SPRING BROKE WHILE VEHICLE WAS BEING PARKED AFTER COMPLETING A 70 MILE HIGHWAY TRIP WITH FAMILY OF 6 IN VAN. SEVERELY PUNCTURED TIRE. REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FOR REPAIR OF FAILED PART. NO LONGER OWN VEHICLE DUE TO UNSAFE CONDITIONS AND EXCESSIVE RECALLS/OWNER NOTIFICATIONS. *AK
WHILE TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH LEFT FRONT SUSPENSION SPRING BROKE. CONSUMER WAS STILL ABLE TO OPERATE VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP REPLACED SPRING. THEN, IN MAY 2001, WHILE TURNING THE VEHICLE ON, THERE WAS A LOUD "BOOM" NOISE THAT CAME FROM VEHICLE. UPON EXAMINATION, LEFT FRONT SUSPENSION SPRING HAD BROKEN AGAIN. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH VEHICLE LOST ALL POWER FROM TRANSMISSION. CONSUMER HAD TO PUT VEHICLE INTO SECOND GEAR IN ORDER TO GUIDE IT OFF THE ROAD. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC, WHO REBUILT TRANSMISSION. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/ATTACHMENTS.*AK
FRONT RIGHT WHEEL BEARINGS WERE CAUSING A "TICKING" NOISE DURING OPERATION OF VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP REPLACED WHEEL BEARINGS THREE TIMES, AND HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO REMEDY PROBLEM. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / ATTACHMENTS.*AK
WE HAVE CONTACTED FORD NUMBEROUS TIMES AND DIDN'T SEEM CONCERNED. WE HAVE SO MUCH MONEY IN THIS VAN WE CAN'T GET RID OF THIS LEMON. NOW THE ENGINE LIGHT IS COMING ON. THE INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON AND HAS RUINED BATTERIES. WE HAVE TO CHANGE BRAKES AT LEAST 3 TIMES A YEAR. NOW MY LOCKS START LOCKING W/O ANYONE PUSHING THE BUTTON. IT HAS BEEN REALLY A NIGHTMARE..
WHILE DRIVING ENGINE CHECK LIGHT ILLUMINATED, INDICATING A MALFUNCTION. SHORTLY AFTERWARDS, VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUTDOWN, CAUSE UNKNOWN. ALSO, ENGINE HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE, AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED A THIRD TIME. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS.*AK
ENGINE HEAD GASKET WAS REPLACED 1/00. ENGINE KNOCK STARTED 5/00. DEALER AND FORD REFUSED PAYMENT OR ASSISTANCE. *AK
JUST HAD TIMING COVER GASKET REPLACED BEFORE HOLIDAY VACATION. I BELIEVE REPAIR HAD DIRECT IMPACT ON WHY ENGINE FAILED. ENGINE WAS MORE SLUGGISH AFTER REPAIR. I NOTICED PROBLEMS (LACK OF ACCERATION) GOING UP HILLS AFTER THE REPAIR. THIS VEHICLE'S ENGINE IS DEFINITELY A LEMON. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MANY OTHERS. I'M HOPING (PRAYING) FORD WILL DO SOMETHING. NHTSA SHOULD FORCE FORD TO COVER THEIR MISTAKES ON THIS MODEL AND YEAR.*AK
ONGOING LOSS OF ENGINE COOLANT. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALER, AND DEALER INFORMED CONSUMER OF A BLOWN HEAD GASKET. MANUFACTURTER WAS NOTIFIED, AND INFORMED CONSUMER THAT VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER MANUFACTURER'S ENTENDED WARRANTY OF 7 YEARS/100,000 MILES. *AK
TOTAL BRAKE FAILURE DUE TO CORROSION OF THE RIGHT FROM BRAKE LINE. VEHICLE TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP FOR REPAIRS. MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED. *AK *ML
