The contact also received an email from the manufacturer that a possible condition had been detected within the engine control system and a full check was needed whenever convenient with a preferred dealer. The dealer was made aware of the failure on numerous occasions but had not called the contact back. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to take the vehicle to a dealer for diagnosis. The failure mileage was approximately 1,900.
