Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)While driving I lose power while on highway and or high speed . The RPMS increase to 5-6 nearly hitting red. This has happen four different times, between 60-75 mph. The mechanic didn't find anything when it happen 2nd time. It's happen again after I let go of gas to start braking to exit freeway to ramp. It finally went " back to normal " 2-3 when I had to completely stop to the side of off ramp. I continue on afterwards as if nothing happened. Serious safety issue since drivers in fear had to brake hard to avoid me this time.
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE IN A NORMAL FASHION, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BROKE. UPON INSPECTION OF THE PART, IT IS EVIDENT THE MECHANISM IS COMPRISED OF PLASTIC.