WAS DRIVING 55MPH AND ENGINE EXPLODED. COOLANT SYSTEM MIXED IN WITH THE OIL ACCORDING TO MECHANIC AFTER TAKING VEHICLE TO DEALER. HEAD GASKET WAS CAUSE OF PROBLEM. PRIOR TO ENGINE EXPLODING, HEAD GASKET WAS REPLACED. THERE WAS ENGINE STALLING PROBLEMS. TOOK TO DEALER & IT CAUGHT FIRE. WAS NOTIFIED PROBLEM WAS THE ENGINE (TWICE). IT NEEDED REPLACING.*AK
FORD REPLACED ENGINE AFTER HEAD GASKT REPAIRS CONTAMINATED.JERKING AGAIN!!THE ORIGINAL ENGINE WAS REPLACED AUG 2000 AFTER RON ROBERT'S FORD CONTAMINATED IT WHEN REPAIRING THE HEAD GASKET THAT WENT OUT. (WHICH IN ORDER TO HAVE REPAIRED I HAD TO GET MY STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL CONSUMER PROTECTION OFFICE INVOLVED BECAUSE FORD AND RON ROBERTS REFUSED TO REPLACE THE GASKET EVEN AFTER I HAD BEEN IN AND HAD IT CHECKED 4 MONTHS BEFORE AS PER AN OWNER NOTIFICATION I RECEIVED.) I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO BE REPAIRED BY PRUITT FORD IN BURKBURNETT, TX AFTER THE RON ROBERTS FIASCO. PRUITT DID THE ENGINE REPLACEMENT. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS STILL ON...I TOOK IT BACK AND HAD SOME HOSES REPLACED. I WAS ADVISED THAT NO TUNE UP WAS NEEDED (NOTE: MY OXYGEN SENSOR WAS REPLACED 4 MONTHS BEFORE MY ENGINE BLEW). FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 3 YEARS MY CHECK ENGINE WAS OFF. I JUST GOT ON THE ROAD FOR LONG TRIP (THE FIRST SINCE THE HOSES WERE REPLACED) AFTER 1 HOUR THE VEHICLE STARTED JERKING WHEN I WAS TRAVELLING AT 50-60 MPH. ONLY LOWER SPEEDS (40-50MPH) OR HIGHER SPEEDS (70-80 MPH) STOPPED THE JERKS. I PULLED OVER FOR ABOUT 15 MINS, RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AND, ONCE AGAIN, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. THE ENGINE ALSO STALLS WHEN MAKING SUDDEN AND HARD STOPS. THIS JERKING IS THE EXACT SAME THING THE FIRT ENGINE WAS DOING BEFORE THE HEAD GASKET WENT OUT. I WAS TOLD BY PRUITT THAT FORD WOULD NOT HOLD UP THE "100,000 MI HEAD GASKET REPAIR" ON MY NEW ENGINE EVEN THOUGH IT ONLY HAS 12,000 MI. ON IT. CAN NHTSA DO ANYTHING TO STOP THIS THING. I HAVE BEEN GOING ROUND AND ROUND WITH FORD ABOUT MY VEHICLE SINCE 1998. I LIKE THE WINDSTARS RIDE AND ROOMINESS BUT I DO NOT LIKE HOW FORD IS TREATING ME. I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE IN FOR ALL THE OWNER NOTIFICATIONS (3 SO FAR) AND KEEP UP MY MAINTENANCE. WHO PROTECTS THE CONSUMER FROM HALF TRUTHS AND JUST PLAIN BAD BUSINESS ETHICS?*AK
I WOULD INTERMITTENTLY SMELL COOLANT WHEN MY '95 WINDSTAR WAS STOPPED AND WARM. I BROUGHT IT INTO TO THE DEALER TO CHECK OUT BECAUSE I WAS AWARE THAT THERE HAVE BEEN MANY ISSUES WITH HEAD GASKET FAILURES ON THE WINDSTAR (EVEN THOUGH I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED BY FORD MOTOR CO THAT THERE WAS ANY KIND OF "EXTENDED WARRANTY" OR RECALL ON THE HEAD GASKET). END RESULT WAS THAT THE HEAD GASKET WAS NOT LEAKING, BUT THE TIMING COVER GASKET WAS. BECAUSE I WAS AWARE THERE WAS THE POTENTIAL FOR THE HEAD GASKET FAILURE, I HAD THE DEALER REPLACE BOTH THE HEAD GASKET AND THE TIMING COVER GASKET. THE HEAD GASKET REPAIR WAS COVERED UNDER THE "EXTENDED WARRANTY" BY FORD, HOWEVER THE TIMING COVER GASKET WAS NOT. AFTER LOOKING INTO THIS SERVICE ISSUE FURTHER, I REALIZE THAT THE TIMING COVER GASKET FAILURE IS ALSO A VERY COMMON REPAIR IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE HEAD GASKET REPAIR. I AM LOOKING TO PUT PRESSURE ON FORD MOTOR CO TO STEP UP AND ADMIT THAT THE TIMING COVER GASKET IS ALSO OF POOR QUALITY AND SUBJECT TO FAILURE, AND AM HOPEFUL THAT AN "EXTENDED WARRANTY" OR "RECALL" WILL BE ISSUED ON THE TIMING COVER GASKET REPAIR AS WELL. *AK
