Multiple mechanics working at and including but not limited to: Firestone, discount tires, Midas, Walmart, independent mechanics have informed me the rear wheels can not be realigned with the front wheels due to how it was designed. This has caused my rear wheels to become more and more out of alignment with no way to repair the misalignment. So all steering components have been more and more hard to control and are being destroyed at a faster rate. Including but not limited to: car sound deadening stuff. Bolts, nuts, screws, undercarriage, tire wear, the front alignment etc. It has not been inspected by anyone but mechanics.
On June 22 myself and my wife were pulling out of the Food Lion Parking Lot. As we proceeded out to the main Road the gas pedal stuck. The car kept accelerating and know matter what I did I could free the gas pedal. Because of that we hit 3 cars in the intersection. Our car literally exploded putting Myself and my wife in the hospital .My wife has had 3 surgeries for a broken pelvis.She is still in serious condition.Myself I suffered 3 broken ribs and a lacerated liver. Ford should be held accountable for our terrible pain and suffering.?
The contact owns a 2010 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while driving at slow speeds, the air bag warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the air bag was flopping around. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but no assistance was provided. The contact called the local dealer, where it was determined that the air bag needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.
Today, I took my Ford Focus in for service(05/25/2022). I had the oil changed and my vehicle tires rotated.While the service was being performed,I was informed my tire lug nuts were loose and defective in most cases.My advisor told me I should replaced all the lug nuts for safety as she knew of a Ford recall involving the lug nuts. I discovered there was no recall,but there was a class- action lawsuit that was dismissed in 2019.I looked at the old lugs and decided to not keep them on the vehicle and had new ones installed.I have the old lugs nuts for inspection if needed.I do not want to take a chance on my vehicle safety,so that is why I had them replaced.
Both rear doors will not stay closed as the latches do not work. The doors will swing open when driving if not secured with a strap, making it unsafe to have passengers in the back seat. Other models and different years of the same model have had recalls issued for the same issue. I haven't taken it to be inspected as I cannot afford to pay $140 at the dealership for the diagnosis. I did not own the vehicle when the issue first occurred so I don't know if there were any warning signals prior to the issue appearing.

SAFETY ISSUE 3 OF DOORS WILL NOT OPEN FROM OUTSIDE IN A ACCIDENT IF THE DRIVER SIDE DAMAGED THERE WILL NO WAY TO OPEN DOORS FROM OUTSIDE THIS SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR A RECALL
Three out of four 215/45/r17 Douglas tires bought at Walmart in Piqua oho ended up with bubbles on the sidewall a week after the year from the day they were bought. one right after the other. When i went to have them replaced at a discounted price, i could not because i had to put a spare tire on (it is considerably smaller) causing the tread on one tire to be slightly uneven from the others. so this voided the warranty. Now tell me how passenger side and driver side front tires both end up with sidewall bubbles and one blows out within a week apart? Nothing changed in my driving routine. Bought two nearly new tires to maintain my ability to get around, and a third tire develops a bubble and had to be replaced. The last tire is slowly leaking!? i drive to work and back. I live less than 2 mins from my place of employment. i do still have my paperwork from buying the tires. btw the warranty was never registered correctly because when i tried to call about it they had no idea where to find it. i had to send all sorts of paperwork to them and still got no results.
The contact owns a 2010 Ford Focus. The contact stated that after he shifted the gear shifter to Park(P), the vehicle lunged and rolled backward as he was exiting the vehicle. The contact's right leg was stuck inside of the vehicle, causing him to fall to the ground while the driver's side front tire ran over his right arm. A bystander jumped into the vehicle and was able to park vehicle. The contact later received medical attention for injuries to his legs, right arm, and back, and was diagnosed with a blood infection. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V413000 (Power Train) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred while the contact was parking the vehicle and he applied the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.
