THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL SHORTAGE, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO HAVE NO LIGHTS INSIDE THE VEHICLE.*JB
TURNED ON REAR DEFOGGER-WINDOW SHATTERED
WHEN CLOSING PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR THE DOOR WOULD NOT CLOSE. CONSUMER MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEALERSHIP. *AK
WE HAVE LEASED A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR AND HAVE HAD IT FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 YEARS, TAKING OUT 15,000 MILES PER YEAR. SEVERAL DAYS AGO, WE COULD NOT MOVE THE CAR AFTER WE STOPPED AT A LIGHT. WE FINALLY HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED AT OUR EXPENSE AND FOUND OUT THAT THE WHOLE TRANSMISSION HAD BEEN "BLOWN." (ONLY AFTER 40,000 MILES.) WE FELT THAT OUR SAFETY WAS AT STAKE, SINCE NO WARNING SIGNS WITHIN THE VAN, TOLD US THAT THE PROBLEM EXISTED AND WE WERE AT A MAJOR INTERSECTION, WHICH COULD HAVE RESULTED IN SOME SERIOUS INJURIES.
WHILE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN DRIVE WAY REAR WINDSHIELD BROKE. TS. *AK
ENGINE LIGHT CONTINUED TO COME ON. AFTER DIAGNOSTIC WAS COMPLETE, IT WAS DETERMINED TO REPLACE THE EGR VALVE & SENSOR. VAN HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO PASS INSPECTION IN NC DUE TO "NOT READY" REJECTION SINCE THE ABOVE MENTIONED REPAIRS WERE MADE. THE MINIVAN HAS BEEN AT THE FORD MOTOR DEALERSHIP FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 WEEKS, AND THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. AN ENGINEER FROM THE FORD DETROIT OFFICE WAS SENT TO RALEIGH, NC TO INVESTIGATE THE PROBLEM, AND CAUSE STILL UNDERTERMINED. SENSORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED AS WELL AS MAIN COMPUTER CHIP. WIRES LEADING TO SENSORS HAVE BEEN CHECKED. DEALERSHIP IS AT A LOSS, AND CAUSE OF PROBLEM STILL UNKNOWN. MEANWHILE, WE HAVE A VEHICLE UNABLE TO PASS NC INSPECITON.
THE DASH SHORTED OUT. CAUSING THE HEATER, FAN, AND RADIO TO STAOP WORKING. I HAD ALREADY TAKEN THE VAN IN FOR THE EARLIER RECALL AND THE SEAL WAS REPLACED. THEN IT SHORTED AGAIN AND THIS TIME I HAD TO PAY FOR IT.
CONSUMER COLLIDED HEAD-ON WITH AN 80-90LB ANIMAL TRAVELLING APPROXIMATELY 45-50MPH. BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. TS
CONSUMER COLLIDED HEAD-ON WITH AN ANIMAL WEIGHING APPROXIMATELY 80-90LBS WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 45-50MPH ON HIGHWAY. THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SAFETY BELTS EXTRACTED "ENTIRELY" FROM THEIR HOUSING AND DID NOT RETRACT TO RESTRAIN OCCUPANTS. THE CONSUMER AND PASSENGER SUFFERED INJURIES AS A RESULT. TS
I HAVE READ NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ON EDMUNDS.COM (TOWN HALL) FROM OTHER WINDSTAR OWNERS. I'M CONCERNED FOR MY FAMILY WITH THESE DOORS FAILING. I AM GOING BACK TO MY FORD DEALER FOR A SECOND VISIT TO HAVE THEM FIX A PROBLEM THAT IS OF GRAVE IMPORTANCE TO MY FAMILY AND FAMILIES OF WINDSTAR OWNERS. FORD NEEDS TO TAKE THIS MATTER MORE SERIOUSLY AND PROVIDE MORE SUPPORT TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS WITH THESE DOORS FAILING TO WORK PROPERLY. CONSUMER STATES THAT WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH AND THE SIDE AIR BAG ON THE PASSANGER SIDE DEPLOYED WITH NO SPECIFIC REASON.THERE WAS A LOT OF DAMAGE ON THE VEHICLE.DEALER WAS NOTIFIED. NLM
WHILE PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE, AFTER REMOVING FOOT FROM ACCELERATOR, THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD AND COULD NOT BE STOPPED WITH NORMAL BRAKING. THE VEHICLE STRUCK THE SIDE OF ANOTHER CAR BEFORE STANDING ON THE BRAKES FINALLY RESULTED IN STOPPING THE VEHICLE. MR
