TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC ENVOY. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE SERVICE STABILITRAK WARNING INDICATOR PERIODICALLY ILLUMINATED. ALSO, THE STABILITRAK ACTIVE INDICATOR PERIODICALLY ILLUMINATED, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO STALL. WHEN THE CONTACT RELEASED AND RE-APPLIED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE STABILITRAK DEACTIVATED AND THE VEHICLE FUNCTIONED NORMALLY. OCCASIONALLY, WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE BRAKE PEDAL VIBRATED VIOLENTLY AND THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO STOP. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED FORWARD. FURTHERMORE, THE DRIVER'S SEAT WAS UNABLE TO MOVE FORWARD. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO ADJUST THE SEAT MANUALLY OR WITH THE POWER POSITION ADJUSTER, THE SEAT FAILED TO ADJUST UNTIL AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BOWSER BUICK GMC (1001 CLAIRTON BLVD, PLEASANT HILLS, PA 15236, (412) 346-7929) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE DRIVER'S DOOR MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.

THE HIDDEN WELDMENT HOLDING THE REAR LIFTGATE STRUT BROKE CAUSING THE STRUT TO BECOME DISLODGED AND ALLOWING THE GATE TO VIOLENTLY FALL ON MY BACK, SHOULDERS AND HEAD. WHILE PAINFUL FOR ME THIS COULD HAVE CATASTROPHIC IMPACT ON A CHILD. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A GM DEALER WHO SAID THEY COULDN'T REPAIR THIS AND SUGGEST I TALK TO A BODY SHOP. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC ENVOY 360. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TAIL GATE FAILED TO STAY IN PLACE WHEN IT WAS SHUT. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE LATCH FAILED. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY BEING REPAIRED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 10,700 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,680.
