I BOUGHT MY 2014 FOCUS NEW.ALMOST IMMEDIATELY IT BEGAN HESITATING AND SHUDDERING WHEN YOU BEGIN TO ACCELERATE. AND LOSS OF POWER WHICH IS DANGEROUS.FIRST TWO TIMES I TOOK IT TO DEALER THEY REPROGRAMMED THE COMPUTER AND MADE EXCUSES THAT IT IS NORMAL AND THE CAR IS LEARNING HOW I DRIVE.THIRD TIME I TOOK IT IN THEY REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION MODULE.DIDN'T HELP.FOURTH TIME REPLACED THE DUAL CLUTCH.STILL HESITATES.NOW MY CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY AND THEY SAY IF IT IS THE CLUTCH THEY WON'T COVER IT.IT WILL COST ME $150 TO DIAGNOSE IT TO SEE IF IT IS THE TRANSMISSION MODULE.IF IT IS THAT'S ALL THAT IS COVERED.SO I AM LEFT WITH A CAR THAT DRIVES HORRIBLE.BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2014 FORD FOCUS AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY ISSUES FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS OR SO BUT THEN THE CAR STARTED JUMPING AND MAKING GRINDING SOUNDS AND GETTING WORSE AND WORSE ESPECIALLY WHEN I WOULD TAKE OFF AT A LIGHT OR WHEN I WOULD MERGE INTO TRAFFIC IT'S ESPECIALLY BAD WHEN YOUR SITTING IN SLOW TRAFFIC YOU NEED TO GIVE YOURSELF MORE ROOM OR YOU MIGHT REAR-END SOMEONE. I ALMOST GOT INTO A REALLY BAD ACCIDENT TRYING TO PULL OUT INTO TRAFFIC BUT THANK GOD THE PERSON I WAS TRYING TO GET IN FRONT OF MOVED OVER BECAUSE MY CAR JUST JUMPED A LITTLE AND FELT LIKE IT STALLED OUT. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY KNEW ALL ABOUT THE PROBLEM BUT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON IT YET WHICH I COULD HARDLY BELIEVE BECAUSE I WORK WITH SOMEONE WHO HAD THE EXACT SAME CAR AND HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS. THEY DID REPLACE THE CLUTCH IN MARCH BUT NOW ITS AUGUST AND I'M GOING BACK IN BECAUSE I'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS. I'M REALLY DISAPPOINTED, I REALLY LIKE MY CAR. IF I WOULDN'T LOOSE A LOT OF MONEY ON IT I WOULD TRADE IT IN FOR SOMETHING ELSE, ITS NOT SAFE AND ITS BEEN SUCH A HASSLE.
SHUDDER IN FIRST TO SECOND GEAR LOSING POWER WITH ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION; LOSS OF SPEED AND SHAKING AND NO ACCERLATION FROM STOP TO START; LOSS OF POWER AND AUTO JUMPS UP AND DOWN WITHOUT GOING ANYWHERE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE DEALER REPROGRAMMED THE SOFTWARE AND STATED THAT THE CLUTCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE CLUTCH WAS ON BACK ORDER AND COULD NOT PROVIDE A TURN AROUND TIME. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
I HAVE OWNED MY FORD FOCUS FOR ABOUT 1 YEAR- IT'S A 2014 MODEL. I BOUGHT THE CAR AFTER I WAS TOLD IT WOULD NOT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS AS MY 2012 FORD FIESTA, WHICH I TRADED IN FOR A FOCUS AFTER HAVING THE TRANSMISSION COMPLETELY REBUILT BECAUSE OF TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. THE DEALER WHO SOLD ME THE CAR HAD SUGGESTED I GO TO A FORD FOCUS AND TOLD ME THE TRANSMISSION WAS DIFFERENT FROM MY FIESTA. HE CLEARLY WAS NOT HONEST WITH ME ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND NOW, I HAVE STARTED EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEMS FORD FOCUS AS EARLY AS LAST MONTH; THE SAME ISSUES THAT LED THEM TO REBUILD MY FIESTA TRANSMISSION, WHICH DID NOT END UP FIXING THE ISSUE. IT HAS BEGUN SHAKING AND GRINDING WHEN ACCELERATING. IT GRINDS WHILE IN MOTION AT SPEEDS BELOW 40 MILES PER HOUR. I HAVE BEEN DOING RESEARCH AND HAVE BEEN FINDING THAT SEVERAL REPORTS AND LAW SUITS HAVE BEEN FILED WITH NO RESPONSE. I AM FILING A COMPLAINT IN HOPES THAT SOMETHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT THIS. IT IS NOT OK THAT THESE CARS ARE BEING SOLD. *TR

CAR EXPERIENCES SEVERE SHUDDERING, LURCHING, AND SKIPPING WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP. DOES NOT MATTER IF IT IS ACCELERATING SLOWLY OR QUICKLY. IT SHUDDERS WHEN SWITCHING GEARS WELL DRIVING. VERY PERSISTENT WHEN LEAVING STOPLIGHTS. PURCHASED CAR IN FEBRUARY 2015 AND IT HAS HAD THIS ISSUE SINCE SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASE. HAS BEEN IN TWICE FOR SERVICE. FIRST TIME THEY SAID IT WAS NORMAL. WHEN IT PROGRESSED INTO A MORE SEVERE ISSUE THEY TOLD ME TO TRADE IT IN FOR A NEW CAR.
