Vehicle experienced loss of brake effectiveness due to brake vacuum pump failure. As operator described: "CUSTOMER STATES BRAKE LIGHT ERROR POPPED UP ON DASH AND BRAKES BECAME SPONGY AND VEHICLE FELT UNSAFE TO DRIVE... VEHICLE WAS TOWED IN." This failure has occurred on probably 30 identical vehicles in their fleet. Repair order evidence for this particular incident and several others is attached.
