My door pops open while driving. You can hear it and the dash lights up that the door is ajar. Have to pull over and open and close the door. This has happened multiple times during various speeds and road conditions. Ford has recalled the door latches on the years prior but this year is not included. It has been occurring for over a year about 3 times a month.
Passenger door unlocked and opened by itself while driving 75mph with no one in the passenger seat. Appears to be the same issues as the 2011 - 2017 mustang recall.
While driving on highways, passenger door will suddenly partially unlatch and open door warning tone and advisory displays on the dash. I must pull over in order to open and reclose the door. First event was several months ago and I assumed it was an isolated event. It has increased in frequency to at least once a week. The door is closed and locked yet it comes partially unlatched and seems to only occur at highway speeds between 60mph and 75mph. Highly distracting when driving on interstate highway and I am unsure if it comes unlatched all the way since I have not had a passenger when this occurs. Poses safety hazard both as distraction and unsafe door lock.
PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WILL UNLATCH AND OPEN WHILE DRIVING, THE DIGITAL ALERT WILL COME ON AND SAY DOOR AJAR. SEEMS TO DO THIS WHEN YOU'RE DRIVING ANYWHERE FROM 20 TO 40 MPH.IT HAS HAPPENED A TOTAL OF 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS.