MY CARS TRANSMISSION STALLS EVERYDAY WHILE DRIVING. IT SHAKES AND STUTTERS AT LIGHT OR STOP SIGNS WHEN YOU GO TO TAKE OFF. IT SHIFTS HARD. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE ABOUT 3 WEEKS AFTER BUYING THE CAR. IT DOES THIS ALL THE TIME AND ON CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAYS AS WELL.
SHUDDERS AND SOMETIMES STALLS WHEN TRYING TO UPSHIFT,HAS DONE THIS SINCE NEW AND BEEN TAKEN BACK TO DEALERSHIP3 TIMES FOR REPAIR,PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS AFTER 61,000 MILES.FORD WAS AWARE OF THIS TRANSMISSION ISSUE AND SOLD CARS ANYWAY.VERY UNHAPPY WITH FMC.
THE CAR WAS DIFFICULT TO DRIVE FROM DAY ONE, HARD TO STEER AND KEEP ON THE ROAD, ALONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM, HAD IT CHECKED SEVERAL TIMES AND TOLD THERE WASN'T A PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING, THEN IT IT STARTED MAKING A GRINDING SOUND WHEN THE WHEEL WAS TURNED, KEPT GETTING WORSE UNTIL THE CAR WAS NOT DRIVE ABLE, AND IT WAS STORED. THE TRANSMISSION WAS RECALLED, BUT TOLD THE STEERING IS NOT. FORD SAYS IT NEEDS A NEW RACK AND PINON BUT IS NOW OUT OF WARRANTY, AS OUR COMPLAINT WE TURNED IN WHEN IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY HAD BEEN WIPED OUT, DUE TO A NEW COMPUTER SYSTEM. IT ONLY HAS 32,000 MILES ON IT, AND NOW THEY WANT $2200 TO REPLACE THE RACK AND PINON.
The contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle was jerking. Additionally, the vehicle stalled while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact also stated that the "transmission fault, service now," warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed with a defective transmission control module (TCM). The vehicle remained in the dealer's possession for 9 months before the TCM was replaced. Despite the initial repair, the failure recurred twice. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer after the most recent failure and remained in the dealer's possession. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
WHILE DRIVING IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC THE CAR ACCELERATED, LURCHING FORWARD, INSTEAD OF STOPPING WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED, CAUSING ME TO STRIKE THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. CAR TRANSMISSION REVVED AND GAVE THE SOUND OF A CAR SHIFTING GEARS, AND CONTINUED TO REV FOR SEVERAL SECONDS AFTER IMPACT. *TR
ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, WHEN LEAVING A STOP SIGN/LIGHT, THE CAR WILL SHUDDER AND CHOKE AS IF IT GOING TO TURN OFF. THE CAR IDLES AROUND 750 RPMS WHEN THIS OCCURS. I AM NOT SURE IF THAT IS ABNORMAL OR NOT. UNFORTUNATELY, IT FEELS AS IF THE ISSUE IS OCCURRING MORE FREQUENTLY. FOR EXAMPLE, I HAVE NOTICED WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION AND AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THAT SOME TIMES WHEN I ATTEMPT TO ACCELERATE THE CAR WILL NOT RESPOND AS IT SHOULD WHILE OTHER TIMES IT WILL RESPOND QUITE QUICKLY AND AS I WOULD EXPECT. MY CONCERN IS IF THE ISSUE IS GETTING WORSE, WILL I BE PUT IN A POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS SITUATION THAT COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. *TR
