WHEN I WENT TO DRIVE MY CAR OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY THE STEERING ACTED LIKE IT WAS LOCKED. AFTER TRYING MULTIPLE TIMES OF TURNING KEY ON/OFF I FINALLY CALLED THE MECHANIC TO TOW THE VEHICLE TO THEIR SHOP. AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS OF DIAGNOSIS IT WAS DETERMINED IT WAS THE ELECTRIC STEERING. WHY HAVE MULTIPLE OTHER FORD VEHICLES HAD A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM BUT NOT THE FOCUS?
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FOCUS. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE ENGINE, BATTERY, AND OIL SENSOR INDICATORS ILLUMINATED BEFORE THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. HINES PARK FORD (56558 PONTIAC TRL, NEW HUDSON, MI) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 94,000.
THE HORN STOPPED WORKING BEFORE THE HEADLIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHT ISSUES STARTED.
MY FOCUS HAS HAD NUMEROUS TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS. MY CAR WOULD RANDOMLY NOT BE ABLE TO SHIFT INTO SECOND GEAR AND WOULD LEAVE STRANDED. WHILE DRIVING MY CAR WOULD RANDOMLY NOT SHIFT GEARS, ALLOWING ME TO GO A MAX OF 10 MPH WITH MY CHILDREN IN MY CAR. MANY TIMES MY CAR WOULD NOT START AT ALL. SOMETIMES WHEN IT DID START, I COULD NOT EVEN TURN MY WHEEL. I HAD THE COMPUTER CHIP RESET AND WITHIN 4 MONTHS MY CAR BECAME INOPERABLE. I TOOK IT TO THE SHOP AND THEY SAID MULTIPLE SERVICE BULLETINS WERE FOUND FOR MY TRANSMISSION THAT CAME BACK IN THE DIAGNOSTICS AND TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP. WHEN I WENT THERE I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE MINIMUM $2K TO GET THE INTERNAL CLUTCH FIXED, IF THAT WAS THE ISSUE, UPWARDS OF $5K FOR THE OTHER TRANSMISSION ISSUES. I FELT EXTREMELY UNSAFE WITH TWO KIDS AND HAD TO GO OUT AND LEASE A NEW CAR. I AM FURIOUS NOW THAT I AM READING THAT FORD KNEW IT WAS SELLING 2012 FOCUSES WITH FAULTY TRANSMISSIONS. I STILL HAVE THE CAR IN MY POSSESSION. I CANNOT EVEN COUNT THE NUMBER OF TIMES MY CAR WOULD NOT SHIFT OR START, AND WHILE DRIVING WITH MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR THIS HAPPENED. IT CAUSED ME TO ALMOST BE REAR ENDED OR STUCK IN INTERSECTIONS. THE ONLY THING THAT SAVED ME ON MANY OCCASIONS WAS QUICKLY TURNING ON MY HAZARD LIGHTS/BLINKERS. I AM OUTRAGED THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED. PRIOR TO OWNING MY 2012 FOCUS, I HAD A 2002 FOCUS AND NEVER RAN INTO ANY OF THESE ISSUES AND LOVED THE CAR SO MUCH I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE. IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME I WOULD NEVER HAVE BOUGHT THE 2012 KNOWING WHAT I KNOW NOW. I AM HOPING A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IS FILED, AND IF NOT, I MAY FIND MY OWN LAWYER AND GO AFTER FORD.

THE TRANSMISSION WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND POWERED OFF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED BUT THE FAILURE REOCCURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V735000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO HAVE THE VEHICLE SEEN BY A DEALER. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,510.
2012 FORD FOCUS HAS POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT THAT WILL NOT CLEAR. AFTER ON-LINE RESEARCH DONE, HAVE SEEN THAT MANY OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED SAME SUE. BEYONC HAS 81000 MILES ON IT. VEHICLE EXHIBITS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY DURING STARTING AND CONTINUES THROUGHOUT DRIVING. USED TO BE ABLE TO RESET BY TURNING CAR OFF AND THEN ON, HOWEVER THAT NO LONGER WORKS. FORD HAS RECALLED OTHER VEHICLES FOR SAME ISSUE BUT NOT THE FOCUS.
FORD SENT US A SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 18S32 (NHTSA RECALL 18V-725). WE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DEALER, BILL TALLEY FORD, INC., IN RICHMOND, VA TO DO THE WORK AS OUTLINED IN THE RECALL NOTICE. THE DEALER REFUSED TO DO THE WORK OPTING INSTEAD TO TELL US THAT "IT WAS NOT NECESSARY".
