WHILE DRIVING BACK DRIVER SIDE WHEEL DISENGAGED AND CAME OFF THE VEHICLE. LUGS/NUTS AND BOLTS WERE STILL ATTACHED TO THE WHEEL. *AK
STEERING PINCH BOLT POPPED OUT, AND THE FRONT TIRE ROLLED INTO THE FRONT FENDER WELD. AS A RESULT, VEHICLE LOST STEERING. NO CRASH OCCURRED BECAUSE VEHICLE WAS IN THE DRIVEWAY AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. STEERING PINCH BOLT RECALL 02V28900 WAS ISSUED, BUT THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN RECALL DUE TO VIN. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH THE VEHICLE SPUTTERED AND STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FUEL TANK WAS HALF FULL. THE DRIVER PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY AND TRIED TO RESTART THE VEHICLE TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO REPLACED THE FUEL DELIVERY MODULE. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *NLM CONSUMER NOTED THIS FAILURE WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY UNSAFE HAD IT HAPPENED AROUND OTHER VEHICLES. *PH *NM
REAR WHEEL BEARINGS WORE OUT WITHIN 22,000 MILES. THE BEARINGS HAD BEEN REPLACED UNDER RECALL 01I017000 , BUT FAILED AGAIN. *AK THE CONSUMER STATED THE FUEL GAUGE STARTED AT HALF A TANK AND THEN WENT TO THE FULL MARK. THE DEALER REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP. *JB
BATTERY CABLE SHORTED OUT. ALSO, THERE WERE SOME BROKEN WIRES IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. RECALLS WERE ISSUED FOR BOTH OF THESE FAILURES. *AK THE MANUFACTURER INDICATED THT THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALLS DUE TO VIN. THE THROTTLE BODY CABLE MALFUNTIONED. *NM
THE VEHICLE BURN OIL EXCESSIVELY WHILE DRIVING. UPON INSPECTION BY THE MECHANIC, THE HEAD GASKETS WERE LEAKING. PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS. *PH
THE CONSUMER NOTICED THAT ALL ELECTRICAL TAIL-LIGHTS AND LIGHTS INSIDE THE VEHICLE WERE LOST. UPON INSPECTION BY THE MECHANIC ON THE VEHICLE, AN ELECTRICAL WIRE WAS FOUND TO HAVE A SHORT. PLEASE DESCRIBE DETAILS. *PH
THE AIR CONDITIONER UNIT FAILED, WATER DRAINED IN THE CABIN FROM UNDERNEATH THE DASHBOARD. WHEN THIS OCCURRED, MOLD STARTED TO DEVELOP ON THE CARPET, WHICH MADE THE OCCUPANTS SICK. THE DEALERSHIP HAD BLOWN OUT THE PIPES, BUT THE PROBLEM REMAINED. *AK *SC *JB
ENGINE CHECK LIGHT ILLUMINATED, AND VEHICLE HESITATED WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE. DEALER DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS AN ELECTRONIC MALFUNCTION WITHIN THE VEHICLE WHICH WAS SENDING INCORRECT CODES TO THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE. *AK
VEHICLE LOOSES POWER AT HIGHWAY SPEED. WHEN GOING AROUND CORNERS IF DRIVER STEPS ON ACCELERATOR THERE IS NO POWER. THEN, ENGINE REGAINS POWER. *AK
THE KEY IGNITION CYLINDER WAS REPLACED ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. FORD WAS NOT WILLING TO ASSIST IN THE REPAIRS OF THIS PROBLEM. THE WARRANTY EXPIRED THREE MONTHS AGO. *AK *SCC *JB
VEHICLE EXPERIENCED BRAKE PROBLEMS, IT MADE A LOUD NOISE WHILE DRIVING, AND OXYGEN SENSOR FAILED. ALSO, ENGINE PROBLEMS. OIL WAS LEAKING FROM THE OIL PAN UNDER THE MOTOR. OWNER WAS REFERRED TO THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE TO SEEK PROTECTION UNDER THE LEMON LAW. *AK
REAR BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT COME ON WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES. OWNER WAS TOLD THAT WIRES BURNED. ALL OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WERE FINE, EXCEPT THE BRAKE LIGHTS.*AK
CONSUMER NOTICED THAT WHEN SHIFTING TRANSMISSION FROM THIRD GEAR TO FOURTH GEAR VEHICLE LOST POWER/ STALLED. *AK
VEHICLE RUNS OUT OF GAS, EVEN WHEN THERE ARE 2 TO 5 GALLONS REMAINING IN THE TANK. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH. VEHICLE DISENGAGES, MAKING IT A SAFETY HAZARD TO MOVE TO THE RIGHT WHILE AT THAT SPEED. THIS IS THE SECOND EXPERIENCE OF THIS TYPE.*AK
REAR PASSENGER DOOR ON DRIVER'S SIDE INADVERTENTLY OPENED WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH. REAR PASSENGER DOOR ALSO OPENED INADVERTENTLY WHILE VEHICLE WAS TURNING ONTO THE OFF RAMP. ALTHOUGH THE CHILD SAFETY LATCH WAS ON, THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR AGAIN CAME AJAR. *AK CHILD HIT DOOR WITH ELBOW CAUSING THE DOOR TO OPEN, ALSO A BAG OF GROCERIES FELL AGAINST THE DOOR CAUSING THE DOOR TO OPEN. *TS TIRE ROLLED AGAINST THE DOOR WHILE ON THE OFF RAMP AND ROLLED OUT THE DOOR ONTO THE HIGHWAY. CONSUMER HAD TO STOP AND CHASE IT DOWN. *PH
