I WAS DRIVING MY CAR OUT OF MY APARTMENT PARKING LOT AND THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR SWUNG OPEN. I STOPPED RIGHT AWAY. I CHECKED THE DOOR LATCH AND IT WAS DOWN BUT WHEN I PUSHED THE DOOR TO SHUT IT WOULD NOT CATCH AND SHUT. *TR
WHILE DRIVING MY 2013 FORD FUSION I SUDDENLY LOST POWER STEERING CONTROL. THERE WERE TWO ALARM MESSAGES SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC AND HILL START ASSIST UNAVAILABLE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH THIS CAR. THE FIRST TIME WAS IN 2014 AND DAVIDSON FORD OF WATERTOWN NY FIXED THE ISSUE THEN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED. ALSO, THE VEHICLE OVERHEATED AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE DETACHED WHILE IT WAS IN PARK. THE FAILURES OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FOUR SEASONS FORD (601 DUNCAN HILL RD, HENDERSONVILLE, NC) ON VARIOUS OCCASIONS; HOWEVER, THE DEALER ONLY DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURES RECURRED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT HE WOULD BE CHARGED FOR ANY ADDITIONAL REPAIRS SINCE THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES AND DID NOT ASSIST SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO REFERRED TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 185,000.
STARTED UP THE VEHICLE IN THE MORNING AFTER SITTING ALL NIGHT, BUZZERS, WARNING LIGHTS AND MESSAGES POPPED UP ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. "HILL ASSIST NOT AVAILABLE" "SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC" TWO LIGHT ARE ALSO ILLUMINATED, TRACTION CONTROL AND STABILITY CONTROL. THE SHORT 3 FLASH SIGNALS WORK BUT THE SUSTAINED FLASH WILL NOT, THE SIGNAL WILL FLASH ONCE AND SHUT OFF. THE BIGGEST SAFETY CONCERN IS THE POWER STEERING ASSIST DOES NOT WORK. IT WILL ACTUALLY JERK THE STEERING WHEEL IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION! UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE 40 MILES TO WORK. IT GRINDS AND POPS AS THE WHEEL IS TURNED LIKE IT IS TRYING TO RIP THE TIE RODS LOOSE. I AM AUTOMOTIVE SAVVY AND FELT I COULD HANDLE DRIVING IT, HOWEVER IF MY WIFE WAS TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE I WOULD FEAR THERE WOULD'VE BEEN AN ACCIDENT. *TR
MY DASH DOOR INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON AND AFTER CHECKING THE DOORS FOUND THE PASSENGER REAR DOOR HAD OPENED AND WOULD NOT CLOSE. AFTER TRYING SEVERAL TIMES TO CLOSE THE DOOR NO LUCK IT WOULD JUST SWING BACK AT ME. I HAVE EMAILED FORD TO GET INFO ON THIS PROBLEM BUT NO RESPONSE BACK. *TR
TODAY MY BRAKE PEDAL WENT DOWN TO THE FLOOR . WHEN I STARTED MY VEHICLE . THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON. NO HILL SIDE START.. SERVICE ADVANCE TRACTION. I HAVE REPLACED ALL . BRAKE PADS, SHOCKS ,AND HAD ROTOR WORKED ON. ABS HAS GOTTEN WORST. I TOOK MY CAR TO THE NEAREST FORD SHOP. I ASKED THEM TO CHECK IT OUT AND REPLACE MY ABS SENSOR.
