I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY GOING 60MPH WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY CARS POWER JUST CUT OFF AND IT WENT INTO LIMP MODE AND HAD THE WORST IDLE AT 1100 RPM UNTIL I TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE. I THEN TURNED IT BACK ON AND THE LIMP MODE LIGHT WENT AWAY BUT A FEW MORE MILES UP IT CUT POWER AGAIN AND ALMOST CAUSED A WRECK AS I HAD TO QUICKLY THINK AND GET TO THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY. IT HAPPENED 2 MORE TIMES THAT DAY TIL I GOT IT HOME AND GOT THE ENGINE CODE P2111. I FOUND OUT LATER ITS A FAULTY THROTTLE BODY THAT THEY USED IN FUSIONS AND OTHER MODELS AND EVERYONE IS HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE OF IT RANDOMLY CUTTING OFF. IT'S A FAULTY THROTTLE BODY THAT SHOULD BE RECALLED!

TAKATA RECALL. I HAVE TRIED TO OBTAIN A REPLACEMENT AIRBG FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE SINCE 2016-07-21. I WAS TOLD THEN MY SERVICE MANAGERS THAT THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENTS AVAILABLE AND HAVE BEEN TRYING EVER SINCE TO OBTAIN ONE.

THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND COULD NOT PROVIDE AN ESTIMATED DATE FOR WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD RECEIVE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CAR WAS IN MOTION GOING DOWN THE INTERSTATE ABOUT 70 MPH. ALL OF THE SUDDEN THE CAR SPEED DROPPED SLOWLY UNTIL IT REACHED ABOUT 20 MPH WITH THE GAS PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AND IT WOULD NOT PICK SPEED BACK UP. THE SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON AND I PULLED OVER. WHEN THE GAS PEDAL WAS PUSHED WHILE THE CAR WAS IN PARK IT WOULD NOT REV AT ALL. ONCE THE CAR WAS BACK IN MOTION IT WOULD NOT GO OVER 15MPH. AFTER THE CAR WAS TURNED OFF AND THE BATTERY RESET THE CAR WAS WORKING LIKE NORMAL FOR A FEW DAYS. ONCE AGAIN DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE OUT OF NOWHERE THE SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CARS SPEED DECLINED ONCE AGAIN, ONCE THE CAR WAS TURNED OFF AND RESET IT WORKED FINE. THIS PROBLEM KEEPS HAPPENING WITH NO WARNING

THE NON-ADJUSTABLE HEADREST PUSHES MY HEAD TOO FAR FORWARD AND DOWN. THIS CAUSES PAIN IN MY NECK AND SPINE.

THE CAR STOPPED TAKING GAS ON THE HIGHWAY. WE HAD TO STOP, SHUT OFF THE ENGINE AND RESTART. WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT HAPPEND SEVERAL TIMES, 1 WEEK AFTER THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED 7 TIMES IN ONE HOUR. THE FORD GARAGE SENT US HOME AFTER THE FIRST TIME, WE SHOULD WATCH. THEN WE SHOULD WAIT 4 WEEKS FOR A REPAIR (MISSING PARTS). FINALLY THEY REPAIRED IT 1 DAY PRIOR TO OUR DEPARTURE BACK HOME. IT WAS THE THROTTLE BODY WHICH HAD TO BE EXCHANGED. BUT WE DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY SUPPORT FROM FORD OR FROM THE DEALER (GALLOWAY IN FT.MYERS). WE PAID OVER 1000$. THE VEHICLE HAS ONLY 42000 MILES.
WHILE DRIVING, WITHOUT WARNING, THE VEHICLE'S WRENCH WARNING LIGHT COMES ON AND THE VEHICLE GOES INTO IDLE MODE. THE CAR WILL NOT ACCELERATE AND YOU HAVE TO PULL OVER, TURN THE ENGINE OFF, AND THEN RESTART THE CAR.

TAKATA RECALL : THE FIRST RECALL FOR THE DRIVERS SIDE AIR BAG WAS ISSUED AROUND MAY OF 2015 AND FINALLY PARTS ARRIVED TO COMPLETE THE RECALL AROUND MAY-JUNE 2016. WITHIN WEEKS OF THAT TIME A SECOND RECALL WAS RECEIVED FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WHICH IS NOW DATED 6/1/2016. IT HAS NOW BEEN OVER A YEAR AND NO UPDATE FOR THIS CURRENT RECALL AND FORD WILL NOT GRANT A LOANER VEHICLE UNTIL THE REPAIR IS MADE. MY WIFE WILL NOT RIDE IN THE VEHICLE UNTIL THE RECALL HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND OVER 1 YEAR FOR A SAFETY RECALL SEEMS VERY IRRESPONSIBLE. PLEASE HELP GET MY WIFE BACK INTO MY AUTOMOBILE. I LIVE IN ORLANDO FLORIDA WHERE HEAT AND HUMIDITY ARE ALSO CONSIDERED TO BE FACTORS IN THE AIR BAG FAILURES.

