVERSE AT ALL UNTIL CARS SHUT OFF. CAR RIGHT NOW IS NOT BEING DRIVEN BECAUSE ITS BEEN A SAFETY HAZARD FOR SOME TIME NOW. THIS IS MY ONLY WAY OF TRANSPORTATION. I NOW HAVE BEEN RENTING CARS WHILE I STILL PAY OFF THIS CAR TILL THIS DAY. THE FORD DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN LYING TO ME. I HOOKED UP THE COMPUTER AND GOT A LOW CLUTCH DUAL CONTROL SYSTEM ERROR. I GOT THE PART CHANGED OUT AND CAR CONTINUES TO HAVE CHECK ENGINE LITE. I USE THIS VEHICLE TO PICK UP MY DAUGHTER EVERY MONTH. FOR YEARS DRIVING THIS VEHICLE NEVER REALIZED HOW FORD HAS PUT ME AND MY DAUGHTER IN DANGER BY HAVING THESE FAULTY VEHICLES WITH MESSED UP TRANSMISSION THAT DIDN'T BELONG IN THESE TYPES OF VEHICLE. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO GET FIXED ONCE AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A RECALL AND WOULDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN AFTER THE FIX AND IT CONTINUED AFTER SOME TIME TO GO BACK TO ITS USUAL SHAKE BEFORE TAKE OFF. LIKE I SAID THE LAST TIME I WENT FOR OIL CHANGE AND FULL INSPECTION OF VEHICLE AT SCARSDALE FORD DEALERSHIP THE MECHANIC SAID HE TOOK IT OUT FOR A DRIVE AND SAW NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR. AFTER I DROVE IT OUT THE DEALERSHIP CAR CONTINUED TO SHAKE AND KNEW THAT HE WAS LYING. THEY JUST DONT WANT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. PLEASE HELP I OWE OVER $4000 LEFT ON PAYMENTS AND THIS CAR ISNT WORTH NOT EVEN A PENNY FOR THE DANGER IT PUT ME THROUGH EVERYTIME I TOOK THE CAR OUT FOR A DRIVE. I PURCHASED A 2014 FORD FIESTA IN MAY 2014. IN DECEMBER 2014, THE VEHICLE BEGAN EXHIBITING SIGNIFICANT SHUDDERING AND WOULD SLIP OUT OF GEAR WHEN ACCELERATING FROM LOW SPEEDS AND FROM A COMPLETE STOP. WHEN I CONTACTED THE FORD DEALERSHIP FOR ASSISTANCE, THEY DID NOT SEEM CONCERNED AND OFFERED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A MONTH LATER. I AM CURRENTLY WAITING FOR THAT APPOINTMENT. INTERNET RESEARCH HAS SHOWN THAT THIS IS APPARENTLY A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE, WHICH NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY FORD ASAP. *TR
TRANSMISSION MODULE RECALL
I HAVE BEEN TAKING OFF AFTER STOPPING AND THE TRANSMISSION OR FUEL INJECTION MISSES CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO NOT ENGAGE THE DRIVE TRAIN JUST RIGHT. THE VEHICLE HESITATES, LURCHES, AND SHUTTERS. THE VIBRATION IS BAD AND I'M WORRIED IF I TAKE OFF FROM A STOP LIGHT OR SIGN, THE VEHICLE DOES NOT ENGAGE THE DRIVE TRAIN, I MIGHT BE HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE BECAUSE I CANNOT GET THE VEHICLE OUT OF THE PATH OF TRAFFIC DUE TO THE HESITATION. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND SOMETHING MUST BE DONE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *JS

TRANSMISSION SHUTTERS AND STALLS WHILE DRIVING
TRANSMISSION SHUDDERS GOING INTO GEARS. IT SHUDDERS GOING FROM 2ND TO 3RD AND THEN 3RD TO 4TH. WHEN IF FINALLY GOES INTO 4TH GEAR IT LURCHES. TRANSMISSION WILL ALSO SHUDDER WHILE CRUISING AT LOW SPEEDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH AND IF BRAKING THEN ACCELERATING SUDDENLY. WHEN I FINALLY TOOK IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP, IT WAS SLIPPING IN AND OUT OF GEAR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FIESTA. WHILE STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT, THERE WAS A SUDDEN INCREASE IN ENGINE RPMS WITHOUT WARNING. ALSO, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE CONSISTENTLY SHOOK WITHOUT WARNING WHILE ACCELERATING. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,000.