FORD IS STATING THAT MY CAR'S ISSUE IS NOT COVERED UNDER ANY WARRANTY FOR THE CLUTCH ISSUE. I HAVE HAD THE TCM CHANGED THREE TIMES WITH THE SAME OR WORSE OUTCOME. MY CAR NOW NEEDS 3000 DOLLARS WORTH OF REPAIRS AND I CANNOT GET THEM DONE BECAUSE FORD IS NOT STANDING BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. THEY BOUGHT MY TIME AND MILEAGE BY SAYING THAT IT NEEDED A TCM WHEN IT REALLY NEEDED A REPAIR ON THE CLUTCH PORTION OF THE TRANSMISSION. FORD REFUSES TO HELP ME WITH THEIR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. I HAVE 144KMILES ON MY FORD WITH THREE TCM CHANGES AND NOW IT WON'T DRIVE CORRECTLY AT ALL CAUSING A SAFETY HAZARD.
RPMS ZOOM UP AND LOSS OF TRANSMISSION WHILE AT HIGH SPEEDS. ALSO LUNGES INTO GEARS AND DOES NOT TAKE OFF WHEN ACCELERATOR IS APPLIED
AFTER STARTING 2012 FORD FOCUS START TO PULL OUT OF PARKING SPOT AND STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP, COULD NOT TURN RIGHT OR LEFT. PULLED FORWARD AND TURNED CAR OFF, WAS GOING TO CALL TOW BUT INSTEAD STARTED CAR AGAIN AND STEERING STARTED WORKING AGAIN. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE, WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I WAS DRIVING AND TURNING THE CORNER IN FRONT OF THE LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND THE CAR HIT STUDENTS AND THE MEDIA FOUND OUT NHTSA NEW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY ALONG WITH FORD'S KNOWLEDGE OF THIS ISSUE, IT WOULD BE WORST THAN THE PINTO GAS TANK ISSUE. PLEASE CONSIDER ISSUING A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM.
HAD JUST TURNED ONTO OUR RURAL STREET, DOING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, WHEN I HEARD A LOUD POP/EXPLOSION. THE LEFT FRONT TIRE HAD BLOWN OUT. REMOVING THE TIRE, 1/3-1/2 OF THE SIDEWALL NEXT TO THE RIM HAD BLOWN OUT IN A LINE AROUND THE TIRE. THERE IS A RECALL ON THE DEXTERO TIRES, ON JUST THIS TYPE OF BLOW OUT, BUT NOT ON THIS SPECIFIC SIZE, WHICH IS A 195-65R15. RESEARCHING I HAVE FOUND OTHERS TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THESE SHOULD BE ON A RECALL AS WELL. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE TURNOUT OF THIS HAD IT HAPPENED DRIVING 75 MPH, AS WE DO EVERYDAY ON THE HIGHWAY. THESE TIRES ARE ON A 2012 FORD FOCUS. BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED AND THEN SEEING THE RECALL WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM WITH MANY OF THE DEXTERO TIRES, I FEEL IT IS IN OUR BEST INTEREST TO REPLACE ALL 4 TIRES. THIS SHOULD BE AT THEIR EXPENSE! WE DO HAVE PICTURES, AND CAN SEND THEM TO YOU IF NEEDED.
TAKARA RECALL, WHILE DRIVING I HAD TO MAKE A TURN. WHEN TURNING, SUDDENLY THE STEERING WAS DIFFICULT TO TURN AND I WAS FORCED TO STOP THE CAR. I GOT THE MESSAGE "STEERING ASSIST MALFUNCTION". THIS WAS VERY SCARING BECAUSE I WAS IN TRAFFIC AND AN ACCIDENT COULD'VE HAPPENED.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED TO ASSIST WITH PART OF THE STEERING REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 82,800.
FUEL TANK COLLAPSE, HAVE BEEN HAVING TROUBLE WITH CAR AT TIMES NOT STARTING AND EVEN STOP RUNNING WHILE DRIVING. FORD DEALER SAID THE TANK HAS COLLAPSED AND NEEDS NEW FUEL TANK , FUEL PUMP AND VALVE. DEALER CHARGED $119.00 TO TELL THE PROBLEM AND SAID IT WOULD COST 1,200.00 TO REPAIR, SO WHY ISN'T MY CAR INCLUDED IN THE RECALL? MY 19 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER, WHO DRIVES CAR FOR SCHOOL, HAS BEEN FORCED TO WALK OR FIND RIDE TO GET TO HER DESTINATION. I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME, THIS CAR PROBLEM HAS BEEN GOING ON ABOUT A YEAR AND HALF, MONDAY WE FINALLY FOUND OUT THE REASON. WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE FORD ACCOUNTABLE.