TAKATA RECALL - WHEN THE DRIVER AIRBAG WAS RECALLED, I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED INFORMATION REGARDING THE PASSENGER AIRBAG AND WHETHER A SIMILAR REPLACEMENT WOULD BE REQUIRED. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO ISSUE WITH THE PASSENGER AIRBAG. I LATER CAME TO FIND OUT A NOTICE OF THE PROBLEM HAD ALREADY BEEN POSTED AND THE DEALER HAD MISREPRESENTED THE FACTS. MY CAR HAS SAT IN THE GARAGE FOR OVER A YEAR. WHEN FORD IS QUESTIONED, THEY SUGGEST NHTSA HAS DEEMED IT SAFE TO CONTINUING DRIVING. I SUGGEST THAT FORD SHOULD ASSUME THE LIABILITY SHOULD I CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE, HOWEVER, FORD CONTINUES TO IDENTIFY NHTSA AS BEING THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY.

TAKATA AIRBAG: FORD INC HAS FAILED TO RESOLVE THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG AFTER NEARLY 18 MONTHS, DESPITE SEVERAL EMAILS AND TELEPHONE CALLS. THEIR EMAIL INDICATES THAT CERTAIN REGIONS OF THE COUNTRY, SUCH AS THOSE WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY ARE BELIEVED TO HAVE THE HIGHEST RISK OF FAILURE AND ARE PRIORITIZED. I LIVE IN NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA -- WHICH MEETS THE CRITERIA THEY HAVE ESTABLISHED BUT THEY CONTINUE TO STATE THEY HAVE NO REPLACEMENT AIRBAGS. IN ADDITION TO THE POTENTIAL PHYSICAL RISK I AM CONCERNED THAT THE VALUE OF THE VEHICLE IS SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCED IF THIS IS NOT CORRECTED AND REQUIRING ME TO RETAIN THE VEHICLE UNTIL THEY MANAGE TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM DEPRECIATES THE WORTH OF THE VEHICLE AT SALE OR TRADE-IN.

MY AIRBAGS HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR TWO YEARS FORD WAS ABLE TO REPLACE THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG AFTER ONE YEAR EARLIER THIS YEAR THEY SENT ME A LETTER THAT SAID THE PARTS WERE INTO FIX THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG I CALLED EVERY FORD DEALER AROUND AND NO ONE HAD ANY PARTS TO FIX MY AIRBAG I WAS TOLD BY DEALERS KEEP CALLING US BACK UNTIL WE SEE IF WE HAVE SOME PARTS IN YESTERDAY I CALLED MY LOCAL FORD DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME MY NAME SHOULD'VE BEEN PUT ON A LIST AND THAT I HAD FIVE MORE WEEKS TO WAIT I HAVE ESSENTIALLY BEEN UNABLE TO USE MY CAR TO TRANSPORT ANY PASSENGERS FOR OVER TWO YEARS I HAVE CONTACTED FORD SEVERAL TIMES AND NOT RECEIVED ANY KIND OF RESPONSE

TAKATA RECALL ALMOST 12 MONTHS HAVE ELAPSED SINCE I BECAME AWARE OF THE RECALL FOR MY CAR THROUGH NATIONAL NEWS MEDIA.. I HAVE NEVER BEEN CONTACTED BY FORD MOTOR COMPANY EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT THE CAR NEW. I HAVE ASKED MY PREFERRED FORD DEALER WHEN THEY WILL IMPLEMENT THIS RECALL. THE LAST OCCASION WAS RECENTLY WHEN I HAD MY CAR SERVICED ON 4/6/2016 AND I WAS ADVISED THAT THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENT PARTS AVAILABLE SO FAR BUT IT IS EXPECTED TO IMPLEMENT THE RECALL "LATER THIS YEAR". THIS SITUATION PUTS MY FAMILY AND MY PASSENGERS AT RISK OF INJURY OR WORSE AND FORD MOTOR COMPANY HAVE NOT RESOLVED THIS IN ALMOST 12 MONTHS. WHILE DRIVING MY 2011 V6 MUSTANG THE CAR WILL COMPLETELY LOOSE POWER. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON THE HIGHWAY AND ON SIDE STREETS. THERE IS NO WARNING. THE WRENCH LIGHT COMES ON AND THE CAR IS FORCED TO IDLE. NO RESPONSE AT ALL TO THROTTLE INPUT. ERROR CODE READ IS P2111 WHICH INDICATES "THROTTLE ACTUATOR "A" CONTROL SYSTEM - STUCK OPEN". IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THE THROTTLE BODY IN THIS VEHICLE IS THE SAME AS USED IN OTHER FORD VEHICLES. A RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THOSE OTHER VEHICLES BUT EVERYONE SUFFERING FROM THIS ON THE V6 MUSTANG IS ON THEIR OWN. THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS FOR PEOPLE ACCELERATING TO MERGE AND VERY DANGEROUS ON THE HIGHWAY TO STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD OR HAVE TO LIMP TO THE SHOULDER THROUGH TRAFFIC AT IDLE. I HAVE ALREADY PAID $300 FOR A FULL THROTTLE BODY SERVICE AND THE SAME THING IS STILL HAPPENING.