I HAD JUST PICKED UP MY DAUGHTER AFTER WORK AND WE STARTED HEADING ON DOWN THE ROAD. THEN AS I WAS TURNING AROUND THIS CURVE A LOUD NOISE HAPPENED AND LOST ALL THE POWER STEERING IN MY CAR. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN ALL THE YEARS OF DRIVING. VERY DANGEROUS AND NOW THE FORD DEALERSHIP SAID THAT THIS IS NOT A RECALL FOR MY VEHICLE. I KNOW THERE IS RECALL FOR THIS EXACT ISSUE SO I WANT TO PROTECT ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS MY VEHICLE. *TR
I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY GARAGE AT HOME AND AS SOON AS I PUT THE CAR IN DRIVE AND STARTED TO TURN THE WHEEL, I HEARD A LOUD CLUNK. THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND THE CAR WOULD NOT STEER. IT WAS COMPLETELY LOCKED. WHEN I TRIED TO FORCE THE WHEEL I HEARD A MASSIVE GRINDING SOUND BUT THE CAR STILL WOULDN'T STEER. I CALLED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND THEY FLAT-BEDDED THE CAR TO MY LOCAL FORD DEALER. MY CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND HAS BEEN DRIVEN RESPONSIVELY. I CAN'T BELIEVE THE STEERING WOULD BREAK LIKE THIS. THANK GOODNESS I WASN'T DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AS AN ACCIDENT SURELY WOULD HAVE OCCURRED. THE BROKEN STEERING RACK HAS BEEN ON ORDER FOR A MONTH NOW. I'M GETTING THE RUN-AROUND FROM THE FORD REPRESENTATIVE. I'M EXTRA CONCERNED BECAUSE MY WIFE DRIVES THE EXACT SAME CAR. I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED AND ONCE ITS "FIXED" HOW CAN I BE ASSURED IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. AS OF TODAY, I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN THE CAR BACK FROM THE DEALERSHIP. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who replaced the rear shocks; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to another independent mechanic, who replaced the rear shocks a second time. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
OPENED PASSENGER SIDE DOOR TO REMOVE BELONGINGS FROM VEHICLE AND WHEN CLOSING DOOR IT BOUNCED BACK OPEN. ON INVESTIGATION THE LATCH WILL NOT STAY LOCKED IN PLACE SO DOOR CAN NOT BE PROPERLY CLOSED. *TR
THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTORS AND MOUNTS BECAME LOOSE AFTER ONLY 30,000 MILES AND NOW THE WIPERS SKIP AND DO NOT CLEAR THE WINDSHIELD OFF WHEN IT IS RAINING. THIS HAPPENS WHETHER THE CAR IS MOVING OR NOT. I CHANGED WIPERS 4 TIMES UNTIL I TOOK IT TO A BODY SHOP WHERE THEY DETERMINED THE CAUSE. WHENEVER IT RAINS, I HAVE SEVERELY LIMITED VISIBILITY. I CANNOT GET IT FIXED BECAUSE IT COSTS TOO MUCH.

THE 2013 FORD FUSION LOST POWER AND SHUT-OFF WHILE SITTING IN THE DRIVEWAY. THE CAR WAS STARTED AGAIN AND BY THE TIME I MADE IT TO THE END OF DRIVEWAY AT THE SPEED OF 5 MPH, THE CAR SHUT-OFF BEFORE I COULD MAKE IT ONTO THE STREET. THERE WERE NO WARNING LIGHTS OR INDICATORS ON THE DASH WHEN THE CAR LOST POWER. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT TWO OUT OF THREE BOLTS IN THE STEERING GEAR MOTOR ASSEMBLY FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,981.
I WAS TURNING AROUND IN MY DRIVEWAY AND THE STEERING LOCKED UP. I COULD NOT TURN THE STEERING WHEEL AT ALL. *TR