FREQUENT STALLING AND INCONSISTENT ENGINE IDLE, ESPECIALLY WHEN CAR IS STOPPED BUT STILL IN GEAR (AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS, ETC). PARTS REPAIRED AND/OR REPLACED INCLUDE: COIL WIRE, CAM SENSOR, CYLINDER WIRE AND FUEL PUMP. REPEATED BLOWN FUSES FOR FUEL PUMP. EVEN AFTER REPAIRS CAR STILL STALLS WHEN STOPPED AND ENGINE IDLE IS INCONSISTENT, WORSE WHEN STOPPED. HAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE SINCE 2002. *TR
CONSUMER NOTICED THAT DRIVER'S REAR SIDE DOOR DID NOT LATCH. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND MECHANIC REPLACED THE DOOR SWITCH. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM RECURRED, AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER. *AK
CONSUMER STATES THAT WHEN STARTING UP THE VEHICLE AND NO WARNING THE ENGINE CAUGHT ON FIRE UNDER THE HOOD CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO BE NON DRIVABLE. DEALER NOTIFIED. MR
I FEEL THAT THESE COMPONENT FAILURES HAVE CAUSED A SAFETY RISK FOR MY FAMILY AND I. I BOUGHT A WINDSTAR BASED MAINLY ON IT'S SAFETY RATINGS. THIS DISAPPOINTS ME. *AK
NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE HOOD OF VEHICLE. SHORTLY AFTER, THE VEHICLE WAS IN FLAMES. *MR INVESTIGATIVE REPORT REVEALED THAT THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE WAS FROM THE FAILURE OF THE AIR CONDITIONER LINES WHICH HAD BEEN REPLACED PRIOR TO THE FIRE. *TT
INTERIOR LIGHTS FLASH ON AND OFF INCLUDING DASH LIGHTS TAKEN IN ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS BUT PROBLEM STILL EXISTS TO THIS DAY. ABS AND BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON CONSTANTLY UP TO AND INCLUDING TODAY. NOISE THAT SOUNDS LIKE BONES CRUNCHING FROM STEERING WHEEL OR UNDER FOOT? AND BUZZING FROM RIGHT FRONT TIRE ON LEFT TURNS. TOOK INTO FORD DEALER FOR ALL COMPLAINTS, NEVER FIXED. *TR
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE HAD THE VAN IN BECAUSE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. THE FIRST TIME THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A FAULTY SENSOR BUT NOW THEY SAY IT IS A CRACKED SEAL IN THE FUEL TANK. WHEN I ASKED THE PART'S GUY WHEN I COULD EXPECT THE PART IN HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A "NATIONAL BACKORDER" ON THE FUEL TANK BECAUSE FORD HAS HAD TO REPLACE A LOT OF THEM.
CONSUMER HAS NOTICED A KNOCKING NOISE IN ENGINE. VEHICLE IS AT DEALERSHIP AT THIS TIME.*AK
WHILE DRIVING THEFT LIGHT ON DASH COMES ON REAR WIPER COMES ON BY IT SELF AND ENGINE TURNS OFF LEAVING VEHICLE MOVING WITH NO POWER, NO STEERING, NO BRAKES. AFTER STOPPING VEHICLES IGNITION IS LOCKED OUT WITH NO POWER/NO CRANK.*AK
WHILE TRYING TO STOP CONSUMER WILL PRESS ACCELERATOR PEDAL INSTEAD ON BRAKE PEDAL DUE TO THE FACT THAT ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND BRAKE PEDAL ARE TOO CLOSE. DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK
AFTER STARTING VEHICLE ABS LIGHT STAYED ON AND OVERDRIVE LIGHT WAS FLASHING. VEHICLE NOT TAKEN TO DEALER YET.*AK
WHILE SITTING AT A STOP WITH FOOT APPLIED TO THE BRAKE PEDAL AND BRAKE PEDAL FAILED AND WENT STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR. VEHICLE LURCHED FORWARD WITH FORCE AND ENTERED FIRST LANE OF TRAFFIC ON HIGHWAY. ABS LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE DASHBOARD, AND THE WARNING CHIME WENT OFF. SEVERAL TIMES VEHICLE HAS BEEN AT DEALER TO DETERMINE PROBLEM, BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN FOUND. DEALER WAS NOTIFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION.*AK