I PURCHASED MY CAR NEW FROM A FORD DEALER IN 2015. MY CAR HAD THIS SHUDDER FROM THE BEGINNING BUT THE DEALER TOLD ME IT WAS 'NORMAL,' ETC. I'VE FOUND THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AND DETROIT FREE PRESS REVELATIONS ABOUT FORD MOTOR COMPANY KNOWING THE TRANSMISSION WAS DEFECTIVE BEFORE MY 2014 FOCUS WAS EVEN BUILT! BUT WHEN I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP YESTERDAY THEY STILL SAY THE DEFECT SYMPTOMS ARE 'NORMAL' AND THEY'LL CHARGE ME $89 IF I WANT A DIAGNOSTIC. AND EVEN IF I DO THAT AND THEY REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE TRANSMISSION, THEY'LL BE INSTALLING ANOTHER INHERENTLY DEFECTIVE TRANSMISSION! THIS ISN'T A MANUFACTURING PLANT ISSUE WHERE A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF THE VEHICLES BUILT ON ONE PARTICULAR DAY RECEIVED THE WRONG WIDGET. THE TRANSMISSION DESIGN IS DEFECTIVE. I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE IN THIS CAR NOR DO I TRUST FORD MOTOR COMPANY OR ITS DEALERSHIP THAT'S BEEN LYING TO ME FOR YEARS. I MADE A POINT OF BUYING AN AMERICAN COMPANY CAR MADE IN THE USA TO SUPPORT MY COUNTRY AND THIS IS WHAT THEY DO??
SINCE ABOUT 6,000 MILES, MY CAR "STUTTERS" UPON ACCELERATION. GOING FORWARD FROM A STOPPED POSITION, THERE IS HESITATION PRIOR TO ACCELERATION WHICH IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN AS THOSE BEHIND ME ACCELERATE NORMALLY. THEN, IT STUTTERS, OR HESITATES, AS I ACCELERATE TO A POINT, AT WHICH POINT ACCELERATION CEASES AND THE RPMS RACE. AGAIN, A DANGER OF BEING HIT FROM BEHIND OR THE SIDE WHEN MERGING. I ASKED MY OIL CHANGE GUY TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE TRANSMISSION, BUT HE REFUSED AS HE HAS HEARD ABOUT TRANSMISSION ISSUES WITH THE FORD FOCUS CARS AND SUGGESTED I TAKE IT TO THE DEALER. WHEN I CALLED FORD TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, THEY WERE WELL AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND SAID THEY JUST NEEDED TO "RECALIBRATE". MY CAR "PASSED" THEIR TEST, BUT THE ISSUE CONTINUED. I SPOKE WITH THE DEALERSHIP WHO SAID HE IS ON THE PHONE WITH 7-8 FORD FOCUS OWNERS A DAY TALKING ABOUT THIS ISSUE THAT IS ALLEGEDLY NOT A SAFETY CONCERN, BUT A DESIGN WHICH IS NOT A DEFECT. HE SAID IF AND ONLY IF MY CAR WERE TO FAIL THE "TEST", THEN THEY WOULD HAVE PERMISSION TO ORDER A NEW PART. I TOOK MY CAR IN AGAIN, IT FAILED, AND NOW I AM WAITING 12-16 WEEKS FOR THE PART TO COME IN. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTOOD FROM THE DEALERSHIP, THE NEW PART MAY MAKE THINGS A BIT BETTER, BUT THE WAY IT DRIVES WILL BE THE SAME. THIS DESIGN IS NOT ONLY FLAWED, MAKING FOR AN UNCOMFORTABLE RIDE, IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN. I CAN ONLY HOPE THE GOVERNMENT STEPS IN TO FORCE FORD TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND DO WHAT'S RIGHT, BECAUSE IT SEEMS THEY ARE UNWILLING TO DO SO.