THIS IS THE 6TH TIME I AM TAKING MY VEHICLE IN. THE FIRST 5 TIMES WERE FOR TRANSMISSION ISSUES. THEY FOUND "TRASH" IN MY TRANSMISSION AND HAD TO TAKE IT APART. THAT HAPPENED ABOUT 1 MONTH AGO. I NOW HAVE A SERIOUS FUEL LEAK. I PURCHASED EXTENDED WARRANTY, HOWEVER, I AM CONCERNED THAT THIS VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW AND HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH IT. I AM CONCERNED FOR THE SAFETY OF MYSELF AND MY KIDS. I DO NOT EVEN WANT MY CHILDREN IN THIS CAR ANYMORE. FRIENDS AND I RENTED A 2013 FORD FUSION FROM HERTZ WHILE ON A TRIP LAST WEEKEND. THE COMPUTER DISPLAY THAT CONTROLS THE AC AND OTHER FUNCTIONS SHUT DOWN MIDWAY THROUGH THE TRIP. THE CAR RAN WELL ENOUGH TO DRIVE, SO WE CONTINUED DRIVING IT FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TRIP. I WAS SEATED BEHIND THE DRIVER. I NOTICED A SLIGHT HEADACHE EARLIER IN THE TRIP AFTER BEING IN THE CAR. AFTER THE AC/HEAT FUNCTIONS SHUT DOWN, I GOT A MAJOR HEADACHE PLUS NAUSEA. THE OTHER BACK SEAT PASSENGER ALSO GOT A HEADACHE, THOUGHT LESS SEVERE. ONLY AFTER I WAS OUT OF THE CAR AND IN FRESH AIR DID THE HEADACHE DISSIPATE SLOWLY. I SUSPECT THAT, WITHOUT POSITIVE AIR PRESSURE IN THE CAR'S CABIN, THAT EXHAUST GASES ARE DRAWN INTO THE CAR WHILE IT'S MOVING. THIS SAME PHENOMENON OCCURRED TO ME ABOUT 14 YEARS AGO. I AM CONCERNED THAT MODERN CARS DRAW EXHAUST INTO THE CARS--OBVIOUSLY DANGEROUS. *TR
MICHELIN ENERGY SAVER A/S (V-RATED) THERE IS SOMETHING TERRIBLY WRONG WITH THIS TIRE. IN NEARLY 30 YEARS OF DRIVING VARIOUS VEHICLES, BUT IN THE SAME GENERAL VICINITY, I MUST SAY THESE ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORSE TIRES EVER!!!! MY HUSBAND AND 3 TOW TRUCK DRIVERS CONCUR. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I'VE HAD 3 COMPLETELY SHREDDED TIRES IN 15 MONTHS. I'VE BEEN VERY METICULOUS ABOUT TIRE PRESSURES AS WELL, SO THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM. I THINK THESE ARE JUST VERY CHEAP AND HAZARDOUS TIRES. TOOK VEHICLE IN FOR A NUMBER OF ISSUES, TWO OF WHICH WERE THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL WOULD SHUT OFF PREMATURELY TO COMPLETING A LEFT HAND TURN AND ALSO BOTH SIDE VIEW MIRRORS (MOSTLY DRIVERS SIDE) WOULD ALWAYS RESET ITSELF TO SOME RANDOM POSITION OTHER THAN THE ONE I SET THEM TOO WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WOULD RECEIVE POWER, (WHEN CAR IS OFF AND I WOULD EITHER OPEN ANY DOOR OR PRESS UNLOCK ON KEY FOB OR USE KEYLESS ENTRY) MIRROR ISSUE IS EASILY DUPLICATED (TURN CAR OFF AND OPEN DOOR TO CUT POWER, CLOSE DOOR, LOCK CAR, AND MUST WAIT AT LEAST 1 MINUTE FOR ALL POWER TO FULLY SHUT OFF, THEN UNLOCK CAR AND MIRRORS WOULD RANDOMLY MOVE AROUND, ALMOST AS IF THEY WERE TRYING TO CALIBRATE THEMSELVES) DEALER WITNESSED MIRROR ISSUE AS IT'S EASILY RECREATED, DID A BUNCH OF UPDATES OF VARIOUS CONTROL MODULES AND THEN SAID CAR IS FIXED. CAR WAS HOWEVER NOT FIXED AS I WENT TO USE MY TURN SIGNAL TO EXIT DEALER PARKING LOT, THE TURN SIGNALS NOW WOULD NOT STAY ON AT ALL FOR EITHER TURNING DIRECTION. I MUST NOW HOLD UP OR DOWN ON TURN SIGNAL LEVER IN ORDER TO KEEP SIGNALS BLINKING, ALSO THE MIRRORS STILL RANDOMLY MOVE WHEN ENERGIZING VEHICLE. DEALER UNABLE TO TROUBLE SHOOT ISSUE FURTHER AS TECH WAS LEAVING NOW MUCH DRIVE MY CAR WITH MALFUNCTION MIRRORS AND EVEN WORSE TURN SIGNAL ISSUE CAUSED BY THE UPDATES THEY DID PERFORM. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE FRONT SEAT PASSENGER NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR WAS NOT SECURE. AFTER STOPPING THE VEHICLE, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE DOOR WOULD NOT REMAIN SHUT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (HIXSON FORD, 2506 S. MACARTHUR DR, ALEXANDRIA, LA) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DOOR LATCH WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ALL FOUR DOOR LATCHES WERE REPLACED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V210000(LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES). THE CONTACT RECENTLY DISCOVERED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S DOOR EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL AND AFTER THE REMEDY REPAIR HAD BEEN PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
