Due to icy roads, the Genesis slid into a curb at a slow rate of speed. The vehicle did not go up on to the curb and the speed was very slow. There were scratches on the wheel, but no other body damage or contact. Four airbags violently deployed in a spectacular overreaction which could have caused injury. I am concerned for public safety. The auto manufacturer refuses to respond to me.
I was in a collision where another vehicle crashed into me at the driver's side front corner of my car. The other driver was going at least 30 miles per hour; I was probably going 10-20 miles per hour. None of my airbags deployed despite the collision resulting in a total loss to my vehicle.
The contact's father-in-law owned a 2022 Genesis GV70. The contact stated while the driver was driving at an undisclosed speed during rainy weather conditions, the driver crashed into a Ford Fusion at an unknown location and there was a third vehicle impacted that crashed into a wall. Hello, I am writing to file a complaint regarding the seatbelt mechanism in my Genesis vehicle and to request an investigation into the issue. The seatbelt system in my car rapidly retracts with no slack. This excessive force can potentially cause serious injuries. Unfortunately, my family and I recently experienced a devastating consequence of this issue. On April 9th, 2022, we were involved in a rear-end collision. We would like to get an answer from if aggressive retraction of the seatbelt, could've resulted in the loss of our unborn child. We are heartbroken and concerned about the safety. We would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter, as we believe that addressing this issue could potentially save lives and prevent further tragedies. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