ENGINE STALLED WHILE DRIVING SEVERAL TIMES (ONCE ON A CITY STREET AND TWICE ON THE HIGHWAY). ON OTHER OCCASIONS THE CAR WOULD HESITATE TO RESPOND TO THE ACCELERATOR. MECHANIC SCANNED THE COMPUTER AND FOUND CODE P2111 THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL SYSTEM STUCK OPEN, AND DETERMINED THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM TO BE THE THROTTLE BODY.
MY BACK PASSENGER FLOOR IS SOAKING WET FOR NO REASON. I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH MY AIR CONDITIONING. DEALERSHIP SAID I HAD A LEAK BUT COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM. I RESEARCHED WHEN THEY COULDN'T FIND IT. MY CAR STARTED TO NOT ONLY BLOW HOT AIR, BUT STARTED SMELLING MOLDY. MY CABIN AIR FILTER AND THE CARPARTMENT WAS FULL OF WATER. THE FILTER WAS SOAKING WET AND FULL OF MOLD. I CHANGE IT AND DRAINED THE WATER MYSELF. MY CAR AC RAN BETTER THAN EVER UP TO YESTERDAY. MY AC IS NOT BLOWING THE ICE COLD AIR AND THEIR IS LOTS OF WATER ON THE BACK FLOOR. I HAVE HEATED SEATS. THE ELECTRICAL PARTS ARE UNDER THE SEATS. I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP I HAVE THE BEST WARRANTY BUT IT DOESN'T COVER WATER. IT DIDN'T COVER THE AC EITHER. I HAVE YET TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM THAT THE PARTS ARE IN TO GET THE AIR BAG FIXED AND IT'S ALMOST FEBRUARY 2016. I'VE READ THAT THERE HAVE BEEN 10 DEATHS RELATED TO THIS RECALL AND OTHER INJURIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE ISSUE. I DRIVE A LOT FOR WORK AND MY AREA JUST RECENTLY GOT NEARLY 3 FEET OF SNOW. I'M ALREADY FEELING UNSAFE DRIVING MY CAR IN THE SNOW BUT THIS ISSUE ON TOP OF IT IS REALLY MAKING ME UPSET. INTERMITTENT LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING. HAVE TO CONSTANTLY TRY TO TURN OFF CAR AND RESTART TO GET THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING TO WORK AGAIN. LOST POWER STEERING ON THE INTERSTATE WITH KIDS IN THE CAR AND ENDED UP IN THE GRASS, ALMOST TAKING OUT THE GUARDRAIL. FORD DEALERSHIP SAYS THERE HAVE BEEN 450,000 2011-2012 VEHICLES THAT HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM AND PART, YET SOMEHOW THE MUSTANGS WEREN'T IN THE RECALL. DEALERSHIP QUOTED $1500 TO REPLACE THE SAME PART THAT IS BEING RECALLED ON OTHER VEHICLES. I HAVE READ MANY OTHER PEOPLE ARE HAVING THIS PROBLEM WITH THE SAME MUSTANGS. I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE MY KIDS AND FAMILY ANYWHERE IN THIS CAR! IT'S AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN!!
THERE IS BUBBLING PAINT ON THE ALUMINUM HOOD OF MY CAR. THE CORROSION AND BLISTERING IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM THAT FORD NEEDS TO ADDRESS. THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT SHOULD STEP UP TO THE PLATE. I REQUESTED THAT FORD PROVIDE A LOANER CAR AND I WAS ADVISED THAT "AT THIS TIME, IF A LOANER VEHICLE IS AN OPTION, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO DISCUSS WITH THE DEALERSHIP.