TRANSMISSION FAILED WHILE IN TURN ACROSS 4 LANE ROAD THANK GOD NO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. *AK
CONSUMER WAS HAVING TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. VEHICLE WOULD SHIMMY & HESITATE WHEN CHANGING GEARS. DEALER FOUND THAT TRANSMISSON FLUID WAS BLACK & BURNT. TRANSMISSION WAS LAST SERVICED ON JAN. 27TH, 1999. CONSUMER WAS LOOKING FOR REIMBURSMENT & WILL BE FILLING A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE MANUFACTURER. *AK
THE LAST INCIDENT REPORTED DATED 1/07/00 I WAS TOLD A VERY COMMON OCCURRENCE WITH THE 3.8 LITER ENGINES. COMMONLY SEEN IN THE 95 WINDSTAR AND THE FORD TARAUS. I HAD A COOLENT LEAK AND HAD TO REPLACE THE TIMING COVER, AND GASKET. THIS WAS EXTENSIVE WORK WITH REQUIRED REPLACEMENT OF THE FRONT CRANKSHAFT, OIL SEAL AND NEW TIMING BELT. THIS ALSO DID DAMAGE TO MY WATER PUMP AND I HAD TO HAVE THIS REPLACED ALSO. I HAVE COPIES OF MY INVOICES FOR THE SERVICES COMPLETED AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO REPORT THIS TO FORD DIRECTLY. *AK
WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT THE NORMAL SPEED LIMIT LEFT REAR DROPPED LIKE IN A BLOWOUT. VEHICLE STARTED TO FISHTAIL. PULLED OVER, AND NOTICED THAT LEFT REAR WAS DOWN, AND THE SHOCKS WERE BLOWNOUT. HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO DEALER. CONSUMER WAS TOLD THAT LEFT REAR CONTROL ARM SNAPPED, CAUSING IT TO DISCONNECT THE REAR AXLE FROM FRAME. *AK

THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED DUE TO FAILURE MAY 17, 2000, REPLACEMENT TRANSMISSION WAS EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS AS WELL AND WAS REPLACED ON JULY 14, 2000, HOWEVER THE TRANSMISSION IS STILL NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. *MJS
WON'T DOWNSHIFT CORRECTLY, DOES JUMPY MOVEMENTS. THERE IS A DELAYED REACTION BETWEEN THE ACCELERATOR AND MOVEMENT OF CAR. CAR WILL SHAKE A DO BANG NOISES. THIS IS THE SECOND TRANSMISSION REPAIR. ON 6-22-99 REPORTED PROBLEM TO DEALER AND THE TRANSMISSION PAN GASKET WAS REPLACED. *AK
ON 5-15-00 I BROUGHT MY WINDSTAR BACK TO THE DEALER BECAUSE IT CONTINUED TO LOSE COOLANT. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS THE HEAD GASKET AND THAT ALL COSTS WOULD BE COVERED BY FORD DUE TO AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. WHEN I PICKED MY CAR UP IT DIDN'T SEEM TO ENGAGE INTO GEAR PROPERLY. ON RETURNING HOME(1/2 MILE) I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO REPORT THE PROBLEM. I RETURNED THE VAN AND WAS TOLD THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS GONE AND WOULD COST ALMOST $3,000.00 TO REPAIR. I HAVE SINCE CONTACTED FORD AND MUST NOW WAIT FOR TWO BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE I WILL BE CONTACTED BY THE DEALER. *AK
HEADGASKET REPLACED UNDER RECALL. WATER PUMP GASKET REPLACED AT OWNER COST. VEHICLE IS NOW RUNNING POORLY (SUSPECT SAME FAILURE OR FAILED ENGINE CRANK AND BEARINGS) AND LEAKING OIL FROM MAIN SEAL. ANOTHER 1000 DOLLAR REPAIR ACCORDING TO DEALER.