WHILE DRIVING DOWN A 2 LANE HIGHWAY, MY DRIVER'S SIDE AUTOMATIC DOOR OPENED ON IT'S OWN. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TURNED OFF THE AUTOMATIC SETTING, AND SHUT THE DOOR MANUALLY. LUCKILY, I WAS IN THE VAN ALONE, NOT WITH MY WIFE AND 3 1/2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND TOLD ME TO GET IT TO THEM RIGHT AWAY. THEY COULD NOT GET IT TO MALFUNCTION WHILE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, BUT I DID INFORM THEM THAT THE DOOR, WHEN FULLY CLOSED, DOES STICK OUT FURTHER THAN THE PASSENGER SIDE. THEY READJUSTED THE DOOR AND SAID THAT NO OTHER REPORTS OF THIS HAPPENING HAS EVER OCCURRED WHEN THEY TALKED TO FORD ENGINEERING. BUT, I SEE ON THIS SITE MANY REPORTS OF A SIMILAR NATURE. WAITING ON DEALERSHIP FOR POSSIBLE EXCHANGE OF VEHICLE.*AK
2ND ATTEMPT TO FIX NOISE COMING FROM WINDSHIELD, COWL WAS REPLACED, BUT PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. SOUNDS LIKE WINDOWS ARE OPEN INSIDE WHEN AIR IS OFF, ALL WINDOWS ARE SHUT. SPEEDS REACH 55 AND OVER, LOUD SQUEEK COMING FROM LOWER WINDSHIELD AREA. WHEN I SPOKE TO MECHANIC HE MENTIONED THAT THIS WAS OTHER FORD VANS WITH SAME PROBLEM, BUT NO RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED, WHY? IT DOESN'T SEEM SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE KNOWING THAT THERE IS AIR COMING IN UNDER THE WINDSHIELD. WE ARE GOING IN FOR OUR 3RD ATTEMPT AND WE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT OUR MANUF. WARRANTY RUNNING OUT BEFORE THIS MATTER IS CORRECTED. PLEASE HELP!*AK
WHILE THE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING AT 35 MPH HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE. DURING THE ACCIDENT THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. ALSO, THE SEAT BELT FAILED. DUE TO THIS ACCIDENT THE CONSUMER BRUISED HER STERNUM AND HURT HER BACK. *YH
WHEN DRIVING AT ANY SPEED THERE IS VIBRATION IN FRONT END OF VEHICLE. VEHICLE IS AT DEALERSHIP AT THIS TIME.*AK
THE PASSENGER SIDE POWER SLIDING DOOR OPENS ON ITS OWN WHILE THE CAR IS MOVING. IT HAPPENED TWICE IN ONE DAY. I WAS TOLD THAT FORD IS "AWARE OF THE PROBLEM" AND THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON A NEW HINGE ASSEMBLY. IN THE MEANTIME, I AM AFRAID TO PUT MY KIDS IN THE VAN. I SEE OTHER COMPLAINTS FOR THIS SAME ISSUE (738418, 866315, 871988, 730676, 871684). I ALSO KNOW OF TWO OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. LUCKILY, NO ONE WAS HURT, BUT THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.*AK
SLIDING DOOR BEHIND DRIVER KEEPS COMING OPEN WHILE DRIVING. DEALER HAS MADE NUMEROUS ADJUSTMENTS AND PROBLEM KEEPS OCCURRING. CONSUMER STATES VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN OR ANYONE IN THE REAR. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
INTERMITTENTLY VEHICLE HAS A 6-7 SECOND DELAY RESPONSE TO ACCELERATION. WHEN THROTTLE IS APPLIED ENGINE REVS UP, AND JERKS BEFORE ACCELERATING. PROBLEM IS MORE LIKELY TO HAPPEN IN THE MORNING. DEALER WAS NOTIFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION.*AK
FLUID FROM POWER STEERING SYSTEM LEAKED ONTO SOME HOT ENGINE COMPONENT, PROBABLY THE EXHAUST SYSTEM, AND PRODUCED A ROLLING FIRE AT THE REAR OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT BELOW THE FIREWALL. VEHICLE WAS BEING PARKED IN A PARKING SPACE IN FRONT OF A SERVICE STATION WHEN FIRE ERUPTED. MY SON WHO WAS INSIDE THE STATION, SAW THE FIRE AND RUSHED OUT TO WARN US OUT OF THE VEHICLE. STATION PERSONNEL BROUGHT A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND MY SONS (THE OTHER WAS DRIVING) RAISED THE HOOD AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THE FIRE WAS BURNING FIERCELY AND WAS DIFFICULT TO REACH, BUT WAS EXTINGUISHED BEFORE ANY FUEL SYSTEM COMPONENTS BECAME INVOLVED. SMOKE HAD COME FROM