I WAS SEVERELY INJURED WHEN A VEHICLE TURNED IN FRONT OF ME WHILE GOING 40 MPH I SLAMMED ONTO THE BRAKE SO HARD I BROKE MY TOE AS I T BONED THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE ALL OF HER AIRBAGS DEPLOYED MINE DID NOT MY FACE SLAMMED THE STEERING WHEEL SO HARD MY HEAD SLAMMED INTO THE HEAD REST BEHIND ME. MY INJURIES SO FAR ARE A CONCUSSION, FRACTURES BENT NOSE, A JAW STRAIN AND POSSIBLE FRACTURED MY TWO FRONT TEETH, NECK INJURY AND WHIPLASH, AND A MUSCULAR ISSUE WITH MY RIGHT SHOULDER. I WAS TOLD BY FORD DEALER MECHANIC I HAD BAD LUG NUTS BECAUSE THEY SWELLED AND THEIR WRENCHES COULD NOT FIT THEM. HE SAID I NEEDED ALL OF THEM REPLACED FOR SAFETY SAKE. IGNITION SWITCH BINDING UP AND THE SWITCH WILL NOT START THE CAR WHEN TURNING THE KEY IN THE SWITCH! *BF VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED.*JB
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE GAS PEDAL NO LONGER ACCELERATES THE VEHICLE ON OCCASION, WOW STUCK IN TRAFFIC OR AT A STOPLIGHT THE CAR SHUTS ITSELF OFF AFTER HAVING A HIGH IDLE. *TR

The contact stated that intermittently, after starting the vehicle and while driving at various speeds, the clutch pedal was depressed to the floorboard and the vehicle was unable to shift gear as needed. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The contact was made aware that the clutch assembly had previously been replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The approximate failure mileage was 179,000.
I WENT TO USE MY KEYLESS ENTRY AND IT WOULDN'T WORK I ASSUMED IT WAS THE BATTERY SO I CHANGED IT STILL DOESN'T WORK.SO I WAS HAVING TO UNLOCK IT BY THE KEY. I WENT TO UNLOCK MY CAR AND THE KEY WOULD ONLY TURN HALF WAY SO I HAD TO CALL A LOCK SMITH TO UNLOCK MY CAR. NOW I CANT OPEN MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE NOR CAN I LOCK MY CAR PERIOD THE LOCK BUTTON DOESN'T UNLOCK ALL THE LOCKS SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T UNLOCK ANY AND THE TWO BACK DOORS WONT EVEN OPEN HALF THE TIME EITHER
WHILE DRIVING THE TRANSMISSION SHOULD SHIFT UP AND DOWN AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR WAS SHUTTER THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REBUILT IT HAD TO BE OVERHAULED
WHEN TRAVELING IN REVERSE AT A VERY SLOW SPEED (BETWEEN 1 & 4 MPH) THE CAR CONTINUES TO TRAVEL FOR ABOUT A SECOND OR TWO WHILE DEPRESSING THE BRAKE. THIS HAS HAPPENED INTERMITTENTLY SINCE THE CAR WAS PURCHASED NEW FROM THE DEALER. IT IS MORE LIKELY TO HAPPEN WHEN THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING AND/OR WHEN IT IS COLD OUTSIDE, BUT CAN HAPPEN OTHER TIMES. IT IS FAIRLY INFREQUENT. I HAVE HAD A FORD DEALERSHIP CHECK IT, BUT NOTHING WAS EVER FOUND. IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN FROM TIME TO TIME AND HAPPENED RECENTLY. MY CONCERN IS THAT THIS USUALLY OCCURS IN A PARKING LOT WHEN BACKING OUT OF A SPACE. IF A PERSON OR CAR COMES BEHIND ME WHILE I AM REVERSING, THE BRAKES MAY NOT IMMEDIATELY WORK WHEN I TRY TO STOP SUDDENLY.
I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH FORD HAD MY CAR TOWED OVER SO THEY CAN DO A DIAGNOSIS ON THE TRANSMISSION WHICH THEY CHARGED ME ME $110.00 DOLLARS AND.I HIGHLY DOUBT THEY EVEN CHECKED THE VEHICLE I HAD TO TOW IT BACK TO MY HOUSE. THEY TRIED CHARGING ME.$4000 FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION WHICH THEY ARE AWARE IT'S DEFECTIVE ON FOCUS AND FIESTA MODELS INSTEAD OF TELLING ME THAT THEY WENT AND LET ME SPEND $300 PLUS DOLLARS ON NOTHING I HAD TRIED TO CHANGE OUT TRANSMISSION OIL AND IT WORKED FOR A WHILE. I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT ON A GRANT. AND I FEEL FORD RISKED MY LIFE BY NOT INFORMING ME HOW BAD THE TRANSMISSION IS ON THIS VEHICLE PLUS ON MY SERVICE HISTORY THEY LIED AND SAID THEY SERVICED MY CAR WHICH IS NOT THE CASE.