I STARTED MY CAR AND A WARNING LIGHT CAME ON SAYING POWER STEERING ASSIST WAS OUT. THE CAR WAS VERY HARD TO STEER. THE NEXT TIME I STARTED CAR, THE PROBLEM WAS GONE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 77,300.

DRIVING TO WORK STEERING STARTED TO GET HARD TO STEER ON THE HIGH WAY AND MAKING TURNS. THEN AFTER WORK PUT IN KEY TURN KEY ON SAYS STEERING LOST STOP. AT THIS TIME THE STEERING WAS LOCKED UP MY SON WAS ABLE TO GET THE STEERING TO WHERE HE COULD GET IT HIM BUT VERY HARD TO DO I COULDN'T BUDGET IT. THE WAY IT ACTED ON THE HIGHWAY I WAS AFRAID IT WOULD STOP WORKING CAUSE IT WAS GETTING MORE DIFFICULT TO MOVE THE STEERING.
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WAS MAKING VERY LOUD CRACKING NOISES AS IF IT WAS BECAUSE OF MY RADIO. WHEN I STOPPED THE VEHICLE IT WAS STILL MAKING THE LOUD STATIC POPPING NOISES EVEN WITH THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION AND RADIO OFF. WHEN THE STOCK RADIO WAS REMOVED IT WAS VERY HOT AND SEEMED AS IF IT WAS ON THE VERGE OF STARTING A FIRE.

THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CONTACT WOULD BE CHARGED A DIAGNOSTIC FEE. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,000.
THIS 2012 FORD FOCUS HAS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL DPS6 TRANSMISSIONS WHICH IS FAILING AS TO BE EXPECTED BY DESIGN. FORD IS DENYING THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR 7 YEARS BECAUSE THE PURCHASE DATE WAS AUGUST 2011. THE VEHICLE IS A 2012 AND HERE WE ARE IN 2019. THIS IS 7 YEARS. THE VEHICLE IS DANGEROUS, SHIFTING HARD AND SLIPS OUT OF GEAR AND WON'T GO INTO DRIVE. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS WHEN YOU NEED ACCELERATION ON THE FREEWAY OR WHERE EVER THE RISK MAY BE IN TRAFFIC CONDITIONS. THERE ARE 1000'S OF REPORTS ON THE MALFUNCTIONING TRANSMISSION AND I RECENTLY READ ON THE INTERNET THE NHTSA THIS YEAR IS FINALLY LOOKING INTO THIS PROBLEM THAT WAS SOLD TO MILLIONS OF CUSTOMERS. I HAVE HAD THE CAR DIAGNOSED AT A FORD DEALERSHIP WHO PROCEEDED TO PRICE GOUGE ME ON A REPAIR SINCE FORD WON'T HONOR THEIR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. NO THIRD PARTY TRANSMISSION SHOPS WILL WORK ON THIS CAR AND THE CONSUMER IS SLAVED TO FORD FOR REPAIRS. DISHONEST PRICE GOUGING QUOTES TO BOOT. I WAS LURED IN WITH $1400.00 TO 1600.00 TO BRING THE CAR IN. 5 MONTHS LATER, WITH NO COOPERATION AND NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS, THEY DOUBLED THE PARTS PRICED FOR THE REPAIR UP TO $3200.00 PLUS IT COULD BE MORE. I WAS SO FED UP I TOWED THE VEHICLE OUT OF THERE AND BACK TO MY GARAGE. THIS HALF BAKED EXTENDED WARRANTY FORD PUT OUT FOR THIS TRANSMISSION IS EXACTLY THAT, HALF BAKED. THEY KNOW THIS TRANSMISSION WILL FAIL AND THE WARRANTY SHOULD HAVE COVERED ALL COMPONENTS FOR THIS MECHANICAL MONSTROSITY. THE CONSUMER IS OVER THE BARREL WITH FORD FIXING THIS PROBLEM AND THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION. I WAS DENIED THIS WARRANTY BY TWO MONTHS WHEN I FIRST INQUIRED ABOUT THE. IT'S A 2012 - 2019 7 YEARS. JUST BECAUSE IT WAS SOLD IN 2011 SHOULDN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IT'S STILL THE SAME DANGEROUS MALFUNCTIONING TRANSMISSION OUT ON THE ROAD. I SURE HOPE THE NHTSA PUTS SOME PRESSURE ON FORD TO DO THE RIGHT THING.