UNDER THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT TWICE PREVIOUSLY DURING THE DAY, BUT WE ASSUMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION HAD BEEN OVERFILLED AND THE EXCESS WAS BEING VENTED AND BOILING OFF ON THE TRANSMISSION. I CALLED FORD WITH THE ASSUMPTION THAT EXCESS TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS LEAKING AND WAS TOLD THAT THE TRANSMISSION WOULD PROBABLY BE ALRIGHT. SINCE THIS WAS MY MOTHER'S FUNERAL, WE DECIDED TO CONTINUE IN THE VEHICLE TO THE CEMETERY. SMOKE AGAIN CAME FROM UNDER THE HOOD WHEN WE PARKED AT THE CEMETERY, BUT CLEARED QUICKLY. WE HAD DRIVEN ABOUT 10 MILES FROM THE CEMETERY WHEN THE FIRE OCCURRED.
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE 55 MPH THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD ON COLLISION YET NEITHER OF THE FRONTAL AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. *NLM

THIS IS THE 5TH TIME THAT THIS ENGINE PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED, AND EACH TIME IT STAYS IN THE SHOP 12 DAYS AND OUT 26 DAYS. DEALER DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ABLE TO CORRECT PROBLEM AND IS VERY RUDE WHEN VEHICLE IS TAKEN IN SAYS THIS IS NOTHING. *AK
WHILE AT A COMPLETE STOP VEHICLE STARTED TO ACCELERATE AND TRIED TO GO FORWARD, BUT CONSUMER WAS STEPPING ON BRAKE PEDAL. CONTACTED DEALER, AND DEALER WAS NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING.*AK
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG, TRACTION CONTROL AND BRAKE WARNING LIGHTS CONTINUED TO INTERMITTENTLY ILLUMINATE. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT A FUSE BLEW AND THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. AN UNKNOWN LOCAL DEALER WAS NOTIFIED, INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE MANUFACTURER CONFIRMED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS AND OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
BRAKES FAILED ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS (REPAIR DATES: 3/22/02, 4/1/02 AND 4/15/02). FIRST, MY WIFE NOTED THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS GOING ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR BEFORE THERE WAS ANY RESPONSE. THE DEALERSHIP ADVISED THAT THIS WAS NORMAL. WE INSISTED THAT IT WASN'T, UNTIL THERE LEAD TECHNICIAN FOUND AND REPLACED A FAULTY HCU. THE SECOND FAILURE CAME WHILE I WAS DRIVING MY WIFE AND 6 MONTH OLD BABY FROM MO TO VA. WHILE ON THE WEST VIRGINIA TURN PIKE, THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES FAILED AGAIN AND EVENTUALLY THE BRAKEING SYSTEM FAILED ALL TOGOETHER BY THE TIME WE REACHED OUR DESTINATION OF SUFFOLK VIRGINIA. BARTON FORD, IN SUFFOLK VA, REPLACED THE HCU AND THE ECU AND REPAIRED A BRAKE FLUID LEAK. THE THIRD INCIDENT OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING BACK TO MO. ONCE AGAIN THE BRAKES DID NOT RESPOND NORMALLY. ONCE BACK IN O'FALLON, MO. THE DEALERSHIP FOUND A AIR BUBBLE IN THE BRAKE LINE AND THEY REPROGRAMMED THE ABS MODULE. EACH BRAKE FAILURE ALSO AFFECTED THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM AND THE SPEEDOMETER. WE HAVE ALSO HAD TO HAVE ONE WINDOW REPLACED, THE DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR ADJUSTED, A SEAL INSERTED IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE DUE TO A RECALL ITEM, AND BOLTS TIGHTENED AT THE ENGINE CRADLE MOUNTS. RECENTLY, THE FUEL CAP INDICATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED FOR A PERIOD OF 5 DAYS FOR UNKNOWN REASONS AND WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO FILL THE GAS TANK TO ITS NORMAL CAPACITY. THIS VEHICLE IS UNSAFE AND HARDLY WORTH THE $27,220 THAT WE ARE PAYING FOR IT.