COMPUTER FAILED WHICH ALLOWED CYLINDER #3 AND 6 TO MIS FIRE WITH THE INJECTOR OPEN ALL THE TIME PUTTING APPROXIMATELY ONE GALLON OF GASOLINE INTO THE OIL AND GAS INTO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. AN ENGINE FIRE/EXPLOSION COULD EASILY HAVE OCCURRED. FORD REFUSES TO TAKE ACTION DUE TO MILEAGE. *AK
SEEKING ASST FOR REPAIR OF APPARENT DEFECT AS 60% OF ONLINE REPORTED INCIDENTS INVOLVE HEAD GASKETS. 2ND TIME HEAD GASKETS BLEW W/ 117132 MILES. 1ST TIME AT 83,000 MILES REPAIRED. *AK
WHILE PULLING OUT OF A PARKING RAMP DRIVER'S SIDE FRAME FELL OVER TIRE. VEHICLE TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP. MECHANIC INFORMED CONSUMER THAT FRONT COIL SPRING BROKE. MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED, AND INFORMED CONSUMER THAT VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER A RECALL DUE TO VIN. *AK *ML
INSURANCE COMPANY WILL NOT REPLACE CHILD BOOSTER SEATS WITHOUT PROOF THEY NEED REPLACING AFTER A REAR END COLLISION. DO ANY LAWS OR REGULATIONS EXIST COVERING THIS?*NO SAFETY DEFECT. *AK
TIMING CHAIN COVER GASKET IS PREMATURELY LEAKING, CAUSE UNKNOWN. *AK 95 WINDSTARS WERE RECALLED FOR INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKETS AND VALVE COVER GASKETS FAILURES. ON ALL MOST ALL OF THESE RECALLS THE FRONT TIMNING CHAIN GASKETS ARE LEAKING. *YH
AFTER ENGINE BEGAN RUNNING ROUGHLY AND FUEL LEAKING OUT OF TAIL PIPE, TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER. A TECHNICIAN SAID THAT PROBLEM WAS WITH PCM CONTROL MODULE THAT WAS NOT CONTROLING FUEL THAT GET INTO THE EXHAUST SYSTEM, AND LEAKED OUT THE TAIL PIPE AND CREATED A FIRE HAZZARD. *AK
TRANSMISSION FAILED AFTER HAVING REPAIRED TO HEAD GASKET AND ENGINE BLOCK. FORD DEALER DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ANY CONNECTION. *AK
ENGINE HEAD GASKET RECALL WORK WAS DONE . ENGINE OVERHEATED AND FAILED ONE MONTH LATER .ENGINE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED .THEY FOUND OTHERE GASKETS THAT ALSO WENT BAD AS IN THE TIMMING CHAIN COVER. *AK

WAS EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH HEAD GASKET LEAKING ON 01 JAN 00. HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO MECHANIC & INFORMED HEAD CONSUMER THAT GASKET WAS REPAIRED PREVIOUSLY. PROBLEM CAUSED ENGINE TO BE DAMAGED. MECHANIC INDICATED VEHICLE IS DRIVEABLE, BUT ENGINE WAS DYING & HAD OWNER DRIVE OFF LOT. RETURNED VEHICLE & ENGINE WAS REPLACED. NEW ENGINE STARTED TO HAVE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. AIR CONDITIONER DID NOT WORK & DOME LIGHT CAME ON AND OFF.*AK