WHEN SHIFTING IN BETWEEN GEARS VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED. VEHICLE HAD TO BE SHUT OFF TO STOP. THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED. *AK
UPON ENTERING THE VEHICLE KEY WOULD NOT TURN THE IGNITION. VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER. *AK
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SLIPS GEARS WHILE DRIVING CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO JERK. ALSO, A SQUEAKING NOISE IS HEARD WHEN APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. DEALER ATTEMPTED TO FIX THE TRANSMISSION AND THE BRAKES BUT HAS NOT REMEDIED THE PROBLEMS. *AK
CONSUMER ATTEMPTED TO START VEHICLE, BUT VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. DRIVER GOT OUT OF VEHICLE AND NOTICED GAS ON THE GROUND. TOOK VEHICLE TO FORD, FORD REPLACED SOME GASKETS. *AK
WHILE TRAVELING AT 10 MPH CONSUMER'S VEHICLE HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE HEAD ON THAT WAS TRAVELING AT 50 MPH. ALL AIRBAGS DEPLOYED; HOWEVER, CONSUMER SUSTAINED SECOND DEGREE BURNS ON HANDS FROM AIRBAG. *AK
CONSUMER WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH ROTORS RUSTING. DEALER WAS CONTACTED, AND STATED THAT ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, BUT DID NOT EXPLAIN AS WHY THIS HAPPENED. *AK
PROBLEM WITH VEHICLE'S FRONT SPRINGS ON 2000 FORD FOCUS.*MR FRONT END COIL SPRINGS FAILED.*TS
HEATER BLOWER RESISTOR EXPERIENCED THE SAME DEFECT AS STATED IN RECALL 01 V 230 000, BUT THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED BY RECALL DUE TO VIN. *AK
BATTERY CABLE EXPERIENCED THE SAME DEFECT AS STATED IN RECALL 02 V 288 000, BUT THIS VEHICLE NOT COVERED UNDER RECALL DUE TO VIN. *AK
STEERING WHEEL CONTINUOUSLY LOCKS UP WHILE IN USE. CAUSE OF THE FAILURE IS UNDETERMINED. *AK
TWO REAR DOORS DO NOT CLOSE ALL THE WAY AND POP OPEN. DEALER ATTEMPTED TO FIX THE PROBLEM BY LUBRICATING THE LATCH, BUT THE PROBLEM HAS RETURNED. *AK
VAUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SLIPPING GEARS WHILE DRIVING. DEALERSHIP DID A DIAGNOSTIC TEST.*AK

KEYS GOT LOCKED IN THE IGNITION BECAUSE THE IGNITION LOCK BROKE AND TUMBLER BENT PER DEALERSHIP.*AK
CONSUMER STATES WHEN AIR CONDITIONING IS ON AND VEHICLE IS IDLING T MOTOR STARTS MISSING. CAUSE IS UNKNOWN. *AK
CONSUMER STATES THAT THERE IS A THUMPING NOISE WHILE DRIVING, CAUSE UNKNOWN. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND THE DEALER STATED ROTORS NEED REPLACING. *AK
THE RECALLS ON VEHICLE HAD FAILED AFTER MECHANIC INDICATED THAT THE RECALLS WERE NOT NEEDED IN DRY CLIMATE AND REFUSED TO DO THEM. HAD TAKEN VEHICLE BACK TO DEALERSHIP AT LEAST 3 TIMES FOR REPAIRS. THE MECHANIC HAD SUPPOSED TO HAVE ORDERED PARTS EACH TIME BUT FAILED TO DO SO. NEEDED PARTS FOR THE BATTERY CABLE (RECALL CAMPAIGN #02V288000), THE REAR WHEEL BEARINGS RECALL CAMPAIGN #01I017000 AND THE BALL JOINTS. PARTS WERE NEVER ORDERED.*AK
VEHICLE HAD 12000 MILES WHEN CONSUMER ATTEMPTED TO START, BUT KEY WOULD NOT TURN. DEALER DIAGNOSED PROBLEM AS FAILED IGNITION SWITCH AND REPLACED IT. AT 40000 MILES PROBLEM OCCURRED AGAIN, AND DEALER DIAGNOSED AND REPLACED IGNITION SWITCH.*AK
THE VEHICLE LOST POWER/HESITATED AND SOMETIMES STALLED WHEN IN MOTION AND ALLOWED THE FUEL TANK TO DROP BELOW 1/4 FULL. (VEHICLE WILL NOT RUN) THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THE PROBLEM WAS THE FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM. *AK *SCC *JB

CONSUMER CALLED COMPLAINING ABOUT HAVING FUEL PUMP PROBLEMS. STATED THAT HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER, AND THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY HAD A PROBLEM WITH THAT ON SOME VEWHICLES, BUT THEE WAS NO RECALL. SO CONSUMER WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET. *AK
EVENFLO 5 IN 1 INFANT SEAT. MODEL NUMBER 5751292P1. PROBLEMS GETTING BASE OF CHILD SEAT INSTALLED. *MR WHEN USING THE LATCH, THE YELLOW BASE ADJUSTER HIT THE RIGHT TOP OF THE LATCH ANCHOR. WHEN THE STRAP WAS TIGHTENED IT BROUGHT THE FRONT OF THE BASE UP OFF THE VEHICLE SEAT AND THE BABY'S HEAD FLOPPED FORWARD. *TT *JB