ONE AFTERNOON I GOT IN MY CAR WENT TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN AND MY BLINKER WAS BLINKING FASTER THEN NORMAL. THAT NIGHT I WAS PULLED OVER BECAUSE I HAD NO BRAKE LIGHT ON THE RIGHT SIDE NOR DID I HAVE A BLINKER. THE NEXT FOLLOWING DAY I GOT TO LOOKING AT MY TAIL LIGHT TO CHANGE IT TO MY SURPRISE MY TAIL LIGHTS WAS I TAPPED THE LIGHT COVER AND THE LIGHTS WENT OUT THE BULB WAS BLACK. I CHECKED TO MAKE SURE MY CONTROL KNOB WAS ON THE OFD POSITION WHICH IT WAS. THE HEAD LIGHTS WOULD ONLY COME ON IF I TURNED TO CONTROL TO ON POISTION. I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FOR 5 YEARS NOW I HAVE NEVER REPLACED THE LEFT SIDE HEAD OR TAIL LIGHT BUT I HAVE CHANGED TO RIGHT SIDE TWICE.
MY YELLOW WENCH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON,I WAS STOPPED AT A 4 WAY CITY INTERSECTION AND WHEN I STEPPED ON THE GAS PEDAL THE CAR WOULD NOT PICK UP ANY SPEED. I WAS STUCK WITH TRAFFIC BEHIND ME. I HAD TO GO THROUGH THE INTERSECTION AT IDLE SPEED PULL OFF THE ROAD, TURN THE CAR OFF AND WAIT A FEW SECONDS THEN RESTART IT. I WAS THEN ABLE TO DRIVE IT AND THE YELLOW CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS NO LONGER ON.THE YELLOW LIGHT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON BEFORE AND I HAD GOODYEAR AND AUTO ZONE CHECK IT ON THEIR COMPUTER AND IT CAME UP WITH CODE P2135 THROTTLE SENSOR. THE GUY AT AUTO ZONE TOLD ME TO ENTER THAT CODE ON UTUBE AND SEE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DID TO FIX THE ISSUE. THERE ARE MANY STORIES ON YOUTUBE ETC REGARDING THIS ISSUE. IT SEEMS TO BE A WIDELY KNOW ISSUE AND ON ANOTHER FORD CAR THEY HAD A RECALL FOR IT. I TOOK MY CAR TO THE FORD DEALER AND THEY KEPT IT FOR A FEW DAYS,THEY TOLD ME SINCE THEY COULD NOT GET THE YELLOW LIGHT TO COME ON THEY CAN NOT TELL WHAT THE ISSUE IS AND THEREFORE NOT FIX IT? IT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE IT IN THIS CONDITION.
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ON A WINDY DAY AND THE HOOD CAME UP AND SMASHED THE WINDSHIELD STOP. BENT THE HOOD
I'VE REPLACED MY MOTOR MOUNTS THREE TIMES WITHIN 4 MONTHS. MY CAR STILL IS SHAKING, MY HEAT AND AIR ONLY WORKS ON THE RIGHT SIDE, UNDER MY HOOD SOUNDS LIKE A TICKING NOISE. THIS IS ALL WHILE PARKED. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO
"TAKATA RECALL" COMPUTER OR CLUSTER GIVES OFF SENOR LIGHTS AND IT'S NOT THE PROBLEM(SUCH AS EMERGENCY BRAKE ON, AND MANY MORE). A FORD DEALER HAS REPLACE, CLUSTER,WIRING HARNESS, CONTROL BOX AND DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND CLAIMS THEY CAN'T DO ANYMORE, BUT CALLED A FORD ENGINEER WHO DOES NOT RETURN CALLS, PER DEALER.
MIL COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY WITH A P0451 (3-4 DRIVING CYCLES AFTER A COLD START ) DTC, NO OBVIOUS REPAIR CONDITIONS PRESENT. ROUGH IDLE, POWER LOSS, HESITATION, DECREASE IN MILEAGE. ISSUES GO AWAY ON THEIR OWN AFTER PCM RESET, COME BACK SHORTLY AFTER MIL SETS AGAIN. MIL GOES OFF RANDOMLY, AND PROBLEMS GO AWAY SHORTLY AFTER. HAVE RUN MULTIPLE DIAGNOSTICS AND NO REPAIR ISSUES FOUND. WAS TOLD THE PCM ITSELF MIGHT NEED TO BE REPLACED OR REPROGRAMMED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD FOCUS. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND THE CONTACT WAS INSIDE THE VEHICLE, ALL FOUR DOORS WOULD NOT UNLOCK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE KEY FOBIK COULD NOT UNLOCK THE DOORS AND THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN WHEN PROMPTED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE DOOR FINALLY OPENED WITH THE KEY FOBIK. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO CLIMB OUT OF THE VEHICLE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR HAD A HISTORY OF BECOMING STUCK AND REMAINED LOCKED AFTER THE CONTACT EXITED THE VEHICLE. A DEALER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200,000.