JUST BEFORE VEHICLE WENT OUT OF WARRANTY (APPROX. 31,000) TRANSAXLE WENT OUT. FORD REPLACED THE ENTIRE TRANSAXLE. LAST MAY, AT 141,000 MI. THE REPLACEMENT WENT OUT. THOUGH THE VEHICLE HAS HIGH MILEAGE, THE MILES HAVE BEEN "EASY" PRIMARILY HIGHWAY MILES. AS EVIDENCE OF THIS, THE VEHICLE STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL MUFFLER SYSTEM, AND HAS ONLY HAD TWO SETS OF BRAKES IN 150,000 PLUS MILES OF USE. I FEEL IT IS UNREASONABLE, IN THE 1990'S-2000'S FOR A TRANSAXLE TO FAIL ONCE, BUT CERTAINLY TWICE IS OUT OF LINE. THE REBUILD OF THE "TRANNY" COST ME $2,100 PLUS.*AK
LEFT SIDE FRONT COIL SPRING BROKE. *AK
VEHICLE WAS EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS, CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER AND WAS INFORMED OF A RECALL ON THE MOTOR, THE PART TOOK 8 WEEKS TO COME IN AT WHICH TIME THE CONSUMER HAD NO USE OF THE VEHICLE AND HAD TO RENT A CAR. NLM
VEHICLE WAS LEAKING ENGINE COOLANT AND OIL DUE TO HEAD GASKET FAILING. CONSUMER HAD HEAD GASKET REPLACED. BUT AFTER ONLY 22,000 MILES HEAD GASKET WENT OUT AGAIN. DEALER DID NOT WANT TO REPLACE HEAD GASKET AGAIN.*AK
THE ABS BRAKES WERE INSPECTED THREE TIMES BY THE DEALER UNDER WARRANTY AND THE PROBLEM WAS NOT SOLVED, AND THE BRAKES CONTINUE TO ACT ERRATICALLY. ENGINE HEAD GASKET WAS REPLACED BY FORD UNDER ITS WARRANTY IN 1998 BUT IT CONTINUED TO LEAK SMALL AMOUNTS. THE TIMING CHAIN GASKET IS NOW LEAKING. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED AT OUR EXPENSE IN FEBRUARY 1999 (WE'VE REPORTED IT HERE EARLIER) ALL THESE PROBLEMS ARE WELL KNOWN BY FORD, BUT EXCEPT FOR THE HEAD GASKETS, IT HAS STONEWALLED US AND OTHER CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE REPAIRS. THE TRANSMISSION AND THE ABS ARE DEFINITE SAFETY HAZARDS, AND THE ENGINE DAMAGE THAT CAN RESULT FROM THE GASKET FAILURES CAN LEAVE PEOPLE STRANDED WITHOUT NOTICE. *AK
ANTI- FREEZE IS LEAKING FROM THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE AT THE HEAD GASKET. THIS IS THE THIRD OCCURRENCE OF THIS PROBLEM. THE TWO PRIOR GASKET FAILURES WERE REPAIRED AT THE DEALORSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE, AT NO CHARGE. I WAS INFORMED BY THE FORD CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER THAT THE WARRANTY FOR THE HEAD GASKET HAD BEEN EXTENDED TO 100,000 MILES. HOWEVER MY VEHICLE HAS 118,000 AND IS NO LONGER COVERED. *AK
WHY IS THERE NO RECALL FOR THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS? THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FOUND IN SEVERAL WEBSITES & NEWSPAPER ARTICLES REGARDING TRANSMISSION FAILURES/DEFECTS IN THE 1995-97 WINDSTARS. *AK
TIMING COVER GASKET IS A $30 PART THAT CANNOT BE REACHED UNLEES THE MOTOR IS TAKEN OUT FOR AN ADDITIONAL $750. IN LABOR. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS BECAUSE OF THE WAY FORD BUILT THE WINDSTAR. THEY ADVERTISE FORD BUILT TOUGH AND BUILT TO LAST. THIS IS THE SECOND FAILURE OF A GASKET ON THIS CAR. IT DOESN'T SEEM THAT IT IS BUILT TO LAST. FORD SHOULD BE MADE ACCOUNTABLE AND SHOULD COVER THIS REPAIR.

CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 65MPH ON HIGHWAY AND VEHICLE WAS RUNNING HOT SHE WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO SHOULDERS. A TOW TRUCK HAD TO TOW THE VEHICLE. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE USED IN JULY 1997 WITH 32,000 MILES. SINCE THAT TIME, I HAVE HAD THE BRAKES REPAIRED THREE TIMES AND THEY STILL SQUEAK. THE AIRBAG MODULE HAD TO BE REPLACED FOUR MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE, LUCKILY UNDER FEDERAL WARRANTY. THEN IN JUNE 1999, I HAD TO REPLACE THE FUEL TANK BECAUSE THE STRAPS CAUSED IT TO CRACK. FORD WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP BECAUSE THERE WAS NO RECALL. IN JANUARY THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM, BUT ONLY IN CERTAIN COUNTIES IN CERTAIN STATES, NOT NJ, FORD WOULD NOT BEND, DESPITE MY LETTERS AND PHONE CALLS. IN LATE MARCH 2000, MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN AS DID MY ABS LIGHT. MY BRAKES NEEDED TO BE FIXED AGAIN. SINCE MY AIRBAG WAS FIXED OVER 12 MONTHS AGO, IT WAS NOT COVERED. MY ENGINE CHECK LIGHT CAME ON APRIL 11 AND STAYED ON FOR TWO DAYS, THEN TURNED OFF. WE WERE PLANNING A TRIP TO WASH, DC, SO I BROUGHT IT TO FULLERTON FORD FOR SERVICE ON 4/25. THEY INFORMED ME THAT IT NEEDS HEAD GASKETS (WHICH IT WAS RECALLED FOR) AND $1,400 WORTH OF OTHER WORK, NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE AIRBAG LIGHT, OR THE ENGINE CHECK LIGHT. THE ENGINE CHECK LIGHT WAS FOR A CAMSHAFT POSITIONING SENSOR THAT IS A $50 PART, WITH $150 WORTH OF LABOR, ALSO WANT ME TO HAVE A TIMING COVER GASKET REPLACED AT $815, A TEMP GAUGE AT $82, AN ENGINE FLUSH FOR $99.95, A WATER PUMP AT $140 PARTS ONLY, $40 FOR DRIVE BELT, AND MISC. LABOR AT $111.00. MY COMPLAINT IS THIS. I DROPPED THE CAR OFF ON 4/24 FOR A 4/25 APPT., THEY HADN'T LOOKED AT IT AT 4:00 ON 4/25 AND WANTED ME TO PICK IT UP AND BRING IT BACK THE NEXT DAY. WHEN I PROTESTED, THEY LOOKED AT IT AND SAID IT WOULD NEED HEAD GASKETS. THEY SAID THE FORD REP WOULD BE OUT THE NEXT DAY AND THAT HE WOULD ALSO CONSIDER MY GAS TANK COMPLAINTS. ON THURSDAY, 4/27, THEY SAID THE WORK WOULD BE DONE "HOPEFULLY" BY 5/5. TODAY, 5/2, ONE WEEK AFTER DROPPING OFF THE VAN, THEY ARE TELLING ME I WON'T HAVE IT BACK UNTIL 5/12 OR 5/19 AT THE EARLIEST!!!! BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO BACKLOGGED WITH VEHICLES.???