VEHICLE EXHIBITS A CONSTANT SHUTTERING/JARRING EFFECT FROM THE TRANSMISSION WHILE UNDER ACCELERATION AND DURING SHIFTS. VEHICLE TRANSMISSION ISSUE CAUSES INTERMITTENT ACCELERATION WHICH RESULTS COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. VEHICLE HAS BEEN ENTERED FOR SERVICE ON 2 SEPARATE OCCASIONS FOR THIS ISSUE, AND HAS YET BE RESOLVED. *TR
The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, there was an abnormal shuddering sound coming from the engine compartment. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the transmission was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 70,000.

I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY IN THE EARLY EVENING, APPROX 55 DEGREES, FAIR WEATHER, A/C AND HEAT OFF, SMOOTH ROADWAY. SUDDENLY THE SUNROOF GLASS EXPLODED WITH A VERY LOUD GUNSHOT-LIKE NOISE. THERE WAS A LARGE HOLE IN THE SUNROOF WITH SOME GLASS CHUNKS IN THE INTERIOR. MOST OF THE GLASS APPEARED TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE AS IF IT EXPLODED OUTWARD. THE SUNROOF SHADE WAS OPEN AT THE TIME BUT THE SUNROOF ITSELF WAS CLOSED. I PULLED OVER AND LOOKED INSIDE THE CAR FOR ROCKS OR OTHER OBJECTS BUT FOUND NONE. I TOOK PHOTOS. *TR
WHOLE FRONT END OF VEHICLE SHAKING WHEN TRYING TO MOVE FORWARD. BAD TRANSMISSION FLUID BURNING SMELL. ONCE MOVING EVERY TIME IT SHIFTED BETWEEN GEARS IT WOULD SHAKE THE FRONT END OF CAR. AFTER THIS INCIDENT AND STARTING THE CAR THE NEXT DAY IT RAN FINE UNTIL IT WARMED UP. WHEN TRYING TO MAKE APPOINTMENT TO HAVE REPAIRED WAS TOLD IT CAN TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 1 - 6 MONTHS FOR THIS TO HAPPENING EVEN THOUGH I HAVE JUST HAVE THE CAR IN THE WEEK BEFORE TO SAME ISSUE JUST NOT A BAD. THEY DID TAKE IT IN AFTER MAKING MANY COMPLAINTS BUT I DON'T THINK I WILL SEE IT FOR AT LEAST A MONTH AND SUSPECT IT WILL HAVE A NEW TRANS IN IT WHEN I GET IT BACK. IT WILL FAIL AGAIN AND AGAIN. 10/25/14 PURCHASED FORD FIESTA, FROM FLETCHER JONES IMPORTS. ON 10/28/14 FIESTA WOULD NOT START AND WAS TOWED BACK TO FLETCHER JONES. ON 12/15/14 FIESTA WOULD NOT START AND WAS TOWED TO FRIENDLY FORD DEALER. ON FEBRUARY 2 FIESTA WOULD NOT START AND AGAIN TOWED TO FRIENDLY FORD DEALER; WHERE, AT THE WRITING OF THIS FIESTA COMPLIANT { 2/05/15} IS STILL AT FRIENDLY FORD DEALER. IT JUST RECENTLY STARTED SHIFTING ROUGH, JUMPING, LURCHING, SPUTTERING WHILE ACCELERATING FROM A DEAD STOP. ABOUT TO GO TO THE DEALER FOR THE FIRST TIME ABOUT THE ISSUE. NOT HAPPY. THE VEHICLE SHAKES DURING SHIFTING. SOMETIMES THERE IS A LOSS OF POWER. OTHER TIMES THE CAR ACCELERATES MORE THAN EXPECTED. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. I FEEL THAT IF THE CAR DOES NOT RESPOND PREDICTABLY, THERE IS A RISK OF ACCIDENT. ON OCTOBER 9TH 2014, MY NEW FORD FIESTA AT 7500 MILES BEGAN SHUTTERING VIOLENTLY AT LOW SPEEDS. IT JERKED THE CAR BACKWARD WHEN TRYING TO DRIVE IN REVERSE, AND IT JERKED THE VEHICLE FORWARD WHEN TAKING OFF AT A SAFE AND NORMAL ACCELERATION FROM A RED LIGHT. IT FELT LIKE THE TRANSMISSION WAS ABOUT TO FALL OUT FROM UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. MY MOTHER AND GIRLFRIEND WERE IN THE VEHICLE WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND THIS INCIDENT PRESENTED A GREAT SAFETY CONCERN. DUE TO BEING IN THE MILITARY, I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER 2014 TO TAKE MY CAR TO FORD. THEY TESTED THE VEHICLE AND SAID THAT THEY RECOGNIZED THE SHUDDER I COMPLAINED ABOUT AND THEY RESET THE COMPUTER IN THE VEHICLE. ON THE REPORT THEY SAID THE VEHICLE WAS IN FACTORY SPECS, SO AS A RESULT OF THAT REPORT, THEY DIDN'T ORDER NEW CLUTCHES AND SEALS WHICH WAS EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THOSE NEW PARTS WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM. INSTEAD THEY JUST DID A TEMPORARY FIX BY RESETTING THE COMPUTER IN ORDER TO GET ME OUT THE DOOR. I PICKED UP THE CAR DECEMBER 5TH 2014 AND 6 DAYS LATER THE SHUDDER RETURNED. NOW I HAVE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN TO A FORD DEALERSHIP ON MONDAY MARCH 30TH 2015 AND THE AGENT THERE SAID THAT IF THE TEST COMES BACK THAT THE CAR IS IN FACTORY SPECS THEY WONT MAKE ANY REPAIRS ON THE VEHICLE AND CALL ME TO PICK UP MY BROKEN VEHICLE. THIS WILL RESULT IN ME DRIVING A SAFETY HAZARD VEHICLE THAT I STILL OWE $17,000 ON WITH NO REPAIRS BEING DONE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I NEED HELP! CAR JERKS AND SHUDDERS WHEN ACCELERATING, AND HAS BEEN THIS WAY SINCE SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASE. SOMETIMES WHEN PUSHING DOWN ON THE ACCELERATOR, THE CAR DOESN'T MOVE FORWARD FOR AS LONG AS 7 SECONDS, WHEN IT WILL FINALLY JERK FORWARD ABRUPTLY. THE CAR FREQUENTLY BUCKS FORWARD EVEN WHILE BRAKING OR COASTING. FORD HAS 'REPROGRAMMED' THE CAR MANY TIMES AND REPLACED THE CLUTCH AND ENTIRE TRANSMISSION AT LEAST ONCE OR TWICE. THIS ONLY FIXED THE ISSUE TEMPORARILY, BUT IT RETURNED IN A FEW WEEKS.

WHEN WE TAKE OFF FROM A STOP SIGN . THE CAR STUTTERS,LOSES POWER LIKE IT IS GOING TO STALL. HAS A ROLL BACK ISSUE FROM A STOP ON A HILL. ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2014 , DRIVING ON RESIDENTIAL ROAD AT 40 MPH , WITH NO PRIOR WARNING ALL VEHICLE CONSOLE LIGHTS LID UP AND DASH CONSOLE SHOWED AN ERROR "IMMOBILIZER FAILURE". STEERING AND BRAKES BEGAN TO WORSEN MAKING THE VEHICLE INOPERABLE.THIS WHILE CROSSING A BUSY INTERSECTION IN WHICH THANKFULLY THE LIGHT WAS TURNED IN MY FAVOR .THIS WAS VERY SCARY AND COULD HAVE LEAD TO A TRAGIC EVENT . WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT AND ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE THE CAR HESITATED AND DID A JUMPING LIKE SHUDDER/SHAKING. IT STOPPED AFTER THE CAR WAS JUST ABOVE THE 20 MPH MARK. SINCE IT DID NOT HAPPENED AGAIN FOR A FEW WEEKS DID NOT TAKE IT INTO CONSIDERATION, AND DID NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER. EVERY TIME I TRY TO GIVE MY CAR GAS, IT DOESN;'T MOVE RIGHT AWAY AND STARTS TO SPUTTER BEFORE IT WILL GO ANYWHERE. SAME GOES FOR SLOWING DOWN AND PRESSING THE GAS AGAIN. I WROTE A LETTER TO FORD MOTOR COMPANY REGARDING THE OPTIMO H426 TIRE MANUFACTURED BY HANKOOK ON MY NEW 2014 FORD FIESTA THAT WAS PURCHASED IN JANUARY 2014. I FELT THAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN UNDER WARRANTY SINCE THE BUBBLE WAS LOCATED ON THE SIDE WALL OF THE TIRE AND NOT ON THE TREAD.