WHENEVER I START MY CAR, THE RPM'S ARE BETWEEN 2-3 AND IT TAKES A COUPLE MINUTES TO REACH THE NORMAL IDLING RPM RATE. THE ENGINE ALSO MAKES CLICKING NOISES AND IS LOUDER THAN USUAL AND JUST DOES NOT SOUND RIGHT. AND PREVIOUSLY, MY CAR HAS RANDOMLY STALLED AND JUST TURNED OFF WHILE THE BATTERY STAYED RUNNING WHILE MAKING A RIGHT TURN OR JUST IDLING AT A STOP LIGHT. MOSTLY, MY CARS ENGINE JUST TURNS OFF WHILE RUNNING IT IN THE DRIVEWAY IN THE MORNING WHILE THE BATTERY STAYS ON. IT HAS NOT STALLED IN AWHILE BUT THERE IS STILL SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE ENGINE AND THE RPMS. ALSO SOMETIMES, A WRENCH LIGHT APPEARS ON THE DASHBOARD WHEN I AM EXPERIENCING THE PROBLEM.

THE IGNITION SWITCH DOESN'T WORK. YOU CAN TURN THE KEY ON, BUT IT WILL NOT MAKE THE CONNECTION TO TURN THE ENGINE OVER. WE HAVE PUSHED THE KEY IN AND TURNED IT ON, BUT STILL NOTHING. WHEN THE KEY IS IN THE ON POSITION EVERYTHING WORKS (RADIO, LIGHTS, AIR, WINDOWS, ETC.) EVERYTHING BUT THE ENGINE! WHEN SEARCHING THIS ON THE INTERNET, I HAVE NOTICED THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.
ON AUGUST 7, 2018, I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT TRAVELING ABOUT 30-35MPH WHEN ANOTHER DRIVER RAN A STOP LIGHT CAUSING ME TO HIT THE SIDE OF THEIR CAR WITH THE FRONT OF MY CAR. MY AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND I SUSTAINED AN ACUTE HEAD INJURY, NECK AND BACK SORENESS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY MY AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY?
ENGINE STALLS WHILE DRIVING AND WILL NOT RESTART. I SUSPECT THAT IT IS RELATED TO SIMILAR ISSUES DRIVERS ARE HAVING WITH THE EVAP CANISTER PURGE VALVE IN OTHER MODEL YEARS: "THE CANISTER PURGE VALVE MAY MALFUNCTION AND CREATE EXCESSIVE VACUUM IN THE FUEL VAPOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, WHICH CAN RESULT IN THE ENGINE STALLING WITHOUT RESTARTING. DEALERS WILL REPROGRAM THE POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE AND REPLACE THE CANISTER PURGE VALVE AS NEEDED. IF THE VALVE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, DEALERS WILL ALSO INSPECT AND REPLACE THE CARBON CANISTER, FUEL TANK AND FUEL DELIVERY MODULE AS DETERMINED TO BE NEEDED. ALL REPAIRS WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE TO RESOLVE THE CONCERN."
DOOR WILL NOT CLOSE, LOOKS LIKE THE PAWL SPRING TAB HAS BROKEN. WILL NOT LOCK OR CLOSE, MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE FOR BACK SEAT PASSENGERS. HAPPENS WHEN STATIONARY OR IN MOTION
WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS THE ENGINE (35 MPH) THE ENGINE LOST POWER AND DROPPED IN SPEED YO A FEW MPR. SHUT ENGINE DOWN AND THEN RESTARTED THE ENGINE I DROVE ABOUT A MILE AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN ONLY THIS TIME THE ENGINE ICON LITE CAME ON. I THEN CALLED FOR A WRECKER WHICH TOWED THE CAR TO THE DEALER. THERE THEY SAID IT WAS THE E THROTTLE BODY.