THE 2014 FORD FOCUS HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION. IT LURCHES AS SLOW SPEED OF LESS THAN 20 MPG AND IT HUNTS FOR A GEAR WHEN PASSING OTHER CARS (50 TO 60 MPH). THE TRANSMISSION IS TWO THREE SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS SHIFTED ELECTRONICALLY AND IT DOES NOT WORK. I WOULD IMAGINE THERE HAVE BEEN ACCIDENTS BECAUSE IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO CATCH THE CAR WHEN IT LURCHES IT WILL RUN INTO OTHER VEHICLES. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR BACK TO TWO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND NEITHER ONE OF THEM CAN FIX THE PROBLEM. WHAT I THINK NEEDS TO HAPPEN IS FORD NEEDS TO GET AN ENGINEER THAT UNDERSTANDS HOW TO PROGRAM THE TRANSMISSION AND SPEND SOME TIME WORKING WITH THE SHIFT POINTS. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO METRO FORD (LOCATED AT 9000 NW 7TH AVE, MIAMI, FL 33150, (305) 751-9711) ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLUTCH IN THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CLUTCH HAD BEEN REPLACED ONCE EVERY YEAR SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO VERIFY WHETHER THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V523000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,500. *BF CONSUMER STATED CURRENT MILEAGE ON VEHICLE 15. ALSO, WHEN ACCERLERATING BETWEEN 0-45MPH THE CAR JUMPS AND BACKS WHILE TRYING TO SHIFT INTO THE NEXT GEAR. CONSISTENTLY HAPPENS BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND GEAR AND SECOND AND THIRD GEAR. ALSO, BUCKS AND JUMPS CONSISTENTLY WHILE DECELERATING FROM 3RD~2ND GEAR AND 2ND ~1ST GEAR.*JB
Previous owner & myself have continually experienced transmission/clutch shudder and hard shifting from a stop. Have had clutch and/or clutch assembly replaced twice since 2015. The dealer wants to replace the clutch AGAIN! This is not correcting the faulty DPS6 transmission which I believe is faulty. Now am afraid to drive car and have been told by dealer that Ford will not do anything unless shudder reaches certain limit. They have now informed me there is a problem with the Fuel EVAP system, according to the latest error code which had a recall back in 2019, so that is expired. And the clutch Customer Satisfaction Program 19N08 has also, expired, leaving me with a car unsafe to drive for both issues. I contacted Ford Motor Co today, and was told there is no Conflict Resolution Dpt., that they only deal directly with the dealer.
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT MY CAR ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN, ONCE WHILE STOPPED, THE SECOND TIME WHILE DRIVING. THE FIRST OCCURRENCE OF OCCURRED WHILE STOPPED AT 0 MILES PER HOUR AT A DRIVE-THROUGH, I HAD TO PUSH ON THE BRAKES HARDER TO PREVENT THE CAR FROM HITTING THE CAR AHEAD OF ME. A SECOND OCCURRENCE OCCURRED YESTERDAY ON FEBRUARY 14 OF 2014. I WAS DRIVING AT 35 MILES PER HOUR IN A 45 MILES PER HOUR ZONE WHEN THE CAR AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT WARNING ACCELERATED; I HAD TO STEER THE CAR INTO A SNOW BANK AND I ALMOST HIT A LARGE TREE I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE ABOVE OCCURRENCES AND I WILL GET IN TOUCH WITH MY FORD DEALERSHIP TOMORROW TO SEE WHAT CAN BE DONE AFTER THE FIRST INCIDENT I TOOK THE CAR TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP WART WAS EVALUATED AND I WAS ADVISED THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. *TR