WHEN RETURNING TO VEHICLE I NOTICED THE MY FORD TOUCH RADIO WAS STILL ON. WENT TO DRIVE AWAY IN CAR AND POWER STEERING FAILED TO WORK. ALL TURN SIGNAL INDICATORS FAILED TO WORK AS I DROVE AWAY. THE DEFROST, HEATING, AND COOLING CONTROLS FAILED TO WORK. THE SPEEDOMETER FAILED TO WORK. THE 2 LCD SCREENS ON THE DASHBOARD WITH THE FUEL DISPLAY AND TACHOMETER DISPLAYED ONLY A WHITE BACKGROUND. THE POWER DOOR LOCKS FAILED TO WORK. THE RADIO WILL NOT TURN OFF WHEN THE VEHICLE IS EXITED AND THE PROBLEMS WHERE ALSO REPEATED AT THE VEHICLE DEALERSHIP. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN THE POWER STEERING, TURN SIGNALS, SPEEDOMETER AND DEFROST FAIL TO WORK WITH NO WARNING. *TR

ABOUT 2WKS A GO I NOTICED THE FOLLOWING MESSAGES ON DASHBOARD.... 1- SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC (ON RIGHT SIDE OF SPEEDOMETER, THERE WERE TWO VEHICLE ON A TRAC ICONS) 2- HILL ASSIST NOT AVAILABLE. 3- ABS LIGHT STAYED ON WHILE DRIVING. ALL THE ABOVE WARNING MESSAGES CAME ON EVERY TIME I STARTED THE CAR AND HAD TO HIT THE OK BUTTON SEVERAL TIMES TO MAKE THE HILL ASSIST MESSAGE GO AWAY, BUT ABS AND SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC REMAINED ON WHILE DRIVING. TWO DAYS AGO, WHILE DRIVING TO WORK, I NOTICE THE CAR STARTED TURNING DIAGONAL AND SLIDING FORWARD TOWARDS ON COMING LANE ON THE LEFT, I MANAGED TO BRING MY CAR BACK OVER TO MY LANE AND THIS IS WHEN I NOTICE IT PICKED UP A LITTLE BIT MORE SPEED, KEPT ON SLIDING AT AN ANGLE, BY THIS TIME THE CAR IS NOW PERPENDICULAR TO THE ROAD, SLIDING FORWARD AT THE SAME TIME HEADING TOWARDS THE DITCH ON THE RIGHT, MY CAR KEPT SLIDING WITHOUT ANY SENSE OF TRACTION, FELL ON ITS LEFT SIDE AND KEPT ON GOING AND LANDED IN THE EMBANKMENT IN THE SNOW ON ITS LEFT SIDE. IT DID SNOW THE WEEK BEFORE AND THE ROADS WERE PLOWED, I HAVE DRIVEN THIS ROAD MANY TIMES IN THE SNOW (AT TIMES WITHOUT BEING PLOWED) WITHOUT ANY ISSUES LISTED ABOVE AND I ALSO KNOW HOW THE CAR IS SUPPOSE TO FEEL WHEN TRACTION IS WORKING AND I DID NOT FEEL THAT. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME HAVING THIS PROBLEM AND HAVING THIS TYPE OF ACCIDENT. THANK GOD, I WAS NOT HURT AND WAS ABLE TO CLIMB OUT OF THE CAR THROUGH THE PASSENGER DOOR IN 10DEGREE WEATHER WHILE THE CAR WAS STANDING ON ITS LEFT SIDE. I DID NOTIFY THE DEALER WHEN THE WARNINGS INITIALLY CAME ON AND WAS TO BRING IT IN LAST THURSDAY, BUT UNFORTUNATELY I DID NOT GET OUT OF WORK IN TIME AND DEALER HAD CLOSED. I CALLED THEM THE NEXT DAY AND SERVICE PERSON ASSURED ME IT WAS OK TO DRIVE IT UNTIL I BROUGHT IT IN. THE DEALER SERVICE DEPT WERE VERY HELPFUL AND PROVIDED ME WITH RENTAL CAR UNTIL CAR IS FIXED. WHILE BRAKING USING LIGHT TO MEDIUM PRESSURE (AND, THUS, WHILE THE CAR IS USING REGENERATIVE BRAKING), IF I HIT A POTHOLE OR BUMP JUST RIGHT, THE CAR WILL SURGE FORWARD AS IF THE ACCELERATOR WAS PUSHED. (AND, OF COURSE IT WASN'T.) THE PROBLEM IS RELATIVELY INTERMITTENT, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT IS NONEXISTENT. QUITE THE OPPOSITE; IT CAN BE RECREATED AS LONG AS THE CONDITIONS ARE CORRECT (AS DESCRIBED ABOVE). EVEN WHEN YOU RECREATE THE EXACT CONDITIONS, IT IS STILL INTERMITTENT (BUT, AGAIN, THAT DOESN'T MEAN NONEXISTENT). FORD HAS LOOKED AT THE PROBLEM REPEATEDLY AND DEEMED IT "UNABLE TO RECREATE." THIS IS A FALSEHOOD; THE PROBLEM WAS RECREATED ONCE WITH A DEALER DRIVING THE CAR. ALSO, FORD