POWER STEERING ALWAYS TAKES AWHILE TO START WHEN THE CAR IS STARTED, NOW IT HAS GONE OUT COMPLETELY.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PLAZA FORD (1701 BEL AIR ROAD, BEL AIR, MD 21014) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION CLUTCH HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
MY POWER STEERING LOCKED UP WHILE I WAS LEAVING MY HOUSE. MY CAR HAS ONLY 90K MILES AND THERE HAS BEEN TONS OF RECALLS IN GENERAL FOR THIS CAR ALREADY. THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM AND RISK AND I BELIEVE THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO HAVE COME ACROSS THIS.
WHEN DRIVING THE RADIO WOULD DO ONE LOUD SNAP AND STOP WORKING. IF I RESTARTED THE CAR IT WOULD WORK AGAIN, BUT THE ENGINE WOULD SPUTTER UPON RESTART. NOW THE RADIO JUST WON'T WORK. IT CRACKLES AND CREATES VERY LOUD NOISES THROUGH THE SPEAKERS EVEN WHEN THE CAR ISN'T ON AND THE KEYS AREN'T EVEN IN THE CAR. IT SCARES ME WHILE I AM DRIVING AND DOES NOT STOP. I NOW HAVE NO RADIO TOO. IT SOMETIMES TURNS ON BUT DOESN'T PLAY ANYTHING, BUT OTHER TIMES DOESN'T EVEN DO THAT. THE NOISES DON'T STOP THE ENTIRE TIME I'M DRIVING. IT IS GETTING WORSE AS TIME GOES ON.
ALMOST KILLED MY SELF WHEN LURCHED INTO INTERSECTION BECAUSE CLUTCH ACTED UP, SOMETHING IT HAS DONE SINCE NIGHT USED. I TRUSTED FORD, HAD NO IDEA OF TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. TRANNY HAS BEEN DONE TWICE AT FORD, NO LUCK STILL BAD. MAD AS HELL.

HARRIS FORD (3710 VAN DYKE RD, NEWPORT, AR 72112, (870) 523-5559) WAS CONTACTED, BUT COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE VEHICLE FOR ANOTHER TWO WEEKS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMITION OF MY 2012 FORD FOCUS WITH 100K MILES HAD HESITATION AND THE ENGINE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF WHEN DRIVING DUE TO THE TRANSMITION FAIL (IT HAPPEN TOO OFTEN DRIVIND IN THE CITY), AFTER I PAID $ 2,200 TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET IT FIXED ( THEY CHANGED CLUTCHS AND COMPUTER MODULE). THE STEERING WHEELS STARTED TO FAIL, IT SUDDENLY GETS TOO HARD TO TURN, THEN IT GETS NORMAL AND THEN FAILS AGAIN. JUST WHEN I WAS TURNING ON A CORNER THE STEERING WHEEL GOT HARD TO TURN AND THE CAR WAS GOING OUT OF THE ROAD (STRAIGHT). LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL TOO HARD TO CONTROL IT. FORD WANT TO CHARGE $2,400 TO FIX THE PROBLEM (RACK AND PINION REPLACEMENT) . I THINK THERE SHOULD BE RECALLS FOR THOSE DANGEROUS ISSUES. THANKS.