THE FAILURE MADE IT DIFFICULT TO DOWNSHIFT AND APPLY THE BRAKES. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND MADE NO MENTION THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD A SERVICE CAMPAIGN CONCERNING THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE EXTENDED COVERAGE (14M02). THE CONTACT WAS TO CHECK WITH THE MANUFACTURER TO DETERMINE IF THEY COULD PROVIDE A REMEDY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WAS DEFECTIVE AND HAD STREAKS CAUSING THE VISIBILITY TO BECOME POOR WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE. THE AUTHORIZED DEALER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE MANUFACTURER OF THE GLASS WHO CLEANED THE WINDOWS WITH A SOLUTION BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A SECOND INDEPENDENT GLASS COMPANY AND THEY ALSO USED A SOLUTION AND INDICATED THAT THERE MAY BE A DEFECT WITH THE GLASS AND BOTH REFERRED THE CONTACT BACK TO THE AUTHORIZED DEALER TO HAVE THE WINDSHIELD REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE STEERING IS VERY DANGEROUS AND WILL CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THERE IS NO CENTERING THE WHEEL, IT CONSTANTLY DRIFTS BACK AND FORTH LEFT AND RIGHT, ON IT'S OWN WITH FLAT STRAIGHT ROAD AND PERFECT STRAIGHT LINE OF SIGHT. THE STEERING IS TOO SENSITIVE, IF I MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL JUST A SLIGHT AMOUNT IT OVER CORRECTS AND CONTINUES TO MOVES THE CAR. THE DRIVE MUST CONSTANTLY COURSE CORRECT OR I WILL VEER OFF THE ROAD RIGHT/LEFT OR HIT ANOTHER CAR IN EITHER LANE, THE PROBLEM IS MULTIPLIED SEVERAL TIMES OVER WHEN TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. SEARCHING THE INTERNET I SEE SEVERAL OTHER COMPLAINTS FROM 2014 FOCUS OWNERS AND AM QUITE SHOCKED THIS ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN ESCALATED AND FIXED BY FORD, THE NEW ELECTRIC STEERING IS NOT WORKING AND A SAFETY HAZARD TO ANY DRIVER. I HAD THE CAR IN THE MATHEWS FORD COLLISION SHOP TO REPAIR A HIT TO THE FRONT END FROM A DEER, AND REPORTED THE STEERING ISSUE. THEY ACTED LIKE THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS REPORTING AND RECOMMENDED A FRONT END ALIGNMENT. I TOLD THEM THEY NEEDED TO DRIVE THE CAR AND WOULD FEEL AND EXPERIENCE THE PROBLEM. I PICKED THE CAR UP LAST WEEK AND THEY SAID THE STEERING COMPUTER WAS RESET AND RE-CALIBRATED, AND THE FRONT END ALIGNMENT WAS DONE. AS SOON AS I LEFT AND WAS DRIVING IT WAS ACTUALLY WORSE THAN BEFORE AND WHEN I TRAVELED ON THE HIGHWAY 2 DAYS LATER IT WAS VERY PRONOUNCED WITH VERY LITTLE WIND THAT DAY. VEHICLE VIOLENTLY SHUDDERS AND HESITATES UNACCEPTABLY AT TAKEOFF. IT REQUIRES COMPLETELY TAKING FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR AND THEN REAPPLYING VERY SLOWLY. OTHERWISE THE CAR JERKS AND HEAVES. I AM A SLOW AND CAUTIOUS DRIVER-I RARELY FIND THE NEED TO ACCELERATE RAPIDLY. IN EITHER CASE THE SAME SITUATION OCCURS. I NOTE THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON COMPLAINT FOR 2011,2012, 2013, 2014 FORD FOCUS UPON RESEARCHING THE INTERNET.. ASIDE FROM BEING ANNOYING, I FIND THIS CONDITION IS UNSAFE WHEN ACCELERATING AROUND VEHICLES AND DURING ACCELERATION WHEN OTHER VEHICLES ARE BEHIND ME. THE VEHICLE (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION)APPEARS TO SHIFT FINE IN HIGHER GEARS FOR THE TIME BEING. HOWEVER, WHAT SEEMED TO BE OCCURRING IN TRANSITION FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR NOW SEEMS TO BE CREEPING IN BETWEEN 2ND AND 3RD. THIS IS NOT A CASE OF THE TRANSMISSION SIMPLY DELAYING THE SHIFT FROM 1ST TO 2ND-IT IS A HIGHLY SPASMODIC EXPERIENCE. I USUALLY START ACCELERATING AND THEN HAVE TO COMPLETELY TAKE MY FOOT OFF THE GAS WHEN THE CAR VIOLENTLY SHAKES/SHUDDERS. THIS IS HAPPENING CONSTANTLY. IT IS NOT INFREQUENT, BUT CONSTANT. IT USUALLY HELPS TO ACCELERATE VERY GRADUALLY. HOWEVER, THIS SELF IMPOSED REMEDY IS UNACCEPTABLE AND DOES NOT CONSISTENTLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM. PLEASE HELP REMEDY THIS AWFUL PREDICAMENT FOR THOSE OF US UNFORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE CHOSEN TO PURCHASE A CAR FROM FORD. I CONSIDER THE SITUATION VERY UNSAFE. I UNDERSTAND THAT FORD IS REPLACING CLUTCHES BUT THE FIX IS NOT ALWAYS SOLVING THE PROBLEM.

VEHICLE HAS HAD A RED FLUID LEAK FOR QUITE SOME TIME. THE CAR HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THIS ISSUE MANY TIMES AND CURRENTLY FILING LEMON LAW ARBITRATION.