GAVE ME A DATA RECORDER UNIT AND, USING THAT, I WAS ABLE TO RECREATE THE PROBLEM WHILE THE RECORDER RAN. WHEN THEY RETRIEVED THE DATA, FORD CLAIMED THE CAR "PERFORMED AS EXPECTED." FORD REFUSED TO EXPLAIN WHETHER THAT MEANT THE CAR DID NOT SURGE OR WHETHER IT APPEARED TO SURGE, BUT THE SURGE APPEARED TO BE CALLED FOR. FORD REFUSED TO RELEASE THE RAW "FLIGHT RECORDER" DATA TO ME. FORD REFUSES TO FURTHER ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM. OUT-OF-CONTROL SURGING IS A DANGEROUS AND SERIOUS PROBLEM AND THIS PROBLEM REMAINS UNRESOLVED. I HAVE DOCUMENT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY AS I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO RESOLVE THIS. THE DESIGN OF THESE WINDSHIELD WIPERS IS A CONCERN TO ME. IN MODERATE RAINS, AT MODERATE SPEEDS (45-50 MPH) VISIBILITY IS POOR DUE TO THE WAY THE WIPERS MOVE FROM OUTSIDE TO INSIDE, LEAVING A LARGE PORTION OF THE WINDSHIELD "UNWIPED" FOR A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME. HOWEVER, TODAY AT FREEWAY SPEED, THERE WAS A SUDDEN DOWNPOUR. MY WIFE HAD THE WIPERS ON HIGH, AND THERE WAS NEARLY ZERO CLEAR VISIBILITY THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE WIPERS WERE WIPING. SHE WAS FORTUNATE THAT AN ACCIDENT DID NOT OCCUR. THIS IS A CASE OF MULTIPLE INCIDENTS, FIRST INCIDENT WITH SIGNIFICANT ISSUE WAS ON 12/11/2014. AS I WAS PULLING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND REVERSING ACROSS TWO LANES OF TRAFFIC, MY CAR TURNED OFF AND SAID "PRESS BRAKE TO START" (I HAVE THE PUSH-START-IGNITION). THE CAR TURNED OFF AS I WAS REVERING ACROSS THE STREET, I HAD TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK IN ORDER TO RESTART THE CAR. I RESTARTED THE CAR AND DROVE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, WHICH THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS ISSUE AND SAID THEY COULD NOT GET ME IN FOR AN APPOINTMENT UNTIL 12/15. ON 12/14/2014, AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AT ~25MPH, MY CAR STARTED TO ACT LIKE IT WAS GOING TO QUIT, BEFORE I COULD PULL OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, THE CAR TURNED OFF AND SAID "PRESS BRAKE TO START" I WAS ABLE TO GET THE CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, AS I DID I PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND TRIED TO RESTART THE CAR AND IT JUST KEPT ROLLING OVER AND I HAD TO PUSH THE START BUTTON TO GET IT TO STOP, AS I DID, THE BRAKES AND STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP HAD THE CAR FOR 3 DAYS, COULD NOT FIND AN ISSUE. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH FORD AND THEY HAVE CLOSED MY CASE SAYING THERE IS NOT AN ISSUE. IT IS NOW AT A 2ND DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY CAN NOT FIND AN ISSUE. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY FORD TO CONTINUE DRIVING MY CAR UNTIL THE ISSUE HAPPENS AGAIN, WHICH IS A MAJOR CONCERN FOR MY PERSONAL AND OTHERS SAFETY AS I AM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. UPON INSPECTION, THE MECHANIC SAID THAT HE FOUND 2 LOOSE CLIPS THAT ATTACH TO MY FUEL LINE. I WAS TOLD THAT MY ENTIRE FUEL LINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, BUT THAT THE PART WAS ON BACK ORDER. THEY SAID I NEEDED TO STILL DRIVE MY CAR DESPITE THE "LOOSE CLIPS. " I DON'T KNOW HOW ACCURATE THEIR DIAGNOSIS IS, BUT THEY SAID MY PART WOULD FINALLY BE HERE ON NOVEMBER 17, 2014. WHEN I CALLED AGAIN YESTERDAY, THEY SAID IT WAS STILL ON BACK ORDER! FROM WHAT I'M READING ABOUT THIS STEERING WHEEL LOCK PROBLEM, IT SOUNDS LIKE MY PRIOR CONCERNS CAN ALL BE RELATED.