I TURNED ON THE ENGINE IN THE MORNING AND THE CAR SEEM TO START FINE, BUT WHEN I PUT THE GEAR SELECTOR IN REVERSE AND PRESSED THE GAS PEDAL SUDDENLY THE CHECK ENGINE CAME ON AND THE CAR STARTED SHAKING VIOLENTLY, I INSTANTLY TURNED OFF THE CAR AFTER A FEW SECONDS I TRIED TURNING THE CAR BACK ON, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT AWAY, AND IT SEEM TO WORK FINE AFTER THAT, BUT THIS NOW HAPPENS ON A DAILY BASES AT RANDOM TIMES OF THE DAY, I CHECKED THE CAR WITH AN OBD2 SCAN TOOL AND IT HAD CODES P2111 AND P2135 THIS KEEPS HAPPENING EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE GAS PEDAL AND THE THROTTLE BODY
The contact owns a 2010 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the RMP increased and revved causing the vehicle to crash into an unoccupied vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. No injuries were sustained. The contact stated there was a minor scratch on the front of her vehicle. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened, and advised the contact to call the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 14,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE. VEHICLE STALLED. TRIED TO RESTART IT, WOULD NOT FIRE UP. IT THEN CAUGHT ON FIRE ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY (I-87N, EXIT 17/MOREAU) VEHICLE WAS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR OTHER INDICATION OF TROUBLE, TEMPERATURE GAUGE NEVER SHOWED ANY PROBLEM. NOT SURE IF THIS IS RELATED TO OTHER FORD ENGINE FIRES (DUE TO OVERHEATING/LOSS OF COOLANT) OR WHAT EXACTLY CAUSED IT. INSURANCE DID NOT DO AN INSPECTION (I OWNED THE CAR OUTRIGHT AND ONLY HAD LIABILITY COVERAGE) AND FORD TOTALLY BLEW ME OFF. HAVE PICTURES, BUT THEY LOOK LIKE ANY OTHER CAR WITH AN ENGINE FIRE.
I JUST GOT THIS CAR, HAD FRONT END CHECKED AND I GOT TO REPLACE SWAY BARS, CONTROL ARMS, TIE RODS, BOTH INNER AND OUTER. CAR ONLY HAS 129K MI ON IT. NOT TO MUCH THE CAR CONSTANTLY SWAYS NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER IS. MY TPMS IS ALSO THROWING ERRORS.
2010 FORD FOCUS DOORS DO NOT OPEN AT ALL FROM THE OUTSIDE OR INSIDE OF THE CAR . THE REMOTE WILL NOT DISENGAGE AND WILL KEEP DOORS LOCKED. A PERSON CANNOT JUST PULL ON THE HANDLE INSIDE OR THE LOCK STEM TO UNLOCK THE DOORS. THE DOOR ACTUATOR ON ALL FOUR DOORS NEED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO DUST GOING INSIDE THE MECHANICAL PARTS AND OIL'S CREATING MUD ISSUES. FORD MECHANIC ADVISED THAT THEY SEEN LOTS OF FORD FOCUSES WITH THE SAME ISSUE COSTING THE CUSTOMER A FINANCIAL BURDEN DUE TO A FAULTY DESIGN WHICH FORD UPDATED THE ORIGINAL DESIGN TO FIX THE ISSUE, ADMITTING TO THE BAD DESIGN SOLD TO THE PUBLIC. PEOPLE WERE TRAPPED IN THE CAR AND CANNOT GET OUT DUE TOO DOORS NOT DISENGAGING, THE HANDLES ARE STIFF/LOCKED

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

THE DEALER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT HER VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE CONTACT INQUIRED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER , BUT WAS DENIED. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO NHTSA. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V643000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 72,000.

MY 2010 FORD FOCUS SES DOOR SYSTEM ISN'T WORKING OUT OF NO WHERE. SOMETIMES MY DOOR LOCKS WON'T LOCK, SOMETIMES THEY WON'T UNTIL TO THE POINT I CAN GET OUT OF MY CAR. THE OWNER BEFORE ALSO HAD THIS PROBLEM AND GOT THEM FIXED. NOW MY REAR DOOR WON'T OPEN AT ALL. A COUPLE PEOPLE I'VE TALKED TO THEY REPORT SIMILAR THINGS. THIS A HUGE SAFETY PROBLEM.. I HAVE A FOUR YEAR OLD IS SCARY KNOWING SOMETHING COULD HAPPENED I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GET HER OUT BECAUSE OF THIS DOOR ISSUES. SINCE IT'S ALREADY BEEN FIXED, I'M NERVOUS TO FIX IT ALSO AND IT GOES BACK TO THIS.
A MECHANIC NOTICED THAT THE INNER SIDEWALLS ON BOTH FRONT WHEELS WERE SPLITTING (AS IF ALONG THE SEAMS) ON THE GOODYEAR WEATHERHANDLER 215/45R17. THE TIRES WERE FIXED BEFORE ANY BLOWOUT OCCURRED, BUT GOODYEAR REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. THREE SEPARATE MECHANICS FROM DIFFERENT GARAGES HAD NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT, AND CONFIRMED THAT IT DID NOT OCCUR FROM DAILY WEAR AND TEAR.