VEHICLE NARROWLY AVOIDED LIFE-THREATENING COLLISIONS WITH VARIOUS PASSING VEHICLES UNTIL EMERGENCY PERSONNEL ARRIVED IN RESPONSE TO 911 CALL TO BLOCK TRAFFIC AND ALLOW TOWING. VEHICLE WAS TOWED FROM THE SCENE. UPON RESTART OF VEHICLE, POWER TRANSMISSION TO WHEELS WAS RESTORED, THOUGH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND SERVICE TRANSMISSION WARNING REMAINED ILLUMINATED. FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT DIAGNOSED AS FAULTY TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) AND REPLACED TCM UNDER FORD FIELD SERVICE ACTION 14M02. FORD HAS KNOWN OF FAULTY TCM ELECTRICAL SOLDERING DESIGN WITH POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCE OF INTERMITTENT LOSS OF POWER TRANSMISSION TO THE WHEELS SINCE AT LEAST 2015 WHEN 14M02 WAS ISSUED, BUT INEXPLICABLY NO TCM SAFETY RECALL OCCURRED AT THAT TIME. AS PART OF FORD "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM" 15B22 ISSUED IN 2015, VEHICLE RECEIVED A TCM COMPUTER REPROGRAM THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO DETECT IMPENDING TCM FAILURE SO THAT TCM COULD PROVIDE WARNING ABOUT THE NEED FOR TCM REPLACEMENT, IF NEED BE, PRIOR TO HAZARDOUS EVENTS OCCURRING. THIS SOFTWARE UPDATE PROVED TO BE INEFFECTIVE, AS VEHICLE'S TCM FAILED WITHOUT WARNING IN HIGHLY DANGEROUS SCENARIO. A SAFETY RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED FOR ALL UN-REPLACED TCMS IN ALL VEHICLES REFERENCED IN FORD FIELD SERVICE ACTION 14M02, AS STOP-GAP SOFTWARE REPROGRAM LEVIED BY FORD "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM" 15B22 HAS PROVEN INSUFFICIENT TO DETECT IMPENDING TCM CATASTROPHIC FAILURE. I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING OF AND DEALING WITH A ENGINE/TRANSMISSION ISSUE SINCE PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE. I WAS TOLD SEVERAL TIMES BY MY DEALERSHIP THAT IT IS JUST THE TYPE OF GAS SIPPING ENGINE THE CAR HAS AND IT IS NORMAL. I AM 50 YEARS OLD AND NEVER HAD A CAR THAT RESPONDED AS POORLY THIS ONE HAS BUT ALSO NEVER HAD A CAR WITH SPECIAL TYPE OF ENGINE. IT HAS STALLED WHILE ENTERING AN INTERSECTION A COUPLE OF TIMES, LACKS PICK UP SOMETIMES OR JOLTS (LIKE TRANSMISSION ISSUES) WHEN GOING FROM STOPPED POSITION. IT WILL SOMETIMES JOLTS GOING UP HILLS WHILE CAR IS SWITCHING GEARS AS WELL AT A NORMAL BACK ROAD SPEED. AN ENGINE RECALL WAS PUT OUT SEVERAL MONTHS AGO WITH NO REMEDY YET. NOW THE ENGINE LIGHT IS COMING ON SOMETIMES (AFTER JUST HAVING THE CAR SERVICED AND GONE THROUGH FOR FLUIDS, ETC). MY CAR HAS 50K MILES ON IT ONLY AND IS BEING DRIVEN BY MY SON NOW. I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE SAFETY BUT DON'T WANT TO SELL IT WITH OPEN RECALLS AND THE LEMON LAWS HERE IN MA. I FEEL LIKE I AM STUCK WITH A LEMON MYSELF. THE STEERING INTERMITTENTLY CUTS OUT MAKING IT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO STEER. THE STEERING WENT OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND I NEARLY HIT ANOTHER CAR. I WAS DRIVING ON A LOCAL CITY STREET WHEN THE ISSUE OCCURRED. THE ERROR STEERING ASSIST FAULT, SERVICE REQUIRED UPON LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL. UPON RESEARCH, I HAVE DETERMINED THAT FORD HAS RECALLED OTHER CARS WITHIN THE SAME MODEL YEAR FOR THE SAME ISSUE. I AM CONCERNED THAT IF THIS OCCURS AGAIN IT COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT CAUSING DAMAGE TO PROPERTY AND INJURIES TO MYSELF AND OTHERS.

THEY CLAIMED WITHOUT DOING THAT WORK IF THEY DID THIS WORK THE CAR WOULDN'T WORK AT ALL. I COMPLAINED TO FORD WHO TOLD ME DEALERSHIPS DON'T HAVE TO HONOR RECALLS AND TO KEEP TRYING OTHER DEALERSHIPS. I ASKED WHAT TO DO IF NONE WOULD DO THE WORK AND THEY SAID PAY OUT OF POCKET. WORSE YET, THE FIRST DEALERSHIP CLEARED THE RECALL AS NOT BEING NEEDED, SO NOW I HAVE A DAMAGED CAR THAT I CAN'T GET THE RECALL WORK ON THAT I CAN'T AFFORD TO DO MYSELF. I'M GOING TO JUST HAVE TO SELL THE CAR.

I HAVE HAD THE A/C COMPRESSOR GO BAD. I HAVE RECENTLY FIXED 2 COOLANT ISSUES REPAIRED. THE TCM ON TRANSMISSION REPAIRED YESTERDAY U WAS ALMOST IN A COLLISION WHEN THE CARS TRANSMISSION QUIT. THE CURRENT PROBLEM IS I NEED A TRANSMISSION CLUTCH NOW ACCORDING TO FORD BUT BECAUSE I AM 7000 MILES OVER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY THEY REFUSE TO FIX .