WHILE DRIVING 65MPH VEHICLE LOST POWER. PRIOR TO LOSS OF POWER OVERDRIVE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.*AK
WHILE DRIVING, THE AUTOMATIC SLIDING DOOR INTERMITTENTLY OPENS, DEALER HAS REPLACED AUTOMATIC DOOR SENSOR, BUT THAT DID NOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM. *AK *YD
THIS VEHICLE HAS DIED WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF TRIPS (LONG AND SHORT/HOT ENGINE NORMALLY). WHILE DRIVING AT 55 MPH IT DIED ONE TIME, CAUSING US TO ENTER THE ONCOMING TRAFFIC LANES AROUND A CURVE. THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR A FAMILY VEHICLE WHEN THERE IS AN ENTIRE FAMILY IN THE VEHICLE. WE HAVE NOTIFIED THE DEALER AND HAVE TAKEN IN FOR SERVICE, BUT IT CONTINUES TO DIE. WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH OUR 1998 WINDSTAR THAT WAS TOTALLED IN A COLLISION (NOT PROBLEM RELATED). I DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS THE IGNITION SYSTEM OR THE FUEL SYSTEM. THIS VEHICLE HAS MULTIPLE RECALLS TO DATE. *AK
POWER SLIDING DOOR FAILED TO STAY CLOSE. WHILE DRIVING ALONG DOOR AJAR SIGNAL ON THE DASHBOARD WILL ILLUMINTATE TO ALERT THAT DOOR HAS POPPED OPEN. POWER SLIDING DOOR CANNOT BE MANUALLY FORCED TO CLOSE. DEALER WAS NOTIFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION.*AK
AT 20-25MPH FRONT RIGHT WHEEL BOLTS AND NUTS SEPARATED, CAUSING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE. DEALER IS INSPECTING VEHICLE.*AK

I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE ON NOVEMBER 10, 2001. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN BROUGHT FROM ANOTHER DEALER, AND WHEN I PICKED IT UP, IT WAS PURPORTED TO HAVE BEEN EXAMINED AND EVERYTHING WORKING. WHEN I GOT A FEW MILES DOWN THE ROAD, I NOTICED THAT THE AIR BAG LIGHT WAS FLASHING. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND HAVE IT CHECKED. SINCE IT WAS SATURDAY, I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT WEEK TO HAVE IT CHECKED. I WAS TOLD AT PRESTIGE FORD THAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR MODULE WAS NOT THE RIGHT ONE FOR MY CAR. THE CAR WAS MANUFACTURED 3 DAYS AFTER THE MODULES CHANGED FOR THE NEW CARS. THEY ORDERED THE PART, I CAME BACK A WEEK LATER TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. THE COMPUTER STILL SHOWED A PROBLEM, AND MECHANIC SAID THAT HE HAD REPLACED THE PART BUT WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT FORD TO SEE WHAT TO DO ABOUT THE OTHER PROBLEM. A WEEK LATER HE CALLED AND SAID HE HAD NOT REACHED FORD YET. I SAID THAT MY AIR BAG WORKED, THOUGH, AND HE SAID NO. THE NEXT DAY I WAS STRUCK BY ANOTHER VEHICLE IN A FRONT END CRASH. WE STRUCK AT APPROX. SAME ANGLE AND BOTH AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. MINE DID NOT. I STOPPED WHEN I SAW HER COME OVER ON WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD. SHE HIT ME AT APPROX. 35 MPH. MIDDLE SEAT IN THE CAR CAME OUT OF THE ANCHORS. I HIT THE STEERING WHEEL AND WAS THROWN AGAINST THE DOOR. I WAS INJURED, NECK, CHEST, ARM, SIDE. I BELIEVE THE VEHICLE WAS DEFECTIVE, I WAS ALLOWED TO DRIVE IT WITHOUT THE OFFER OF A LOANER, AND I FEEL THAT THE AIR BAG COULD HAVE DIMINISHED MY INJURIES. I AM ALSO VERY CONCERNED ABOUT BACK SEAT COMING LOOSE.*AK
WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH FRONT LEFT SIDE AXLE BROKE. DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED. FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS CONCERNING THIS MATTER.*AK
